Pentagon Jr. comes out to the ring and takes a microphone. He cuts a promo in which he speaks disparagingly of the Real Americans, who he says will each be sacrificed to his master for taking away his shot opportunity to compete for the Mash-Up Wrestling Heavyweight Championship – saying also that he is the only luchador capable of defeating Braun Strowman because he’s only luchador who doesn’t fear him – and issues an open challenge to any one of them to come prove to the Believers why they’re ‘wrestling’ ability is superior to his ability to snap bones in half. And he promises that is what will happen to each of them because he is Pentagon Jr. and he has “Cero Miedo!”
Instead of one of the Real Americans, Bad News Brown is out to answer the call. He comes in the ring and says that like Pentagon, he ain’t got no fear. He don’t fear nobody, certainly not Pentagon Jr. and he’s here to beat an apology out of Pentagon for costing him his shot at the Mash-Up Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship. Pentagon says what happened to him was a mistake, but he won’t apologize for it, so Brown pops him right in the mouth with his closed fist and then sits down on him and wails away at him. Brown throws Pentagon over the ropes, grabs a chair and starts playing a game of whack-a-mole all over Pentagon’s body with it. Then, in the ultimate sign of disrespect, Brown grabs at the eyeholes of Pentagon’s mask and starts ripping it open before elbowing his forehead several times. Then, he finds a case full of beer bottles under the ring and starts smashing them to pieces on Pentagon’s forehead. Pentagon’s partially exposed face turns into a crimson mask as he has four beer bottles shattered on him. Vampiro gets up from the commentary table to go check on his protégé, but then Brown gives him a Ghetto Blaster! Then, Brown gave Pentagon a piledriver onto a steel chair.
At this point, the Real Americans arrive on the scene. Sgt. Slaughter enters the ring to indicate he’s answering Pentagon’s challenge. Brown flips off the Real Americans as he leaves the scene of his crime. Then The Patriot and “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan tossed Pentagon into the ring for his match.

Sgt. Slaughter defeated Pentagon Jr. by referee’s decision when he put Pentagon in the Cobra Clutch and he failed to respond to the referee. The match was something of a joke as Pentagon had just been brutally assaulted and was in no condition to actually compete. Vampiro tried to stop this farce from occurring, but he was pushed aside by Duggan and The Patriot so that the match could take place. The referee didn’t want to start the match, but The Sarge ordered that maggot to do his job, reminding him that is what his boss would want him to do. No work equals no pay because that’s the American way! So, the match was started and ended in about 10 seconds. Slaughter immediately applied the Cobra Clutch and got the win because doing nothing to earn a huge payday is also the American way!

“Classy” Freddie Blassie and The Miz have stopped by Dario Cueto’s office to register a complaint about Awesome Kong interfering in his match against Juventud Guerrera and therefore costing him an opportunity to be in the Ultima Lucha Dos main event. Cueto looks a little annoyed at their complaint but waits until they are finished venting before suggesting that hey get their payback in a match against Awesome Kong. They vehemently disagree, stating that her behaviour doesn’t deserve to be rewarded like that. Cueto mentions the Gift of the Gods and how it entitles the bearer to a match against the Lucha Underground Champion and says that if he doesn’t want to defend the Gift of the Gods against Awesome Kong, then he can turn it in for a match against his brother. Those are his two choices. Blassie and The Miz take a moment to talk it over and decide that they’d rather take their chances with Awesome Kong.

Paige defeated Cortez Castro and Mr. Cisco by submission. Paige didn’t look worried about being in a handicap match and she had no problem gaining control early on and staying in control until Mr. Cisco was able to reverse an Irish whip, sending Paige into the ropes where she took a nasty fall out of the ring as Castro pulled down on the middle rope, causing her to fall through the ropes. From there, The Crew made quick tags and executed several double-team moves. Paige only got back into the match when she blocks a superplex attempt by Castro and knocked him off the turnbuckle with a nasty headbutt, which she followed up with a missile dropkick. From there, she rallied her way towards a victory, thanks in part to miscommunication on the part of her opponents, which opened the door for her to give Mr. Cisco the Paige-Turner and Castro the Ram-Paige DDT. After that, she put Mr. Cisco in the Paige Tap-Out for the win.

