the Independence Arena in Charlotte, NC.
Non-Televised Dark Matches
1. Single Match. Prof. Dale Lewis 15-minute time limit draw with The Professional (Doug Gilbert).
2. Non-Title Women's Match. NWA Women's World's Champ Gail Kim d. Velvet Sky (of Beautiful People) with Eat Defeat. (13:21). Other BP stablemates Angelina Love & Maidson Rayne jumped in followed by World's Women's Tag Team Champions Tegan Nox & Dakota Kai.
3. 4 Man Tag Team Match. 'Dirty' Dick Slater & 'Ace' Bob Orton Jr. w/mgr. James J. Dillon 'no contest' with Dick the Bruiser & the Crusher. (8:21).
Pay-Per-View Matches
We are joined by the announcing duo of Jim Ross & Les Thatcher welcoming the fans to season ending pay per view of the NWA Championship Wrestling for the year 2021. Joining them is ring announcer Christy Hemme & backstage interviewer Charly Caruso. While the ladies take their places, Ross says at the end of the show NWA Commissioner Jim Barnett will have a very special announcement concerning the NWA.
1. Single Match. Bob Roop 15-minute time limit draw with Bob Backlund. (15:00).
2. 6 Man Tag Team Match. NWA United States Heavyweight Champion Paul Orndorff, Jake 'the Snake' Roberts & Danny Hodge beat Vampiro, NWA World's Junior Heavyweight Champion Dean Malenko & Waldo Von Erich w/mgr. 'Playboy' Gary Hart. (14:31). Roberts DDT on Malenko after he took care of Vampiro.
3. NWA United States Tag Team Title Match. (Champions): The Brain Busters (Arne Anderson & Tully Blanchard) w/mgr. Rock Hunter retained by pin fall over (Challs): Wahoo McDaniel & Peter Maivia. (10:36). The challengers came slose to upsetting the champions several times. Anderson with gord buster on McDaniel after Blanchard hit Wahoo in the back of the head with a foreign object.
4. MUW Women's World's Title Match. (Champ): Asuka retained her title by DQ over (Chall): Wendi Richter. (13:56). Despite the size advantage by the challenger, the champion frustrated her with her hit & run tactics. Richter finally threw Asuka over the top rope in frustration. The angry champ came back into the ring after the match & launched an assault that sent the challenger back to the dressing room.
5. NWA World's Heavyweight Title Match. (Champ): Greg 'the Hammer' Valentine w/mgr. James J. Dillon dropped the belt to (Chall): 'Ravishing' Rick Rude w/mgr. Rock Hunter. (15:22). Close match early on until Valentine & Dillon got into an argument with Greg shoving JJ off the apron. Rude, who was limping on one leg courtesy of Valentine, took the advantage & hit the Perfect Plex on the champ for the 1-2-3 victory.
6. Texas Death Rules Match. No Disq! No Time Limit! First man to win 3 out of 5 falls is the winner. Abdullah the Butcher beat the Sheik seconded by 'Playboy' Gary Hart. (10:11). Butcher won the first, second & fifth fall by count out when a bloody Sheik was assisted by Hart back to the dressing room. Both men used foreign objects on each other in a real blood fest.
7. UWA Universal Tag Team Title Match. (Champs): Strike Force (Tito Santana & Rick Martel) retained titles over (Challs): NWA World's Tag Team Title Match. (Champs): 'Bruiser' Brody & Stan 'Lariat' Hansen. (13:21). Short match with Brody brawling with Santana outside of the ring. Inside, legal participants Martel & Hansen collided in the middle of the ring. Rick beat the 10 count to get to his feet then covered Stan for the win.
8.UWA Universal Heavyweight Title Match. (Champ): "Universal Treasure" Nicholas Aldis w/valet Kamille York defeated (Chall): Nikita Koloff with the sharpshooter. (18:51). Close match early on with the challenger using his strength to dominate the champion. However, Aldis soon countered Koloff's offense to take the advantage. Koloff had Aldis in the ropes & was flipped out by the champ. The challenger hit his back hard on the outside apron. Nick rolled Nikita back into the ring & locked on the sharpshooter to get the submission victory.
Back at the announcer's desk, NWA Commissioner Jim Barnett is with Jim & Les to make this announcement. This was the last PPV of the NWA as they are closing the NWA down. Replacing the NWA will be an all women's wrestling promotion. We ask all the loyal wrestling fans to who have supported us this year to follow the new promotion. All the women on the NWA roster will move over to the WWWA promotion. The show closes for the final time.
