We open the show with Yuji Shindo, MEN's Teioh, and Toshie Uematsu talking about all of the events that went down at "Indestructible", and the memorable night it was. They talked about Toshiaki Kawada making his debut after Hiroshi Tanahashi secured a victory, calling him out to a fight; Uematsu went on to talk about how Manami Toyota served up a pinfall to Yoshiko Tamura in a wild six woman tag team match, but ultimately Akira Hokuto, Bull Nakano, and Tamura all got the last laugh by assaulting their opponents with chairs in the post-match; MEN's Teioh said that the building nearly lost it's roof though when Katsuyori Shibata cemented himself as the top dog in ISPW right now, beating CIMA in a classic cage match to become number one contender to the MUW World Heavyweight championship, against all odds and the ever present threat of violence from Crazy MAX.
The commentary team finishes up their thoughts, and the sounds of "Ace of Spades" by Motorhead can be heard throughout the arena, and that can only mean one thing; out comes the commissioner of ISPW, Atsushi Onita to cheers from the crowd! Onita is carrying with him a briefcase, and he looks pretty pleased with himself. Onita gets on the mic asks this crowd how the Hell they are doing tonight, and they chant for him in a big way! Onita says he has something very special in his briefcase tonight, and it's something that's going to turn this promotion on it's head! Onita announces that tonight will begin the tournament to crown the first ever ISPW International Champion! He points to the big screen above the entry way, and a graphic is shown of the brackets for the contest, and says that the tournament will conclude at ISPW's next super spectacular event, "TRIUMPH"! and tonight's main event will be CIMA taking on the Great Sasuke in the first round of the tournament! The crowd is ready for that, and Onita's music hits again as we cut back to the commentary table.
Shindo, Teioh, and Uematsu go over the brackets, as we see Kushida vs. Shuji Kondo, Koji Kanemoto vs. Hayabusa, Munenori Sawa vs. Masaaki Mochizuki, and the previously mentioned match between CIMA and Sasuke. After some brief discussion and them putting over the announcement as about the biggest deal ever, we head to the ring for the first contest of the night.
Chigusa Nagayo & Lioness Asuka defeat Ayako Hamada & "The Ice Woman" Emi Sakura after Chigusa hits Hamada with a Bridging Tiger Suplex for the three count! The Crush Gals of Nagayo and Asuka took on the heel leaning duo of Hamada and Sakura tonight in a quick match to get the crowd going. Nagayo and Asuka would make quick tags and string together nice tag team moves, such as double dropkicks, a double hip toss, and at one point Nagayo whipped Sakura towards the corner and Asuka came off the middle turnbuckle with a dropkick. Hamada would manage to gain the advantage for her team for a short time, raking the eyes of Asuka and sending her to the outside, before flying out with a Pescado. After a quick, chaotic exchange on the inside, Chigusa would catch Hamada with a Tiger Suplex, and that was enough to hold her down for the three count!
Backstage, Crazy MAX are standing in a semi-circle and looking very serious. CIMA says that this tournament is a blessing, because it is giving them a huge opportunity to take back control of ISPW! He says that at "Indestructible", they suffered loss after loss, but tonight is where the ship gets brought back to course and Crazy MAX return to dominance of ISPW! Kondo says they need to tear shit up, and the three men slap each other on the chest and get moving, ready to get to work tonight.
ISPW International Title Tournament: Shuji Kondo defeats Kushida after a distraction from Misaaki Mochizuki leads Kushida to get drilled by a Lifting Spear that earns Kondo the three count. Kushida is a very fast paced star with a lot of talent and a growing following here in ISPW, but Crazy MAX were back to their old tricks and Kushida couldn't overcome it, as the powerful Kondo slammed him down and he just couldn't get back up before the three count. Kondo advances in the ISPW International title tournament.
Akira Hokuto and Bull Nakano are backstage with Mio Shirai, who is looking to get an interview with the two devious stars tonight. Hokuto is flanked by her husband, the imposing Kensuke Sasaki, as he menaces behind her, smiling as she talks about how good it felt to beat down Toyota, Yoshida, and Kong despite a losing effort at "Indestructible". Hokuto says they have waged a war, and while battles may be lost along the way, it's important to understand that "The Queen of Violence" has bigger plans, greater ambitions, and will ultimately destroy anyone the stands in her way. Nakano says tonight, Yoshida and Kong need to learn their lesson once and for all, and that they will break them to get the message across. We head back to the ring for the next match of the evening.
Mayu Iwatani & Arisa Nakajima and Sumie Sakai & Hiroyo Matsumoto fight to a no contest, after Sakai and Matsumoto use weapons of them to the point that referee has to throw out the match. Sakai and Matsumoto had no interest in having a fair and even contest tonight, and instead attacked Iwatani and Nakajima from the sound of the bell and sent them to the outside. The referee finally had to call the contest after Matsumoto lifted Iwatani and smashed her through a table set up in the corner with a Running Powerbomb. Sakai and Matsumoto raise their hands in the center of the ring as the fans boo, reveling in their destruction this evening.