Mala Suarte, Paul London, and Saltador of The Rabbit Tribe defeated Drago, Fénix and Aero Star by pinfall to earn a title shot against SaNiTy at Ultima Lucha Dos. It is a result that surprised many of the Believers, but one that was well-deserved. Everyone in the match worked their butts off for a solid twenty minutes. There were a lot of high risks taken considering the high stakes. With all the high spots from the ring out to the floor, the Believers were brought to their feet early on. A late sequence of finishers rapid fire finishers came with Drago executing a blockbuster neckbreaker on Saltador, but then getting a superkick from London and a diving senton bomb from Mala Suarte, who was then given a lethal injection by Fénix. He and London both attempted and missed superkicks, but then Aero Star took out London with the déjà vu til-a-whirl headscissors and Saltador took out Fénix with a springboard tornado DDT. Saltador was given a basement dropkick and then a headsissors facebuster by Aero Star, who was then nailed with a pair of superkicks from London, who quickly went to the top rope and then Down the Rabbit Hole for the win!

Sitting in Dario Cueto’s office, we see him pouring two drinks. One for himself and one for his guest, who we discover is the Ninth Wonder of the World, Chyna! She is the Mash-Up Wrestling Women’s World Champion, and Cueto has welcomed her into the Temple to ask her to defend her championship at Ultima Lucha Dos, which he wants to make the biggest and best lucha event of all-time. Chyna wants to know if there’s any luchadoras in the Temple that will make it worth her time to come to this crappy industrial wearhouse he calls a ‘Temple.’ He tells her not to worry about that because he has some of the best and most dangerous luchadoras in the world who compete here every week. To prove that, in two weeks, he’s going to hold an open invitation for all the luchadoras to compete the chance to face her in a Last Luchadora Standing Match! He invites her to come back to the Temple to watch the match as his special guest of honour, and then she’ll see how tough and blood thirsty the luchadoras in this Temple are. Chyna tells him she’ll be there and she’ll make her final decision then.

Brock Lesnar defeated Ultimo Dragon by pinfall. This match was more competitive than some might think. For starters, Ultimo Dragon used his speed to take the early advantage. He was running and gunning it, so to speak. He would attack, run away from the Beast Incarnate, and attack again, whether with variations of running kicks, headscissors takedowns, hurricanranas, or high-flying diving attacks. It was almost as if the Ultimo Dragon’s style caught Lesnar completely off guard. After dominating for about five whole minutes, Ultimo Dragon delivered his Dragon Combo and then got into the set up position for the Asai DDT, but that was a mistake as Lesnar took him in a rear waistlock and sent him flying across the ring with a German suplex. Embarrassed and angered by his slow start, Lesnar moved as quickly as the smaller luchadors to grab Ultimo Dragon and give him another German suplex. After six in a row, Lesnar slowed the pace, but delivered three more before executing the F-5 and pinning Ultimo Dragon for the win.
Lesnar’s advocate, Paul Heyman, said that Lesnar’s punishing performance was meant to send Samoe Joe a message – no matter how fast he comes out of the gates, Lesnar can withstand it and then switch into dominate and destroy mode, and never let up. This is a former Lucha Underground Champion that Lesnar tore to shreds with ease. Joe might be a bigger man than Ultimo Dragon, but he presents no bigger a threat because the Beast Incarnate is not threatened by anyone… because the Beast Incarnate threatens everyone and what Samoa Joe fails to understand is that his very life will be threatened when he enters the ring with Brock Lesnar at Ultima Lucha Dos. The last time, he ended up in a coma. This time, the end results will be much worse!
