The show opens with CIMA and Crazy MAX cutting a promo about how last week they won two of the three spots in this next round of the International title tournament. CIMA says they will continue to dominate tonight, because they run ISPW and the title belongs to them!
Zack Sabre, Jr. makes his debut, defeating Kushida with a Jim Breaks Special for the submission win. Kushida had the fans behind him, but his heart couldn't win out over the technical skill and smooth execution of Sabre, Jr. ZSJ is good, and he knows it, and he took a lot of satisfaction in tapping out Kushida tonight.
We go backstage, where we see Jinsei Shinzaki pacing and talking to someone on a cellphone. Shinzaki says that darkness is spreading in ISPW and he needs assistance. He says they need to proceed with faith and force to stop this plague from spreading.
Ayako Hamada defeats The Dark Angel with a La Magistral cradle after a very quick match that saw the two engage in many lucha inspired spots before trading roll ups to the finish.
We go backstage where Toshiaki Kawada is standing in with Mio Shirai. Shirai asks why Kawada attacked Tanahashi last week, and just what does he have against Tanahashi anyway? Kawada says that he doesn't need to explain a damn thing to Mio, or anybody else. Tanahashi knows deep down inside that he's a piece of shit parading around like a hero. Everybody knows he thinks his shit don't stink, when really he's nothing but a piece of trash. All he wants to do is take from this business to build himself up. Kawada says if he's the God damn "Ace of the Universe", well then Kawada might as well destroy the damn universe and everything in it, cause it's all a bunch of garbage. Kawada says he doesn't need to tell people he's a bad man, he goes out and proves it. He says he ain't worried about Tanahashi showing up and hitting him in the back, cause he wishes that motherfucker would. He says Tanahashi don't want to fight. He wants titles, he wants glory, he wants women... or men, or whatever the Hell he's into, but what Kawada wants is simple: to whip his ass and wipe that dumb smile off his face. It ain't about wins, or losses, or legacy... it's about stomping Tanahashi and putting him in the dirt, where he belongs. Kawada says he's still here, when guys like Kobashi, Misawa, Muto, Nakamura, Okada, you name 'em, they all went overseas to make money, while Kawada has given everything he's got to this business, breaking himself down for years, and what thanks has he ever gotten? What respect has anybody ever given him? But everybody wants to kiss Tanahashi's ass? Well, at "Triumph", Kawada's gonna KICK Tanahashi's ass, and there ain't nothin' he can do about it.
Hiroyo Matsumoto defeats Momo Watanabe with a Running Powerbomb after a stiff back and forth contest. Hiroyo would use brawling and underhanded tactics throughout, and went for a post-match beatdown of Watanabe, leading to a run in by Mayu Iwatani to make the save and send Matsumoto out of the ring in retreat.
The MUW World Heavyweight champion SETH F'N ROLLINS makes his way out and is greeted by Atsushi Onita, who is seated at a table with a contract. Rollins says he is excited to be in Japan and to defend his title as a true WORLD champion. Katsuyori Shibata makes his way out and says this match isn't about Rollins being a World champion, but proving that Japan has the best wrestlers in the world, and the best of them all is Katsuyori Shibata, "The Perfect Professional Wrestler". Rollins says he's been all over the world and burned it all down to prove he's the best going today, and he says he admires Shibata, but he doesn't stand a chance against "The Architect". Rollins says he's worked too long and too hard to give it up now, but Shibata says he will have no choice, and instead of "burning it down" he's going to get "burned out" and knocked out by the true best in the world. Both men sign the contract and have a stare down in the middle of the ring, as we all get excited for the main event of "Triumph".
Dynamite Kansai & Sumie Sakai defeat Kyoko Inoue & Io Shirai after Dynamite Kansai pins Kyoko Inoue after a Running High Kick. Inoue and Shirai were high energy and had the fans behind them, but made a mistake in trying for a Doomsday Device on Sakai that was reversed. Sakai would deliver a German Suplex to Inoue as Kansai sent Shirai off the top turnbuckle to the floor. Kansai would enter the ring and deliver a devastating kick to the temple of the staggered Inoue, and get the victory over her rival in this tag team match.
We cut to an outdoor location, where we see Akira Hokuto and Bull Nakano standing behind a chain link fence. Last time we saw these two, they were being taken away by police after having a wild brawl in the streets with Aja Kong and Mariko Yoshida. Hokuto goes on to talk about how good it felt to destroy Kong and Yoshida, and even though the police got involved, they still aren't going to be able to save Kong, Yoshida, or any of the other women in ISPW from the Alliance of Violence. "The Queen of Violence" and Bull Nakano laugh, as Nakano shakes the fence they are behind, and then they walk off as the promo comes to an end.
Kota Ibushi defeats Dragon Kid in a very impressive debut with a Phoenix Plex for the pinfall. Dragon Kid would try to use speed and takedowns to overcome Ibushi, but Ibushi was able to time his reversals and make his impact count. Kid deliver some big offense near the end, landing kicks and a headscissors, before heading up top. Dragon Kid would attempt to deliver the DragonRana, but Ibushi showed his strength in blocking it, yelling out and hoisting Kid up in the opposite direction and grabbing his neck, planting him with the Phoenix Plex and bridging for the three count as the fans got on their feet and cheered that spectacular finish!
