WCW Monday Nitro
The First Episode of Forever
Live From The Georgia Dome
In Atlanta, GA!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As the theme song of WCW Monday Nitro comes to a close, we aren't taken to inside the arena. Instead video clips of some of the greatest wrestlers to ever step foot inside of a wrestling ring begin to play. Video of Sting turning over a Scorpion Deathlock. Ravishing Rick Rude dropping The Rude Awakening. Ricky The Dragon Steamboat flying off the top rope. Brian Pillman launching himself. Big Van Vader connecting with a moonsault! The Steiner Brothers nailing an opponent with a top rope clothesline! The final image we see is of The Nature Boy , Ric Flair shouting out a woo before locking in a Figure Four Leg Lock! The images slowly fade and a voice is heard, that voice describes the hole that was left in the heart of wrestling fans, the day Vince McMahon received an email from Logan Boggs, looking for a way to climb out o WCW's financial crisis. Vince McMahon bought WCW, and on that day he bought the soul of WCW fans. What Vince did with it? Nothing. Which is even worse then selling the souls to the devil himself. Worse then not taking those fans souls, and destroying them. Instead he did nothing, leaving WCW fans in an never ending purgatory. The hole in their hearts could only be filled by a return, a return of true wrestling, the return of W....C....W......
The images fades into the SOLD OUT arena where thousands of fans are packed into The Georgia Dome to WITNESS the return of World Championship Wrestling! There is suddenly a HUGE chant of " WCW! WCW! WCW!" The camera continues to pan around the arena, looking at all of the signs from fans, and WCW merchandise from yester-year! A huge pyro explosion goes off that sends the fans into an even bigger frenzy! The camera stops panning and rests on two men, the one and only Gorilla Monsoon, and alongside him is Sean Mooney!
Gorilla Monsoon: Welcome everyone to Atlanta, Georgia! Welcome everyone TO THE GEORGIA DOME! Welcome to World Championship Wrestling....and WEEEELCOME TO WCW MONDAY NITRO! I'm Gorilla Monsoon and alongside me is my partner , Sean Mooney! Sean, this place is ELECTRIC! I can barely hear myself think! The fans are fired up, I'm thrilled to be here! This certainly has all the makings of a historic night, with the feel of a big time wrestling event!
Sean Mooney: You've got that right Gorilla! This is unreal! I'm so honored to be a part of all of this, when I got the phone call, and heard about the opportunity, and who I would be working next too...I couldn't pass it up! This is an amazing opportunity, an amazing night, great fans, I just can't wait to get this all underway!
Gorilla Monsoon: Sean, I've been instructed to tell the fans, you can trust that WCW is back, better then ever, and here to stay! No buy outs coming, this isn't a "make shift" WCW. This isn't a ONE TIME only event. This is World Championship Wrestling , back on TNT, back in your living rooms, and back into the hearts of wrestling fans across the globe!
Sean Mooney: It truly is deafening in here, Gorilla!
Gorilla Monsoon: You can say that again, Sean! Folks, without further ado, lets get you to ringside to bring the man who is making allllll of this possible!
The crowd goes silent as the ring announcer stands in the middle of the ring. The man says " Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome part owner of World Championship Wrestling........"Sean Mooney: You've got that right Gorilla! This is unreal! I'm so honored to be a part of all of this, when I got the phone call, and heard about the opportunity, and who I would be working next too...I couldn't pass it up! This is an amazing opportunity, an amazing night, great fans, I just can't wait to get this all underway!

THE CROWD JUMPS TO THEIR FEET! Eric Bischoff emerges from the curtains with his hands raised in the air, not in a cocky manner, but in a gracious manner. Bischoff takes a few steps and almost looked overwhelmed with emotion. He bows to the fans as he puts his hands together and says " Thank you!" Bischoff makes his way to the ring to an incredible ovation. He gets into the ring with a microphone truly looking emotional.
Eric Bischoff: THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! Sincerely, from the bottom of my very heart, and despite what you may have heard, I do have one, I THANK YOU all humbly and graciously! I've usually not a man of few words, but all I can say is...WOW. You fans....YOU FANS who have been ROBBED for YEARS of World Championship Wrestling action! YOU FANS are here, you've packed this place in less then ONE WEEK since the announcement of the return of WCW. Just....wow. First and foremost, I want to APOLOGIZE to all of you, for not doing a better job. I want you to all know I fought tooth and nail to gain control of WCW, and keep it going strong, but I just couldn't play the financial game with the big dogs. However, that all changed , with the help of several backers, and you know who you are...and an opportunity to leave my position with TNA...this became not only possible...BUT...a reality! We have signed some of the best available talent in the free agent market. Names like....Brian Pillman! ....Names like CURT HENNIG....names like....The Steiner Brothers! Trust me, plenty more where those names came from! No more shenanigans either guys, seriously, this is about wrestling, this is about ME being the president and owener of WCW and making sure that I provide to you wrestling, and only that. I do not want to be coming out here addressing you all each and every week. That is what the talent is for. You've seen enough of my ugly mug on you TV screen to last you a couple of life times! I will be making announcements from time to time, especially to the ball rolling here over the next week weeks. I mean after all.....we've got a WORLD CHAMPION TO CROWN!
The crowd erupts as Bischoff smiles and the crowd breaks out into a "GOLLLDDDDBERRRRRG" chant.
