Paige & Victoria defeated Sexy Star & Ivelisse by pinfall. Just after Sexy Star put Victoria in the cross armbreaker, Paige executed a diving leg drop on her. A brawl ensued, which led to Paige giving Sexy Star the Ram-Paige DDT. Ivelisse then took Paige out of the ring with a dropkick and then leapt out on her with a plancha. While that was happening, Victoria gave Sexy Star the Widow’s Peak and pinned her for the win.

We go to Dario Cueto’s office, where tension fills the air. Both Rey Mysterio Jr. and Bad News Brown are standing in the office and they can barely keep from tearing each other apart. Cueto says that he has asked them both to meet with him to tell them that since they cannot both be in his Temple at the same time without brawling all over it, he has decided that they are going to have a Gift of the Gods title rematch next week. However, this one will be fought under Falls Count Anywhere rules. After a few words are exchanged, Cueto senses that they are ready to fight now, so he tells them to wait until next week, but begs them to keep it out of his office because he just had his liquor cabinet restocked and if they break anything in it, there will be hell to pay.

Aerostar defeated Tyler Breeze by pinfall. Aerostar got out of the way of a Beauty Shot and then gave Breeze a wheelbarrow facebuster. After that, he executed an imploding 450 splash to secure the win. While celebrating his win, Breeze attacked Aerostar from behind. PJ Black came out to make the save. As Black and Breeze were exchanging punches, Aerostar recovered and climbed the top turnbuckle. Black hit Breeze with a right hand hard enough to turn him around. Then, Aerostar went from a diving somersault senton, but Breeze moved and Aerostar took out Black instead. Aerostar checked on Black, but then Breeze knocked him out with a Beauty Shot. When Black got up, he took one look at Aerostar, but chose to leave the ring without him.

Batista & Samoa Joe defeated Psicosis & La Parka by pinfall. Batista and Joe did not appear to be on the same page and Joe turned a cold shoulder to Sherri while she was barking orders at him. Still, they managed to keep it together in order to get the win. Joe gave Psicosis a Muscle Buster and pinned him for the win. La Parka came to break it up with a steel chair, but Batista took him out with a spear to stop him.

We go to Dario Cueto’s office, where he congratulates Paige and Victoria for working together well as a team. He makes a point of mentioning how Victoria pinned the Luchadoras Champion. Paige says that was thanks to her executing the Ram-Paige DDT. Victoria disagrees, saying she gave her the Widow’s Peak to put her away and win the match. They bicker over who should get credit for the victory, leading Cueto to tell them that because they can’t agree on who did the most to make Sexy Star lose, they will both get a chance to beat her for her championship. Next week, it will be Sexy Star vs. Paige vs. Victoria for the Luchadoras Championship!

Prince Puma defeated Kurt Angle by pinfall to win the Lucha Underground Championship tournament. This was an intense battle that saw both men pull out everything they had and then some. Prince Puma popped the crowd with a shooting star press from the elevated stands to the floor! Kurt Angle responded some time later with a moonsault plancha from the corner turnbuckle! Both moves earned “Holy shit!” chants. After countless 2-count pinfalls, Puma appeared to be on the cusp of victory. He executed his 630 somersault senton bomb, but Angle got a shoulder up. Later, Angle took Puma to the mat with an Angle Slam from off of the turnbuckle, but it took him a while to make the pin and so Puma got a shoulder up at two and a three-quarters. After some more back-and-forth wrestling, Puma executed the 2-point Benadryller and then successfully landed another 630 somersault senton bomb for the 1-2-3!
When everyone thought that this was the end of the show, the sound of a trumpet blared, signalling that Dario Cueto was there. Cueto congratulated Puma on outlasting fifteen other men in the Lucha Underground Championship tournament, but then told him that there was one little problem with his celebration: he had not yet won the tournament. That’s when Cueto revealed that it was a 17-man tournament and to win the right to wrestle Cesaro for the Lucha Underground Championship next week, he would have to win one more match against Vader, right now! “Ring the bell!”
VS.
Vader defeated Prince Puma by pinfall to win the Lucha Underground Championship tournament. Vader won the match in about four minutes flat. Defeating the Mastadon was too tall a task for Puma after battling Angle for over 25-minutes. While the match took place, a pissed off “Classy” Freddie Blassie responded to taunts and heckling from Bobby “The Brain” Heenan by chasing him with his cane, which resulted in Vader coming out of the ring and knocking Blassie out with a big meat hook clothesline. This led to Puma getting angry and attacking Vader. Unfortunately, his rally was short lived and the moment of hope was fleeting, as Vader fought back. Vader had his way with Puma, executing a Vader Bomb to finish him off.
