“Macho Man” Randy Savage will compete for the Mash-Up World Heavyweight Championship Title at JOURNEY TO GREATNESS 2015!
“Macho Man” Randy Savage comes to the ring to be interviewed by Ed Whalen. The subject of the interview is Savage’s resurgence in AGPW, since coming off of his indefinite suspension, which has culminated in him winning Rocky Mountain Warfare two weeks ago and therefore earning the opportunity to wrestle for the Mash-Up World Heavyweight Championship. Brought up during the interview is the fact that Savage challenged “Stone Cold” Steve Austin for the title at last year’s JOURNEY TO GREATNESS and how coming up short in that match caused him to snap, led him to succumb to the madness and, ultimately, become the delusional “Macho King.” Savage says that his journey into madness began when Austin got under his skin and the fans encouraged Austin to continue to bait him. He doesn’t hold a grudge against the fans and recognizes that he failed to control the madness, allowing Austin to get the better of him. He promises that this time, things will be different, as he insists that he won’t let CM Punk do the same thing that Austin did to him. If he tries, Savage says that he’ll maintain control of the madness and harness it to rise up to the heavens and drive his elbow down into Punk’s heart, so as to win to Mash-Up World Heavyweight Championship.
Trish & Christian are vicious and delicious!
Christian Cage and Trish Stratus interrupt the interview from going any further because they have a gripe with the Macho Man. They blame AJ Lee for helping the Macho Man to defeat Cage and claim that were it not for his #1 groupie – and Trish’s #1 enemy – Cage would be challenging CM Punk for the International Heavyweight Championship and the Mash-Up World Heavyweight Championship at JOURNEY TO GREATNESS 2015. Savage responds by saying that we it not for Trish, Cage wouldn’t have become the number one contender for the International Heavyweight Championship. Moreover, if it wasn’t for Edge and Test, he wouldn’t have lasted more than five minutes in Rocky Mountain Warfare, let alone finish as the runner-up. This response pisses off Cage, who calls Savage a low, down, filthy liar and demands justice in the form of a match with his Mash-Up World Heavyweight Championship title shot on the line, right here, tonight! The Macho Man gladly accepts, saying that he relishes the chance to beat the creepy little bastard’s ass all over downtown Montréal!

Taka Michinoku vs. Tyler Breeze
Last week, Tyler Breeze had a victory in his debut singles match over Sho Funaki, Taka Michinoku’s tag team partner. This week, Breeze completes the sweep over the members of Kaientai with a victory after he gave Taka a Super Model Kick and a Beauty Shot. The future looks bright for Prince Pretty.
Official Decision: Tyler Breeze wins by pinfall at 4:50
Tyler Breeze is not only a winner, but he’s also super good looking!
*Commercial Break 2*
Ivelisse Vélez vs. Jazz
At the onset of this match, Ivelisse gets to the ring and cuts a brief promo in which she says that she’s the baddest bitch in wrestling. She acknowledges that her opponent likes to call herself that, but says that, tonight, she’ll prove that title belongs to her. Jazz comes to the ring with a huge chip on her shoulder. In her last match, she took AGPW Women’s Champion Awesome Kong to the limit. Jazz has no time for pretenders. She dares Ivelisse to bring the fight to her. Ivelisse tries, but Jazz uses her power to her advantage. She gives Ivelisse a running powerslam, a gorilla press slam and triple rolling butterfly suplexes. When Jazz goes for the Bitch Clamp, Ivelisse breaks free before the hold is fully locked in and nearly steals a victory with a victory roll. Ivelisse mounts a comeback with a variety of shoot kicks, hurricanranas and headscissor takedowns. Jazz briefly retakes control of the match, but Ivelisse manages to avoid the Jazz Stinger. Jazz dropkicks her and she rolls out to the ring apron. Jazz goes to pick her up, but Ivelisse gives her a kick to the side of the head and then a Flaming Arrow (slingshot DDT)! Ivelisse takes advantage and executes the Desert Eagle (sunset flip powerbomb). 1…2…3!
