Tully Blanchard defeated Son of Havoc by pinfall in a fairly evenly matchup. Son of Havoc had to put up with interference from Bobby “The Brain” Heenan and Heenan Family member and co-Trios Champion Arn Anderson. Heath Slater, who has formed an alliance with Son of Havoc over the last several weeks, showed up to try to counteract the Heenan Family’s outside interference in the match, but he was unsuccessful, as Double A slammed his head into the turnbuckle post and gave him a gutwrench suplex on the floor. Son of Havoc got even with Double-A for his attack on Slater by doing a running cartwheel into an over-the-top-rope corckscrew senton bomb! However, when he returned to the ring, Blanchard gave him a DDT and then a slingshot suplex to secure the victory.

Charlotte Flair defeated Cameron by submission. It was a relatively easy contest for Flair, who was in the driver’s seat throughout the match. She executed the Natural Selection and then forced Cameron to submit to the Figure Eight in short order. After the match, Flair demanded a microphone and publicly declared her intention to regain the Luchadoras Championship, but insinuated that Awesome Kong probably wouldn’t give her a shot at the gold because the last time Awesome Kong was the champion, Flair beat her for the title.

We go inside Dario Cueto’s office to find him meeting with Aerostar, who returned from a severe elbow injury two weeks ago. Cueto welcomes him back to the Temple and congratulates him on his full recovery. Aerostar thanks Cueto and then tells Cueto that he has come to see him because he wants a match against the person who is responsible for his injury. Cueto says that he would love to make it happen, but that Pentagon Jr. hasn’t been seen since he was found unconscious in the Lucha Underground locker room a few weeks ago (which was also what allowed Aerostar to make his return by replacing Pentagon Jr. in his match). Aerostar tells Cueto that he isn’t talking about Pentagon Jr. rather he’s talking about PJ Black. He says that it is Black’s fault that his arm was broken, so he wants to his revenge by defeating him in a match. Cueto is fine with this idea and says it will happen next week. When Aerostar opens the door to leave, Ultimo Dragon is there. They exchange pleasantries and shake hands before Aerostar leaves.
Cueto asks Ultimo Dragon what he can do for him. Ultimo Dragon tells him that even though he just won the Gift of the Gods last week, he’s here to turn it in for a Lucha Underground Championship match next week. Cueto acknowledges that he has the right to do this, but asks him why he is in such a rush to get rid of one prize for another. Ultimo Dragon replies that Cueto knows that Ultimo Dragon should be the Lucha Underground Champion right now, but that he had the title stolen from him by Chris Jericho (see Lucha Underground S1Ep?). He thinks that it is only right that he gets a rematch against Cesaro, and that he gets it right away. Cueto thinks he has a valid argument and accepts the Gift of the Gods for a main event title match next week. Ultimo Dragon thanks him and says that next week, Cesaro will no longer be the Lucha Underground Champion.

Dean Ambrose defeated Bad News Brown and Baron Corbin by pinfall in a three-way brawl that saw Ambrose, Brown and Corbin take their fight to the Temple floor and into the bleachers. The action was pretty brutal at times. For instance, Corbin smashed a kendo stick into pieces from hitting both of his opponents with it repeatedly. Brown retaliated later on by busting Corbin’s head open by smashing it into the ring bell a few times. Ambrose made Brown feel pain by giving him a snap suplex on the wooden bleachers. Ambrose took a nasty bump by running into a Deep Six on the floor. Each wrestler looked like they had a chance of winning the match at one point. Ambrose gave Corbin the Dirty Deeds DDT, but Brown broke up his pinfall attempt. Later, Corbin pinned Brown after giving him the End of Days, but Ambrose broke up the pinfall. Later still, Brown dropped Ambrose with a Ghetto Blaster and covered him, but Corbin broke up the fall. In the final minutes of the match, Ambrose and Brown effectively eliminated Corbin by collaborating to put him through a table with a double-powerbomb. Brown made a final push to win by going for another Ghetto Blaster, but Ambrose got out of the way, picked a chair up off the mat, hit Brown across the back with it, and then planted his face into it with the Dirty Deeds to win.

