We open the show with a shot of Dario Cueto’s office. It is empty and the lights are out. The door opens and the light turns on. El Jefe is here! He walks over to his liquor cabinet and pours himself some tequila and then sits down at his desk. He opens a large book to a page that reads, “MAIN EVENT: MASH-UP WRESTLING CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH – BRAUN STROWMAN VS. SAMOA JOE – OCTOBER 31ST 2018.”
A knock is heard on the door. Cueto says to come on in. It is the holder of the Gift of the Gods: Awesome Kong! She walks right up to the desk, throws the belt down on it and tells Cueto that she wants a match with his brother tonight. Cueto reminds her of the rules – that he needs one week to promote the match – so in next week’s main event she will have her title match. Kong says, “Good!” and then walks out the door. Cueto pulls one of the Seven Ancient Aztec Medallions out of the belt, looks it over and says, “I might as well start handing these back out tonight.”
Just then, another knock is heard on the door. Cueto says to come in. It is The Miz, who walks in and demands to exercise his rematch clause for the Gift of the Gods tonight. Cueto laughs at him and says that there is no such thing as a rematch clause because this isn’t sports entertainment, it is lucha. And secondly, he’s too late because the belt is sitting on his desk. As he can see the current champion wasn’t too much of a coward to turn it in for a shot at his brother. That said, Cueto tells him that he’ll give him an opportunity to win one of the Seven Ancient Aztec Medallions tonight against Lucha Underground’s newest luchador – someone Cueto says is a blast from The Miz’s past.

LUCHA UNDERGROUND TRIOS CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
The Rabbit Tribe vs. The Super Friends
Paul London, Saltador & Mala Suerte vs. Fénix, Aero Star & Drago
The Super Friends defeated The Rabbit Tribe by pinfall to become the new Lucha Underground Trios Champions. It was the Rabbit Tribe’s first championship title defence. Unfortunately for them, their wacky antics failed to get The Super Friends off their game. Fénix, Aero Star and Drago looked like a trios team that had teamed together for many years. Their instincts were sharp and their chemistry couldn’t have been more evident as they double-teamed and triple-teamed the champions seemingly at every turn. The match ended after Aero Star performed a springboard trust-fall dive onto London and Mala Suerte while Fénix gave Saltador a lethal injection cutter that was followed by a blockbuster neckbreaker from Drago, who then pinned him for the win.

Ultimo Dragon came out to the ring to call out Chris Jericho, for whom he holds a grudge for winning the Ultima Lucha Dos Battle Royal by last eliminating him, after he’d been banished from the Temple at Ultima Lucha. He believes that he deserves to be in the Ultima Lucha Tres main event instead of Chris Jericho and he wants to prove it by challenging him to a one-on-one match.
&
Jericho doesn’t appear. Instead, showing up to answer the challenge is Famous B. Accompanied by the Beautiful Brenda, who is dressed in a sexy nurse’s outfit that looks more porn nurse than actual nurse, Famous B says that his client, Dr. Wagner Jr., would have won the Lucha Underground Championship title match at Ultima Lucha Tres were it not for Ultimo Dragon dumping him out of the ring. He goes on to say that Ultimo Dragon certainly couldn’t defeat Dr. Wagner in a one-on-one match and so if anyone should be challenging Chris Jericho to a match for the slot in the Ultima Lucha Tres main event, it is his client.
Dario Cueto comes out of his office. He says that he could heard what the both of them have been saying and tells them that, unfortunately, Chris Jericho is not here and he hasn’t been seen by anyone, anywhere, since Ultima Lucha Dos, but since the two of them are here, they should have a match to decide who is more worthy of challenging Jericho for his Ultima Lucha Tres contract, that is, should he ever show his face again.

Ultimo Dragon vs. Dr. Wagner Jr.
Ultimo Dragon vs. Dr. Wagner Jr.
Dr. Wagner Jr. defeated Ultimo Dragon in a match in which he had to put up with considerable distractions and interference by Famous B and the Beautiful Brenda, whose high-pitched squeals and cheers were distracting enough in and of themselves. Ultimo Dragon brought the crowd to its feet when he executed an Asai moonsault, as well as when he gave Dr. Wagner Jr. a Dragonsteiner. Dr. Wagner Jr. was also successful with his aerial attacks, including a plancha off the top turnbuckle and a springboard diving crossbody that got a 2-count. Unfortunately for Ultimo Dragon, whenever he started to get on a roll, Famous B or Beautiful Brenda would get involved. Finally, their interference paid off by enabling Dr. Wagner Jr. to execute the Wagner Driver and pin Ultimo Dragon for the win.