Official Decision: Ivelisse Vélez wins by pinfall at 8:42
Ivelisse Vélez wins the battle of the baddest bitches!
*Commercial Break 3*
Samoa Joe vs. Leo Burke
Samoa Joe asked Commissioner Billy Two Rivers for this match against Leo Burke because he wants to get revenge on Burke for hitting him with a fist full of brassknuckles, which led to him being knocked out of Rocky Mountain Warfare and failing to earn the opportunity to challenge CM Punk for the Mash-Up World Heavyweight Championship at JOURNEY TO GREATNESS 2015. Samoa Joe starts the match hot, but after bumping like a madman, the veteran, Burke, thumbs Joe in the eye and takes over on offence. Burke tries to keep Joe off of his feet by working over his legs, but Joe gets back into the match by stopping Burke from executing a running clothesline in the corner and countering it with a St-Joe slam. A mid-match ringside brawl sees both men suffer damage. Joe gives Burke a running big boot as he’s sitting in the timekeeper’s chair and Burke finds a way to slam Joe’s shoulder into the ring post multiple times. Back in the ring, Joe starts to build momentum, but a whip reversal by Burke sees Joe run into the referee. Burke tries to capitalize on this by bringing out his brass knuckles, but Joe ducks Burke’s haymaker and takes him down with a CCS enzuigiri. He tries to revive the referee. While, he’s doing that, Burke rolls out of the ring and grabs a steel chair. Burke comes into the ring and looks poised to hit Joe with it, but from out of nowhere, the Cuban Assassin steals it and gives Burke a DDT onto the chair. After Joe revives the referee, he gives Burke the Muscle Buster! 1…2…3!
Official Decision: Samoa Joe wins by pinfall at 11:25
Samoa Joe gets his payback on Leo Burke and adds another win to his impressive win-loss record.
*Commercial Break 4*
The “Rated R” Superstar has put Chris Jericho in the hospital.
SoCal Val is standing by with a medical update on Chris Jericho. She reminds viewers that he was assaulted by the Centre of the Universe, a week ago in his hometown of Winnipeg. She notes that he is not here tonight and has been put out of commission for an undisclosed period of time due largely to the actions of Christian Cage and Edge, who gave him a con-chair-to, as well as an Unprettier from Cage and an Impaler DDT from Edge, both onto a steel chair. Just as she finishes saying that, the “Rated R Superstar” Edge appears and cuts a promo telling Val, and those of us watching at home, about how much better we are for his contribution to public service, which was making the loud-mouthed piss ant Chris Jericho go away, and transforming him from the Ayatollah of Rock ‘n Rollah into the Ayatollah of Intensive Care-ah! Now, AGPW, Canada, and actually the entire Mash-Up Wrestling Universe is a much better place because Chris Jericho has been wiped out of it and Edge, Christian, Trish Stratus and Test have assumed the centre of it!
Suddenly, Commissioner Billy Two Rivers shows up and tells Edge that he knows that Chris Jericho is dying to get his revenge on him and that as soon as he’s cleared to return to action, he’ll grant Jericho that match. In the meantime, he’s ordering Edge into action in his debut match against the “Flying Frenchman” Édouard Carpentier. Edge says that Jericho won’t be coming back because he’s now Y2Crippled and that Commissioner Two Rivers just signed Carpentier’s death certificate.
Awesome Kong is an awesome Women’s Champion.
Jeremy Borash is standing by with Awesome Kong to get her thoughts on her victory over Paige last week. Kong says that Paige put up a valiant effort, but fell short because there is no one who can top her. She is the summit of the mountain that is the AGPW Women’s division and it is a mountain that no woman can climb. Then, when asked what she thought about Ivelisse Vélez’s performance in her match against Jazz earlier in the evening, Kong congratulates Ivelisse, but says that she isn’t threaten by new contenders to her title and, in fact, she says that if Ivelisse thinks that she can ride that moment to a victory over the Women’s Champion, then she’s more than welcome to try next week.