Eric Bischoff: Goldberg? Do you guys know something that I don't know? All of you fans have poured your heart and souls into being here tonight, we've sold out THE GEORGIA DOME in less then ONE WEEK. With almost ZERO promoting. Do you know how amazing of a feat that is? It's astonishing. So what we are going to do.....is crown ourselves.....as a thank you to all of you....We've got a TWO HOURS tonight on TNT for our return, we've got 70,000 people jam packed into the Georgia Dome....I THINK WE FIND OURSELVES TWO CONTENDERS TO FIGHT FOR THE WCW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP AT OUR VERY FIRST RETURN PAY PER VIEW Fall Brawl...RIGHT HERE....TONIGHT!
The crowd erupts at this announcement!
Eric Bischoff: We're going to have ourselves a good ol' fashion 29 man rumble tonight ! THE LAST TWO MEN STANDING WILL BE THE NUMBER ONE CONTENDERS FOR THE WCW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP AND WILL MEET AT FALL BRAWL..........
WHAT A MASSIVE ERUPTION FROM THE FANS AS THE ALLLLLLLL TO FAMILIAR MUSIC OF THE NEW WORLD ORDER HITS. A slight smirk comes over the face of Eric Bischoff. The crowd is chanting like crazy " NWO! NWO! NWO!" Bischoff holds the mic down by his side as the " new new new new new world order" continues to play out. Still no sign of anybody walking through the entrance way. The music is hitting about the 20 second mark as anticipation builds....... anddddddd......
Scott Hall and Kevin Nash begin to emerge from a section in the crowd. Fans are going INSANE in attempts to grab them and slap them on the back. Fans holding up their old nWo shirts! Nash is nodding his head to the music as he walks through the crowd. Hall and Nash step over the guard rail as Eric Bischoff claps his hands together and nods showing them respect. The two men get into the ring as the music slowly fades. Hall has a microphone in his back pocket......he takes the mic out of his pocket and slolwy raises it to his mouth....but he doesn't say a word...for a few moments and then.....
Kevin Nash: HEY E! Don't play this game. You remember how it was going last time you didn't want to play ball? It wasn't working out so well for you! You didn't have a SOUL that could stop us then, and YOU don't have a soul that could STOP US NOW! You know it, I know it, the whole entire locker room knows it! We're The Al Capone's of this sport! UNTOUCHABLE....YOU WANT TO PLAY HARDBALL....SCREW IT...WE'LL PLAY!
Halls walks around Bischoff and wraps his hand around his neck, shouting in his ear " You' think this is a game, chico!?" Nash puts the mic down and is now chest to face with Bischoff, intimindating him. Bischoff looks nervous, but remains calm, until Nash grabs him by his shirt. Nash says " It hasn't changed, you're either with us....or you're......." Before NASH can finish his words THE lights in the arena go OUT!
The WCW Big Screen turns on and we are taken backstage where a DOOR BURSTS OPEN...
The camera shows GOLDBERG bursting through a door as the CROWD ERUPTS. Goldberg is flanked by a LARGE security crew. During the reaction of Nash and Hall, Bischoff was able to leave the ring! Nash takes off his shirt, and removes his gold rolex as Hall tosses the toothpick that was in his mouth aside! The two face the entrance way as PYROS FILL THE ENTRANCE WAY....and when the smoke clears...BILL GOLDBERG is standing in the middle of the entrance way! He lets out a giant "ROAR" and CHARGES THE RING! Goldberg runs under the bottom ropes and DUCKS a wild SWING by Nash. When he ducks the swing, HE RUNS RIGHT INTO SCOTT HALL WITH A SPEAR!
Goldberg jumps to his feet as Nash attacks! The two men trade blows back and forth! Nash hits a Knee to the gut and drives Goldberg back into the corner, he connects with a back elbow smash before throwing Goldberg into the ropes! Nash goes for a BIG BOOT but Goldberg DUCKS IT! HE hits the ropes, bounces back and SPEARS NASH! Nash quickly rolls out of the ring as Goldberg leaps to his feet and looks for someone else to hit! By this time, NASH AND HALL have rolled out of the ring. Eric Bischoff is halfway up the entrance way nodding and applauding. He gives Goldberg a thumbs up but Goldberg doesn't really even acknowledged it! Goldberg is TOO fired up as he looks at the fans for more of a reaction , and boy to they oblige!

Opening Match:
Brian Pillman defeated Tito Santana via pinfall in 12:34
The Opening match of World Championship Wrestling featured Brian Pillman locking up with Tito Santana. WCW wanted to give the fans a VERY familiar face, as well as some talented entertainment. They got just that. Santana and Pillman put on one hell of a show. A fast paced action packed match, featuring some high risk moves. Pillman, who has had a history of being able to fly with the best of them has switched up his style somewhat, to include alot of more brawling, and vicious attacks. The fans actually ate it up. Pillman didn't hesitate to smash Santana's face into a steel post several times through the contest when it would spill to the outside. When the action got back into the ring, Santana was able to gain an advantage, as he whipped Pillman into the ropes, Pillman didn't take the bump into the corner, instead he used the momentum to run and jump onto the turnbuckle. Santana ran into follow but Pillman launched himself with a MOONSAULT! He caught Santana completely off guard, hooking the leg and picking up the victory for the first win in this version of WCW History.
