We have an entrance video opening for the show, before heading to the commentary table, where we see Shinpei Nogami sitting with his headset on, ready to call the action here on "FRIDAY NIGHT CLASH"!
Shinpei welcomes the fans to the new era of ISPW, with "FRIDAY NIGHT CLASH", and coming out next we have the new General Manager of Operations here in ISPW, Nanae Takahashi! "NanaRacka" hits the speakers and Nanae makes her way out to a nice ovation from the crowd!
There is a table set up in the ring, and Nanae is carrying a briefcase with her. Nanae says it is AWESOME to be here in front of this sold out crowd, and she couldn't be happier to be here in ISPW as the new GM! She says big changes have come, but tonight, she has huge announcements. She says she is pleased to announce that on February 23rd, the next major event for ISPW, "FEARLESS", will take place in Tokyo at the Korakuen Hall! She says the main event of Manami Toyota challenging Charlotte Flair for the World Women's championship has everyone excited, and next week, Charlotte Flair will be in the building to sign the contract! She says at "FEARLESS", there will be further movement in the Female Division, as the first ever International Female Champion will be crowned! This gets a cheer from the fans, as she opens the briefcase on the table, unveiling the title belt. She says that tournament to crown that champion will start tonight!
Minoru Suzuki vs. Tomohiro Ishii
After a tough match, the ferocious villain Suzuki managed to reverse a Brainbuster attempt by Ishii into a Sleeper Suplex, followed by a Rear Naked Choke for the submission victory.
The new International champion, CIMA, makes his way out to the ring with his championship. He says that though Crazy MAX has disbanded and his stablemates have left ISPW, he is in the same place he has always been, and that is at the top. This brings out new comer Juice Robinson, who says that times are changing and he's here to give these fans what they want: a true champion. He says CIMA has found his way to the top by being a cheating little bastard, and he is not the champion this place deserves. CIMA says Juice hasn't been here for five minutes, and needs to learn his place. This brings out the new General Manager, Nanae Takahashi, who says tonight they will both have a chance to prove the other wrong. She says CIMA will have a chance to show Juice "his place", while Juice can try to show CIMA that he belongs in the ring with him, as they face off in a non-title match later tonight! CIMA says that Nanae may be drunk with power for giving such an undeserving wrestler a chance to be in the ring with the marquee star of the promotion, but he will prove to everyone once again why he is the face of ISPW and the greatest champion to ever live! Juice says that CIMA looks nervous, and he's going to get those jitters beaten out of him when Juice gets on the loose later and pins him to the mat, one, two, three! Juice leaves CIMA fuming in the ring as we head back to the commentary booth.
We see Shinpei Nogami looking very hyped for this turn of events, as "CLASH" is heating up with a big match announced for later!
ISPW INTERNATIONAL FEMALE TITLE TOURNAMENT: ROUND ONE
Hiroyo Matsumoto vs. Momo Watanabe
Momo had the fans behind her and was using her fast, hard striking arsenal to do damage to Hiroyo, but the dastardly Matsumoto had some tricks up her sleeve. Hiroyo pulled the referee in front of a kick from Momo, then went to the outside and grabbed a chair, which she used to attack Momo. Hiroyo would hit her Revolution Bomb and the referee dragged himself up to count the three. Hiroyo Matsumoto advances in the tournament.
We go backstage, where the Great Sasuke is standing in, looking as excitable as ever. He says while things may be changing, he is still the most dangerous force in all of ISPW, and nobody can run or hide when the ninja is set to strike! We hear a slow clap off camera, and then into the shot walks Hiromu Takahashi. Hiromu says that it's time for Sasuke to step aside, with his ridiculous costume and catchphrases, and let the next generation take over. Hiromu says he is here to bring chaos and charisma to the ISPW, and he says Sasuke's passe act needs to be banished. Sasuke says that Hiromu needs to learn some respect, and he's going to beat it into him next week! Hiromu waves him off, walking away and stating he can try.
