Cut to the in-studio announce team for the evening:
Gordon Solie & Matt Striker
Solie & Striker welcome us to the show, recap the events of "GENOCIDE" (four championships changed hands) and run down the card for tonight... Boston championship match, Midwest Championship rematch, and a special episode of the Ice Cream Parlor... plus "(Another) New Years Revolution" coming January 28th live from Boston MA!!!
** CUT TO RING **
_____________________________________________________________________________
"Seagulls Of Rhinosouras Bay Part II" by Foxy Shazam blares through the arena soundsystem... a cocky, gritty, grimy Jon Moxley opens the show with a promo.... he's etching his own destiny out in XPW Remixed at the expense of the old guard who refuse to move over... video highlights of Moxley's backstage beatdown of Terry Funk last week... sure enough, "Cowboy" by Kid Rock cuts Moxley off and Funk is in the building!... Dueling mic chant before Funk lays down the challenge by punching Moxley in his fat mouth!!!
JON MOXLEY versus TERRY FUNK
(Impromptu Street Fight)
versus
Funk & Moxley brawl all throughout the ringside area and into the fans... tables, chairs, slugging and brawling... Solie reminds viewers of Funk's elder statesman role in XPW Remixed... Moxley holds his own, but Funk is on fire... literally... a flaming steel chair shot from Funk nearly takes Moxley's head off.
Winner: TERRY FUNK
Postmatch an exasperated Moxley takes the house mic, but must wait to speak as the chants of "XPW! XPW!" are so loud... Moxley challenges Funk to finish this once and for all and on the up and up (Moxley claims he was unprepared for tonight's encounter)... at "New Years Revolution" Moxley vs Funk... in a loser leaves XPW match!!! Moxley promises to retire Funk at "New Years Revolution", but the old dog accepts the young bucks challenge because he plans on putting this ungrateful, smart aleck punk where he belongs... on the cold streets looking in!!!

JINDER MAHAL (w/ Evil Empire) versus
HAKUSHI (w/ William Muldoon)
versus
Video highlight of The Evil Empire's decimation of the Olympia at "Genocide", culminating in Jinder Mahal beating William Muldoon for the Boston title... Backstage correspondent MSD updates the condition of the Olympia, and it's not good... Muldoon is injured and not cleared to compete, but will defy doctor's orders to accompany his man into combat tonight... Great Gama isn't ridiculously tall like Khali, but the man is built like a brick wall... Jinder Mahal is perfect in his role as evil Terrorist cell leader... Mahal wins clean with the cross armbreaker, but won't release the hold... Muldoon tries to get involved but is injured and attacked by Gama and Khali... Hakushi is locked in the cross armbreaker by Mahal until his arm visibly SNAPS!... Hakushi has a broken arm!... Alexxis Nevaeh and Tommaso Ciampa make the run-in and clear the ring (no Mil Mascaras because he was injured by Mahal's armbreaker last night @ "Genocide)"... but Mahal has a mic and another challenge for the Olympia...
Winner by submission (and STILL Boston Champion): JINDER MAHAL
** match segue... **
GREAT GAMA (w/ Jinder Mahal) versus TOMMASO CIAMPA
versus
Young Tommaso Ciampa accepts the challenge when Olympia honor is questioned... Gama is a beast who bullies the chiseled young competitor around the ring... Solie runs down Gama's incredible list of accomplishments and legendary strongman feats... Gama wins when Muldoon is forced to throw in the white towel after Tommaso Ciampa is trapped for an obscene amount of time in Great Gama's crippling swinging full nelson (like Ken Patera used to do)... Jinder Mahal for the go-home promo... claims his Empire's greatest triumph will occur at "New Years Revolution" when XPW Remixed returns to Boston MA!!! Is there a terrorist attack in the works???
Winner (by submission): GREAT GAMA

** Parking lot skit where the Diamond Dynasty (World champion Buddy Rogers, Matt Morgan, Alex Riley & Missy Hyatt) are in full blown celebration mode... all dressed like a million bucks... MSD tries to catch them for an interview... Buddy Rogers goes into business for himself and alludes to a big announcement West Coast VP Jack Pfefer is going to make on his behalf tonight... **
** CUT TO ARENA **
Back inside the arena and there's a disturbance in the concession area... a drunken O'Mahoney 2.0 is causing a ruckus with the fans and can't be contained... he somehow corrals a live mic and lets loose... he's like a man standing on the ledge of a building... suddenly Shane Douglas and the Triple Threat show up to figuratively tell him to "jump"... they bully, belittle and demean the clearly disturbed O'Mahoney 2.0 to overcome their own insecurities...
Douglas, Candido & Gilbert wind up jumping O'Mahoney like a bunch of bullies and beating him down... but suddenly SHEAMUS charges through the crowd, still in his street clothes, for the save!... Douglas flees but Gilbert and Candido get caught in a brawl with Sheamus in the concession area... Gilbert into the popcorn machine, Candido slid face first down the counter through a wall of beer bottles... Sheamus clears the Triple Threat and helps O'Mahoney to his feet... crowd cheers, camera fade out of Sheamus' perturbed, incensed face.

