Ring of Honor Wrestling Presents:
SUPERCARD II
Friday, June 26th, 2020
Chicago, Illinois USA
Announcers: Tony Schiavone & Taz
We are live an on the air for SuperCard II as the official Ring of Honor broadcast team of Tony Schiavone and Taz welcome us to tonight’s event! Schiavone is right down to business as he confirms last week’s reports that Keith Lee has suffered a severe knee injury that has knocked him out of tonight’s match, but confirms that Ring of Honor World Heavyweight Champion, Seth Rollins is in the building tonight and will address the fans at home. Taz then hypes his two “Can’t Miss Matches of the Evening” by reminding the fans watching at home that we have a No Holds Barred Match between Kurt Angle and Ken Kennedy tonight, as well as the crowning of an all new champion, when we have a 7-Man Elimination Gauntlet. With that, we quickly head to Justin Roberts who is in the middle of the ring, ready to call the first match of the night.

Match #1: Singles Match
Big Show vs. Bobby Lashley
We start off tonight’s event with a huge match (both in size and nature) as Big Show and Bobby Lashley look to settle their score once and for all. Both men bring the hurt to each other as the commentary team recap the origin of this feud from the first episode of RoH Wrestling right up until this very moment. Big Show manages to start the match off in control of Lashley, who seems very hesitant to spend too much time within the reach of his opponent, presumably fearing another KO Punch. Lashley does manages to use his speed to take control of the match, and begins to inflict some punishment on his opponent, as Lashley uses Big Show’s lack of stamina to his advantage. The end of this bout does come with some controversy though, as Lashley looks to land a Spear on Big Show, but instead runs in to a beautifully countered KO Punch that send him staggering back, and outside the ring to the floor.
With Lashley knocked out, and Big Show too exhausted to try and pull him back in the ring, Big Show has to settle for a count out victory as Lashley is unable to answer the referee’s 10-count. Big Show celebrates an underwhelming victory over his opponent as Tony and Taz both comment that based on the ending of this match, this feud may not be over after all.
Winner: Big Show by count out @ 14:37.

Following the match, we head backstage to see Drew Gulak warming up for tonight’s 7-Man Gauntlet match, when suddenly, Kurt Angle is seen walking in to view. Angle stops Gulak in order to commend him for being a worth adversary in their match last week, before offering him the best of luck in the Gauntlet Match, calling Gulak his favourite to win it all. Gulak is at a loss for words, but quickly thanks Angle and wishes him luck tonight as well, saying he hopes that he makes Ken Kennedy pay tonight. Angle tells him he will before saying “It’s True, It’s Damn True!” and walking out of view from the camera. The camera focus back on Drew Gulak who is now looking more confident as he goes back to stretching in preparation for tonight’s match.

Match #2: Tag Team Match
Austin Aries & Brian Kendrick vs. The American Wolves
Thanks to a DQ victory over Brian Kendrick last week on RoH Wrestling, Eddie Edwards not only gets his opportunity to get his hands on both Kendrick and Austin Aries, but will have someone watching his back as Davey Richards makes his RoH debut alongside his long time tag team partner. This match has more of a “Welcome back Wolves” feel as Richards and Edwards spent most of the match exposing the flaws in Aries and Kendrick’s game, which would lead many to believe that although the match was entertaining, it won’t be the last exchange between these two teams. Nothing too special here, but Edwards gets the pinfall over Austin Aries after a miscommunication between Aries and Kendrick results in Austin Aries being put down with the Force of Nature for the pinfall victory.
Winners: The American Wolves by pinfall @ 10:17.

As we await for the participants in the previous match to exit ringside, we are treated to a video package recapping the announcement of the Pure Championship, and the superstars who qualified for tonight’s match.

Match #3: 7-Man Gauntlet Match
Ring of Honor Pure Championship
Drew Gulak vs. Matt Taven vs. Trent Barretta vs. Chuck Taylor vs. Rhyno vs. Mike Bennett vs. ???
