Bad News Brown, Baron Corbin & Dean Ambrose defeated Big Ryck & The Crew by pinfall to retain the Trios Championships. There was plenty of friction between the Trios Champions. Brown pointed the finger at both Corbin and Ambrose and ordered them not to fuck this up for him. Oddly enough, Ambrose offered to shake hands with Corbin, but he just gave him a look of disgust. Although it looked like the champions were going to implode at any second, they managed to keep it together long enough to win the match. Corbin scrambled Castro Cortez’s brains with the End of Days on the floor. Ambrose nailed Mr. Cisco with a suicide dive and then gave him Dirty Deeds on the floor. Meanwhile, Bad News Brown fought his way out of the set up for the Ryck Bottom and nailed Big Ryck with the Ghetto Blaster. He then pinned him for the win. Corbin grabbed his title from the time keeper and exited down the dark corridor while his partners collected their titles and celebrated the team’s win individually rather than together.

Awesome Kong defeated Sexy Star by pinfall to become the new Lucha Underground Luchadoras Champion. It was an intense contest as both luchadoras gave it everything they had. Awesome Kong enjoyed the power advantage, while Sexy Star had speed and lucha libre technique on her side. Sexy Star had to employ a hit-and-run strategy, as the risk of staying too close to Awesome Kong was great. Eventually, during one of Sexy Star’s incoming attacks, a missile dropkick attempt, Awesome Kong sidestepped it and then gave Sexy Star a huge side belly-to-belly suplex. Now, it would be hard for her to get some distance from the challenger. Awesome Kong stormed right back into the match with a standing splash, a sidewalk slam, a two-handed sitout chokeslam, and a seated senton. Sexy Star refused to stay down.
Taking advantage of Dario Cueto’s policy to have referee exercise leniency during title matches, Awesome Kong lifted Sexy Star into a military press and threw her out to the floor. She left the ring and went to work on her. Sexy Star was wipped into the wooden seats at ringside. She was picked up in a lateral press and had her lower back driven into the turnbuckle post a few times. Awesome Kong prepared to powerbomb her on Matt Stryker and Vampiro’s announce table, but Sexy Star countered with an eye rake. Then, she grabbed the bell from the timekeeper’s position and clocked Awesome Kong over the head with it. The fighting continued to go back and forth and they ended up in one of the riser sections of seating. Awesome Kong charged at Sexy Star, but she ducked and Kong went over the rail and down to the floor! Sexy Star followed up with a diving cross body! She struggled to drag Awesome Kong to the side of the ring and get her in it. Instead, she had to enter the ring and wait for Awesome Kong to come in. Sexy Star waited with a chair in hand. She swung it at Awesome Kong, who through her arm and shoulder into it to block and then chokeslammed Sexy Star with her free hand. Awesome Kong picked up Sexy Star and gave her an Awesome Bomb onto the steel chair. She left her laying there and then climbed the turnbuckle and gave her an Awesome Splash! 1…2…3! Awesome Kong wins the Luchadoras Championship for the fifth time!

We go inside of Dario Cueto’s office. He’s pouring himself a glass of tequila. As he does, he hears a knock and says, “Enter!” It is Prince Puma. He walks in, with his ribs heavily taped. If you will remember, a few weeks ago, Prince Puma was the victim of six Vader Bombs and had to be wheeled out of The Temple on a stretcher. Prince Puma tells Cueto that he wants a spot in Ultima Lucha. Cueto thinks that he doesn’t look ready for it, but he feels like he’s in a giving mood, so he’ll grant him his wish. “Classy” Freddie Blassie walks in as he is saying that and tells Prince Puma that he’s not ready to compete. Puma tells him that he’s going to enter the match and he’s going to win it. Blassie says that he can't let him go into the match and get himself killed. Prince Puma says that he's going to be in the match and there is nothing he can do to stop him. Blassie tells him that if he enters the match, it might end his career and he cannot in good conscious stand by and allow that to happen. Prince Puma tells me that if that is the case, then his services won't be needed anymore.

Cesaro and Rey Mysterio Jr. fought to a new contest. Last week, Mysterio turned in the Gift of the Gods to Dario Cueto, granting him a chance to win the Lucha Underground Championship. Cesaro and Mysterio were engaged in an excellent contest that saw Mysterio bust out several high risk, high flying maneuvers. As the match progressed, Cesaro began to counter Mysterio’s aerial offense with European uppercuts, each one seemingly taking Mysterio’s head off. Of course, Cesaro also put Mysterio in the Cesaro Swing for what seemed like forever. Surprising the entire audience, Mysterio kicked out of a pinfall after receiving the Neutralizer. Needing to put Mysterio away, Cesaro went to the corner to give him a Neutralizer from off of the second turnbuckler, but Mysterio countered with a frankensteiner. Moments later, Mysterio hit him with the Six-One-Nine.
As he stood on the ring apron, waiting to finish off Cesaro with the West Coast Pop, Mysterio was pulled down and thrown into the rows of wooden chairs at ringside by Chris Jericho, who then went into the ring and gave Cesaro the Codebreaker before putting him in the Walls of Jericho. Mysterio eventually got back up and broke up the Walls with a springboard missile dropkick. He went on to hit Jericho with the Six-One-Nine and a springboard seated senton. After neutralizing Jericho, Mysterio turned around to look at Cesaro, who was scrambling to his feet. Suddenly, the lights went out.
When they came back on, a frightening luchador had Mysterio in his death grip. Flatliner! Cesaro tried to attack him, but was taken out with a spear and a Flatliner! Jericho took one look at him and decided to hightail it up the stairs and out of sight. Then, an equally mysterious woman, dressed in black and holding a stone in her hand entered the ring. One at a time, she sat down on Cesaro and Mysterio, bent in real close and licked their faces. She stood back up, held the stone high in the air and led the intimidating luchador out of the arena.