A vignette is shown advertising that MUW World Heavyweight champion Seth Rollins will be here next week to sign the contract to face Katsuyori Shibata at "Triumph"!
We go backstage, where Mio Shirai is standing in with Katsuyori Shibata. Shirai asks Shibata's feelings about his cage match victory "Indestructible" over his rival CIMA. Shibata says that anyone could see that the match he had at "Indestructible" had to be the toughest contest of his entire life. He says CIMA put up a Hell of a fight, and even earned a shred of his respect that night, but that doesn't matter. He says he is "The Perfect Professional Wrestler" and he did what he said he was going to do, and he knocked CIMA the fuck out and won that cage match. Crazy MAX couldn't stop him that night, and he says at "Triumph", Seth Rollins is going to have the bring everything he's got... but he tells Mio that it's not going to be enough, because no matter what plans "The Architect" might have drawn up to defeat Shibata, Shibata says he's going to find a way to ruin them and walk out with that World Heavyweight championship. We head back to the ring for our next contest.
Dynamite Kansai, Yoshiko Tamura, Sonoko Kato, and Meiko Satomura defeat Kyoko Inoue, Manami Toyota, Ayumi Kurihara, and Io Shirai after Tamura pins Toyota after a Rolling Elbow to the back of the head! This match was given quite a bit of time, and we saw match ups between Inoue and Kansai, Kato and Kurihara, Satomura and Shirai, and Tamura and Toyota throughout, before things got a little more sporadic and chaotic. The team of Inoue, Toyota, Kurihara, and Shirai seemed to be on the verge of victory, as their high flying and high impact looked to have things going in their direction; however, Kato would use a chair and throw it at Toyota as she was on the top rope about to pounce of Tamura, sending her tumbling to the floor. Kato would send her back into the ring, and she would stumble backwards into a Rolling Elbow from Tamura, and that was enough to end the contest. Tamura avenged her pinfall loss to Toyota at "Indestructible", and "The Boss Bitch" is obviously feeling good about that, as the faces try to regroup after a taxing contest, hoisting up Toyota in the ring and watching the heels gloat on the ramp.
We go backstage, where we see "The Dark Messiah" Koji Kanemoto with a man who has his back to the camera. The man is in a black leather trench-coat and says to Kanemoto that tonight he has the opportunity of a lifetime to achieve his goals and bring this business to it's knees. Kanemoto says that his time has come and he will do what it takes to bring this place down, and bring upon this business the rise of The Underworld. The man in the trench-coat nods and we head back to commentary, as they all wonder who the man in the trench-coat might be and what Kanemoto means by "the rise of The Underworld". We then head to the ring for the next contest.
ISPW International Title Tournament: "The Dark Messiah" Koji Kanemoto defeats Hayabusa with the Koji Clutch. Hayabusa has a big following, and made this match very difficult on Kanemoto, who was visibly upset throughout. Kanemoto would eventually take things to the outside and catch Hayabusa with a Reverse STO onto the guardrail, smashing his face into the metal, before rolling him in and hitting another Reverse STO, this time chaining it into his Koji Clutch to get the victory. Kanemoto is on his knees, arms out stretched and basking in glory as "The Dark Messiah" advances in the International title tournament.
Backstage, Mio Shirai is standing in with a man who was victorious in his ISPW debut at "Indestructible, Hiroshi Tanahashi! Shirai asks how Tanahashi felt his debut went, and Tanahashi says that his opponent, Munenori Sawa, was a great competitor with a lot of fire, but he just didn't have enough to keep down the "Ace of the Universe", but really nobody could. Tanahashi says he won't be held down, and he will continue his rise to the top to prove he is not just the best in ISPW, not just the best in the world, but the best of all time. Shirai says that Toshiaki Kawada clearly had something to say about that after his match with Sawa, and Tanahashi says he's not worried about Kawada. He says he's overcome guys like him a hundred times in his career, and Kawada isn't going to be able to do anything to him that's going to throw him off of his game- and then out of nowhere flies in Toshiaki Kawada with a massive kick to the side of Tanahashi's head, sending him crashing through the interview set! Tanahashi stumbles up, and Kawada delivers a spin kick, and then lock in a Rear Naked Choke, taking Tanahashi down to the floor! Shirai is yelling for help, and officials and security come rushing to the aid of Tanahashi, trying to pull Kawada off of him! Kawada finally lets go, and walks over to Shirai. Kawada grabs her by the collar and pulls her wrist up, pulling the mic close to his face. Kawada tells Shirai to take a look at her hero, the little pretty boy Tanahashi, cause he ain't gonna be so pretty after Kawada gets done with him.
We head back to the commentary table, where Yuji Shindo is aghast at the carnage wreaked by Kawada there. MEN's Teioh says that Tanahashi is far too cocky and it hurt him. Uematsu says that with a guy like Kawada gunning for you, you shouldn't be so brash and disrespectful, because "Dangerous K" has beat respect into every man he's ever faced, win, lose, or draw, and this will be no different. We then head back to the ring for the next contest.