Entrant #1:
The music of the Best Friends hits as both Trent and Chuck Taylor make their way out to the ring, but it is Trent Barretta who is introduced by Justin Roberts as the official first entrant of the match. Chuck stands in the ring with Trent, trying to hype up his best friend and tag team partner as they both await the introduction of the next entrant in the Gauntlet match.
Entrant #2:
The music of the Best Friends play on the arena speaker once again, and Trent and Chuck look at each other in complete shock as Justin Roberts then introduces Chuck Taylor as the second entrant in the match. Audible laughing can be heard from both Taz and Tony Schiavone as the expressions of both Best Friends members appears to be just too much for them to handle. The bell rings as neither Trent nor Chuck seem to want to get physical with the other. We have about 2-3 minutes of comedy with both men seemingly teasing that they’re about to attack the other before backing down as Tony Schiavone estimates that we’ll never get passed the first two entrants in this match while continuing to laugh uncontrollably. Finally it looks like Trent and Chuck are about to tie up, but instead they hug in the middle of the ring.
The quickly and without warning, Trent Barretta swings himself behind his partner and rolls him up for the surprising 3 count!
Chuck Taylor is eliminated!
Entrant #3:
Matt Taven’s music plays as he makes his way to the ring as the next combatant in this gauntlet match. Taven is quick to pounce on Trent Barretta and does a number on him relatively quickly, bringing a barrage of offense to Barretta that he is just unable to keep up with, before finally seeing an opening to get some offense of his own in. Trent scores multiple near falls as it looks like he may have the upperhand on Matt Taven in this match, but ultimately it’s Matt Taven who manages to move on in this gauntlet as he reverses a Dudebuster DDT in to the Climax for the pinfall.
Trent Barretta is eliminated!
Entrant #4:
It’s Rhyno! The Man Beast comes charging down to the ring and instantly catches a right hand from Matt Taven. This causes the referee to step in, as we are reminded of the rules of this match, forbidding closed fist punches to the face. After a warning from the referee, the match is able to restart and Taven is completely flatted by Rhyno who quickly nails him with a Gore!
Rhyno pins Taven as the referee starts the 3-count, but Taven manages to get a foot on the ropes just before the 3, breaking the pinfall. Taz reminds us now that Taven only has 2 rope breaks remaining. Slowly getting back to his feet, Taven suffers some punishment from Rhyno, who is looking good in this match so far. Taven is able to get back to his feet after a well-timed elbow to the stomach of Rhyno opens up the match a little, but Taven, not thinking once again levels Rhyno with another closed fisted punch. Once again the referee steps in to intervene, and this time deducts another rope break from Taven, meaning he now has 1-more for the remainder of this gauntlet as the commentary team explain that if Taven is penalized without any rope breaks to give, he will be disqualified. Looking for another opportunity to capitalize on the match stalling, Rhyno looks for another Gore, but Taven sidesteps it, and puts Rhyno away with the Climax instead.
Rhyno is eliminated!
Entrant #5:
Drew Gulak makes his way down to the ring as an excited Taz makes sure to let everyone at home know that this is his personal favourite pick to win the match. Once in the ring, Gulak builds off his phenomenal match with Kurt Angle last week to put on yet another example of grade A wrestling against Matt Taven who makes a more than worthy adversary. Both men do their best to try and put the other one away, but neither man has any quit in them as they both Gulak loses 2 rope breaks in the ongoing exchange. Matt Taven also loses his final rope break, when he needs to grab the ropes to escape an Ankle Lock attempt by Gulak. Both men continue to take it to each other with Tony and Taz commentating that an arena full of fans would be on their feet right now. Eventually, Taven see’s his opportunity for a Climax, but Gulak is able to wrestle is way out of it and instead manages to get Matt Taven in the Gu-Lock!
Taven is close enough to the ropes to manage to grab one, but the referee does not break the hold as Matt Taven is officially out of rope breaks. Trapped in the Gu-Lock and unable to break free, Matt Taven has no choice but to tap out!
Matt Taven has been eliminated!
Entrant #6:
Mike Bennett makes his way out to the ring with the biggest smile on his face as Gulak watches on. Once in the ring, Bennett takes off his jacket, but instead of wanting to start the match with Gulak, he heads over to Justin Roberts and demands to be handed a microphone.
