MATCH ONE
SINGLES RULES
One Fall, 15 Minute Time Limit
Hayabusa vs. Shoichi Funaki
Referee: Keigo Yoshino
We had a fiery opener to start this show, as Hayabusa and Funaki came out full speed ahead. Once Hayabusa started to gain the momentum, Kai En Tai members Mens Teioh and Dick Togo would get involved. Kai En Tai would distract Hayabusa and try to change the tides, but out ran Jushin Liger and Jinsei Shinzaki to clear them out! Hayabusa would deliver the Falcon Arrow to get the three count.
Winner by Pinfall: Hayabusa
(00:10:12)
After the match, Jushin Liger would get on the microphone and say that Kai En Tai need to show up with the NWA International Jr. Heavyweight championship they stole at "Maximum Destruction"... because on May 6th in Yokohama, it's going to be Liger and Taka Michinoku, once again, but this time the belt is going to be hung over the ring. Liger says on May 6th, nobody but the champion will be walking out with the title, because they are going to have a Ladder Match! The fans give a strong reaction for this, as Kai En Tai look very concerned on the ramp.
MATCH TWO
SINGLES RULES
One Fall, 15 Minute Time Limit
Meiko Satomura vs. Tsubasa Kuragaki
Referee: Mac Takeda
Tsubasa Kuragaki is a strong competitor who gave Meiko some trouble early, but this match was about showcasing Satomura. Satomura was able to finish this match with a Scoprio Rising axe kick.
Winner by Pinfall: Meiko Satomura
(00:07:40)
After the match, Meiko Satomura says that her and Sonoko Kato will see Ayako Hamada at "Maximum Destruction" with a partner of her choosing, and they are ready to humble her once and for all!
MATCH THREE
SINGLES RULES
One Fall, 15 Minute Time Limit
Masato Tanaka vs. Tamon Honda
Referee: Ted Tanabe
Tamon Honda is a great amateur wrestler, but he loves to use his headbutt arsenal to inflict damage on his opponents. Tanaka is as impactful a wrestler as you're going to find, and once he gets up to speed it is hard to derail the bullet train. Honda would try to win this match with Rolling Olympic Hell, but Tanaka would manage to escape. Tanaka then nails a Double Underhook DDT, followed by the Sliding D elbow to get the pinfall.
Winner by Pinfall: Masato Tanaka
(00:10:33)
After the match, out comes Minoru Suzuki! Suzuki says that he made Tanaka tap out at "GREAT WAVE!" and he feels like doing it again at "Maximum Destruction". Tanaka yells that he accepts! Suzuki then says that there are some gaijins that have been causing trouble for NO FEAR and they cost Yoshihiro Takayama his title match on May 6th. He says if they have the balls, they should show up and get their asses kicked again in Yokohama.
MATCH FOUR
SINGLES RULES
One Fall, 15 Minute Time Limit
Koji Kanemoto vs. Tiger Mask IV
Referee: Shiro Abe
This was a by the numbers Jr. Heavyweight match between two veterans who know each other well. There is history here, as Kanemoto had the Tiger Mask gimmick before Tiger Mask IV became the fourth incarnation, and we saw both men do Tiger Mask signature spots to try to prove who is superior. Kanemoto looked like he might get the win with Tiger Suplex, but Tiger Mask IV would kick out, grabbing the fans attention with the false finish. Tiger Mask IV would deliver the Destroy Suplex, but once again we get a false finish, as Kanemoto would kick out at 2.9999! Tiger Mask would call for the end and lock Kanemoto into a Crossface Chickenwing, but Kanemoto would reverse it midmove and roll, capturing Tiger Mask into a tight Ankle Lock! Tiger Mask tries to get to the bottom rope, but Kanemoto rolls and Tiger Mask has nowhere to go and has to tap out.
