Cesaro successfully retained the Lucha Underground Championship when he defeated Big Ryck by submission. Predictably, Castro Cortez and Mr. Cisco got involved on the behalf of the leader of their crew, giving Cesaro a belly-to-back suplex into a backstabber, which allowed Big Ryck to take over. However, Cesaro regained control after executing a springboard corkscrew European uppercut. As Cesaro set up Ryck for the Neutralizer, Cortez and Cisco jumped into the ring, forcing Cesaro to defend himself against both of them. With the referee presumably under strict orders to allow interference, they were able to make it so that Big Ryck could execute the Ryck Bottom on him. 1…2… a diving elbow by Son of Havoc breaks up the pin! His involvement in the match comes from out of left field. He fights off all three guys briefly, but the numbers game catches up to him and he’s taken out. However, Cesaro recovers and knocks The Crew out of the ring before getting Big Ryck in a crossface, forcing him to tap out.

We enter Dario Cueto’s office, where we find Sensational Sherri. She’s there on behalf of “The Animal” Batista. She demands that Cueto put Samoa Joe in a match against Batista next week, promising that if he does, “The Animal” will paint the inside of the Temple’s industrial factory walls red with Joe’s blood. Cueto says that Sherri knows exactly how to get whatever she wants from him.

Victoria defeated Paige by pinfall. This was a violent brawl that saw both competitors brawl outside of the ring for a long time. Victoria threw Paige into the ringside seats not once, but twice. Later, they ended up by the hardwood benches and Victoria set up for a piledriver, only to have Paige reverse it with back body drop. When they made it back into the ring, Paige went to the top rope to try to give Victoria a missile dropkick, but she moved out of the way. Then, Victoria nailed her with a superkick and followed it up with the Widow’s Peak to win the match.

Chris Jericho enters Dario Cueto’s office to give Cueto a list of 1004 reasons why he deserves a match for the Lucha Underground Championship. Cueto understands that Jericho is one of the best wrestlers in the world, but says that he didn’t prove that he was the best in the world at what he does when he failed to win the Lucha Underground Championship tournament. Therefore, he wants Jericho to convince him that deserves a title shot and says that he’ll give him one if he can defeat Ultimo Dragon in a match next week. Jericho says that’s perfect because he’s got a bone to pick with him, anyway.

VS. VS.
The unlikely trio of Bad News Brown, Dean Ambrose & Baron Corbin defeated The Heenan Family and Kurt Angle, Prince Puma & Rey Mysterio to become the first Lucha Underground Trios Champions. As you can expect, with nine competitors involved in the match, the action was fast paced from the opening bell to closing bell. There was never a dull moment. High octane offense was on display inside the ring and out, with plenty of brawling taking place all around ringside. Just over thirteen minutes into the match, Prince Puma caught Vader with an enzuigiri kick by the ropes and then Angle clotheslined him out of the ring. Corbin attacked Angle from behind as Puma ran the ropes to go for a dive outside, but Anderson intercepted with a Double A Spinebuster. Then, he and Blanchard gave Puma a spike piledriver and piled on him for a double pin. 1-2-3. Several minutes later, Blanchard gave Brown a slingshot suplex, but was then given the End of Days by Corbin, who was clotheslined clear out of the ring by Vader. They began to brawl outside of the ring. Meanwhile, Anderson and Ambrose were brawling when Anderson sent Ambrose into the ropes to give him his Double A Spinebuster. Ambrose countered with a Lunatic Lariat. Vader returned to break up the fall, but was later forced out of the ring by Brown and Ambrose. Ambrose took him out with a plancha suicida. Anderson and Blanchard double teamed Brown and set up for the spike piledriver, but Corbin broke it up, giving Anderson the End of Days, and Brown hit Blanchard with a Ghetto Blaster. They both argued over who would register the fall before pinning both of their opponents at the same time. 1-2-3!