After the match, Santana wanted to show some respect, and appreciaiton for a good first match. He extended his hand to Pillman, offering up a "job well done" , what happened next should have been expected. Pillman literally SPIT in the face of Tito Santana, and as Santana wiped the glob of spit from his face, Pillman nailed him with a enziguiry like kick to the back of the head, essentially knocking out the legend, Santana. Pillman looked for a camera to announce that he would be looking to capture that main event spot in the rumble tonight! Gorilla Monsoon is not impressed with the cheap shot by Brian Pillman, but Sean Mooney says he wasn't impressed with the lack of awareness from Santana. You have to know Pillman isn't trustworthy in anyway!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We get out first look at WCW announcer, Todd Pettengill. He is standing by with one of the most recent WCW signing, Owen Hart. The crowd cheers as Owen appears on the big screen. Todd asks Owen about the opportunity tonight to be the main event as WCW's Fall Brawl. Owen looks at Todd and shakes his head. He insults Todd for asking such a typical question. " You're first WCW interview, with a guy who is going to go on to become the face of World Championship Wrestling, and that's what you ask?" Owen says he doesn't expect Todd to be around very long with basic questions like that, but what he does expect is to enter the WCW Monday Nitro Rumble tonight, and be one of the last two men standing. He's going to go on to claim The WCW Heayweight Title, and show the world that not only is he the best wrestler in his family, but he is the best wrestler in the world!
That's when a man walks into the frame...and it's....Diamond Dallas Page! DDP Smiles at Owen, sticks his hand out to introduce himself, but gets NO reaction from Owen other then an icy glare. DDP says " I don't know how they handle that kind of smug reaction up in Calgary, but in Jersey, you'd get the taste slapped out of your mouth." DDP says he'll cut Owen a break right now, being this is his first venture into WCW. But when the bell rings tonight, he won't be so lucky. He warns Owen not to count his chickens before they hatch, and if he plans on going to Fall Brawl to fight in the main event, he's going to have to go through D....D......P... The crowd chants along with DDP as he spells out his initials for Owen. Owen doesn't budge, doesn't change his expression just watches as DDP coninues to walk right on by past the screen. Gorilla Monsoon says gives a run down of the names we have already seen here tonight! Hall,Nash, Pillman, Satana,Owen Hart and now DDP!

The crowd roars! " HALL! HALL!! HALL! HALL! HALL!"
Scott Hall: Either I just stepped into a time machine, or the band is officially back together! Big Sexy , The Bad Guy....and EASSSSYYYYYY E!
Kevin Nash: Hey E, we appreciate the show, and we know you have to do what you have to do to "play the game". But, so if you wouldn't mind just announcing to these fans that Scott and I will be entering that rumble as the last two participants, we'll go " warm up" for the big match tonight......

The crowd cheers but Bishoff looks somewhat reluctant
Eric Bischoff: Guys....guys....listen, the both of you, are going to be in the rumble tonight, and in all honesty I am going to be rooting for you both. I respect the hell out of you, your both great wrestlers and....phenomenal businessmen. With that being said.....it can't work like that this time around, I'm sorry. The numbers are being drawn in the back at random, and the number you get is the number you get. I owe it to these fans to give them a fair, unbiased product, so they know that whoever holds that title at the end of Fall Brawl, did it without any shenanigans. If we want to be dominannt once again, this is the way it has to be , it's what is best for business, and it's whats best for the entire locker room, not just the two of you.....
Kevin Nash: HA, I knew you were funny E , but you've gotten even funnier over time. Again, putting on good show for the minority owners, I get it...so Scott and I.....we'll go to the back......and "draw" our numbers.......
Hall pats Nash on the back and then holds up the nWo sign to Bischoff....waiting for a response, waiting for " Easy E" to reciprocate the gesture! Bischoff walks up to Hall, and raises his arm!
BUT BISHOFF USES IT TO PULL DOWN THE ARM OF Scott Hall. Hall looks legitimately pissed and now Nash steps in the middle.

Scheduled For One Fall
The Steiner Brothers defeated Wallstreet Inc via pinfall in 8:45
Our first WCW tag team match took place, and it featured the heavy hitting Steiner Brothers takig on Wallstreet Inc, the team featuring Michael Wallstreet and Terry Taylor! It would be an understatement to say that The Steiner Brothers dominated this match, but we'll say it anyway. The Steiners controlled every aspect of this match until Wallstreet used his breifcase to connect to the back of the head of Rick Steiner. That momentum changed would only last a moment, as it didn't take long for Rick to tag in little brother Scott. Scotty went through Taylor and Wallstreet before delivering a frankensteiner in the center of the ring. He was able to get the three count. After the match, Scott Steiner celebrated around ringside. A fan can be heard shouting for him to " WIN THE RUMBLE TONIGHT, SCOTT!" Scott gave the fan a huge high five, and promised he'd do his best to get it done. Mooney and Monsoon declared it would be a shock to see Scott Steiner earn a spot in the main event at Fall Brawl, only due to his focus in the tag team ranks, and the kind of strain that would put on their Steiner Brothers tag team . Gorilla went on to put over Scott, calling him a power house with untapped intentional!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We go backstage where we see Scott Hall and Kevin Nash walking through the hallway. The rake a right into a locker room, and as the camera tries to invade on their privacy the door is SLAMMED shut right into the camera's lens. On the door does read a very visible sign " nWo". We head back to ringside where Gorilla and Mooney sit proudly. Two more matches are set to take place before the main event of the evening, a 28 man rumble to decide the main event at WCW'S Fall Brawl! Gorilla announces that EVERY man signed to World Championship Wrestling will be taking part in that rumble. The two men begin to discuss favorites to win it, and Gorilla mentions some of " the big guys" Big Boss Man, Akeem, and how about the 550 pound Yokozuna! He asks , who would be able to throw that behemoth out of the ring? Mooney insists we've seen it done before, it can happen again, it'll take team work from the field to make it happen, but it can happen.

