The show starts with Shane Douglas and Francine making their way to the ring to the sounds of "Perfect Strangers" by Deep Purple. "The Franchise" gets a mixed reaction, but it goes full heel as he insults these fans here in Indiana and lets them know where they can stick their opinions (up their asses), because he is the only man that matters in the building! Douglas says tonight, he beats the crap out of some wanna-be snuff film star, a job well below his pay grade, and he begins his rise to the top to become the champion of this God forsaken territory! This leads to "Helllloooo ladies!" and the crowd goes wild for Val Venis, making his way to the stage wrapped in his signature towel. Venis says he's in a giving mood... and that means he's going to be giving a beating to Shane Douglas, and then maybe some pleasing to some lucky ladies tonight! The only lady that won't be pleased, he says, is Francine, as she has to watch her man get his ass kicked and dragged out of the arena by the medics! He says he sees the way Francine is looking at him now, wishing she could be with a real man, but he says the ladies who get satisfaction from the "Big Valbowski" are the classy kind, not the trashy kind, and she's going to be lonely tonight after he leaves her man limp and battered! Douglas says that's good talk, we'll see who's limp after "The Franchise" sticks his boot up Val Venis' ass... or maybe he likes that sort of thing! Venis says Douglas is the expert on things going up asses, since his head has been stuck up his own ass for years, and it's time to remove it and send Shane Douglas a message he won't soon forget about where he belongs in this business! With that, Venis' music hits and he backs off the stage, and we get to the first match.
Kid Kash vs. Josh Abercrombie
Abercrombie has charisma and speed, with his sleazy mustache and ring timing. Kid Kash is a vicious face, though, chopping and thrust kicking Abercrombie a number of times, then nearly putting him away with a Sit-Out Powerbomb. Kash lays on some big crossface punches before slamming him with a Lariat in the corner. Abercrombie fights back and hits a Swinging Neckbreaker, followed by a Lionsault, but Kash kicks out. Abercrombie whips Kash into the buckles and taunts before trying charge in, but Kash avoids an Avalanche Splash, following up with a Running Dropkick into the buckles! Kash delivers a nasty looking Brainbuster, followed by a high impact Moonsault off the top to put Abercrombie away for the three count as the fans cheered him on!
Next out, we have "The Lethal Weapon" Steve Blackman, who shows off his martial arts skills with glowing sticks, swinging them around on stage to mesmerize the crowd. Chad Collyer is already in the ring here and doesn't show that he is impressed, but you get the feeling he doesn't stand much of a chance.
"The Lethal Weapon" Steve Blackman vs. Chad Collyer
Collyer surprised some people here tonight, as the Dean Malenko trained veteran went for the left leg of Blackman and really didn't let up. Collyer continually tried to keep Blackman on the mat, putting him in leg locks, dropping elbows on his leg, and trying to keep him horizontal. Blackman had to show his wrestling skills and strength to finally overcome this great game plan of Collyer, before finally being able to land any strikes of consequence. Blackman would eventually land a Bicycle Kick, but his left leg was hurting too bad to capitalize initially. Collyer would trying to grab Blackman's leg once more and take him over with a Leg Twist, but Blackman blocked it and grabbed Collyer, pulling him down into a Guillotine Choke! Collyer was caught in the center of the ring with nowhere to go, and had to tap out as Blackman yelled out, choking the life out of him.
Blackman and Collyer exchanged a handshake afterwards, getting a small applause from the fans after a grueling contest.
Phil Shatter is the next man to make his way to the ring. He is followed by Michael Tarver, who has a microphone. Tarver says he should be in the main event, he is the most dangerous man on the roster, but nobody in the building wants to see a black man over two celebrated white guys. He says it doesn't matter, cause he's going to show everybody who he is right now, and he's going to make them believe in "Iron" Michael Tarver, and he won't be denied!
"Iron" Michael Tarver vs. "The Universal Soldier" Phil Shatter
Tarver talked tough, but Shatter is no small competitor. Shatter posed a big threat to him and landed some big shots early, hitting a Spinebuster for a short two count. Tarver fights back, showing the power in his hands, before delivering a Overhead Belly to Belly Suplex. Tarver proceeds to hit a Swinging Powerslam for a two count. Tarver attempts to hit a Superman Punch, but Shatter ducks it and delivers a Lariat, but Tarver kicks out. Shatter then calls for the end, looking for a Powerbomb, but Tarver blasts him with a punch as he gets to the upright position and Shatter falls, stunned. Shatter stumbles up and Tarver delivers the Knockout Punch, dropping Shatter, who he pins for the three count.
Tarver's hand is raised as the fans give him a mixed reaction, obviously his egotistical attitude isn't going over with everybody.
Val Venis vs. "The Franchise" Shane Douglas w/ Francine
Douglas attacks Venis right out of the gate hard and lays into him with brawling tactics, bad mouthing him and choking him before slapping him across the face and sending him out of the ring. "The Franchise" gloats inside of the ring and then grabs the referee, talking to him as Francine puts the boots to Venis on the outside, kicking him in the groin! Douglas heads to the outside and suplexes Venis on the floor, getting serious boos now! Back inside, Douglas hits a Belly to Belly Suplex, but only gets a two count. Douglas tries to whip Venis, but Venis reverses with a Blue Thunder Bomb for a short two count. Venis begins building momentum, hitting a back elbow, followed by a Russian Legsweep, but still just a two count. Venis whips Douglas and ducks early, looking for a Backdrop, but Douglas kicks him and hits a DDT, getting a two count of his own. Douglas calls for the end and goes looking for the Pittsburgh Plunge, but Venis escapes it and hits a Half Nelson Slam! Douglas sells it big time and crawls to the corner as Venis gets fired up! Venis lays into Douglas with multiple clotheslines in the corner before whipping him and hitting a Spinebuster! Francine hops on the apron and there is an argument, as Venis tries to get to the top for the Money Shot. Douglas gets back up and tries to hit Venis from behind, but Venis side steps him. Douglas stops just short of hitting Francine, apologizing and looking sympathetic, but Venis is quick to roll up Douglas with a School Boy! Douglas is stunned and Venis gets the three count!
Douglas is beside himself as Venis celebrates on the inside. Venis balls up his fist and threatens Douglas, who leaves, wrapping his arm around Francine and heading out, yelling obscenities as the crowd sends him off with jeers and the show comes to an end!