** BACKSTAGE INTERLUDE **
"Commission" VP Jack Pfefer is hosting a "state of the union" address with his people (bodyguard Dick Shikat, the Middle Eastern/American Businessman-attired Abdullah the Butcher and OG Sheik (w/ KotDM belt), woman’s division president Lizzy Borden, and the Diamond Dynasty)... The Grand Wizard is still injured but has issued a formal ruling for strong unity within the camp... The Grand Wizard will be appearing later tonight in a pre-taped segment with a huge announcement regarding the KotDM title... winds of change are blowing within XPW Remixed and The Commission is losing leverage... Rogers balks at that, considering he and his team are the cream of the crop... Pfefer informs them if things continue as they are, that Rogers West Coast championship won't be worth the metal it's made of if Sammartino, Mondt or Lewis have their way... Buddy Rogers tells Pfefer to forget his "big announcement" regarding the West Coast title - aka "Buddy's goddamn championship"... the "Nature Boy" has one of his own for later tonight... Pfefer demands unity... but where is XPW Remixed commissioner Damien Steele?...

Honky Tonk Man's
"ICE CREAM PARLOR"
(featuring Ed "Strangler" Lewis & "Real Deal" Damien Steele)
Honky Tonk Man's 50's diner set is up in the ring... his guests tonight are XPW Remixed president (East Coast) ED "STRANGLER" LEWIS... and the man he hired as on-screen Commissioner, "The Real Deal" DAMIEN STEELE. Both Lewis & Steele are in their business suit finest - Lewis in Boardwalk Empire style, Steele with new millenium swag... HTM is the "Jerry Springer"-like host for this public confrontation... Lewis dresses down Steele for his rash of inept rulings lately... He abused his authority to challenge for the East coast title (see XPW TV Episode #31)… he authorized Jinder Mahal’s cash-in on William Muldoon (which reeks of collaboration and bribery)… he unjustly stripped the great Orville Brown of his title on a technicality (see XPW TV Episode #32)… ”ORR-VILLLE!!! ORR-VILLLE!!!” chants from the crowd… The Commissioner is on thin ice with GDT Inc and Lewis hereby notifies him he’s on job probation… but the cocky Steele (who has been listening with eye rolls and shoulder rugs) retorts with his own fiery accusations…
Ed Lewis, Toots Mondt and their GDT Inc are culpable for creating an unfair, unsafe work environment by sanctioning appearances of escaped, wanted fugitive NICK FN GAGE!!!... Ed Lewis quickly cuts in to say they have no control over those run-ins and have left the duty of corralling Gage to the authorities and to Steele himself (see XPW TV Episode #15)… “Real Deal” Damien Steele claims to have damning evidence of Lewis & Mondt’s collusion to avoid legal ramifications for Gage and allow him to appear at various XPW Remixed events… in other words, they are harboring a fugitive!!!... so if Mister Lewis doesn’t want Damien Steele defecting to “The Commission” and bringing his official title to their doorstep… he better get it right! Damien Steele runs this show and that’s “THE REAL DEAL”!!!
Just then, "For Whom the Bell Tolls" by Metallica rips through the arena sound system! Is Nick Gage in the house??? Everybody looks around, as cameras and spotlights pan the crowd... Gage is in the balcony with the fans!... Chicago Bulls jersey, bandanna covering his face and a microphone as usual... Gage angrily addresses Steele from the balcony, challenging his rule and promising to bring martial law to XPW Remixed!... Gage will DIE before ever going back to jail, and he will bring anybody down that tries... Gage closes with another crowd-pleasing, ominous death threat to Steele and leads the crowd in chants of "XPW! XPW!"... play Gage's music as Steele is hurriedly trying to get security into the stands to catch Gage, who has fled already... cameras linger on Steele's frightened and concerned face to end the segment...