Bennett congratulates his friend on an amazing performance against Matt Taven, telling him he’s officially eliminated all of the “tough competition” that could stand in Mike Bennett’s way. Bennett tells Gulak that he’s done a great job, but now is the time to lay down and let Mike Bennett pin him as they’d discussed backstage. Gulak thinks about it, but tells Bennett that he doesn’t want to lay down, telling him that he’d like an opportunity to earn a Championship himself. This doesn’t sit well with Mike Bennett who angrily tell Gulak that he is his best friend and it’s his job to make sure that Mike Bennett walks out of here with the Pure Championship, before tell Gulak he is selfish. Seemingly having a personal conflict with the decision in front of him, Drew Gulak lays down looking defeated, as Mike Bennett smiles. As Bennett places his foot on Gulak’s chest, he commends him on “knowing his place”. This seems to have struck a chord with Gulak, who quickly grabs Bennett’s leg, and sweeps him to the ground before locking him in the Gu-Lock, forcing a surprised Mike Bennett to quickly tap out!
Mike Bennett has been eliminated!
Entrant #7:
Entrant #7:
Unfamiliar music plays from the arena speakers as Steve Corino appears from behind the curtain, standing at the top of the stage, but not dressed to wrestle. Taz and Tony Schiavone both wonder who Corino thinks he’s going to beat Drew Gulak while in a suit, but it appears that Corino may have other plans. Corino locks eyes with a focused Drew Gulak, before stepping to the side and turning his attention back towards the curtain.
IT’S LANCE ARCHER! The Murderhawk Monster has finally arrived in Ring of Honor and he is the surprise final entrant in this match! Archer marches down to the ring with Steve Corino in toe as a stunned, but still focused Drew Gulak looks on in anticipation for the fight of his life. Before Archer can enter the ring though, Gulak is jumped from behind by Mike Bennett who had not yet left the ringside area following his elimination. Bennett takes Gulak down with a hard forearm to the back of the neck before repeatedly stomping on the back and neck of Gulak. Bennett shifts his focus over to Archer who is now in the ring and wisely backs up, deciding it might be the smartest idea to now leave as opposed to try and fight a man who towers over him. With Bennett now retreating to the back, Archer turns his attention back over to his opponent Drew Gulak, who is slowly trying to get back to his feet. Gulak gets to one knee, but Archer is waiting for him and plants him down with a big boot! He then picks Gulak back up and slams him to the mat again with the EBD Claw!
Archer holds the claw on the face off Gulak, but Gulak refuses to tap out and is seemingly fighting with everything he can to not pass out either. See Gulak continue to fight to stay in this match, Corino is heard yelling orders at Archer who on Corino’s command releases the hold. Archer then picks up Gulak and headbutts him so hard, it causes Gulak to begin to bleed, before raising him up in the air, and sending him crashing down to the mat with the Blackout for the 3-count victory to win this Gauntlet Match and become the first ever RoH Pure Champion!
Winner & NEEEEEWWWWW RoH Pure Champion: Lance Archer by pinfall @ 25:17 (Total Match Time)
Lance Archer stands in the ring holding his newly won RoH Pure Championship high in the air as Taz comments on his monstrous debut before speculating what the nature his relationship with Steve Corino is. Tony Schiavone commends Drew Gulak for coming up short, and mentions that he may now have his sights set on new target in his former friend Mike Bennett.
*****
We head backstage to see the smiling face of Ring of Honor World Heavyweight Champion, Seth Rollins along with the other members of Age of the Fall. Rollins comments about being able to enjoy the night off tonight, before turning his attention to Brodie Lee and Erick Rowan. Rollins tells his two disciples that he expects they take care of the little problem they’ve been having with the Motor City Machine Guns, before telling Jimmy Jacobs that he expects him to make sure they complete their task tonight, and not to be a distraction. Jacobs assures Rollins that Brodie and Rowan will be victorious tonight, to which Rollins simply tell Jacobs “They Better, or it’s on you.” Before walking off, leaving a worried Jacobs behind him.