*Commercial Break 5*
The British Bulldogs vs. The Brain Busters
The British Bulldogs and the Brain Busters pick up from where they left off in the April 29th Rocky Mountain Warfare match, when Dynamite Kid and Tully Blanchard were often times battling each other and Davey Boy Smith and Arn Anderson were doing the same. This match goes back and forth. At various times, the pace of the match is slow and methodical, while at other times it is fast and hard-hitting. During the match, everyone hit their signature singles finishing moves at different points during the match, with Anderson giving Dynamite Kid the Double A Spinebuster, Smith giving Anderson the running powerslam, Blanchard giving Anderson a slingshot suplex and the Dynamite Kid giving Blanchard the diving headbutt. None of them, however, were able to secure a victory, as the unaffected man was always able to break up the pinfall attempt to keep his team in it. Near the end, with Blanchard and Anderson preparing to give Smith the spike piledriver, Dynamite Kid slingshots over the top rope and stops them from lifting Smith off of the ground by giving them a double clothesline. Together, Smith and the Dynamite Kid clothesline Anderson out of the ring. Then, Smith lifts Blanchard into a delayed vertical suplex while Dynamite Kid climbs to the top rope and executes a missile dropkick to him! Smith covers Blanchard and gets the 3-count to earn the pinfall victory in this excellent tag team bout.
Official Decision: The British Bulldogs win by pinfall at 14:50
The British Bulldogs earn another hard fought victory and continue their ascent up the tag team rankings!
*Commercial Break 6*
Petey Williams vs. Rusev w/ Prince Nana
The Canadian Destroyer, Petey Williams, is in over his head in this match. He has the great misfortune of having to face the Bulgarian Brute, Rusev, who is out to prove that he is the only Super Athlete and one true unbeatable force in the entire Mash-Up Wrestling Universe. Before the match begins, Prince Nana takes the microphone and announces that the Super Athlete, Rusev, wishes to dedicate his victory tonight to Samoa Joe, adding that he wants Joe to watch this match to see how the one true unbeatable force earns his victories – by himself rather than with the help of socialist mercenaries. And Rusev lives up to his word. Williams gives Rusev a good fight, using his speed to get some offence in, but he makes the mistake of trying to apply a sharpshooter on Rusev after taking him down with a tilt-a-whirl side Russian legsweep. Rusev’s huge legs are too powerful and he simply flips Williams onto his back with his leg strength. A Samoan drop, multiple backbreakers and a swinging side slam later, and Williams is in prime position to receive the Accolade. Rusev wins by submission. After the match, Prince Nana hands Rusev a microphone and he tells Samoa Joe that is how you win a match on your own. Then, he says that he hopes he was paying attention, otherwise the submission machine from the tiny Pacific island nation will be crushed under the super power of the Super Athlete from the IMF.
Official Decision: Rusev wins by submission at 5:33
Rusev wins in decisive fashion and appears to be targeting Samoa Joe as his next victim.
*Commercial Break 7*
Édouard Carpentier vs. Edge
Edge is joined by Test, at ringside. He’s the problem solver for the Centre of the Universe. Édouard Carpentier is the overwhelming fan favourite. An innovator of flying off of turnbuckle, Carpentier takes it to the air against, Edge, but the “Rated R Superstar” is much quicker than Carpentier and he ends the Flying Frenchman’s acrobatics by dropkicking him out of the air as he goes for a diving crossbody. Then, so as to follow through on his earlier promise to make Commissioner Two Rivers’ decision to sign this match look really bad, Edge makes Carpentier suffer by giving him a bunch of high impact moves, starting with a flapjack, an electric chair drop, an Impaler DDT, the Downward Spiral and, finally, the spear. Edge pins Carpentier to earn a victory in his AGPW debut match.
Official Decision: Edge wins by pinfall at 6:34
Edge wins his AGPW debut match and embarrasses another hometown hero.

From Montréal to Memphis, “Parlez-vous français?” Tell all the girls, the Rougeaus are on the way!