"BEAUTY IS IN THE EYE OF THE BEHOLDER"
Sammi Lane
** BACKSTAGE INTERLUDE **
Angel is spotted in a dark corner of the locker room – alone and brooding… he is then approached by fellow stable mate SAMMI LANE… the beautiful, bratty Ms. Lane tries talking to the silent Angel, to get some kind of emotion out of him… she begs to see his face, and mocks other wrestling establishments for characters like “Kane” – so called “monsters” who are revealed to be normal men once unmasked… so therefore Angel can’t be THAT scary, right?... she uses her female charm to coerce Angel into slowly removing his mask for her to see…. His back faces the camera with Sammi Lane looking directly on, so you can’t see him but you can see her reaction… she is smiling, until the mask comes up… then her face contorts into HORROR and she SCREAMS!!!! Angel roars, puts his mask back on and runs away in pain and embarrassment!... cameras linger on Sammi Lane’s stunned, speechless, fearful expression as we fade out…

JTG gets his "gangsta" entrance, and is serenaded as always by PG-13... they stop at the top of the entrance ramp and perform the lamest, most awkward whiteboy "rap" you've ever heard (presumably while the ring is cleared of the Ice Cream Parlor set)... by the time they make it into the ring and JTG starts his "yoyoyoyoyoyoyoyoyoyoyoyoyo... YO!" routine, the crowd is suitably heated... but instead of getting the "action" we're promised by JTG, once he finds out his opponent for the night, suddenly JC Ice Baby is the designated pinch hitter!!!
ANGEL (w/ Tony Rumble) versus JC ICE BABY
w/ versus
Solie & Striker are joined on commentary by Tony Rumble, who brags about his camp being the best team in Boston... Systematic squash with the masked horror Angel dominating the overmatched (and outsized) JC Ice Baby in quick order... double-fisted sitout chokeslam by Angel finishes it...
Winner: ANGEL
Postmatch, none other than NICK FN GAGE makes the unscripted run-in through the crowd. Just because he can. Nick Gage clobbers PG-13 in succession, garnering larger cheers with each strike. He steel chairs old XPW Remixed nemesis "Boston Bad Boy" Tony Rumble before tearing up the set a bit, just to get a pop and "NICK FN GAGE!" chants. He's outta there again before security can catch him, while Rumble angrily regroups and Angel looms menacingly

** BACKSTAGE INTERLUDE **
XPW Remixed part owner and East Coast VP Joseph "Toots" Mondt is seen backstage talking on his cellphone... something BIG is going down tonight, and it involves their portion of the XPW Championship... Suddenly, Mondt is rushed by an IRATE (and perhaps drunken) DANNO O'MAHONEY!!! The former Boston Champion is outraged over the Triple Threats antics and insults and holds Mondt responsible. A few more shady in-crowd comments from O'Mahoney 2.0, leads you to believe he's referencing a few backstage incidents that Mondt has been involved in. O'Mahoney 2.0 is angry and will seek his revenge. After he storms off, cameras linger on Mondt's face expressionless face. But it's clear the gears in his brain are working in a feverish (and diabolical) manner...