Triple Threat Match
Muhammad Hassan w/ Davari def. Val Venis and Chris Masters in a triple threat match in 13:12 via submission.
WCW'S first triple threat match is a showcase for three men to prove themselves. The biggest pop went to Val Venis who got on the microphone to address the ladies in the crowd. However, he was attacked from behind by Muhammad Hassan. Chris Masters jumped in on the beat down, making it a two on one assault. The two used each other to inflict pain on Val Venis through the majority of the contest. Val Venis has his moments, but that moment was interrupted by a Davari distraction! At the 11 minute mark, Muhammad picked up a battered Val Venis, and instructed Chris Masters to lock him in the "Masterlock!" Masters nodded in fired up approval. He locked in the Master Lock, but as soon as he did that, from behind Hassan locked in a Corba Clutch! He wore down Masters to canvas, before turning the hold into a camel clutch, which eventually led to Chris Masters giving up. Once the bell rang, Hassan refused to release the hold, keeping it locked in. The official counted to four before Hassan let the hold go. Davari added a few kicks in to Masters for insult. Davari explained Hassan's attack on Val Venis...." We have no time for this nonsense." Hassan was looking to inflict as much pain as possible in World Championship Wrestling. He wanted to put as many wrestlers on the shelf as he could. He is disgusted by what wrestling has become , and says it is in line with what America has become. The heat for the foreign angle draws a big reaction. Hassan doesn't seem to care. Instead, he gives Masters who was on his hands and knees to get up, a kick to the back of the head, which knocked him back to the canvas. Hassan was about to lock him into the Camel Clutch once again but was interrupted by.....
Dustin Rhodes! Rhodes walks down to the ring shouting at Hassan not to not disrespect this country! Hassan didn't back down and challenged Rhodes to get into the ring. Rhode got one knee on the apron but then WCW officials poured out of the locker rooom to get inbetween the two men. The crowd boo'd as they were fired up to see Dustin Rhodes get some revenge on Hassan for is comments. Hassan smiles and says "Typical, all talk, no action." Rhodes is clearly fighting to get through the WCW crew but is not successful. Rhodes is forced back to the locker room area.

* Previously Recorded *
We are taken to earlier in the day, when a long stretch limousine pulled up into the loading area of The Georgia Dome. The chauffer gets out of the limo, and opens up the backdoor and out steps the one and only, "Mr. Perfect!" Perfect is chomping down on a piece of gum ,with a slick smile on his face. He is barely out of the limousine when he is approached by Todd Pettengill.
*Davari enters the rumble at #9*
It's the manager of Muhammad Hassan! The big smile of Hassan is seen on the big screen as he realizes that help is on the way! Hassan holds DDP at bay and Davari slides right under the ropes and joins in. A double team ensues on DDP from Hassan and Davari! The fan's boo heavily! Rick Steiner looks like he is about to break that up but is taken out from behind by Wallstreet! Now Davari and Hassan are trying to dump him over the top rope! DDP trying to fight them off but he is halfway over, until a well timed knee to the face of Hassan and fist to the head of Davari stalls their efforts! DDP has his feet back on the ground. In the opposite corner, Hercules is trying to again eliminate Piper but having little success as Piper thwarts those efforts with a kick to the mid section. In the center of the ring, picks up Rick Steiner and tucks him away going for a Piledriver! He lifts up Rick but can't get him all the way! Rick blocks it and BACK BODY DROPS MICHEAL WALLSTREET UP AND OVER THE TOP ROPE TO THE FLOOR! Just like Hassan to Venis earlier, for the SECOND TIME tonight The Steiner gets the better of MIchael Wallstreet!
*Michael Wallstreet has been eliminated!*
* Brian Pillman enters the rumble at #10*
The crowd roars as the buzzer hits as soon as Wallstreet is eliminated and it's BRIAN PILLMAN! Pillman showed NO MERCY in his match earlier with Tito Santana, and now he marches to the ring with a wide eyed look! Pillman charges and slides under the bottom rope and GOES FOR THE BIGGEST GUY IN THE RING! The Mighty Hercules! Pillman is unloading on Hercules, but is vshoved off, Pillman goes right back at it with Hercules! Roddy Pipper looks on and almost respects what Pillman is doing! He joins in! Piper and Pillman unloading on Hercules, kicks, punches, chops, a double dropkick! Hercules arms hang over the top rope as he rests and a DOUBLE CLOTHESLINE FROM Piper and Pillman! Hercules goes up and over to the floor!
*Hercules has been eliminated!*
The crowd cheers as now Piper and Pillman top and come nose to nose. Piper offers up his chin? And Pillman looks at the crowd, Piper dares Pillman to take a shot, and HE DOES! Spit goes flying from the mouth of Piper! But he doesn't fall! Now it's Pillman who places his hands behind his back and dares Piper to do the same! Piper takes a shot! Pillman has SPIT fly from his mouth BUT he doesn't go down! The crowd is loving it. Piper agrees that it's Pillmans turn as Monsoon and Mooney agree that BOTH of these guys are nuts! As Piper prepares for another punch from pillman, both men are taken off of their feet by an attack made by Davari and Hassan. DDP recovers quietly in the corner, as does Rick Steiner in another corner.