*****
We are back at ringside with RoH General Manager Jeff Jarrett, who says he’s been asked by Eric Bischoff to come out here in order to sort out the status of the RoH Tag Team Championships once and for all. Jarrett reminds those watching at home that Jay Lethal was given until tonight to find a replacement partner or else he has to forfeit the Championships. Jarrett asks Lethal to please make his way out from the back so we can get his answer.
The music of The North plays from the arena speaker as the Canadian tag team make their surprise appearance here tonight, with both Tony Schiavone and Taz questioning how they were able to get across the border with the COVID-19 travel ban still in effect.
Ethan Page is handed a microphone and tells Jarrett that they aren’t Jay Lethal, but they are here to claim what is rightfully theirs. Page inform Jarrett that the rumour has been floating around the back all night that Jay Lethal was unable to find a partner, so he tells Jarrett that instead of wasting any more of his precious time, he should just strip Lethal of the titles, and award them to the only undefeated active tag team in Ring of Honor, “Canada’s Greatest Tag Team” The North!
SCUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!
The music of SCU blare through the arena speakers as out from the curtain come Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky to the surprise to everyone in the ring as well as Tony and Taz!
Christopher Daniels is the man to speak on behalf of SCU and tells Ethan Page that he needs to take a hike, because SCU was brought to RoH for the purpose of being crowned the new RoH tag Team Champions! Daniels informs Jeff Jarrett that they were brought in to the company by Eric Bischoff with the intent that they would be named the new champions if Jay Lethal was unable to find himself a partner by tonight. Ethan Page isn’t happy and steps towards Christopher Daniels, but is backed off slightly by both Kazarian and Scorpio Sky. Enraged, Page demands Jeff Jarrett do something, but Jarrett informs Page that Daniels is indeed right, and Eric Bischoff did tell him that SCU were to be named champions if Lethal was unable to find himself a partner. Jarrett then pauses, before explaining to the 5-men in the ring that we have yet to even hear from Jay Lethal, so he once again asks him to come out to the ring before he can make an official decision.
Lethal comes out alone, but dressed to wrestle. He mentions how quickly RoH wanted to replace him as a champion, having brought in SCU before even seeing if he was able to find a partner. Lethal says he’s got some bad news for everyone, and that news is that he does indeed have a new tag team partner. In the interest of fairness, and because Lethal hasn’t had a match in some time, he proposes a 3-way tag team match right now, stating that he’s more than happy to give the teams in the ring an opportunity to try and win the titles tonight. Liking the sound of that, Jarrett agrees and makes the match official starting right now, before asking Jay Lethal to tell him who his new partner is.
MVP comes out from behind the curtain and looks fired up as he and Lethal head down towards the ring. A referee soon comes running down behind him as it looks like we’ve gotten ourselves and impromptu Tag Team Championship match!
Match #4: Triple Threat Tag Team Match
The North vs. SCU w/ Christopher Daniels vs. Jay Lethal & MVP
Ring of Honor Tag Team Championship
This match is fought under triple threat rules, meaning 1 member of each team will be allowed in the ring. Scorpio Sky and Frankie Kazarian are in action for SCU tonight as Christopher Daniels watches from the outside. This match is incredible for how quickly it was thrown together, especially since half the participants in the match hadn’t been seen in RoH until now. The North play the role of the arrogant heel tag team in this one, while SCU is the clear babyface and the new Lethal/MVP team are playing the neutral role, though more favouring the heel side in this one. Each time gets their time to shine in this match as RoH is clearly trying to put more focus on a tag team division that has last some steam in recent months. Lethal and MVP were very impressive in their debut as a team, proving Jay Lethal has the ability to work with just about anyone in a tag match and make it look flawless. The end of this match comes after Ethan Page is dumped out of the ring by SCU, leaving Josh Alexander alone to take the SCU L8R!
SCU aren’t able to get the pinfall on Josh Alexander though, as MVP and Lethal quickly pounce on SCU, sending Kazarian shoulder first in to the turnbuckle, which leaves Scorpio Sky all alone to get hit with the Lethal Injection followed by the Ballin’ Elbow drop for the pin.
Winners & NEEEEWWWW RoH Tag Team Champions: Jay Lethal & MVP by pinfall @ 17:32.