Zack Sabre, Jr. vs. Hirooki Goto
This match saw the smooth technical ability and precision striking of ZSJ taking on the power and impact of Goto, and Goto went into this almost like a madman at times to try to squash Sabre and his spirit to get his debut victory. ZSJ would eventually manage to reverse Goto's finisher into a Cross Armbar, which, after a struggle from Goto to get the ropes, lead Sabre to transition it into a Jim Breaks Special, forcing Goto to verbally submit.
We go backstage, where we see Io Shirai warming up for her match later tonight. She is interrupted by her opponent for the evening, Yoshiko Tamura, who has some unkind words for Shirai. Tamura says she came close to being in title contention at "TRIUMPH" and she will not fall short to tonight. She says Shirai may consider herself a shooting star here in ISPW, but tonight, she gets burnt out by "The Boss Bitch"! Shirai says that just like at "TRIUMPH", Tamura's going to taste defeat. She says that Tamura's heart is black and brittle, and tonight, it is going to be shattered as Shirai moves on in her quest for the International championship! Tamura looks like she might attack Shirai, but Io gets her hands up and looks ready to fight. Tamura coolly backs off and turns away, as Io stands her ground.
We go back to the commentary booth, where Shinpei Nogami is ecstatic about the showdown in the main event later featuring these two women!
ISPW INTERNATIONAL FEMALE TITLE TOURNAMENT: ROUND ONE
Mayu Iwatani vs. Sumie Sakai
Sakai would try to brutalize Iwatani, but the unorthodox Mayu would bring the "Mayhem" tonight and best Sakai. Sakai was unable to deliver her finishing Smash Mouse maneuver, getting reversed by Mayu into a Dragon Suplex that earned Mayu the pinfall and advanced her in the tournament!
Out to the ring come the trio of Tama Tonga, Jay White, and Togi Makabe, who say tonight each of these men wanted to make their mark and put a beatdown on some poor, lowly souls! Out to the ramp comes Kota Ibushi, Kushida, and Tetsuya Naito, who say they are more than game for a fight, said they are ready to get crazy if they have to in order to take down the three goons in the ring!
From the commentary booth, Shinpei Nogami is excited because we have an impromptu six man match on our hands here! The referee runs in and the fight is underway! You can only get this kind of chaos on "CLASH"!
Kota Ibushi, Tetsuya Naito, and Kushida vs. Jay White, Tama Tonga, and Togi Makabe
This match was very light on rules and structure, as there were no tags or disqualifications seemingly being adhered to whatsoever. While Ibushi, Naito, and Kushida were bringing the high speed and the risk taking, White, Tonga, and Makabe really wanted this to be a hardcore brawls, and brought in different foreign objects from outside of the ring, while generally trying to keep the fight on the outside as close to a street fight as possible. In the end, Naito would manage to catch Makabe on the inside of the ring with a Destino onto a chair, holding him down for the three count! After the match, Jay White would slide in and deliver the Blade Runner on Naito right onto the chair, slipping out before Ibushi or Kushida could get their hands on him to exact any immediate revenge on "Switchblade".
We head backstage, where Mayu Iwatani is celebrating her victory with some of the other female stars of ISPW, when suddenly she is attacked from behind viciously by Hiroyo Matsumoto! Matsumoto says, "GOOD LUCK IN THE NEXT ROUND, BITCH!", before walking off as the other stars try to help Mayu up and get her medical attention.
ISPW INTERNATIONAL FEMALE TITLE TOURNAMENT: ROUND ONE
Ayumi Kurihara vs. Meiko Satomura
The popular Kurihara had the fans behind her, and she is really very skilled and well rounded in the ring, but Satomura just seemed too driven tonight. Satomura's crisp technical approach, along with her thunderous strikes, lead her to victory, as she managed to escape Kurihara's finishing Uranage, and took her down long enough to hit her Scorpio Rising finisher, knocking Kurihara out cold for the three count. Satomura advances in the tournament.