Winner by Submission: Koji Kanemoto
(00:09:10)
MATCH FIVE
SINGLES RULES
One Fall, 15 Minute Time Limit
Mariko Yoshida vs. Ran Yu-Yu
Referee: Mac Takeda
"The Spider" was on a mission here, and she was determined to tear through Ran Yu-Yu and send a message to Yoshiko Tamura. Yoshida delivers an Air Raid Crash and that looked like it might be enough, but Yoshida pulls off of the pin attempt and rolls Yu-Yu into the Spider Twist to get the verbal submission.
Winner by Submission: Mariko Yoshida
(00:06:39)
After the match, out comes STORM President Katsumi Sasazaki. Sasazaki says that they will be crowning the WWWA All Pacific champion at "Maximum Destruction", and that match will feature a rematch between Mariko Yoshida and Yoshiko Tamura! And he says that he knows Yoshiko Tamura has been trying to get away from Yoshida, so to make sure she can't run away, they are going to be attached by the wrist by a chain! Mariko Yoshida versus Yoshiko Tamura for the WWWA All Pacific title has officially been announced, and it's going to be a Chain Match!
MATCH SIX
SINGLES RULES
One Fall, 15 Minute Time Limit
Jun Akiyama vs. Katsuyori Shibata
Referee: Keigo Yoshino
This was a battle of philosophies, as one of the best practitioners of the Royal Road style takes on one of the poster boys of the Strong Style. Shibata is giving up some size taking on Akiyama, but he was able to punish his legs with brutal kicks and attacked them with stiff joint holds. Akiyama is known as "Burning" and he showed that spirit here to make a comeback. Akiyama would catch an oncoming Running High Kick from Shibata while against the turnbuckles, and then delivered a Capture Suplex into those buckles, smashing Shibata in a bad way! From there, Akiyama would hit the Wrist-Clutch Exploder Suplex, and from there got the three count victory.
Winner by Pinfall: Jun Akiyama
(00:13:19)
MATCH SEVEN
SINGLES RULES
One Fall, 15 Minute Time Limit
Etsuko Mita vs. Kyoko Inoue
Referee: Shiro Abe
The fans were behind Kyoko Inoue, one of the most charismatic and exciting wrestlers regardless of gender in the world, but everybody knew Mita's faction, LCO, would probably be getting involved. They were right. Out came Akira Hokuto, Takako Inoue, and Mima Shimoda to get involved, but then Manami Toyota, Toshiyo Yamada, and Bull Nakano came out to even the odds! Takako Inoue would accidentally hit Mita over the head with a chair at one point, leading to Kyoko sending her out of the ring with a dropkick to the chair! Nakano and Hokuto would fist fight until Toyota wiped everybody out with a Front Flip Plancha! Kyoko would get the win with a Niagra Driver!
Winner by Pinfall: Kyoko Inoue
(00:13:19)
After the match, Katsumi Sasazaki would make his way out and say that at "Maximum Destruction", two matches will happen. The STORM President says that there will be a six woman tag match featuring Kyoko Inoue, Manami Toyota, and Toshiyo Yamada versus Takako Inoue, Etsuko Mita, and Mima Shimoda. He then says the other match will be for the WWWA World Championship, and it'll be between Bull Nakano and Akira Hokuto!
MATCH EIGHT
SINGLES RULES
One Fall, 25 Minute Time Limit
Kensuke Sasaki vs. Satoshi Kojima
Referee: Shiro Abe
This match was to determine who would face Shinya Hashimoto for the NWA Double Crown at "Maximum Destruction", as the previous challenger, Yoshihiro Takayama, injured his hand in a bar fight and is not cleared to compete. These two had a high energy, hard hitting back and forth battle that had these fans on the edge of their seats. Kojima would pull out all of the stops, but Sasaki just wouldn't stay down, kicking out of the Koji Cutter twice. Sasaki would deliver the Tornado Bomb, which he has used to beat the likes of Akira Taue, but Kojima would manage to kick out to the shock of everyone! These two would trade chops back and forth and then we had a battle of Lariats, which Sasaki would come out the better of. From there, Sasaki delivers the Northern Lights Bomb and it's all over. Sasaki is heading to "Maximum Destruction" to face Shinya Hashimoto for the title!
Winner by Pinfall: Kensuke Sasaki