The Mash-Up World Champion Brock Lesnar and his advocate, Paul Heyman are in The Temple. They’re presence comes as a huge surprise to the Believers, who cheer them on. Heyman cuts a promo hyping Lesnar’s impending appearance at Ultima Lucha where he will conquer Samoa Joe. Heyman is in fine form as he talks about his client’s finer points and all of his opponent’s lesser ones (someone he finds many, although there truly are few). However, as he continues to riff on how unimpressive Samoa Joe is, even though he has been virtually unbeatable in Mash-Up Wrestling over the last 3.5 years, he’s interrupted by Bobby “The Brain” Heenan, who comes down to the ring with Vader, the biggest and baddest member of the Heenan Family (and current Trios Champions).
Heenan welcomes Heyman and Lesnar to the Temple and introduces him to his star client. Heenan tells Heyman that if he and Lesnar are so unimpressed with the calibre of opponent for Lesnar at Ultima Lucha, then they should consider defending the Mash-Up World Championship against Vader. Heyman and Lesnar share a laugh, which infuriates Vader and gets Heenan steamed. Heyman responds by acknowledging that Vader is an impressive wrestler, but says that he is a big fish in a small, underground, lucha libre pond and that he, too, is no challenge for his client. That said, his client welcomes the opportunity to impress the world by showing that the Beast Incarnate is more ferocious than the Mastadon, and then asks Heenan to consider whether “you truly want your client to challenge my client” because if he does, then he must be prepared to lose his star candidate because if the Mastadon should ever meet the Beast Incarnate in the middle of the ring, the Mastadon will learn that the Beast Incarnate is a conqueror and the Beast Incarnate will make the Mastadon go extinct. Heenan responds by asking if Heyman’s ever truly met a Mastadon, because if he had, then he would understand its awesome power. Whereas it seems like he hasn’t, Heenan says, he’ll gladly let Heyman witness what a Mastadon can do right now.
And with that, Vader rushes Lesnar and slams him into the corner. He beats down Lesnar, which puts Heyman on the brink of a heart attack. However, Lesnar fights up and tackles Vader. All of Lucha Underground’s referees and ring crew try to break up the fight, but fail. The fight leaves the ring and goes all around ringside, then starts making its way up the concrete steps in the wooden bleacher area. As they fight up on the small mezzanine, both bloodied, battered, and bruised, they end up above Dario Cueto’s office. There, Lesnar manages to lift Vader onto his shoulders. It looks like he’s going to F-5 Vader off of the office to the floor below! However, before he can execute the F-5, Vader elbows him and then clubs him down with a wicked lariat.
At this moment, Pentagon Jr. enters the ring, completely unseen by Heyman and Heenan. He walks up behind Heenan and gives him a lung blower. Heyman immediately bails out of the ring out of an instinct for self-preservation. Pentagon Jr., as we know holds a grudge against the Heenan Family. As Vader sets up to powerbomb Lesnar off of Dario Cueto’s office, Pentagon Jr. grabs the mic and, in turn, his attention when he tells Vader that he has approxiamately 10 seconds to try to stop him from breaking Heenan’s arm. Vader lets go of Lesnar and makes a dash back towards the stairs as Pentagon Jr. sets up Heenan to be Sacrificed. Vader has only reached the stairs when Pentagon Jr. makes the hand gesture that he has “Cero Miedo!” But just then, Heenan is saved by an unlikely source: Samoa Joe! Pentagon Jr. is sent packing from the ring. He and Joe stare each other down as Vader arrives to check on Heenan. Pentagon Jr. threatens revenge and Joe tells him to try.
However, things don’t end there. Just when you thought it was over, Lesnar returns to the ring and blindsides Vader with a vicious attack. Joe turns around to see what happened, but he’s caught off-guard as he walks right into an F-5! Then, Vader gets an F-5! The show ends with Lesnar having conquered the ring and Heyman laughing like a maniac.

Programming note: Next week, Cesaro will have to defend the Lucha Underground Championship against Ultimo Dragon, who turned in the Gift of the Gods just one week after winning it. Will Ultimo Dragon finally win the prestigious championship or will Cesaro’s reign atop of lucha libre continue? Plus, Aerostar has a score to settle with PJ Black. Those matches and more will happen on the next episode of Lucha Underground. Don’t miss it!