Hassan and Davari's attack on Pillman and Piper does not last long as they both turn the tide! Pillman hits a DDT out of NO WHERE on Davari and Piper with an inverted atomic drop on Hassan! The clock ticks again as we are about to find out who drew number 11!
* Doug Furnas enters the rumble at #11*
It's Doug Furnas! He comes jogging down to the ring, wasting no time in mixing it up. He goes right for DDP, despite the fans disapproval. The fans has been behind DDP big time in this rumble, as well as Piper and surprisingly the off balance Brian Pillman! Their most hated entrant far away as been the untrustworthy Hassan. Furnas using his power to pick up DDP off the apron to go for the eliination, but DDP BITES the forehead of Furnas to keep him as bay. Furnas is in great shape, and we truley believe that he and Lafon could be THE tag team here in WCW. But right now, Furnas wants to become the WCW Heavyweight Champion! He wants the shot at Fall Brawl and he is doing everything he can to prove it! Furnas continues his fight with DDP, resorting to some back elbow smashes! Their one on one is broken up by an invading Rick Steiner. Steiner goes for Furnas and thsoe two begin to trade blows! The crowd loves it! Certainly a Can Am-Steiner Brothers battle would be a match to highlight any card! As those two trade blows, and counters the attention is soaked up by Brian Pillman who finds himself in dangerous territory by his own doing. He was on the top rope, attempting to launch a cross body to Hassan, but Davari SHOOK the ropes, sending Pillman crotch first on the turnbuckle. Now Davari is trying to shove him off but Pillman is holding on using only his fists. His feet are dangling over his head as Hassan attempts to come in help finish the job! Pillman manages to kick HAssan in the face , then kick Davari in the face! Pillman forces himself back into a seated position on the turnbuckle before standing on the rop rope once again and FLYING CROSS BODY TO BOTH DAVARI AND HASSAN! The crowd pops huge!
* The Big Bossman enters the rumble at #12*
The ring is REALLY starting to fill up with some beef now, as The Big Bossman comes jogging out to join the action. The Bossman gets right into the ring and see's an opportunity instantly. He charges in on Both Doug Furnas and Rick Steiner who were battling in a corner and connects with a BIG SPLASH! Squashing Rick into Furnas and both men into the turnbuckles! 8 men are in the ring as they continue to battle about. Monsoon mentions that this is now where is gets tricky! You can easily tear a knee by just stepping over an opponent in an attempt to hit somebody else with a move. Hassan is being double teamed now by Piper and Pillman, Davari has yet to recover from the flying cross body that he was hit with. Pillman and Piper with a double suplex! Because the rign is so crowded the legs of Hassan strike an unsuspecting Big Bossman in the back of the head who falls to the canvas, right on top of Rick Steiner! The bodies are really starting to pile up in the ring! The camera catches a shot of Hassan who was almost just eliminatd by Roddy Piper but was able to swing himself back in under the bottom rope. A huge pop from the crowd as Piper and Pillman trade blows again, and once again they are daring each other to hit harder and harder. Pillman takes a wild one that Piper ducks and Piper locks Pillman up in the sleeper hold! " It's time to say goodnight!" a shouting Sean Mooney exlcaims, as Pillman fights and fights but is indeeded starting to be knocked out! It looks as the the buzzer sound of another entrant awakens Pillman, as he locks his arms around the head of Piper and sits out of a NASTY jaw breaker! Who is entrant number 13?

*Scott Norton enters the rumble at # 13*
It's BIG BAD Scott Norton! Norton who picked up a win earlier tonight, jsut before the start of the rumble over Bart Gunn, makes his way to the ring, Monsoon puts over the size of the guys in the ring with Bossman, and now Norton. Mooney mentions that there is one more man much larger then the both of them. Gorilla guesses Akeem, so Mooney corrects himself. TWO more men and one of them is 550 lbs of Yokozuna! Norton gets into the ring and begins to take wacks at JUST about anyone and everyone! He catches a flying Brian Pillman in the air, and rams him into the corner. He tosses him to the canvas to see Doug Furnas charging at him, but Norton side steps his charger and throws him SHOULDER FIRST into the corner! Furnas's shoulder may have just been separatedafter the crash into the turnbuckle! Davari now on his feet charges at Scott Norton and HITS THE BIG MAN with a DROP KICK! But Norton barely takes a step back! Davari gets on his feet and ALMOST has his head taken off with a CLOTHESLINE from Norton! Hassan see's this and takes exception! He goes after Norton and Now it's Hassan and Scott Norton battling it out!

Its starting to be tough to keep track of all the action, and Monsoon mentions that he is impressed that we have only seen FOUR eliminations thus far. It means that everyone seems to be keeping their head on a swivel in there. Eric Bischoff who has remained silent the majority of the match, chimes in that he is just in awe of the talented roster that has been able to be assembled here, and feels beyond blessed to have a second chance to make WCW the number one promotion in the world. He says this Rumble is a true showcase of the talented men that are signed with WCW! The camera zooms in on Big Bossman who is putting alllllll of his weight on the throat of Rick Steiner in the corner! Shoving his foot right across the throat as Rick kicks his feet in panic! Bossman actually kicks Steiner to the ringside floor, but it's NOT an elimination as Rick Steiner was simply shoved under the bottom rope! Our countdown starts to pick up again, and It's DDP who is making some noise in the ring now, As he and Bossman are exchanging blows. DDP not backing down goes for THE DIAMOND CUTTER but Bossman shoves DDP off and DDP is shvoed right into a SUPER KICK by Davari! THE BUZZER SOUNDS!