ISPW International Title Tournament: "The Positive Force" Munenori Sawa defeats "The Assassin" Masaaki Mochizuki after submitting him with the Octopus Stretch. These two traded some very stiff strikes, and had a very rough, physical contest, but it was clear the fans were behind Sawa and he had all of the momentum. CIMA and Kondo would both try to get involved, and Sawa would knock them both off the apron. Mochizuki would try to capitalize, looking for a Roundhouse Kick to Sawa's head, but Sawa would duck it and catch him in the jaw with his Wind-Up Punch, followed by the Octopus Stretch to put him down in the center of the ring for the submission victory. Sawa would get on the apron, motioning for the fans, waving them up as they chanted his name and he advances on in the International title tournament.
Backstage we see The Great Sasuke pacing around, looking pumped up and ready to talk about his match tonight. He says Crazy MAX got what was coming to them at "Indestructible", and tonight would be no different! He says Kondo felt the power of the ninja at "Indestructible", when he got lifted up like the big baby he is and dropped on the back of his skunk looking head, and he took the one, two, three for Great Sasuke! Now, tonight, his little buddy CIMA is going to learn the same lesson... Sasuke says they've crossed paths before, and CIMA has managed to escape, but not tonight! He says tonight, there's nowhere to run and nowhere to hide for CIMA when the ninja strikes, and goes on to become the first International champion! We head back to the ring, where we are ready for the next match.
Akira Hokuto & Bull Nakano and Aja Kong & Mariko Yoshida wrestle to a no contest in a very wild match up, that sees things spill out into the streets! The bad blood is boiling here, as it was actually Kong and Yoshida who would take things to the outside, and Kong would even attack Kensuke Sasaki who was standing by, as it was clear these two have had enough. Sasaki would try to get involved after being provoked, but it didn't matter, as nothing was going to stop this mayhem! The fight went through the crowd and into the backstage area, where Hokuto and Nakano would gain the upper hand, as Nakano picked up Yoshida and sent her face first into a brick wall with a Lawn Dart style throw! Kong and Hokuto would make their way out of the building, and they were brawling in the streets! A crowd gathered around, and Nakano grabbed a man on the street and stole his belt right off of his waist, and attacked Kong from behind, choking her with it! Hokuto got on top of a car hood and told Nakano to bring Kong over! The police would arrive, lights flashing, as Hokuto hoisted up Kong and delivered a Piledriver to Kong on top of the car, sending her crashing down to the asphalt below! The police would rush out and apprehend Hokuto and Nakano, pulling them over to their cruiser and shoving them against it, and handcuffing them! The referee and Sasaki would come out and try to explain what was happening, but Hokuto and Nakano were smiling and laughing as the police shoved them in the back of the car, satisfied with their carnage at any cost! The camera would then get a close up of Kong, who was trying to pull herself up with the bumper of a car, and then cut to the inside, where we see Yoshida stumbling and bleeding from her forehead, holding up her hands and looking for a fight, though she probably has a concussion.
We cut back to the commentary table, where MEN's Teioh is standing up, throwing his papers up in the air and yelling that shit is crazy here on RAGE! Shindo says that Hokuto and Nakano have taken it too far, and they deserve to have the book thrown at them! Uematsu says that mere bars and shackles won't be able to keep those evil bitches down, and they will be back with a vengeance sooner than later!
We head backstage, where Mio Shirai has managed to catch up with Yoshiko Tamura, who is flying high after that victory tonight. Tamura says that Manami Toyota came into this company and tried to take over her turf, but she's had to learn the hard way that "The Boss Bitch" runs things around here, and she will always get the last laugh! Tamura says Toyota may have gotten a lucky win at "Indestructible", but she felt her true power tonight, and there's a lot more where that came from if she wants another fight!
ISPW International Title Tournament: CIMA defeats The Great Sasuke after hitting the Mad Splash following some Crazy MAX interference. Sasuke and CIMA would have a nice little main event here that had the fans sucked in, as they traded some signature spots and Sasuke was really rolling. Sasuke was working the crowd and drawing them in as he chopped, kicked, and slammed CIMA, who looked to be hurting after that Cage Match war at "Indestructible". Crazy MAX would try to get involved, but out came Jinsei Shinzaki and Dragon Kid, who have consistently had Great Sasuke's back since entering ISPW. The referee would get caught up trying to kick out Kondo, Shinzaki, and Kid, who were causing a lot of distraction, but Mochizuki managed to crawl under the ring and to the other side, sliding it and catching Sasuke with a Roundhouse Kick to the head to knock him out, causing the fans to boo wildly! CIMA would manage to get to the top rope and come off with his version of the Frog Splash, and it was all over! CIMA manages to steal another win off of the Great Sasuke, and he advances in the tournament to crown the first ever International champion.