MATCH FOR ONE OF THE SEVEN ANCIENT AZTEC MEDALLIONS
The Miz vs. Johnny Mundo
MATCH FOR ONE OF THE SEVEN ANCIENT AZTEC MEDALLIONS
The Miz vs. Johnny Mundo
Johnny Mundo defeated The Miz by pinfall to earn one of the Seven Ancient Aztec Medallions. The Miz was shocked when Melissa Santos announced that his surprise opponent was none other than his old friend and tag team partner. Although he was caught off-guard, The Miz executed a smart game plan by targeting Mundo’s knees in an effort to keep the super athletic high-flyer grounded. He even trapped Mundo in a figure four leglock, but Mundo refused to give up and eventually forced a rope break. Mundo hit all of his signature moves, including a standing moonsault side slam, a tilt-a-whirl DDT and Moonlight Driver, but The Miz managed to kick out of them all. In the late stages of the match, “Classy” Freddie Blassie, who did not come down to the ring with The Miz, showed up to cheer him on and tried to help him by tossing him his cane to use as a weapon. However, after The Miz caught it, he turned right into a superkick that knocked him out in the corner and left him in a prime position to receive Starship Pain. After the match, Mundo took a microphone and apologized to The Miz for making him his first victim in his victim on his path to winning the Lucha Underground Championship. He said it was nothing personal, but he needs to know that this is Mundo’s world now.

We find the Rabbit Tribe walking into the Lucha Underground locker room. The enter team looks dejected for having lost the Trios Championships, which Paul London refers to as the key to finding the alternate universe. In his frustration, he kicks a locker door. It swings open. They see Mascarita Sagrada hanging on a hook inside the locker. Their sadness turns to joy as they think that they have found the “White Rabbit.” They ask him to take them to the universe where he rules over all things. Mascarita Sagrada has no clue what they are talking about, but says he needs their help. They are willing to do whatever he asks of them. They open another locker and find Cheeseburger bound and gagged inside. They get him out of the locker, and Mascarita Sagrada vows revenge against those who did this to them! But, first, they need to eat, and he tells Cheeseburger to go get the grill fired up. They walk away with Paul London, Saltador, and Mala Suarte giddily following close behind.

MASH-UP WRESTLING WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
BRAUN STROWMAN vs. SAMOA JOE
MASH-UP WRESTLING WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
BRAUN STROWMAN vs. SAMOA JOE
Braun Strowman and Samoa Joe fought to a no contest in this highly anticipated main event. The match went around 20-minutes and saw Samoa Joe put up quite the fight for the Mash-Up Wrestling Men’s World Heavyweight Champion. It was a true slugfest that saw Strowman use his massive hands to pummel the challenger, and Joe fight back with his war-hardened knuckles as he jabbed and chopped away at his bigger opponent. The two stories of the match were Joe’s efforts to try to lock the champion in the Coquina Clutch, and Strowman’s efforts to use his raw power to beat his challenger into submission.
The match became increasingly physical as it went along. Joe had to take chances to try to win the match, which is why he hit Strowman with a few topé suicidas and even put Strowman through a table with a Samoan drop from the ring apron down to the floor! Later on, Strowman returned the favour by putting Joe through a table with a running spinebuster into a high-rise bleacher retaining wall.
Back in the ring, Joe managed to get Strowman into a Coquina Clutch, but he couldn’t bring “The Monster Among Men” off his feet. The champion accomplished the rare feat of breaking out of the feared submission hold, and moments later executed a chokeslam. About a minute after that, Strowman scooped up Joe for the running powerslam, but he slipped free, and using Strowman’s own moment against him, shoved him over the top rope.
Joe went out of the ring and brawled with Strowman again. They hit each other with chairs and brawled all over the section of hardwood bleachers and up to concrete area above. The fight saw Joe put Strowman’s head through a old glass window pane, and Strowman whip Joe face-first into a large exposed pipe. It was after this moment when the exchanged fists, chops, and headbutts before finally Strowman picked up Joe and dropped him through the floor with a running powerslam!
Vampiro got up from the broadcast position and went to open the door to what looked like a storage closet not far from his position. It was padlocked shut. When an official final produced a key to open it, a bloodied Braun Strowman emerged from the wreckage to raise his hands as if to claim victory. Joe was found laying unconscious in the pile of rubble. Consequently, the match was ended.