*Scott Hall enters the rumble at # 14*
AND IT'S SCOTT HALL! Gorilla jokes that he was begining to doubt Bischoff, thinking Hall and Nash did draw the last two numbers. The cool, familiar, and destructive music of The nWo draws the attention of almost the entire ring. Hall is in NO HURRY to get into the action. Monsoon says it's a smart move and move guys should be doing the same thing. Piper seems to be the most vocal in telling Hall to get himself to the ring, standing there challenging the bad guy! Hall slowly removes his nWo shirt as Piper even holds the hope open for him. But Piper is hit in the side of the head and falls THROUGH the ropes tot he floor byt Muhammad Hassan! Piper lands right in front of Scott Hall and Hall preceeds to put the boots to him. Hall even picks up Piper and WHIPS him RIGHT into the steel steps. He gives him a slap in the head for good measure and gets into the ring. Hall is confronted by DDP next! DDP swings and Hall ducks, and slaps DDP across the face. Then sends a toothpick he had behind his ear right into the face of DDP! This enrages DDP who charges at Hall and the two also end up in a school yard style brawl in the middle of this rumble! Mooney again mentions it's been quite some time since we've had an elimination and that man was the mighty Hercules!
Hall comes away with the upper hand on DDP, connecting with a side suplex in the middle of the ring. Rick Steiner gets back in into the ring after being previously push out by Big Bossman, and he looks for his revenge. Officials are checking in on Doug Furnas who is holding on to his shoulder. They are telling Furnas to leave the ring to speak with a doctor, but Furnas is refusing the medical attention. Furnas instead jumps into the middle of the action, only able to use his left hand! Hall notices this and takes FULL advantage of it. Almost toying with Furnas as he dances around him and connects with a right hand follow by an arm wrench, into a take down, and a slap to the back of the head! Hassan and Brian Pillman mixing it up in one of the corners as they struggle for better positioning. Hall is disrespecting everyone in their from Piper to DDP, to now Doug Furnas. He wisely tries to talk Scott Norton into a double team on Rick Steiner and he agrees! They pick up Steiner and slam him down with what looks like a DOUBLE power bomb. The clock begins to count down again as the fans count along with it! Ten....Nine....Eight...Seven.....Six...Five........
*Goldberg enters the rumble at #15*
The crowd ERUPTS inside the Georgia Dome! The fireworks go off, and Bill Goldberg walks through the fire and , literally breathing smoke! The entire ring stops as they watch Goldberg come bursting through the pyro! Most notably, Scott Hall. He looks as nervous as a worm on a hook! Goldberg points right at Hall and charges to the ring! Hall shoves Scott Norton in front of him....SPEAR BY GOLDBERG TO SCOTT NORTON! Hall leaps through the ropes and to the floor! Davari tries to punch Goldberg, and Goldberg SMILES at Davari. He lifts Davari UP over his head and THROWS HIM HIGH AND FAR OVER THE TOP ROPE!
*Davari has been Elimianted!*
Goldberg is NAILED from behind by The Big Bossman, as he pounds away with forearm shots! Bossman throws Goldberg into the ropes, and he actually makes it trough the traffic...but Bossman didn't anticipate that Goldberg would hit a SPEAR! Goldberg picks up The Big Bossman and looks like he is going for a JACKHAMMER! He lifts Goldberg up but instead of going for the Jack Hammer he DUMPS The Big Bossman over the top rope with a partial suplex. A nasty fall for the Bossman to the floor!
* Big Bossman Has been Elimianted!*
Hall is still on the outside as officials try to talk him into getting back in the ring! Scott Norton is BACK on his feet and has seen enough and charges at Goldberg! Goldberg ducks a clothesline from Norton! Norton's momentum takes him near the ropes and Goldberg charges! CLOTHESLINES NORTON UP AND OVER THE TOP ROPE!