*****
We head backstage to see RoH correspondent Alicia Atout is live in the building tonight, and she is standing by with the first ever Ring of Honor Pure Champion, Lance Archer who is flanked of course by Steve Corino. Alicia congratulates Archer on winning the Pure Championship in his RoH debut here tonight, before asking him for some comments on his match. Archer goes to speak, but instead it’s Steve Corino who takes control of the interview. He tells Alicia that Lance Archer isn’t here to “wrestle” in matches, he’s here to systematically destroy superstars on his path to becoming the most dominant superstar in all of professional wrestling. Corino compliments the size and power of Archer, before reminding Alicia that he’s also a highly intelligent man, which made sense as to why he chose Steve Corino to help guide him in Ring of Honor. Corino says he waited months at home with no word from the company after being removed from commentary for simply defending himself, but now he’s back as a mentor for Lance Archer, and it’s the Ring of Honor roster that is going to need to defend themselves from the wrath of the Murderhawk Monster! Corino walks off, signalling for Archer to follow him, but not before Archer steps towards Alicia, backing her up as she looks on terrified. Archer leans in and simply smiles and here menacingly before walking off with Corino.

Match #5: Tag Team Match
Motor City Machine Guns vs. Age of the Fall w/ Jimmy Jacobs
Another great match in what has been an extremely entertaining beginning to this feud between RoH veteran tag team the Motor City Machine Guns, and the dominant force of Age of the Falls two largest disciples, Brodie Lee and Erick Rowan. This match does not disappoint as both teams are able to put on an incredibly entertaining match even with their very obvious size differences. The Motor City Machine Guns do a great job of controlling the pace for long portions of this contest, using their speed and frequent tags to keep the slower Erick Rowan from being able to tag out. He is eventually able to use his sheer strength and power to take control long enough to tag in Brodie Lee who helps turn the tide in favour of Age of the Fall for some time. Ultimately the MVP of this match is the man at ringside, Jimmy Jacobs who distracts the referee once Sabin and Shelley are able to find themselves in control once again, which allows Brodie Lee to sneak in and level an unsuspecting Alex Shelley with the Discuss Lariat, before knocking Chris Sabin off the apron to the floor.
This gives Erick Rowan the time needed to pick Alex Shelley back up and quickly plant him back down to the mat with the Iron Claw slam for the pinfall victory as Age of the Fall pick up yet another victory over the Motor City Machine Guns in this budding rivalry.
Winners: Age of the Fall by pinfall @ 15:72
Jacobs enters the ring to celebrate with Lee and Rowan, before quickly rallying the troops to continue their assault on Alex Shelley. All three men begin to stomp on the downed Shelley as Sabin pulls himself back up on to the apron, and springboards off the ropes trying to come to the aid of his partner, only to eat a clothesline from Brodie Lee for his troubles. With both Sabin and Shelley down, Jacobs points up to the rafters as a rope slowly comes down, signalling he wants to crucify the Machine Guns as both Lee and Rowan make sure their opponents stay down thanks to stereo running sentons on the downed superstars. As Rowan begins to pull the rope towards Alex Shelley, an unfamiliar sound begins to play through the arena speakers…..
“Where have all the good men gone
And where are all the gods?
Where's the streetwise Hercules to fight the rising odds?
Isn't there a white knight upon a fiery steed?
Late at night I toss and I turn
And I dream of what I need
I NEED A HERO
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the end of the night
He's gotta be strong
And he's gotta be fast
And he's gotta be fresh from the fight
I NEED A HERO!”
Suddenly out from the back comes Chris Hero who looks to be in the best shape of his career as he makes a b-line down to the ring in and attempt to save Sabin and Shelley! Hero slides in to the ring and catches an oncoming Erick Rowan by quickly tugging down on the ropes as Rowan rushes towards him, sending him tumbling to the outside! He then catches Brodie Lee as he tries to rush Hero, grabbing him by the head and using his momentum to send him head first in to the corner which quickly knocks him off his feet, before absolutely leveling Jimmy Jacobs with a Roaring Elbow that causes Taz to swear he just saw a tooth fly out of Jacobs’ mouth!
