Cue the music! Cue the pyro! Another episode of RoH Wrestling is live on the air!
The commentary teams hypes tonight’s Main Event as we are going to crown our first Ring of Honor Tag Team Champions! They also announce that Eric Bischoff has a major announcement set for later tonight and speculate if it has something to do with recent rumours regarding the arrival of some new talent?
Match #1: Singles Match
Austin Aries vs. Jeff Jarrett
Aries is out looking much better than he did last week, but without his girlfriend Scarlett who we are told is not here tonight. The commentary team build this match as Aries blaming Jarrett for what happened last week, even though it was Elias who had started the initial physical confrontation. Jarrett manages to get quite a bit of offense in on Aries, but is distracted when Elias comes out on to the stage strumming his guitar. Elias is mic’d up and can be heard singing Jarrett’s theme song “With My Baby Tonight” which causes Jarrett to turn his attention to the stage. This would end up being the opening Aries needed as he catches Jarrett with a low blow while the referee isn’t looking and locks him in to the Last Chancery, forcing Jarrett to tap out.
Winner: Austin Aries by submission @ 12:32.
Aries celebrates and leaves the ring, passing by Elias without even acknowledging him and heading to the back. Elias stands on the stage for a few moments laughing at Jarrett who is still in the ring before heading to the back as well.

We head backstage to Keith Lee who is seen just hanging out in the backstage area speaking to a crew member. Just then a loud “HEY FELLA!” is heard as Sheamus appears from out of view of the camera. Lee and Sheamus show each other respect for the hard fought Main Event last week, before Sheamus tells Lee he wants a rematch. Not one to back down from a challenge, Keith Lee happily accepts and tells Sheamus he’ll go talk to Eric Bischoff about making it official for next week. Sheamus, happy with Lee’s response wishes him luck, but promises it will be different this time before walking away as we head back to the ringside action.

Match #2: Singles Match – 10-Minute Time Limit
Trent Barretta (w/ Chuck Taylor & Orange Cassidy) vs. Kevin Owens ©
Ring of Honor Television Championship
Trent Barretta gets his first singles opportunity in Ring of Honor, but it goes just about as well as recent run of tag matches have. Barretta does a great job in showcasing his wrestling ability by hanging in a match with Kevin Owens, but this match was the champions to win from the get go, and that exactly what happens as Owens is able to put Barretta away with the KO Stunner just after the 8-minute mark of this match. No interference from Chuck Taylor or Orange Cassidy in this match who simply provided support for Trent on the outside and help him to the back following his loss.
Winner & STIIILLLLLL RoH Television Champion: Kevin Owens by pinfall @ 8:07.

We see to a pre-taped video from Bobby Lashley. Lashley comments on the attack from Big Show 2 weeks ago and his unanswered call out last week. Lashley explains that due to Big Show’s “cheap shot” on Lashley, he needed to have emergency dental surgery that is going to keep him out of action for at least another week. Lashley begins to blame Big Show for lost wages due to him being out of action, completely refusing to acknowledge this is all due Lashley’s attempt to end Big Show career back in November. Lashley threatens legal action against Big Show if he lays his hands on him again outside of a sanctioned RoH match before vowing to put Big Show away for good once he’s ready to return to action. Great promo from Lashley putting himself over as the arrogant heel who was ready to make any excuse as he heads in to a feud with the first opponent who has a real chance of overpowering him.

We return from commercial to see Ring of Honor owner Eric Bischoff standing in the ring. Bischoff announces that in 2-weeks, RoH will hold a special 3 hour long episode of RoH Wrestling titled “Ring of Honor Supercard”. Bischoff announces that this Supercard will essentially be a free PPV to thank the RoH fans for their support over the last 4 and a half months before going over some of the matches he has already scheduled for the event:
- The RoH Tag Team Champions will make their first official title defense
- Sheamus will take on Keith Lee in Match #2 of what is now going to be a Best of 7 Series
- Big Show will look to get revenge as he finally gets his match against Bobby Lashley
- The Bullet Club will make their Ring of Honor debut
Bischoff then announces that the Main Event of Supercard will see Kurt Angle and Mr. Kennedy team up with 2 superstars of their choosing to take on Age of the Fall in an 8-Man Elimination Tag Team Match. Bishcoff let the crowd react to his announcement, before staying that a special stipulation will be added to the match. The stipulation is that if Team Angle wins, Seth Rollins will have to defend his RoH World Heavyweight Championship on 4 separate occasions against the winners, but if Age of the Fall win, none of the superstars on Team Angle will get another shot at the Championship as long as Seth Rollins hold the title. The crowd erupts to the news and chants of “RoH” ring through the arena as Bischoff smiles at their reaction.

