From there, the show opens with Joey Styles (2000) in the ring, and the fans cheer him on! Styles tries to go on to talk about the up coming show, when he is interrupted by none other than Kevin F'N Steen (2014)!
Steen comes out and runs down the fans and this organization, before saying they should be grateful to him, "Mr. Wrestling" for keeping this business alive! Kevin holds up his BCCW Middleweight championship and says he is the greatest champion of all time, and they should feel honored he would even grace them with his presence! This brings out Ricky Steamboat (1985)!
Steamboat says he's been competing with Steen for a long time over in BCCW, and he's come here to ICW for new competition, only to find Steen here, running his mouth! He says that belt deserves to be around the waist of someone with respect, not a punk like Steen! Steen says if Steamboat thinks he's got the plumbs to take it from him, they can fight later tonight, and Steamboat accepts! What a main event we have for tonight!
Billy Kidman (1999) versus "The Ticking Time Bomb" Brian Pillman (1995)
Billy Kidman (1999) versus "The Ticking Time Bomb" Brian Pillman (1995)
Pillman plays mind games early, cutting off the fast paced Kidman, before laying into him with a grounded assault. Kidman manages to show his technical skills and get the match turned around, hitting a Swinging Headscissors takedown that sent Pillman to the outside, followed by a Suicide Dive to get these fans behind! Kidman sends the Cincinnati native back into the ring and heads up top, thinking Shooting Star Press, but Pillman gets the knees up! Pillman is able to deliver a Tornado DDT, and that does it! Pillman gets the win, but he attacks Kidman after the match with stomps, spitting on him like a madman, and these fans boo as Pillman smirks like a maniac as he leaves.
Out to the ring next is Rob Van Dam (1998) with Bill Alfonso (1998)!
Van Dam and Fonzy get these fans riled up with their fun exchange in the ring, hyping their arrival here in ICW, but it's short lived as into the ring from the crowd storms Terry "Bam Bam" Gordy (1989), who takes down Van Dam and hits him with a Powerbomb!
The fans are booing Gordy, who grabs a microphone and says tonight he's going to show everybody who the real best is, as he's tired of pretty boys like Van Dam stealing all the spotlight! It's "Bam Bam" time!
Greg "The Hammer" Valentine (1984) versus Nova (2001)
The fans are booing Gordy, who grabs a microphone and says tonight he's going to show everybody who the real best is, as he's tired of pretty boys like Van Dam stealing all the spotlight! It's "Bam Bam" time!
Greg "The Hammer" Valentine (1984) versus Nova (2001)
Nova would come into this match the favorite by default, as the fans always hate "The Hammer" and he thrives on that. Nova would start off quick and that threw off Valentine, but Valentine would eventually gain control and slow things down, slamming Nova to the mat and wearing him out with a variety of holds, as well as some ground and pound. Nova would manage to catch Valentine with a boot as he charged him in the corner, following up with a Missile Dropkick, which lead to a two count. Nova would then go looking for the Nova Cain, but Valentine would reverse it, hitting a Piledriver and then locking on his Figure Four Leglock, causing Nova to tap out nearly immediately and "The Hammer" shows his dominance tonight!
The Steiner Brothers (1996) versus The Public Enemy (1995)
The Steiner Brothers (1996) versus The Public Enemy (1995)
This was a wild match, thanks to the Public Enemy, who got this match started as a brawl early and took things to the outside nearly as soon as the bell sounded. The Public Enemy would make things hardcore, bringing in the furniture, trashcans, and would bring a table into the ring. That would end up coming back to bite them, as Rick Steiner put Johnny Grunge through said Table with a German Suplex. Scott would end up getting Rocco Rock up on his shoulders and the Steiners would hit a Steiner Bulldog onto a chair to Rocco Rock, and that would get them the win in what was a very violent and exciting contest!