** King of the Death Match #1 Contender Bout **
MADMAN PONDO vs NECRO BUTCHER vs DANNY HAVOC
vs... ABDULLAH the BUTCHER
(4-Way Steel Cage Death Match)
versus versus versus
** Segment starts with a pre-taped video from The Grand Wizard (his first appearance since being burned by Sabu @ “RAPTURE”)… he is in a hospital bed covered head to toe in bandages and wrappings like the invisible man… his multicolored turban still adorns his head though… Sabu will burn for his sins… no matter what happens the King of the Death Match championship finally belongs to The Commission… on behalf of TGW - the champion OG Sheik is sponsoring a hardcore invitational 4-way dance of death tonight… winner will challenge Sheik for the KotDM title @ “(Another) New Years Revolution”… once again, Sabu is BANNED from competing for the KotDM title and if he dares show up he will be hunted down…
Cameras return ringside to find a huge steel cage surrounding the ring, and two of tonight’s opponents already in the ring (Madman Pondo and Danny Havoc)… XPW Remixed fan favorite NECRO BUTCHER gets a big TV entrance… as soon as he enters, the cage door is slammed shut and bell rings… they briefly exchange a few quizzical glances before flying into combat… classic set of hardcore spots from all 3 Death match legends, as they fly all around/into/and on the steel cage walls… a huge 3-way spot off the top of the cage leaves all three men laying in the center of the ring… just then, reigning KotDM champion OG Sheik appears alongside Abdullah the Butcher!!!... OG Sheik opens the cage doors and directs Abdullah inside!... the three opponents are defenseless as the still-fresh Abdullah the Butcher absolutely savages them… bloody, gruesome and merciless… MadMan Pondo actually crawls over to Necro Butcher at one point to protect him from an onslaught of blows, the beatings are just so overwhelming… but just when it looks like the jig is up, and Abdullah the Butcher will “win” this match just to put Sheik over at “(Another) New Years Revolution”… Sabu’s music hits!!!... crowd pops, OG Sheik looks around in terror to find his nephew… but instead it’s “THE CRAZY MONKEY” JUN KASAI!!!... he winds up scaling the cage and crushing Abdullah the Butcher with a cage-top splash with light tubes!... Now OG Sheik is locked OUT of the cage and get into it fast enough before Kasai has stolen the pinfall!!!
Winner (and new KotDM #1 Contender): JUN KASAI!!!
Postmatch, OG Sheik and Kasai brawl in the cage… Havoc/Pondo/Necro recover enough to triple team Abdullah the Butcher and drive him out… and finally SABU returns to exact his revenge upon the OG Sheik!!!...
Sabu and Kasai double-team Sheik to great cheers… Kasai holds Sheik down while Sabu scales the cage and prepares to crush Sheik’s face with a steel chair Arabian facebuster… but before he can leap from the top of the cage, ONITA has appeared at ringside with a tranquilizer gun!!!... PIFF!!! He shoots the dart at Sabu, who plummets from the top of the cage all the way to the arena floor where he crashes through a table!!!... Big “OOOOOO” and “HOLY S***!” chants from the crowd… OG Sheik scrambles away from Kasai and clutches his belt… Onita helps Sheik back up the ramp, smiling, yelling, whooping and jumping about with the tranquilizer gun in his hand… ONITA: The Sabu Hunter!!!!... Kasai and about a half dozen paramedics tend to Sabu outside the ring

"TURN OFF THE LIGHTS"
(Lizzy Borden sets women's rights back 40 years)
XPW Remixed Woman's Div Pres LIZZY BORDEN continues to build her image of what a "woman's wrestling" league should look like. Big pimpin entrance for Human Tornado… Pope D’Angelo Dinero ain’t got nuttin on him… B-Boy is the angry aggressor and odds on favorite to win the match… but Hardbody Harrison’s cadre of female “wrestler” escorts is truly a sight to behold… meanwhile Solie & Striker are hardcore pimping “(Another) New Years Revolution” on commentary… excellent 3-way exchanges with Human Tornado providing the pizzazz and entertainment, B-Boy the vicious shoot strikes and Harrison the aggressive muscle moves… One thing we learn about Human Tornado after he no-sells a low blow from Hardbody Harrison: he's got balls of steel!!!... In the end the returning MILDRED BURKE runs in through the crowd and manhandles the female “wrestling trainees” outside the ring before getting her hands on Hardbody Harrison… Guillotine neck drop from Burke upon Harrison propels him into a “Delikado” finisher by B-Boy… but Tornado outmaneuvers him for the pinfall – his first victory in XPW Remixed! B-Boy and Harrison are outraged, albeit for different reasons… meanwhile the victorious Human Tornado dances it up in the ring and aisle way with Harrison’s hoes (before Hardbody angrily drags them away)… announcers put over Mildred Burke for her guts and courage in confronting her attacker (see XPW TV Episode #31), but wonder if she’s bitten off more than she can chew here…
Winner: HUMAN TORNADO
Mildred Burke is back!!!

Welcome to the debut of the television show "OFFICER CABANA's CRACKDOWN". It's the newest Reality TV sensation in which valiant crusader of law & order Officer Cabana (reigning XPW TV Champion) cracks down on criminals (like the little old lady jaywalking, or the two men arrested for being Black on a Sunday). But the highlight of the sketch is Cabana's capture of the "evangelist conman" MESSIAH. Footage is aired from after their match at "GENOCIDE", where a beaten, bloodied and handcuffed Messiah is hauled away barely conscious - stuffed into the back of a squad car - shackled up and beaten more in his tiny jail cell. EPILOGUE:
The first XPW Remixed Midwestern champion was in a terrible car accident (see "Genocide" for more details). He was in a coma and suffered severe brain damage. He went through long agonizing hours of therapy and exercises. He regained full use of his body. He regained his strength and stamina but he never regained the ability to respond automatically. He had to think about every move he made. He had been exceptionally agile and quick for a man of his size. No matter how hard or how much he worked he was simply unable to react with the speed necessary to do what he wanted to do most - wrestle again. While his career was over, his life was not. He became a very successful promoter and enjoyed staying in the business and with the wrestlers he new so well. He received a great deal of satisfaction watching Lou Thesz, who became one of the all time great champions.

