AEW Collision
Feb. 10, 2024
This week’s announce team - Taz and Coach
The Beautiful People — led by TBS Champion Alexa Bliss — start off the show in the ring. Bliss says that she is appalled that Britt Baker interfered in her group’s attempts to beat the ugly out of Kris Statlander on Dynamite. Furthermore, she is appalled that JBL has granted Statlander a match for the TBS Championship in 2 weeks.
Britt Baker comes out onto the stage. She says that she’s itching for a fight and wants to meet any member of the Beautiful People in the ring tonight. She says that she and Statlander have a truce for now — they’re backing each other up so that “The Botox People” won’t be able to get the upper hand against them.

Match 1 - Championship Eliminator: Natural Selection © (15-2) vs. New Age Outlaws (3-1) - New Day is on commentary
Natural Selection gets the win following Benjamin hitting the Paydirt on Road Dogg at 12:49. After the match, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods get in the ring to tell Natural Selection that their days as champions are numbered.
—
LAX is backstage. Konnan says that the Acclaimed think they’re the future of tag team wrestling because they get some cheap pops after rhyming a few words together. LAX isn’t here for cheap pops. They’re in this business to cause pain. That’s why they’ve been coming after The Acclaimed. And, tonight, they’ll avenge their earlier loss.
—
Match 2 - Jungle Boy (6-9) vs. Shawn Spears (12-8)
Spears gets the win with a C4 in 8:12.
—
Sasha Banks makes an entrance to the stage, where Pat McAfee is ready to interview her. She says she’s ready for her match with Ronda Rousey, the so-called toughest woman in AEW. Banks says she’s a wrestling lifer. This is her whole world, while Ronda Rousey is moonlighting in wrestling, just passing time. But at Revolution? Sasha Banks is going to make Ronda Rousey tap out. “And you can bank. On. That.”

Match 3 - Owen Hart Cup Semifinals (Men)
Wardlow (6-0) w/ Paul Heyman vs. Dean Malenko (15-13) w/ Jake Hager
Wardlow and Malenko start off feeling each other out, with Malenko trying to keep his distance and hitting Wardlow with quick kicks here-and-there. Wardlow catches his foot and hits a vicious clothesline, and Malenko rolls out of the ring. He walks around, while Hager gets on the apron and starts jawing with Wardlow.
Malenko slides back in the ring and chop-blocks Wardlow, bringing him to his knees. He hits a DDT, then goes to work on Wardlow’s legs with a grapevine. Wardlow drags Malenko along to the ropes, breaking the hold.
Wardlow gets control of the match with an Irish Whip into a big boot, followed by a spinebuster for a 2-count. He pulls down his straps and signals for a Powerbomb Symphony! But before Wardlow can grab Malenko, Hager pulls him from the ring.
Malenko takes a breather. Instead of re-entering the ring, Malenko waves his arms and starts walking up the ramp. Wardlow moves to chase after him, but Heyman gets in his way and says he needs to stay in the ring and win the match and advance to the final round of the tournament. Wardlow wins by countout at 10:40, but doesn’t look pleased when the ref raises his arm.

Tony Khan is out to the ring next, and says he has a few big announcements to share.
- All AEW Pay-Per-Views will be on Saturday nights moving forward. On PPV Saturdays, Collision will air an hour early and serve as a kickoff show for the event. For Revolution, the tag team battle royal and the TBS Championship will both be on Collision, with the possibility for an additional match.
- The TNT Championship that was vacated by Sammy Guevara on Dynamite will hang from the ceiling during the Face of the Revolution Ladder Match!
- YouTube and boxing celebrity Logan Paul is All Elite! He will make his debut during the Face of the Revolution ladder match!
Match 4 - Britt Baker (7-2) w/ Kris Statlander vs. Angelina Love (5-9) w/ The Beautiful People
Baker gets the win with the Lockjaw at 6 minutes, with Statlander able to keep Rayne and Sky from interfering during the match. Afterward, Alexa Bliss hits Statlander in the back of the head with the TBS Championship and the other members of the stable stomp her down…until Baker hits a suicide dive out of the ring taking down all four members.