"The Whole F'N Show" Rob Van Dam (1998) w/ Bill Alfonso (1998) versus Terry "Bam Bam" Gordy (1989)
"The Whole F'N Show" Rob Van Dam (1998) w/ Bill Alfonso (1998) versus Terry "Bam Bam" Gordy (1989)
Gordy put a hurting on RVD earlier, but Van Dam was looking to come out of the gate here fast and hurt Gordy. Gordy takes some lumps early, and Alfonso gets involved, tossing RVD a chair, which RVD uses to deliver the Van Daminator to Gordy, looking like it might be over early in anticlimatic fashion, but Gordy shocks everyone with a powerful kick out, showing just how tough he is! Gordy, from there, is able to mount some big brawler offense before sending RVD out of the ring with a clothesline. Gordy just dominates from there, slamming RVD into the turnposts and smacking him with chairs before Powerbombing him on the floor, and it seemed to be over from there! Gordy just leaves RVD for dead, but Van Dam is willed on by Fonzy and the fans, and he gets back in before the ref decides to call it. Gordy goes right back on the attack, grabbing RVD and hitting a High Angle Belly-to-Back Suplex and going for the cover, but RVD kicks out and he just won't stay down! Gordy calls for the end, yelling, "Yer dead, pretty boy!" then attempts another Powerbomb, but this time RVD fights him with a series of punches, reversing and landing on his feet in front of the monster! RVD attempts a kick, but Gordy catches it, but RVD reverses with a Dragon Whip, and Gordy goes down! RVD hurries, not wasting time to taunt, and runs, tumbling and hitting the Rolling Thunder! The fans are going nuts as RVD tries a cover, but still just a two as Gordy appears to be losing steam! Van Dam picks up the chair again and tosses it at Gordy, trying for another Van Daminator, but Gordy ducks! RVD turns and ducks as Gordy tries to smack him with a chair, and Gordy turns and gets caught with the Van Daminator as he's rotating, and he's down! RVD stumbles and then leaps up the turnbuckles, and he looks around, the fans know what time it is... FIVE STAR FROG SPLASH! RVD rolls on the mat for a second, holding his ribs, but he manages to pin Gordy and he gets it! RVD is the winner, and the fans are loving it as "Walk" by Pantera blares through the arena!
BCCW MIDDLEWEIGHT TITLE
Ricky Steamboat (1985) versus Kevin F'N Steen (2014) *C*
BCCW MIDDLEWEIGHT TITLE
Ricky Steamboat (1985) versus Kevin F'N Steen (2014) *C*
There was heat going into this and Steamboat came out hot, chopping and kicking Steen before taking him over with a series of armdrags and then an Enzuigiri that sent Steen out of the ring! Steamboat follows Steen out as the fans cheer him on, but that wasn't a great idea, as Steen is at his element out there. Eventually, Steen is able to take control with just brutish brawling and underhanded tactics before heading back into the ring and then back out with a Front Flip Suicida! Steen goes under the ring, and he's looking for something... he's got a TABLE! As much as the fans love Steamboat, they want to see a table put to use, and it looks like they'll get it! Steen headbutts Steamboat and slams him face first on the table before pulling him up onto the apron. From there, it looks like Steen is getting Steamboat into Package Piledriver position, and this is bad news, but wait... IT'S FRANK SCARPA!
Scarpa is in the ring, and Steen sees him! Steen loosens his grip and goes to defend himself, but Scarpa's got him by the head and pulls him right over the ropes! It ain't pretty, but it's effective, much like the rest of what Scarpa does! Scarpa lays into Steen with boots and then hits him with a big Scoop Slam, and the fans are loving it as Steen is really reeling and Steamboat just leaves the area, knowing his fight is done, the bell sounding to signify the end of the match.
Scarpa blocks an on coming punch from Steen and rakes his eyes, then whips him off the ropes. Scarpa waits for it, and then catches him coming, sending him over the ropes with a Back Body Drop and that sends him crashing right through the table of the outside! "OH MY GOD!!!" can be heard from the commentator's booth from Styles, and the fans are going crazy! Scarpa parades around the ring, holding up the Middleweight title and claiming it's his, before tossing it down on the fallen Steen's prone body and this show comes to an end!