LOU THESZ © versus ADAM PEARCE (w/ Ad Santel)

Big-time main event feel here, with Thesz getting his first entrance as champion… the ovation he receives is thunderous and lingers long past the announcers introductions… Pearce is accompanied as always by head coach Ad Santel, with his arm and shoulder still in a sling/cast (see XPW Online #7)… a nice feel-out segment to start, with each man familiar with each other’s moves by now… Solie calls their match at “Genocide” one of the purest ‘rassling clinics in Territory Wars history… Pearce works the neck of Thesz, while Lou counters with leg and knee locks… this time Ad Santel gets involved and a stiff WHACK from his cast has the crowd gasping at the closest near-fall of the night… Thesz battles back but now his Shooters Club partners Masahiko Kimura & Dan Severn have made their way to ringside to watch Santel… Thesz counters a Pearce jumping piledriver attempt into his STF submission!... Ad Santel wants to interfere but thinks better of it when he sees Kimura & Severn eying him… so Pearce winds up tapping out!
Winner by submission (and STILL Midwest Champion): LOU THESZ
Post match, the USO BROTHERS (with Tamina) jump Severn & Kimura from the rear… all 4 men wind up brawling backstage… meanwhile Santel & Pearce attempt to blindside Thesz but he fights them off… Drake Younger shows up for the Kendo stick Coup de grâce, driving Pearce & Santel from the ring for good… this leaves champion Lou Thesz alone to soak up the fans adulation, and ask for a microphone… the champ’s got something to say…
** Thanks God, the fans and his training partners... says his championship is the truest in professional wrestling... calls out "Nature Boy" Buddy Rogers!!! **
LOU THESZ: My quarrel with Rogers dated back to a single incident occurring during my Army days, shortly before I was discharged. I was on a two-week furlough and had lined up some wrestling dates in the St. Louis territory. Rogers, who wasn’t yet wrestling his rough style, was the top attraction in the territory at the time, and we were scheduled to wrestle the main event on my very first night back, in Louisville, Kentucky. Since I didn’t have any transportation, Rogers met me at the train station in St. Louis and I hopped in his car. As we were driving to Louisville, Rogers started talking about what we could expect that night. He was a very hot card, and since I was well-known to fans as a two-time world champion, it looked like a sell-out, a good payoff for both of us. Then he started bitching. ‘The promoter has even brought in Ed Lewis to referee our match,’ he said. “Why do we need that fat old bastard? The money they’re paying him should be going in our pockets." I stared at Rogers for a couple of moments before asking him what he had been doing before he broke into professional wrestling. He said he’d been a cop in New Jersey. ‘Let me tell you something, kid,’ I said. ‘If it wasn’t for Ed Lewis you’d still be walking a beat. None of us would be making any money at this if he hadn’t paved the way. Don’t ever talk that way, in front of me or anyone, about the man whose the foundation of our industry – it’s disrespectful. What’s more, he’s a very dear friend of mine...."
** But instead, "Black-and-Yellow" blasts through the arena soundsystem and we get XPW Remixed champion (East Coast) BRUNO SAMMARTINO?!?! He has a mic to address Thesz, still in the ring... **
BRUNO SAMMARTINO: Before the book came out, I never had any bad feelings or bad experiences with Lou Thesz. I respected him for what he was to the business. Like anybody else, there were people through the years both pros and cons. There were people who spoke very highly of him and some not so. But that goes for anybody. What bothered me about him and the book, not so much with me because I'm here and I can defend myself, but he spoke of Rocca and Carnera and the Englishman, Bert Assarati, in a very, very negative fashion. I resented it. I lost a lot of respect for the man. I knew Rocca personally. We were tag-team partners in New York and we wrestled each other in New York. With Thesz, that's not what bothered me. Let's not compare Buddy Rogers with Rocca or Carnera as far as their reputation in the business. Not too many guys had a worse reputation in the business than Buddy. There's other things. Thesz doesn't get along with Karl Gotch. He didn't get along too great with Danny Hodge. But these guys are all living and well. How come he didn't speak of them what he feels of them? I know there are bad feelings. He speaks of people who are dead, who cannot defend themselves in any way, shape or form. That's what I resent.
** Sammartino holds claim to the one true championship in wrestling! He's willing to put the belt up against anyone anywhere to prove it! As tension builds between Thesz & Sammartino, now face to face with their respective championship belts gleaming... the instrumental for "Diamonds from Sierra Leone" by Kanye West cuts in! It's the West Coast champion "NATURE BOY" BUDDY ROGERS and his entourage!!! **
"NATURE BOY" BUDDY ROGERS: This particular war will end up with -- you see, there's three big Caesars in Rome... there's too many Caesars in Rome, and Rome has to fall apart -- or the Caesars have to eat each other up in order to accomplish what they set out to do. The worst that can come out of this whole thing is that I have to say to Pfefer, TGW and the "Commission", 'Let's get away from XPW Remixed and join Vince, and we'll get the whole East Coast,' and so they'll kiss and make up. See, Sammartino won't let Thesz get any bigger than Sammartino is, and Thesz won't let Sammartino get any bigger than Thesz is. They both want to devour me, but instead of uniting -- saying, 'Hey man, the hell with this personality struggle, let's eat that son of a bitch up' -- which they're very capable of doing -- well, daddy, you take it from me: Sammartino and Lou will be at each other's throats the moment one gets bigger than the other!!!
** Pride, ego and legacy mix with the volatile fanbase of XPW Remixed to provide an explosive concoction. With the crowd urging them on each man tries to one-up the other until Goddamnit we gon' put ALL the belts on the line!!! Fuck it! You want unity? You want one ring to rule them all? An ultimate and definitive END to a decades long sports debate??? So be it! "(Another) New Years Revolution"... January 28th... Live from Boston... Triple Threat match... Sammartino vs Rogers vs Thesz... with ALL the belts on the line! TITLE UNIFICATION!!! Emotions are high, fans are going crazy, now management is making the run-in... Pfefer looks like he's anxiously trying to talk Rogers down, while Mondt & Lewis and associates mill about... TITLE UNIFICATION bout @ "(Another) New Years Revolution" But is that what the fans want??? **
LOU THESZ: I had learned to live with the success Rogers had been give while so many of us worked hard for a sport we loved. But the knowledge of his contempt for Ed and true wrestlers was more than I could tolerate. I wouldn’t let Rogers win, and he certainly couldn’t beat me, so he had no alternative but to go along with whatever I wanted to do. At least that was some satisfaction for me. Buddy Rogers and I were to wrestled many more times in the coming years, always as the main-event attraction, and we made an awful lot of money together. One thing fans never saw in any of those matches though, was Buddy Rogers with his hand raised at the end – I never let him win, just on principle. Until XPW Remixed. In later years I realized that every industry has its equivalent of Buddy Rogers – someone who reaches the top but never understands the objective.
** Epic, legendary moment between all 3 universal champions, as they stand face to face to face inside the squared circle - a wave of humanity going crazy behind them - and each of their championship belts over their shoulders... a snapshot for the ages and history in the making... TITLE UNIFICATION... only in XPW Remixed... only @ "(Another) New Years Revolution"!!! **