We see Kevin Owens walking backstage with his Television Championship over his shoulder. Owens continues to walk down the hallway, passing various RoH lower midcard superstars and staff members before coming face to face with Drew Gulak.
Owens sarcastically remarks Gulak’s new shaved face and bargain basement suit before asking him if he’s got good news for him regarding Mike Bennett. Gulak scoffs, telling Owens that as Michael Bennett’s best friend and advisor, he want to remind Owens that Mike Bennett will face Owens on his terms and Owens will know when the time comes. Annoyed, Owens asks when Bennett plans on letting him know, when Bennett remarks that it may be “sooner than you think”. Just then, Bennett appears out of nowhere and jumps Owens! Bennett begins to throw a barrage of rights and lefts at Owens who tries to fight back, but is immobilized when Drew Gulak gets involved as well. Gulak and Bennett lay the boots to Owens, tosses him in to the wall before smashing his head off of a nearby toolbox. With Owens down on the ground hurt, Bennett picks up the Television Championship before saying “See you at Supercard!” He then drops the title on Owens and walks off with Gulak as we head back to in ring action.

Match #3: Street Fight
Match #3: Street Fight
Ken Kennedy vs. Joey Mercury (w/ Brodie Lee)
An absolutely brutal match with both men doing everything they possibly could to destroy the other in this Street Fight. Kennedy gets the upper hand early as he easily out wrestles Mercury which most fans saw coming from the very beginning of this feud. Brodie Lee does a get job as looking like a threat in this match, but doesn’t get involved as much as you’d think he would in this no DQ type match. Mercury is able to take control after wiggling out of a choke hold from Kennedy and tries to choke him out with a Kendo Stick, but Kennedy is able to make it to the ropes, even with Brodie Lee pulling them out of his reach. Kennedy’s major downfall in this match was his inability to focus on his opponent without wanting to take Lee out of the match as well. Kennedy is able to reverse and STO attempt from Mercury and land a Mic Check, but instead of pinning Mercury, Kennedy grabs his Kendo Stick and cracks it over the head of Brodie Lee who has jumped up on the apron trying to distract the referee from what he figured was about to be a pinfall attempt. With Lee crashing down to the floor and bleeding from the strike, Kennedy taunts the roaring crowd who chant for more violence. Kennedy then tries to pull Mercury up to his feet, but get a low blow for his trouble, dropping him to the mat. Exhausted and bloody, Mercury calls for Lee to get in the ring as the dazed Brodie Lee slowly gets in to the ring and begins to assist Joey Mercury in laying the boots to Kennedy. Mercury drags Kennedy to his feet and sends him in to Lee who almost takes his head off with a Discuss Clothesline! Seeing the damage done, Mercury covers Kennedy for the win much to the chagrin of the RoH crowd.
Winner: Joey Mercury by pinfall @ 19:45.

Main Event: Triple Threat Tag Team Match
Age of the Fall vs. Motor City Machine Guns vs. Unchained Honor
Ring of Honor World Tag Team Championship
Jimmy Jacobs comes out to the ring alone as Brodie Lee stayed at ringside during the commercial break and has been somewhat cleaned up from being busted open by that Kendo stick shot in the previous match. The commentary team wonder if Lee’s cut is going to cause him any problems in this tag team match as the other two competitors are fresh and ready for action. This match is an absolute barn burner with arguably the best tag team in all of RoH, the Motor City Machine Guns taking on the surprisingly successful new team of Michael Elgin and Jay Lethal who are as dangerous together as they are on their own and the always unpredictable pairing of Jimmy Jacobs and Brodie Lee who are representing Age of the Fall. The commentary team remark how a win here for AOF would have them holding 2/3 of all RoH Gold before wondering what a win tonight would mean for the Supercard matches announced by Eric Bischoff earlier this afternoon, before Taz suggests Jacobs and Lee would be forced to preform double duty if they walked away victorious. This match is everything the fans wanted and more as we have high flying, power and technical wrestling on full display here with each and every superstar getting their opportunity to showcase their many talents and signature moves. Brodie Lee and Michael Elgin begin to brawl on the outside of the ring, where Lee takes Elgin through the barrier, taking out both men out. Back in to the ring where pandemonium has broken out, Jay Lethal is able to nail Alex Shelley with a Lethal Injection.
Before he can make the pin, Jimmy Jacobs comes rushing in to the ring and takes out Lethal with a Spear, picking him up and tossing him on the outside as well. Jacobs goes to pin Shelley, but MCMG’s legal man Chris Sabin is waiting for him. Sabin kicks Jacobs in the gut and hits the Cradle Shock, covering Jacobs as the referee counts the 3! The Motor City Machine Guns are you Ring of Honor Tag Team Champions!
Winners & NEEEEWWWWWWW RoH Tag Team Champions: Motor City Machine Guns by pinfall @ 27:22.
Sabin and Shelley celebrate in the middle of the ring as the crowd showers them in confetti. The commentators bring up Sabin’s failed attempts at the Television Championship and how happy he must be to have finally won himself some RoH gold with his long time partner and best friend Alex Shelley. The Motor City Machine Guns celebrate their championship victory as RoH Wrestling fades to a close.