The Fabulous Rougeau Brothers are out to espouse the virtues of moving from Montréal to Memphis. They’re cutting a heel promo, but the notoriously bizarre Montréal crowd doesn’t seem to give a shit. They know that the Rougeaus are from Montréal and they cheer along to everything, even when they begin singing the “Star Spangled Banner.” The Rougeaus say that they deserve a shot at the North American Tag Team Titles (despite losing to the British Bulldogs just last week), which earns them a huge pop. They want to take the gold from Montréal to Memphis, and they won’t leave the ring without the titles around their waists.
The IMF hold some of the most prestigious assets in the game – the North American Tag Team Championship Titles!
Alberto El Patron, “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase and Virgil come to the ring. El Patron and DiBiase are the North American Tag Team Champions and it is suspected that they’ve used the might of their bank accounts to get those titles. Rumours of bought off referees and copious bent rules dog the champions. Their money can also buy the right kind of influence in the press to limit questions and investigations into whatever wrongdoing they may have done. Moreover, their money can also be used to invest in powerful partnerships, including local business ventures, and create cross-territorial business associates. This final note is particularly important on this night, as the IMF deny the Rougeaus their request on the grounds that their recent win-loss record doesn’t merit the opportunity to compete for the gold. They also make an appeal to the sensibility of the Montréal fans, an odd act for the IMF, asking them whether they want to see a couple of hometown boys who’ve proudly disowned the city for their new home in America win tag team gold or see a proud, local institution beat the crap out of those who’ve abandoned their hometown.
Cue the surprise arrival of the Montréal Mafia! The current BCCW version of the Mafia storms the ring – featuring its Godfather, Yvon “Le Lion” Robert; its Boss, André le Géant; and its Capo, Kevin F’n Steen! They hit the ring and put a quick and efficient professional beating in on the Rougeaus, including nasty forehand chops from André, cannonballs from Steen, André standing on the Rougeaus in the corner, Steen giving them both package piledrivers and Le Lion applying his patented arm trap headscissors to Jacques and Raymond, one at a time. Once the Rougeaus have been properly taken care of, Virgil hands a briefcase full of cash to each of Robert, André and Steen for a job well done. The fans are in shock and the reaction is mixed with equal measures of cheers and jeers for the Mafia’s dismantling of the Rougeaus.
BCCW’s Montréal Mafia snuffs out the IMF’s competition!

Bret “The Hitman” Hart vs. “The Iceman” Dean Malenko
While the International Heavyweight Champion’s #1 contender wrestles in tonight’s main event, the champion himself has no easy task in this non-title match as he faces the first ever International Heavyweight Champion in this marquee matchup. It’s the “Excellent of Execution” versus the “Man of 1000 Holds,” the PWI 500 #1 ranked wrestler in the world of 1993 & 1994 versus its #1 ranked wrestler in the world of 1997 – Bret “The Hitman” Hart versus “The Iceman” Dean Malenko! Hart and Malenko showcase their technical wrestling skills by putting on a chain wrestling clinic. This is a treat for those who appreciate pure mat based wrestling. Holds are exchanged, escaped from and even counter. They go back and worth for the opening five minutes until Malenko rises out of a headlock, backs Hart into the ropes and sends him running. Malenko drops to the mat as Hart hops over him. Next, Malenko leap frogs over Hart. Finally, Malenko connects with a leg lariat to take him down and then he goes right back to a rear chinlock. This time, Hart breaks out of it and sends Malenko running. Hart goes for a clothesline that misses. He sets up for a back body drop and Malenko goes for a sunset flip, but Hart won’t get pulled down. Instead, he sits down on Malenko chest and hooks his legs for a pin and a 2-count. They get up and Malenko pops Hart in the mouth with a firm right hand. Hart wasn’t expecting that one and it staggers him for a moment. Malenko runs to the ropes and takes Hart down with a tilt-a-whirl headscissors that send him out to the floor. Malenko goes over to the ropes and slingshots over with a plancha to take out the Hitman. The Iceman picks him up and gives him some chops before rolling him back into the ring. Malenko goes to climb the turnbuckle, but Hart gets up and trips him up. Hart climbs the turnbuckle and both men trade punches. Malenko knocks Hart down to the mat and goes for a frog splash, but Hart rolls out of the way. They get up and Hart drops Malenko with a running dropkick. Hart gives him a fireman’s carry takedown and then applies a headlock. Malenko gets up and breaks it with a side belly-to-back suplex. When they both get up, they exchange chops, much to the delight of the crowd. Hart takes over with some kicks to the sternum and then a pendulum backbreaker. Hart starts working on Malenko’s knee with some knee drops. He drags Malenko over to the ropes to give his knee some seated senton drops on it. Hart picks up Malenko and executes a vertical suplex. He goes for the pinfall. 1…2. kick out. Hart goes back to work on the knee. Eventually, Malenko makes it back up to his feet. Hart gives him a bridging German suplex, but Malenko kicks out at two. Hart goes for another vertical suplex, but Malenko counters it into an inside cradle for a 2-count. When they get up, Hart starts firing away at Malenko with right hands, but then he drops Hart with a step-up enzuigiri kick. Malenko goes for the cover. 1…2.. kick out!