** BIGELOW’s FINAL ANALYSIS **
As we were hot off the heels of a really good PPV outing, XPW Remixed was another exciting show as usual. As has become the recent trend, we have stellar matches, the crowd was into everything and the energy was high. Riley & Morgan had a strong night as they put a hurting on a few guys. Officer Cabana ultimately cost Messiah the TV title. Messiah actually had a decent little title run as his matches were solid and he played the underdog champion role well enough. I wasn’t crazy about how quickly they swept the Diamond Dynasty turmoil under the rug after they spent the past few weeks harping on and on about it. I am hoping it festers up again as the next couple of shows go down. We did start to see a lot of the focus of the shift to Jinder Mahal as a major player and almost as an equal to Muldoon. We are also seeing the official elevation of Lou Thesz to the main event level and he delivered a great promo in the final segment. Another guy getting a big push is Sick Nick Mondo. While he may not be aces in the ring, he does bring a lot of energy and charisma and the crowd is behind him so far. Angel also picked up another big win as did The Great Gama. The final showdown was killer stuff too and the visual of the entire XPW Remixed Corporate Heirarchy standing in the aisle facing Thesz/Sammartino/Rogers as they had the stare-down was great stuff. All in all, this was another fun show that kept up a hot pace all the way through and delivered a lot of angle advancement and storyline developments. Grade: B