We see a promotional video for the main event of next week, as Katsuyori Shibata & Toshiaki Kawada will gear up to face Hiroshi Tanahashi & Munenori Sawa in tag team action!
We go back to the commentary booth, where Shinpei Nogami is absolutely loving this match up and is hyping it up for next week as a can't miss!
NON-TITLE
Juice Robinson vs. CIMA
These two have really good psychology, as Juice plays the crowd perfectly while CIMA uses dirty tactics to really get Juice over as a believable baby face. CIMA would sell great for Juice throughout, and would use his speed and cunning to try to get over on him. Juice looked to rally to victory in what would be a truly huge debut win, but CIMA stole that moment from him, slipping out of Juice's Pulp Friction finisher and using an O'Connor Roll with the tights held to get the cheap three count! After the match, Juice didn't lose his cool, smiling and yelling to CIMA, "THAT'S OKAY, I KNOW YOU CAN'T BEAT ME CLEAN!" CIMA looked very insecure about this as he clutched his belt, trying to keep his smile.
We go backstage, where we see Manami Toyota standing in. Manami talks about her match at "TRIUMPH" and how it was grueling and tested her mind, body, and spirit, but she managed to overcome. She fought so hard and put her body on the line for this very moment, as she is now in line to face a woman who believes herself to be peerless in Charlotte Flair. Manami says that she knows that Japan has the best women's wrestling, and the best wrestling in the world, and she knows that her heart, her desire, the work she has put in, and the faith she has from all of the fans of ISPW, is what will drive her to victory and bring the World championship here to ISPW! She says she is on a road to destiny, and when she faces Charlotte in that ring to sign the contract next week, Charlotte too will know that she is in for the fight of her life!
We go back to the commentary booth, where Shinpei Nogami is super selling that contract signing next week, as he feels there could be fireworks! You don't want to miss next week's "CLASH"!
ISPW INTERNATIONAL FEMALE TITLE TOURNAMENT: ROUND ONE
Io Shirai vs. Yoshiko Tamura
Tamura would try to keep this match grounded and break the spirit of Shirai, but Shirai is very multi-talented and managed to show her technical skill in keeping up with Tamura. Tamura would try to resort to more brawling tactics later in the match, taking her to the outside and sending her knee first into the guardrail, before assaulting her throughout the crowd. Shirai would hit an amazing Moonsault off of a ledge in the stands onto Tamura to get these fans on their feet and chanting for her! Back in the ring, Tamura would continue trying to work the leg, before delivering a Sliding Elbow Strike, followed by a Rolling Elbow to the back of Shirai's head, but to no avail! Shirai would kick out at two and the fans were chanting her name louder than ever! Tamura would send her into the buckles and try to smash her with another elbow, but Shirai would move, and then dropkick her before hitting a 619! The fans are on their feet, but Shirai is moving slowly after having her leg worked. Shirai heads up top, but Tamura meets her and they are battling back and forth. Shirai manages to get the better of it and sends Tamura down to the mat, but Tamura catches her with knees as she attempts another Moonsault! Tamura rolls Shirai up, thinking she's got it, but Shirai once again kicks out a split second before the three! Tamura gets back up and tries for another Rolling Elbow but Shirai ducks it and rolls her up tight with a School Girl, and Shirai has done it! Shirai has beaten Tamura and advances in the tournament!
We hear from Shinpei Nogami on commentary great praises for Io when suddenly Tamura is back in the ring with a chair! She attacks Shirai's leg and then sandwiches it in the chair, stomping it mercilessly over and over, yelling and clinching her teeth at Shirai in pure hatred! She has embarrassed Tamura and "The Boss Bitch" wants to make her pay! Referees hit the ring and break things up, but one has to wonder how this will affect Shirai's chances of advancing in the next round! We will find out next week on "FRIDAY NIGHT CLASH"!