* Scott Norton has been eliminated!*
The crowd goes wild as Goldberg shouts...' "WHOSE NEXT!?" Goldberg turns around to see Muhammad Hassan staring him eye to eye. Monsoon gives Hassan credit he's been in there since the start and hasn't back away from anybody. The staredown with Hassan allows Scott Hall to get back into the ring and TAKE OUT THE KNEE of Goldberg! Goldberg goes down holding the knee and now Hall and Hassan double team Goldberg with kicks and stomps! Rick Steiner is teetering on the tope rope as Doug Furnas tries to dump him out but that hurt shoulder is preventing him from doing so.Piper is face down in the corner trying to catch a breather, as he has been in there since the first pick as well. The crowd boo's as Terry Taylor enters the rumble, the crowd not as nearly excited for Taylors entrance as they were for number 15! Taylor gets into the ring and goes right into the corner where Furnas and Steiner are battling. Taylor hopes to be involved in the tag team action in WCW as oe half of Wallstreet Inc. Michael Wallstreet was previously eliminated by Rick Steiner earlier tonight. Taylor nails Steiner with a fist, Steiner nails him back. Now Furnas hits Steiner with a kick tot he gut and Steiner responds with a chop. Taylor tries to smash their heads together, but they block it. Owen jumps up and down with his hands in the air! DDP gets up to his feet and CAN NOT believe who just eliminated him! Owen lets out a LOUD obnoxious laugh as he points to himself and shouts " WOOOOO!" DDP tries to get back into the ring but the officials do their job and keep him at bay. Pillman is now up to his feet as Owen and Pillman deliver a DOUBLE HIGH FIVE. The crowd boo's as both men find a new target in Roddy Piper! Piper was caught offgaurd but does his best to battle off the two men. He gets a GREAT assist from Goldberg who nails Brian Pillman with a crescent kick! Owen tells Masters to dump Piper over the ropes. But Masters tells him to down. Masters gets in Owen Hart's face and Pillman takes exception to this. He takes out the knee of Chris Masters and Owen jumps all over it . Diving right on top of Masters with right hands! Rick Steiner ducks the charging Furnas and back body drops Furnas OVER THE TURNBUCKLE ALL THE WAY TO THE FLOOR! Furnas lands HARD on his injured shoulder! You HAVE to admire Doug Furnas for his valiant effort, with is no doubt a severely injured shoulder! Bart Gunn enters the rumble at #19
Bart Gunn comes jogging out to the ring to a respectable hand from the crowd. He gets in and goes right after Muhammad Hassan, perhaps due to him disagreeing with words Hassan said earlier in the night about WCW and this country. Lafon jumps into the ring, by leaping onto the top rope. He jumps off the top rope onto Hassan and Pillman who were going at it toe to toe. Monsoon and Mooney give Muhammad Hassan a ton of credit for STILL being in the ring as well as Piper when they both drew the first two numbers. It's truly incredible! Scott Halls game plan seems to be keep away from Goldberg and almost anyone else, until Big Sexy arrives. It's clear now Nash has drawn number 29 and will be entering the rumble last. Giving The Outsiders a HUGE advantage for a possible double team opportunity! It appears Goldberg has realized the same thing. He's increased his efforts in taking out Hall! He gave Chase to Hall who went out of the ring and then back in. When Goldbergt ried to get back in he was met with a boot to the head by the exhausted Muhammad Hassan! Hassan and Hall stomped away at Goldberg until Mr. Perfect broke it up to a HUGE pop. Perfect swung away at Hassan, until hitting a PERFECT PLEX! The Perfect Plex got a huge reaction, but clearly has no place in the rumble due not being able to eliminate a foe. Pillman just fought off elimination by Lafon, and has been phenomenal in this contest at staying alive. For the final time, the countdown ticks! When it gets down to ten the music of the new new new new new world order hits and here comes number 29.......
*Kevin Nash enters the rumble at #29!*
The crowd cheers as Kevin Nash steps into the entry way! Nash holds up his hands high in the air! Scott Hall see's his friend coming and holds up his hands as well! Hall has a huge smile on his face but Nash begins to frantically point behind him! Hall assumes Nash is just pointing at him to gesture " You're the man Scott!" but isn't the case. Nash attempts to pick up his pace to the ring , but he's too late! Scott Hall goes tumbling UP and OVER the top rope when Roddy Piper dumps him out of the ring. Piper gives Hall a wink as Hall slams his fists on the canvas! Nash looks shocked.
*Scott Hall has been ELIMINATED!*
Nash angrily grabs a hold of the top rope and lifts himself into the ring, going right for Piper! Piper doesn't back down, but he is knocked down when Nash nails him with a solid right hand. From across the ring, Bill Goldberg spots Nash. The crowd cheers as the two men's eyes meet! Goldberg charges right at Nash who lifts up his foot for a big boot! In the process, Goldberg ducks and NAILS A SPEAR ON PHIL LAFON! Goldberg pops back up to his feet, but is caught from behind by Nash with a running forearm! The unsuspecting Lafon, who was just speared through the ring is picked up by Muhammad Hassan. Hassan disposes of Lafon up and over!
*Phil Lafon has been eliminated!*
The final 8 men stand, or lay, or fight in the ring and those men are:
Currently In The Ring:
Piper
Hassan
Brian Pillman
Bill Goldberg
Mr. Perfect
Dustin Rhodes
Scott Steiner
Kevin Nash
Six more eliminations to take place before the stop to the match! There is a disruption at ringisde, as Scott Hall is still lurking, despite officials attempts to send him to the back. The crowd cheers as Roddy Piper, locks in a sleeper hold Brian Pillman, but Pillman starts a RUN towards the ropes! As he does, he slips out of the sleeper hold and Piper goes FLYING over the top rope! The crowd makes some noise, not booing not cheering just shocked and surprised. Piper hits the floor hard! Pillman lays in the ring, pointing to his head! As Piper stands up, angry with his elimination. He is given a standing ovation. A grueling 50 minute display by Piper. He stares at the ring and points at Pillman. Pillman and Piper have had several entertaining interactions throughout this rumble!
*Roddy Piper has been eliminated!*
And then there were Seven! As Pillman gets to his feet he is greeted by Scott Steiner who locks his arms around his waist and flings him over his head for a nasty german suplex! Pillman goes crashing down on his neck, folding in half. He lands at the feet of Muhammad Hassan who looks completely gassed. Hassan picks up Pillman, but is knocked down by Kevin Nash! Goldberg and Nash trading blows all around the ring. Dustin Rhodes decides to get involved! Swinging away on Nash! Nash is staggered and Rhodes goes to hit the ropes and charges at Nash but runs RIGHT INTO A BIG BOOT! Rhodes goes down hard. Nash picks up Rhodes and places him on his shoulder, before dumping him over the top rope to the floor!
