Halloween Hell, Saturday, Oct. 15, 2022

Special guest: Elvira -- Mistress of the Dark!
Dark Matches.
1. Mixed Tag Team Match. Tony Charles & Tegan Nox beat Les Thorton & Anna Jay when Charles rolled up Thornton.
2. Single Match. 'Playboy' Buddy Rose beat Chris Candido with the Las Vegas Jackpot (DDT).
3. Halloween Women's Match. Kana (dressed as Muta) defeated Hikaru Shida (dress as Kabuki) with the Kanalock.
The Halloween Hell PPV kicks off with announcers Gordon Solie (Phantom of the Opera), Rich Stewart (a vampire), Charly Caruso (Lady Godvia) & guest Elvira who comes as herself) to welcome everyone to the Pay-Per-View. (Halloween theme music plays as the Monster Mash & Thriller among others). Elvira will serve as guest ring announcer tonight & heads to the ring. The announcers comment on how a lot of fans turned up in Halloween costumes.

1. Non-Title Challenge Match. Hiroshi Tanahashi pinned UWF World's Junior Heavyweight Champion Finn Balor after executing a diving double foot stomp).(14:29). Balor jumps Tanahashi at the bell & does a job on him early on. Finn has trouble controlling his temper & the referee gets in his face. Hiroshi mounts a high-flying offense to secure the comeback win.

2. 8 Man Tag Team Match. The Dillon Dynasty (Greg Valentine, Bob Roop, Dick Slater & Bob Orton Jr.) w/mgr. James J. DIllon beat Danny Hodge, Austin Idol & the Can-Am Express (Doug Furnas & Phil LaFon). Roop with shoulder breaker on Furnas to win the match. (16:47). Interesting brief clash between figure-four leglock experts Valentine & Idol highlighted the match as the impressive grappling holds exchanged between Hodge & Roop.

3. Special Challenge Match. The Masked Destroyer submitted Minoru Suzuki w/mgr. 'Playboy' Gary Hart to the Crippler Crossface when Suzuki passed out. (14:36). After the match, Destroyer took off his own match to reveal Benoit. Before the start of the match, Hart threw a powder in the Destroyers' face then ordered Suzuki to work on the masked man when the bell rang. This Destroyer took a hell of a beating when he was kicked out of the ring. This Destroyer went under the ring. Hart went to the floor & got pulled under the ring. The Destroyer emerged from the opposite side & ambushed the distracted Susuki who was looking for his manager. The Destroyer locked in the Crippler Crossface to get the submission win. Afterwards, the winning Destroyer unmasked as Chris Benoit as another Destroyer came out from under the ring to reveal himself as Chirs Candido. Benoit shook hands with Candido as they left the ring together.

4. 4 Man Tag Team Match. The Brisco Brothers (Jack & Gerald) were handed a tough loss a the hands of the Minnesota Wrecking Crew (Gene, Lars & Ole only two can wrestle). (17:55). Gene Anderson, who was acting as the licensed manager, leaned through the ropes to nail Jack with a foreign object. The groggy Brisco was an easy set up for Lars; hammerlock submission on Brisco. The Brisco's came out with many quick tags & worked over the legs of both Lars & Ole. Gene's constant distraction finally turned the tide in the Anderson's favor.

5. UWA Women's World's Title Match. (Champion): Sasha Banks retained her title over (Chall):UWF Women's World's Champion 'Queen of Suplexes' Nicole Savoy with the Bank Statement. (12:11). The champ appeared to not take the challenger seriously until Nicole took Sasha down to stretch her out. The champ stalled to try to kill the challenger's advantage. The move frusted her. Savoy hit Banks with a series of suplexs near the end but Banks' long legs allowed her to get under the rope & force the break each time. The champ nailed the challenger with a vicious DDT to set up her finisher.
After the match, the loud mouth Banks put down all the women in the UWF & said none of them could lace up her boots. From out of the crowd comes the female Muta who slides in behind the UWA champ. Sasha turns around to a couple of chops & a kick to the gut before bailing out of the ring & running back to the dressing room. The fans really got into Kana & Banks in the ring again.

6. UWF World's Tag Team Title Match. (Champs: 'Bruiser' Brody & Stan 'Lariat' Hansen retained belts over (Challs); the Asian Assassins Kenta Kobashi & Mitsuharu Misawa w/mgr. 'Playboy' Gary Hart. Hart's impressive tag team worked over Brody early in the match, trapping him in their corner. A couple of punches, Bruiser got free to tag Stan. The Lariat had Hart & his Assassins regroup outside the ring where Brody made a house call banging the Asians head together. The match went back-and-forth until the end with all 4 participants getting near pins on each other. Hansen nailed a distracted Kobashi with the Lariat for the 1-2-3. (17:33). After the match, Hart pulled out a black jack to use on the tag champs with securtiy coming down to separate them.

7. Return UWF World's Heavyweight Title Rematch. (Champ): Bill Goldberg lost the belt to (Chall): Ken Shamrock following a series of belly-to--belly suplexs by the challenger to take the belt. (14:09). Started out with each man trying to power over the other with little success. The champ went to some spears to slow down the challenger who worked on the champ's legs. Shamrock took advantage of a mishap to Goldberg when Bill stumbled doing a leap frog & pulled a muscle in his back while trying to avoid falling out of the ring. Bill was was in serious trouble as Ken moved in like a mongoose on a cobra. Goldberg's attempts at hitting the jack hammer on Shamrock lack their usual punch due to his back trouble. A couple of brutal body slams from the challenger set up the eventual victory. The building exploded with cheers from the fans who was the company's major title change hands. After the match, Goldberg shook hands with Shamrock & told him he would be back for the belt.
An exasperated Elvira gets in the ring to interview the new hunky UWF World's Heavyweight Champion Ken Shamrock while the fans a whopping it up.

8. Texas Death Rules Match. No DQ! No TIme Limit! No Count Out. Pin falls do not count! The winner must render his opponent unable to beat a 10 count to win the match! 'Cowboy' Bill Watts defeated Fritz Von Erich in a bloody brawl inside & outside of the ring. (10:31). In a match that did not disappoint, Von Erich ambushed Watts on his way to the ring with several chair shots to the back. Once inside, Fritz put the boots to Bill winning the first fall with the Iron Claw. The Cowboy managed to beat the 10-count to get up and nailed the Iron Claw master in the groin with a kick from a cowboy boot. Now both men had one fall which really did not matter. More punching & kicking from both men as the bloody rreally began to flow. A staggering Von Erich tried to hit Watts with the chair again. Bill ducked & Fritz hit the top turnbuckle with the chair. However the chair bounced off & hit Von Erich in the face. Watts picked up the Iron Claw master for the Oklahoma Stampede, slamming him on top of the steel chair! Von Erich could not beat the 10 count. The Cowboy was the winner!!!
As the PPV comes to a close, Solie & Stewart are joined by Caruso & Elvia who apparently really likes Shamrock. Gordon signs off reminding the fans to tune in next Saturday for the fallout from the PPV.