Lee quickly gets to his feet as he stands face to face with Chris Hero, and although Lee does still have the size advantage, he decides that now is not the time to trade shots with Chris Hero and instead elects to exit the ring as Erick Rowan reaches under the bottom ropes and drags the lifeless body of Jimmy Jacobs out of the ring, throwing him over his shoulder and carrying him to the back as Age of the Fall seemingly want nothing to do with Chris Hero at this moment. Hero checks on Sabin and Shelley who he slowly helps us to his feet as Tony Schiavone can be heard saying the sides are now even in the feud with Age of the Fall thanks to an impressive debut appearance by Chris Hero.
*****
We then jump backstage to see a limo rolling up to the arena, but we are quickly ushered back to ringside before anyone can exit the vehicle, being left to wonder who has just arrived at the building this late in to tonight’s broadcast?
*****
BURN IT DOOOOOOWWWNNNN!
Ring Honor World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins makes his way out to the ring, still as happy as he was when we saw him earlier in the night as he heads down the ramp and grabs a microphone from out of the hands of Justin Roberts.
Rollins says tonight has been an incredible night for Age of the Fall as Brodie Lee and Erick Rowan have once again beaten the Motor City Machines Guns, and most importantly, Keith Lee couldn’t make it to the arena for this match tonight, which means that Seth Rollins gets the night off! Rollins tells the fans watching at home that he’s been able to sit in his office, which he reminds us all he has because he owns the building, and just enjoy tonight’s show without a single care in the world. Rollins then states that he had planned on coming out here and offering to wrestle his best friend Jimmy Jacobs just so everyone at home could see the “Saviour of RoH” in action tonight, but due to the heinous actions of Chris Hero, that is no longer possible, as Jacobs is still knocked out backstage. Smiling arrogantly, Seth Rollins looks in to the camera and sarcastically wishes that Keith Lee get well soon, before stating he has zero intention to watch Kurt Angle embarrass himself tonight, and will be exiting the arena momentarily, telling GM Jeff Jarrett to make sure to lock the doors when he’s done, stating the keys are on his desk.
Rollins drops the microphone and goes to leave the ring, but before he can, RoH owner Eric Bischoff appears on the jumbotron. Bischoff thanks Seth Rollins once again for allowing us to continue to use his building as RoH continues to march on in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. He then apologizes for being unable to make it to the show as Keith Lee’s injury has made his job extremely difficult over the past week, and Eric has had to head back to Toronto in order to sort some things out from the RoH office. Smirking, Eric says he’s sure Rollins is wondering why Eric Bischoff is in Toronto and for that matter, why The North and Alicia Atout have also shown up live in Chicago tonight. Bischoff tells Rollins that he may have saved the RoH promotion by allowing us to broadcast each week from his building, but what he hasn’t done was save the ratings. Bischoff acknowledges that ratings have dropped since RoH was forced to do shows in a smaller venue and without and audience, and as a responsible owner, he needed to do something to fix that, but he didn’t know how to do so until right after Keith Lee’s injury was revealed. Bischoff says that money talks, and with certain “donations” made on behalf of RoH, he was able to get a temporary clearance to move most of the RoH roster that has been stuck in Canada over to the United Stated for the time being, meaning effective immediately, RoH will now have it’s entire roster here in the US! Bischoff tells Rollins that he has some good news for him as well, as he has managed to secure him an opponent to defend his RoH World Heavyweight Championship against tonight, and it’s someone who has waiting a long time for an opportunity, before saying that man should be arriving any minute now….
We quickly pan backstage to the limo that had arrived moments earlier as the vehicle shuts off, and the driver slowly gets out, revealing himself as none other than Edge!
YOU THINK YOU KNOW ME!
Rollins can’t believe it! He looks on in utter shock as Edge makes his way down to the ring looking hyper focused, and ready to finally get his shot at the RoH World Heavyweight Championship!
Match #6: Singles Match
Edge vs. Seth Rollins ©
Ring of Honor World Heavyweight Championship
We have a few moments of protest from Seth Rollins, who tries to argue with the referee about not being prepared for this match to no avail. Once the bell rings, we are treated to an instant classic as Edge comes right out of the gates with a huge Spear on an unsuspecting Rollins, but is only able to get a 2-count out of it.