*Dustin Rhodes has been eliminated*
Currently In The Ring:
Hassan
Brian Pillman
Bill Goldberg
Mr. Perfect
Scott Steiner
Kevin Nash
Muhammad Hassan picks up Brian Pillman and whips him hard into the corner! Hassan comes flying in and nails Pillman with a clothesline in the corner. He then backs up, but is grabbed from behind by Nash. Nash deliveres an elbow smash to Hassan, knocking him to the ground! Nash then charges at Pillman but Pillman ducks! Nash hits the turnbuckle chest first! He staggers backwards! Pillman runs to the buckle and climbs to the top rope. He's going for a huricanrana! BUT NO! Nash catches him. NASH POWER BOMBS BRIAN PILLMAN TO THE OUTSIDE!
* Brian Pillman has been eliminated!*
The crowd pops HUGE for Nash Power bombing Pillman out of the ring all the way to the floor! Five men remain! Hall still lurking at ringside! Goldberg is on his feet in one corner, Perfect in another, Nash in a third, and Scott Steiner in a fourth. Muhammad Hassan lays in the center of the ring. He slowly gets to his feet. Hassan looks in a circle, nervously. He's been in the ring for 58 minutes now. Out of no where...Scott Steiner charges and takes him out with a NASTY clothesline! Hassan does a 360 before falling to the mat. Steiner picks up Hassan and throws him right at Kevin Nash, who lifts up his foot for a BIG BOOT. The crowd is loving it! Nash picks up Hassan and throws him into the oppsoite corner...Hassan doesn't make it to that corner because Goldberg meets him halfway across the ring with a SPEAR! Hassan is OUT. Goldberg picks him up to dump him out of the ring, but Perfect instead asks for the honors. Perfect grabs Hassan and THROWS HIM Up and Over the top rope to the floor. This elimination gets the biggest pop of the night!
*Hassan has been eliminated*
FOUR MEN REMAIN! Two eliminations left! Mr. Perfect, Kevin Nash, Bill Goldberg and Scott Steiner. Goldberg charges at Nash and takes him down. Scott Steiner decides to move in and help Goldberg, but Perfect doesn't allow it! He grabs Steiner by the hair from behind. Spinning him around before slaping him in the face with a open hand. Steiner answers back with a smack of his own, spinning Perfect around! Steiner hoist Perfect up in an atomic drop position but instead carries him over to the ropes! He dumps Perfect OUT OF THE RING BUT NO! Perfect lands on the apron!
Perfect pulls himself to a standing position and Steiner throws a right hand. He nails Perfect! Perfect is teetering! Holding on to the top rop by his finger tips! Steiner with another hit and Perfect rocks back off the apron even more! Steiner takes a step back and charges to knock Perfect off the apron but PERFECT DROPS DOWN ..........with the top rope......Scott Steiner spills out of the ring all the way to the floor!
*Scott Steiner has been eliminated!*
Perfect gets back to "safety" inside the ring. Monsoon is going nuts, explaining ONE MORE elimination will set our championship match in stone for Fall Brawl. Will it Be Nash-Perfect, Perfect-Goldberg, or Goldberg-Nash! Goldberg is trying to dump Nash over the top rope but Perfect comes from behind and NAILS GOLDBERG! Goldberg drops to one knee...allowing Nash to get both feet back on the canvas! Goldberg starts stalking Perfect who is back peddling. Suddenly, Scott Hall slides into the ring!
Hall stands between Perfect and Goldberg! And from behind is KEVIN NASH! Nash nails Goldberg from behind as Hall stomps away on Goldberg! Perfect smiles....what is this? Perfect high fives Hall and Nash! Hall leaves the ring to get a steel chair! When he returns, he nails Goldberg with the chair. Perfect cringes at the chairshot. Nash looks at Perfect and they together lift up Goldberg and......TOSS HIM UP AND OVER THE TOP ROPE! Monsoon , Mooney and Bishoff can't believe it!
*Goldberg has been ELIMINATED*
Ring Announcer: Here are your winners, and going on to compete in The WCW Heavyweight Championship Match at FALL BRAWL......Kevvvvvvinnnnn Nassssshhhhh and MRRRRRRRRR............PEEEEERRRFFEEECCCTTTT!
Nash, Hall and Perfect stand in the ring as fans boo. Nash and Hall look at the camera and say " We hate to say I told you so but....."........WHAM! The steel chair that laid in the ring , was just used to NAIL Scott Hall in the back! Nash looks down at Hall and then at Perfect who is holding the chair! Nash charges and Perfect ducks a clothesline! When Nash turns around WHAM! Steel chair to the head of Kevin Nash! Now the crowd is going wild! Mr. Perfect is all different kinds of fired up! He is shouting words down on Hall and Nash, before raising his arms HIGH in the air!
Gorilla Monsoon: I can't believe it! It looked like Mr. Perfect cut a deal with Hall and Nash.....presumably to possibly reform the nWo.....but it looks like Nash and Hall were beaten at their own game! Mr. Perfect is going to go on to Fall Brawl to face Kevin Nash for The WCW Heavyweight Championship!
Sean Mooney: That seems to be the ONLY thing we know for sure Gorilla! So many questions need to be answered! How is Goldberg going to respond to this? What is going to be the fallout from many interactions we have seen take place in the rumble tonight? Perfect is more fired up then I have ever seen him before. He's poting to his waist...He wants to be WCW Heavyweight Champion!
Gorilla Monsoon: If there was ever a guy more deserving of the "big one", it's Perfect! He's going to get his shot at Fall Brawl, but he may have just put the BIGGEST target on his back! Folks, we are out of time, it's been a pleasure, joing us next week! ON WCW MONDAYYY NITROOO! GOODNIGHT EVERYBODY!