Malenko grabs Hart and lifts him up onto the top turnbuckle. He goes up and tries to give Hart a frankensteiner, but he clutches the top rope. Malenko lands on his feet. Hart goes for diving move from the second turnbuckle, but Malenko dropkicks him on the way down! Malenko drags him away from the ropes and hooks the leg for a 2-count. Malenko gives him some pointed elbow drops to the chest and then locks on a heascissors and armbar combo. Hart moves around and breaks it by getting a foot on the bottom rope. Malenko gives Hart some chops and goes for an Irish whip, but Hart reverses it and gives Malenko a flapjack. Hart covers him for two. He picks up Malenko and executes a pendulum backbreaker and then applies a figure four leglock. After a while, Malenko turns it over, transferring the pressure onto Hart’s knees, however he eventually turns it back around, but then Malenko is close to the ropes and can grab them for a rope break. Next, they trade punches until Hart connects with a couple in a row and then gives Malenko an inverted atomic drop and a Russian legsweep. Hart goes up to the second rope and executes a pointed elbow drop. He covers, but Malenko kicks out. Hart goes for the Sharpshooter, but Malenko fights with him and manages to get to the ropes to stop it. They lock up again. Hart gets Malenko in a side headlock. He tries to push Hart off, but it doesn’t work, so instead he breaks it with an atomic drop and then executes a belly-to-belly suplex. He pins, but Hart kicks out. Malenko climbs the turnbuckle and when Hart gets up, he executes a diving crossbody into the lateral press for 1…2… kick out! Next, Malenko drops Hart with a spinning heel kick and then he gives Hart a gutwrench powerbomb! He pins. 1…2… kick out! Malenko tries to go for the Texas cloverleaf but struggles to flip Hart over and he makes it to the ropes for a break. Hart slides out to the floor. Malenko leaves the ring to attack from behind, but Hart kicks him and then whips him into the guardrail. He charges in and burries a knee into Malenko’s abdomine. Hart rolls Malenko back into the ring. Now, Hart climbs to the top turnbuckle, which is unusual for him, and tries a splash, but lands on Malenko’s knees. Malenko locks in the Texas Cloverleaf. He has Hart in a bad position, but he someone manages to make it the ropes. Malenko whips Hart into the corner. He charges in and takes a boot to the face and then Hart gives him a running bulldog. Hart applies a Sharpshooter. It looks like the match will end, but Malenko claws and scraps his way to the ropes to earn the rope break. Another exchange of right hands and then Hart with a corner whip attempt, but Malenko reverses it. He runs in and takes Hart out of the corner with a monkey flip. Malenko goes to climb the ropes, but Hart gets up and meets him on the top rope and executes a superplex! Hart applies the Sharpshooter one more time and this time Malenko submits. Hart earns a hard fought victory. Malenko is frustrated with his loss, but the two competitors shake hands and earn a standing ovation for their incredible effort.