We go backstage, where Manami Toyota confonts Atsushi Onita. Toyota is intense, saying that she is sick of the games and the talk, and says she wants a match with Yoshiko Tamura to settle the score at "Triumph". Onita says he has seen these two battling it out, and knows they are two of the best in the division. He says the fans love Toyota for her heart and never say die attitude, and says she's made a huge impact here in ISPW since she's arrived. As for Tamura, he says she may be hated, but she has been very effective and made quite the reputation for herself. He says that ISPW is wanting to bring in the MUW World Women's Champion, but they need a challenger. He says that at "Triumph", Toyota will get her match with Tamura, and the winner will become the number one contender to the MUW World Women's Championship. Toyota looks slightly amazed and smiles fiercely. Onita says there's just one thing, though: since each woman has a pinfall over the other, he figures it'd better be a Best Two Out of Three Falls match. Toyota says she doesn't care how many times she has to pin that bitch to the ground, she's going to get that title shot, and she's going to teach Tamura a lesson she won't forget!
Ayumi Kurihara, Chigusa Nagayo, and Lioness Asuka defeat Sonoko Kato, Meiko Satomura, and Emi Sakura after Kurihara delivers a Uranage Suplex to Sakura. The Crush Gals of Nagayo and Asuka are super popular, and Kurihara was able to gain even more fanfare through association here. Kato, Satomura, and Sakura are all very good and played the heels well, cutting off the ring and taunting their opponents, and Sakura was just the one who seemed pretty obvious to take the fall here if her team was going to lose. The hot tag from Chigusa to Kurihara settled it, as Kato tagged out to Sakura, trying to avoid conflict with Kurihara, who she has been battling for quite some time now and didn't want to risk taking a fall to here. Kurihara would clean house, and smash Sakura with her finishing move to get the pinfall, and the fans were very happy to see this finish tonight.
We go backstage, where Munenori Sawa is getting prepared for his match with Shuji Kondo in the main event tonight. The Great Sasuke and Hayabusa are passing him by, and Sawa stops them, asking where they are going. Sasuke says that Sawa should know all too well by now how Crazy MAX operate, and Sasuke says they are ready to make sure they don't taint this tournament any more than they already have. Sawa says that there may be bigger troubles than Crazy MAX coming from what he's seen lately. Sasuke says they'll be ready to fight anybody, and tells Sawa that he should be too. Sasuke says in all of his years in this business, cowards have tried to band together to push around the little guy, but history has shown that sometimes to little guy can push back a lot harder, and more often than not, the cowards show their true colors in the end. He tells Sawa good luck, and Sasuke and Haybusa keep moving on.
ISPW International Title Tournament: CIMA defeats "The Dark Messiah" Koji Kanemoto after hitting the Meteora to advance in the tournament. Mochizuki is at ringside with CIMA, as usual, while Kondo is in the back staying fresh for his match next with Sawa. CIMA and Kanemoto are both heels, so this makes it conflicting for the fans, but anybody can appreciate the technical display they put on in the early going, which sees Kanemoto actually one up CIMA and start to take the advantage early on. Mochizuki starts trying to get involved, in typical Crazy MAX fashion, but this time things go differently, as two men, one smaller and the other rather large, making their way from the back wearing black masks and RUTHLESSLY beat Mochizuki down on the outside! Shuji Kondo comes running down with a chair and hits the bigger one in the back, but chaos is taking over! And to the ring runs GREAT SASUKE AND HAYABUSA, who start cleaning house and hit stereo Asai Moonsaults to give these fans something to cheer for! In all of the commotion, CIMA manages to get to the top rope and flies off, planting his knees in the chest of Kanemoto, who's distracted by the carnage, and manages to get the three count!
Munenori Sawa runs down to the ring, and he starts blasting people, getting into the fray! Sawa manages to grab Kondo and sends him into the ring! Atsushi Onita runs out, and tells everyone to leave ringside, and tells the referee from the previous match to start the match between Sawa and Kondo RIGHT NOW!
ISPW International Title Tournament: Munenori Sawa defeats Shuji Kondo with a Shining Wizard for the pinfall to advance in the tournament. Kondo has already taken a beating, and the fans are on their feet, as Sawa is landing heavy blows. Kondo is able to catch Sawa running wild with a Flap Jack into a Powerbomb, but only gets a two count. Kondo grabs Sawa and tries to lift him into a Crucifix, but Sawa reverses it and rolls him up for a two count! Kondo is gassed, and Sawa takes the opportunity to Wind Up and blast him with the Haymaker! Kondo sells like he just got hit with a mallet, doing a Flair Flop and the fans are going nuts! Sawa motions for him to get up, and Kondo gets to his knee. "The Postive Force" waves his arms, pulling the fans in, and rushes in, blasting Kondo with the Shining Wizard, and he's done! One, two, three! Sawa saw the opportunity and he took it, and he's going to the finals against CIMA for the ISPW International Title! Sawa gets on the buckles, yelling out and waving his arms upward, pumping up this crowd as they chant his name!
Before the show comes to an end, Aja Kong and Mariko Yoshida are backstage. Kong says they are going to make it short and sweet! She says Hokuto and Nakano want to run around like bad asses, they want to fight on the street, with weapons, no rules, and they want blood!? At "Triumph", Kong says her and Yoshida want this so-called Alliance of Violence in a STREET FIGHT! Kong turns and punches a hole in the wall before they walk off and the show comes to an end.