We get an announcement for next week on Collision: The Beautiful People trio of Rayne, Sky and Love will take on Britt Baker and Kris Statlander next week. Alexa Bliss is barred from ringside.

Both women in the upcoming UWA Universal Women’s Championship match make big entrances and get to the match, where JBL is sitting at a table. The two women sit across from each other and sign the contract for the match. Cargill grabs the mic first.
Jade - “This is the most prestigious prize in women's wrestling, and it belongs to me. I am the best, the strongest, the most dominant b**** in this business. And no one can take this away from me. Not Sasha Banks; Ronda Rousey; Paige VanZant; Charlotte Flair. And certainly not ...Bianca Belair.”
Bianca - “I see you're feeling yourself tonight. You're feeling really cocky, huh? Well, you should be. You've had a great run as the champion. You've beaten some of the best women in the world. You've proven yourself to be a force to be reckoned with. But you know what? Your run is about to end. Because at Revolution, you're facing me. And I'm not just any woman. I'm the EST of AEW. I'm the fastest, the strongest, the toughest, the roughest, the quickest, the greatest, the best. And I'm going to prove it to you, to these people, and to the whole world, when I take that title from you and become the new UWA Universal Women's Champion!”
By this time, both women are standing. Cargill goes to slap Belair, who backs away before running the ropes and launching herself over the table into a tackle of Cargill. The women roll around on the mat. Cargill tries for a chokeslam! But Belair kicks her in the stomach and rolls around to her back. German Suplex to Cargill! The champ gets up and rushes Belair, who dodges again. Belair grabs her braid and loops it around Cargill’s neck! She pulls it tight, choking out the champion. Cargill fades and appears to be out cold before Belair finally lets go.
Belair picks up the championship belt and looks at it longingly before tossing it down onto Cargill and walking off, while Cargill recovers.

Match 5 - LAX (9-9) vs. The Acclaimed (10-7)
The Acclaimed are on their way to the win until Konnan hits Bowens in the back of the head with a chain behind the ref’s back, allowing Hernandez to hit the Border Toss and get the win in 8 minutes.
—
Hook approaches JBL and Tony Khan backstage and says that, as the only other person to hold the TNT Championship, he wants to be in the ladder match. JBL says that spots are limited, and Hook needs to prove he’s worthy of a shot.
Paul Heyman walks up with Wardlow. He tells Hook that he’s got a proposition for him, and they walk off.
—
Main Event - Owen Hart Cup Semifinals (Men)
Jon Moxley (9-5) vs. Scotty Flamingo (2-0/10-8 overall)
Wardlow comes down to join the announce team for the match.
- Flamingo gains the upper hand with a headlock, but Mox escapes and hits a shoulder block. Flamingo runs the ropes, but Mox catches him with a clothesline. Mox stomps on Flamingo.
- Mox picks him up and whips him into the corner. He charges at him with a running knee strike, but Flamingo moves out of the way and Moxley hits the turnbuckle. Flamingo hits a dropkick on Moxley's back, sending Mox to the outside, where he springboards off the top rope onto Mox.
- They brawl on the outside for a while, and Flamingo puts Mox on the announce table. He dives from the turnbuckle with an elbow drop, but Mox rolls out of the way and Flamingo crashes through the table. Both men take to the count of 8 before they’re back in the ring. Flamingo whips Mox in to the ref, who takes a bump and rolls to the outside.
- Flamingo pulls out a pair of brass knuckles from his tights. He puts them on and waits for Mox to turn around. He punches Mox in the face with the brass knuckles, knocking him down. Flamingo covers Mox for a pin, but by the time a replacement ref makes it to the ring, Mox kicks out at two. Flamingo can't believe it and throws a tantrum.
- Flamingo gets up and goes to the top rope. He signals the Flamingo Splash and leaps off the rope, but Moxley rolls out of the way and Flamingo crashes onto the mat. Moxley gets up and sees the brass knuckles on Flamingo's hand. He takes them and tosses them from the ring.
- Moxley waits for Flamingo to get up and punches him in the face with a closed fist, which the ref chastises him for. Mox picks Flamingo up and hits the Paradigm Shift and covers him for the win after 14 minutes.
Mox and Wardlow stare each other down as the show ends.