Official Decision: Bret “The Hitman” Hart wins by submission at 17:34
Bret Hart wins in this battle between two of the most gifted ring technicians that professional wrestling has ever seen.

Bo Dallas has some words of inspiration for Dean Malenko.
We go backstage where SoCal Val catches up to Dean Malenko to get his thoughts on the match he just had against Bret “The Hitman” Hart. Malenko is clearly frustrated and unhappy with himself over this loss. However, before he can say very much, AGPW’s resident inspirational guru, Bo Dallas, drops in to impart some inspirational words of wisdom to Malenko. He tells Malenko to cheer up and keep up a positive attitude because even though he once was the first International Heavyweight Champion in company history, but has since lost every major match he’s contested, allowed everyone that he’s feuded against to get the better of him, lacks the will and the heart to compete at a high level and should probably consider hanging up his boots for good, staying positive is the best way to survive the humiliation of losing matches day after day after day. It is what will help him keep his sanity as he tries to navigate through a career that has clearly derailed. If he maintains that positive attitude and keeps a smile on his face, he’ll get through it all in one piece. Because all he has to do is BOLIEVE.

Mash-Up World Heavyweight Championship Title Shot Match
“Macho Man” Randy Savage vs. Christian Cage
“Macho Man” Randy Savage vs. Christian Cage
“Macho Man” Randy Savage appears to be walking right into a wasps nest (or something equally terrible). He’s agreed to put his Mash-Up World Heavyweight Championship Title Shot on the line against Christian Cage, but it looks like a 3-on-1 situation. Savage has come to the ring by himself, but Christian is accompanied to the ring by Trish Stratus and Test, his delicious girlfriend and problem solver, respectively. Savage wins a few collar and elbow lock ups, turning them into hip tosses and other knockdowns that send Cage scurrying to the outside to regroup. With Stratus and Test coming to his side, Savage can’t keep his momentum going. A test of strength is easily won by Savage, who gets Christian’s shoulders right down to the mat for a 1-count. When the hold is finally broken, Savage sends Christian into the ropes and goes for a clothesline, but Christian takes him down with a crucifix pin for a 1-count. When they get up, Christian slaps Savage hard around his face, and the Macho Man’s expression turns deadly serious. He chases Christian out of the ring until Test gets in the way. Savage returns to the ring. As Christian and Trish talk strategy, Savage climbs the turnbuckle and takes Test down from behind with a diving double axehandle smash! Christian sees this and pounces, knocking Savage down with a running clothesline, then grabbing him by the hair and trunks and throwing him into the guardrail. Christian resets the referee’s count and spends the next five seconds putting the boots to Savage before picking him up and rolling him into the ring. Christian climbs the turnbuckle and waits for Savage to get up before diving, hitting a missile dropkick. He pins. 1…2.. kick out. Christian sits down on Savage and gives him a rear chinlock. Savage starts moving towards the ropes and Christian drops his weight on Savage with some seated sentons. Christian picks up Savage and gives him a vertical suplex. He covers for a 2-count. Christian drags Savage over to ropes and drapes him across the second rope, then stands on his back, pushing him down. Next, he slingshots to the floor and slaps Savage in the face. Christian grabs Savage by the feet and drags him to the floor, then with a waistlock tackle drives Savage back into the guardrail. Christian goes back inside and distracts the referee while Test puts the boots to Savage. Test rolls Savage into the ring and Christian covers. Savage kicks out. Christian picks up Savage and puts him in an inverted face lock and then transitions it to a backbreaker. He pins. 1…2… kick out. Christian tells the referee to count faster. Christian brings Savage to his feet and whips him into the ropes. He runs in and tries for a monkey flip, but Savage lands on his feet. Christian charges at him and Savage takes him down with a few arm drags in a row. Savage runs to the ropes and comes back to knock Christian out of the ring with a jumping high knee.