Edge controls the beginning of this match, bringing the attack on an unprepared Rollins who is constantly trying to retreat while he gains some of his composure. Rollins is eventually able to get himself in to the offensive side of the match once he uses a blind spot of the official in order to get a thumb to the eye of Edge with backs him off enough to create some space for Rollins to attack. Rollins spends some time focusing his attacks on the surgically repaired neck of his opponent as the commentary team remind us all of Edge’s extensive injury history during his long career at the top of the industry. With Rollins now firmly in control of the match, he manages to land a Revolution-Knee on Edge, but Edge kicks up at the count of 2!
With Edge still down on the mat, and Rollins not wanting to lose any momentum, you taunts to Edge to “Go to Sleep” before setting up in the corner for a Stomp. Rollins charges at Edge, who is alert enough to roll away quickly causing Rollins to land awkwardly and stumble forwards. Springing back to his feet, Edge quickly grabs Rollins and plants him down with the Edgecution.
Edge elects against trying to cover the champion and instead, he waits for Rollins to slowly get to his feet as he readies himself for another Spear. Charging towards Rollins, Edge goes for the Spear, but Rollins moves sending him crashing shoulder first in to the ring post. Seeing his moment to attack again, Rollins rushes Edge and grabs him, sending him in to the ropes, but Edge ducks a clothesline attempt and manages to hit Rollins with a second Spear!
Edge covers Rollins as the referee begins the count.
1…………………
2…………………..
NOOOOOOOO! Rollins gets a shoulder up at the last second, managing to just barely save his Championship reign for the time being. At this, the match slows down a little as both superstars play on the toll of almost 20 minutes of pure action has taken on their bodies. As we begin to wind down to the final moments of the match, a missed Avada Kedavra from Rollins, allows Edge to go for an Unprettier as an homage to his best friend Christian, but Rollins reverses it at the last minute, kicks Edge in the stomach and put him away with The Stomp for the victory as Seth Rollins has officially defeated all 4 members of Team Angle from the first SuperCard event.
WINNNER & STILLLLLLL RoH World Heavyweight Champion: Seth Rollins by pinfall @ 25:44
*****
Following Rollins’ defense over Edge, we get a video package starting with an old church while some eerie gospel hymns are heard in the background. Soon the bellowing sound of loud footsteps are heard appearing to be walking down an empty hallway as the view of the camera switches to an altar. The footstep then begin to appears louder and louder as it becomes evident that whomever is walking, is getting closer to the altar. We then see a hooded figure walk up to the altar and raises their hands up in the air, almost looking like a praying motion. The hands then go towards the hood as the camera view switches to behind this person. You can see hand and wrist tape visible from the sleeves of the garment as the person proceeds to lower their hood, but the video feed cuts out before they can do so.
The screen turns black with the words “COMING SOON” flashing across the screen before it fades in to blackness.

Main Event: No Holds Barred
Ken Kennedy vs. Kurt Angle
Angle is hot out of the gate as he charges Kennedy, wanting to literally rip him apart from the get go. Kennedy, knowing he was walking in to a fight, is ready for it though as both men begin to brawl in the middle of the ring. It doesn’t take long for this match to spill to the outside as both men are hell bent on trying to destroy each other. Kennedy takes the early advantage after managing to send Angle in to the steel steps, but Angle who is seemingly running off of pure adrenaline manages to quickly regain himself and use his wrestling background to take down Kennedy on the floor as he begins to level him with hard right hands. After inflicting some punishment on Kennedy, Angle rolls him back in to the ring, but Kennedy is up to his feet quickly and manages to get the jump on Angle once again as he slides back in the ring. After inflicting some punishment of his own on Angle, Kennedy mocks Angles signature taunt while he waits for him to get to his feet. This appears to have angered Kurt even more as once he gets up, he quickly charges Kennedy, catching him off guard and executing a picture perfect Belly-to-Belly Suplex.
