This week’s show began with Prince Puma coming out to the ring and before anything else could even happen, Alberto El Patron exited his office with Paige and The Crew. Alberto was angry that Puma was interrupting the proceedings, as he wasn’t scheduled for a match, and demanded to know what he was there for. Puma said that he came looking for him and challenged him to a match right here, right now. Alberto laughed him off and said that he didn’t have time for his nonsense and that he had more important business to tend to than having a match with him. Puma responded by saying that if he was too chicken shit to fight him, then maybe one of his cronies would step in the ring. Upset at that last comment, Alberto decided to give Puma a match tonight, against Los Perros del Mal in their Lucha Underground debut, and sarcastically bid him good luck finding two luchadores to join him against the best trio on the planet!

Bad News Brown defeated Super Crazy by pinfall. This was Super Crazy’s Lucha Underground debut, and it certainly did not fail to live up to his moniker. Bad News Brown, in his first match since Ultima Lucha, was in a foul mood and made sure to take it out on Super Crazy. They went to the outside of the ring and brawled for a long time. More of the match took place outside of the ring than in it. Super Crazy dropped Brown with a springboard crossbody from the ring to the floor. He also gave Brown a modified springboard bulldog, kicking his feet off the retain wall for one of the sectional bleachers and driving his head into the floor. On the other hand, Brown parted the sea of Believers at ringside and threw Super Crazy like a lawn dart, head first into the wooden chairs at ringside. Later, he gave Super Crazy a snap suplex on the hardwood bleachers. If Super Crazy wasn’t already in the good graces of the Believers, he got on their good side by bringing out the lumber. He introduced a table into the match, but put himself through it on an attempted moonsault when Brown got off the table. Immediately after that, Brown gave him the Ghetto Blaster and pinned him for the win.

Beth Phoenix defeated Zeuxis by pinfall. This was Zeuxis’ first match in Lucha Underground and she represented herself well as she took control of the match a couple of different times. Each time she was in control, she focused on trying to weaken Phoenix’s legs. Phoenix, meanwhile, relied on her power at every occasion to fight back and take control of the match, executing moves like a military press slam and a delayed cradle suplex. Not to be outshone, Zeuxis showed off some power of her own, particularly when she executed a powerslam and a delayed vertical suplex. There were some really close near falls registered for both luchadoras, as Zeuxis executed a diving crossbody into a lateral press and a sunset flip powerbomb that nearly won the match, and Phoenix executed a slingshot suplex and sit-out spinebuster that nearly won it. It the end, however, it was Phoenix that won the match after she escaped from a fireman’s carry and knocked Zeuxis down with a hard double axehandle smash to the back. When Zeuxis attempted to get up after that, Phoenix picked her up and executed the Glam Slam to earn the victory.

Inside Alberto El Patron’s office, we see him meeting with Juventud Guerrera, Fénix, and Psicosis. Alberto congratulates them on their win last week and tells them that he was so impressed by how well they represented Mexico that he is giving them an opportunity to win the Trios Championships next week. The trio is pleased with the news and they thank Alberto, who tells them to make Mexico proud.
As they leave, Cesaro pokes his head in the door and asks for a moment of his time. Alberto appears to be agitated by this, but asks him what he wants. Cesaro tells him about the incident from two weeks ago where the “Macho King” Randy Savage assaulted him just for signing autographs. He says that Savage needs his ego checked and so he is asking for a match next week. Alberto grants it and Cesaro thanks him while saying that he hopes he will shrink Savage’s ego by defeating him in the ring.

Eddie Guerrero defeated PJ Black by pinfall. This was an entertaining match that saw both luchadores trade turns dictating the pace of the action in the air and on the mat. As far as the mat game goes, Latino Heat applied headlocks, vices, and chinlocks, while the Dare Wolf focused on the legs with knee wrenches, leg locks, and half crabs. As far as the air game goes, Latino Heat executed a plancha, springboard dropkick, and a diving hurricanrana, while the Dare Wolf executed a springboard moonsault from the ring to the floor, a springboard hurricanrana, and a springboard somersault senton bomb. After an exchange of punches in then middle of the ring, Black hit Guerrero with a thrust kick and then a spinning back kick to knock him down. Then he went for a springboard moonsault, but landed on Guerrero’s knees. He got up and took Black down with a delayed belly-to-back suplex and pinned him for a 2-count. Next, Guerrero executed the Three Amigos vertical suplexes and then climbed the turnbuckle to go for the frog splash. Black had the presence of mind to roll to the far end of the ring, so Guerrero got down and charged at him, only to receive a boot to the face and then an enzuigiri kick. Black went to the top rope and went for the 450-splash, but Guerrero rolled out of the way, then he executed a lung blower, and nailed the frog splash to get the win.

Perro Aguyao Jr., Hector Garza and Daga defeated Prince Puma, Sexy Star and Rey Mysterio Jr. by pinfall. Prince Puma found two strong fan favourites willing to join his side in his fight against Los Perros del Mal, whose members did Alberto El Patron’s dirty work two weeks ago when they ran interference in Prince Puma’s match against The Miz, with an opportunity to main event Ultima Lucha Dos on the line. This is Los Perros del Mal’s first match in Lucha Underground and they showed themselves to be a very strong Trio. They made frequent tags and displayed some unique triple maneuvers, like a missile dropkick by Aguyao that hit Mysterio as he was suspended in the air in a double vertical suplex by Garza and Daga. They proved to be the more experience trio. However, Puma, Sexy Star, and Mysterio proved to have the heart and the will not to allow their opponents to defeat them so easily. What it boiled down to was the necessity to fight dirty and use weapons. After Mysterio hit Daga with the Six-One-Nine, he stood on the ring apron, prepared to execute the West Coast Pop, but Aguyao pulled him down and gave him a Perrito Driver (low blow from behind) and then hip tossed him into a retaining wall, which caused Sexy Star to run off the ring apron and take him down with a diving crossbody. Meanwhile, Prince Puma went at it with Hector Garza and nailed him with a Benadryller. However, Daga hit him in the back with a steel chair and then gave him a float-over DDT onto it. Then, he helped Garza get up and gave Puma to him. Garza gave him a powerbomb onto the chair and pinned him for the win.