Savage exits the ring. He picks up Christian and gives him an Irish whip into the guardrail. He starts to charge, but quickly puts on the breaks as Test steps in the way. The referee hops out of the ring and gets into a verbal sparring match with Test that ends with Test being ejected from ringside. The crowd pops. While Test throws a fit and argues with the referee over his decision, Christian regains control of the match when Trish comes up from behind Savage and pulls his hair to turn him around and give him the Chick Kick! When this happens, AJ Lee runs down to ringside. While Christian rolls Savage back into the ring, Trish turns around to walk away, but turns just in time to see AJ jump onto the top ring stop and lea off to execute a hurricanrana on her! Christian has Savage pinned, but doesn’t see what is happening behind him as his delicious squeeze is getting pummelled by AJ, much to the delight of the fans. The referee is busy trying to break this up. Christian goes outside as other officials arrive to separate AJ and Trish. The referee orders them thrown out of the arena. Now, Christian is on his own. While he complains, Savage gets up, comes to the side of the ring and performs a slingshot plancha on him! Savage picks up Christian and they trade blows. As they brawl at ringside, Savage rakes Christian’s eyes (earning a huge pop) and then whips him into the ring steps. Savage tosses Christian back into the ring, climbs the turnbuckle and executes a diving axehandle smash, then another and another! Savage gives him an inverted atomic drop and lariat. He goes back up to the top turnbuckle and executes a diving crossbody into a lateral press. 1…2… kick out! Savage goes for a vertical suplex, but Christian lands behind him and tries a roll-up pin. 1…2.. kick out! Christian runs to the ropes and attempts a spinning heel kick, but Savage ducks it. When Christian gets up, he knocks him back down with a running elbow smash to the forehead. Christian gets up and Savage gives him another and another. Savage with a scoopslam and then he climbs the turnbuckle and points to the heavens, but Christian rolls to the far corner. Savage gets down. He waits for Christian to get up and charges towards him. Christian gives him a back kick and then a corner springboard sunset flip. 1…2… kick out! Christian grabs Savage and tries to give him the Unprettier but Savage shoves him away and Christian knocks into to the referee! Then, Savage knocks Christian over with a running clothesline before giving him a bodyslam.
Savage looks to climb the turnbuckle, but upon noticing that the referee is down, he goes to check on the referee. When Christian starts moving again, he comes up from behind Savage and gives him a low blow and the Unprettier! Noticing that the referee is still down, Christian decides to leave the ring. He goes over to the time keeper’s position and takes his chair. He tosses it into the ring, then he goes back to grab the ring announcer’s chair. As he folds it up, the chair is yanked out of his hands from a hooded figure standing on other side of the guardrail. Christian looks up to see the Mash-Up World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk in the front row! He gets into an argument with CM Punk about interfering in his business. Punk defiantly tells Christian to do something about it. After blowing a lot of hot air, Christian decides to go back to the ring. However, as he slides into the ring and tries to pick up the chair, he sees the Macho Man’s foot standing on the back of the chair. Savage drills Christian with some elbow smashes to the head and then runs to the ropes and knocks him down with a jumping high knee. He gives him a scoopslam and then climbs to the top rope. Diving elbow drop! The referee is up and counts it. 1…2…3! “Macho Man” Randy Savage wins!
Official Decision: “Macho Man” Randy Savage wins by pinfall at 16:52
“Macho Man” Randy Savage cements his spot at the Mash-Up World Heavyweight Championship #1 Contender!
CM Punk makes a surprise appearance!
As the Macho Man celebrates his win, CM Punk hops the guardrail. He enters the ring. While holding the Mash-Up World Heavyweight Championship Title on his shoulder, Punk waits for the Macho Man to see him before extending his hand to shake it. The ever-paranoid Macho Man is hesitant, but he looks to the fans who urge him to do it. After considerable hesitation and plenty of pressure from fans and CM Punk alike, he does it. However, as Savage tries to pull away, Punk holds the grip firmly and pulls him in for a hard knee to mid-section. Then Punk hoists Savage onto his shoulders and gives him the Go to Sleep! Our show ends with an image of Punk standing over Savage and holding the Mash-Up World Heavyweight Championship Title belt high in the air.