The straps are already down on Angle’s singlet, not even halfway through the match at this point as Kurt shows he clearly means business tonight. Angle goes for an Ankle lock, but Kennedy manages to grab the ropes before Angle can even lock in the hold. Knowing there is no disqualification in this match, Angle does not release Kennedy’s ankle, and instead pulls him off the ropes, but Kennedy quickly kicks him in the stomach, staggering him for a moment before getting to his feet and nailing Angle with the Mic Check!
Kennedy pins Kurt, but it’s going to take a lot more than that to keep Angle down for 3. Both men spend the next 10 minutes or so trading offense and near falls, as this match becomes more and more aggressive. Finally with Angle appearing more frustrated than before, we finally get our first weapon introduced in to this match as Angle tosses a steel chair in to the ring before proceeding to smash it over the back of Ken Kennedy. Angle then slowly takes his time inflicting pain on the back of Kennedy with that chair, clearly enjoying every second of it as the once overly cocky Ken Kennedy is now looking terrified and beatable. Feeling satisfied with the amount of abuse he has caused to his opponent, Angle pulls Kennedy up to his feet and nails him with an Angle Slam.
Angle covers Kennedy who appears to be down for the 3 count, but it’s Kurt Angle who against his own better judgement decided to break the pinfall attempt, telling the referee he’s decided he isn’t satisfied enough. Angle can be heard between heavy right hands “That was for me, this is for my family!” as he continues to inflict more and more punishment on Kennedy who is now begging for forgiveness as he struggles to even defend himself at this point. Angle slowly picks apart his opponent for a few more minutes or so as Kennedy barely offers any defense at all. Seeing the state his opponent is in, Angle finally says he can end the match, and goes for another Angle Slam. This time though, Kennedy appears to have been playing possum somewhat, and catches an unsuspecting Angle with a lowblow, which Taz informs us is perfectly legal in a No Holds Barred match. Kennedy then gets back up to his feet and delivers another Mic Check, but this time right on the steel chair that Angle had previously used on Kennedy!
Kennedy pins Angle who is out cold, but this time it’s Ken Kennedy’s turn to break his own pinfall as he screams down to Angle “This is for you daughter!” Kennedy sits Angle up, before taking the steel chair and swinging it in to Angle’s head, causing Angle to fold on top of himself as blood pours visibly from a cut on the side of his head. Kennedy then continues to beat down on Angle as Kurt’s blood spills all over the ring, and the hands of Ken Kennedy, who now has that sadistic look back on his face. Just then, Kurt Angle’s daughter Kyra Angle is seen running down the ramp in tears, pleading with Ken Kennedy to stop attacking her father, but this just fuels Kennedy even more, as he sits Angle up again, before smashing the chair over his head while Kyra just watches bawling her eyes out. Kennedy then drops the chair on the mat, before dragging Angle’s lifeless body up to his feet and situating their positioning so that Kyra is forces to stare in to the eyes of Kennedy as he once more hits the Mic Check on the steel chair before covering Angle for the 3 count, while still staring at Kyra and at one point even blowing her a kiss.
Winner: Ken Kennedy by pinfall @ 33:11.
Kennedy celebrates his victory while Kyra Angle rolls in to the ring still sobbing as she cradles the motionless body of her father. Kennedy goes to exit the ring, when he notices Kyra and instead turns around. Smiling, Kennedy walks towards Kyra, who begins back away in terror, backing right in to the corner where she is now pinned by Ken Kennedy. Kennedy, still smiling holds out his arms as if he’s asking Kyra for a hug telling her “It’s okay, I’m here for you”. With nowhere to go as Kennedy closes in on her, Kyra closes her eyes and winces but is saved when her step-dad, RoH General Manager Jeff Jarrett comes charging down to the ring! Jarrett grabs Kennedy, spinning him around before proceeding to hit him with hard right hands, causing Kennedy to stagger back until he can manages to push Jarrett back far enough for Kennedy to roll out of the ring and retreat up the ramp. We sign off the air ending tonight’s SuperCard II event with shots of a smiling Ken Kennedy backing up the ramp, while an enraged Jeff Jarrett consoles his step-daughter in the ring.
