Pay-Per-View
The broadcast teams do their opening intros and Mike Tenay and Don West of ECW do the first third of the pay-per-view.
1st Match: Frank Scarpa/Davey Richards/AJ Styles (BCCW) beat Damien Sandow/Sami Zayn/Bad News Barrett (WWE) in 12:44 when Styles beat Zayn with the styles clash
2nd Match: Nikita Koloff/Roman Reigns/Frank Sexton (BCCW) beat Bromans (ECW) in 10:08 when Reigns beat Ion with the spear. After the match, Don and Mike show their frustration and out comes Paul Heyman and he will not be tolerating any more losing and that ECW is starting to embarrass themselves.
3rd Match: El Texano (ECW) beat Jake the Snake Roberts (WWE) in 11:33 with the tornado DDT. However, the referee did not see Roberts foot on the ropes. Jake complains about it and DDt's the ref and then gets on the mic and says that a snake knows when to get out of an unfavorable situation. In his case, he is getting tired of getting swept under the carpet and not getting any opportunities at any title and allowing a greaseball like Gino Hernandez to get rehired and stealing the WWE title from him, so the WWE can kiss my a%$#@, because I quit!! After that, Jake leaves ringside, but before he goes, he glares at Paul Heyman and they exchange smirks and Paul tells him to meet him after the show.
Mike and Don speculate about Jake's future and that the WWE should be ashamed of themselves for treating Jake in that manner. Then, they turn the broadcast over to the wonderful team of Goriila Monsoon and the man with the real body of MUW: Jesse the Body Ventura! Jesse stands up and poses to the crowd before the next match.
4th Match: Undertaker (WWF) beat Kevin Nash (WWE) in 13:24 with the tombstone piledriver.
5th Match: Hulk Hogan (WWE) beat Ravishing Rick Rude (WWF) w/Bobby Heenan by Dq in 14:22 when Heenan interfered as Hogan had Rude beat with the legdrop. Jesse starts ranting that the ref was bought off by the WWE and Rude should have been the winner.
6th Match: Winner gets a MUW World Title Match at a future date: Brock Lesnar (WWF) beat Steve Austin (WWE) in 14:55 with the F5 after Brock countered the stunner.
Then, Vince Mcmahon comes out and gets the mic and says that he is a little disappointed by the effort of ECW, but none the less the WWF picked up the ball and then, Vince says that Brock Lesnar will become his MUW World Champion and when that time comes, Vincent Kennedy McMahon will be standing tall over all of MUW! Then, he tries to shake Brock's hand, but Brock flips McMahon off and gives him an F5 to the delight of the crowd and then he picks up the mic and says that Brock Lesnar is owned by nobody and that when and not if he becomes the next MUW World Champion, it will be Brock Lesnar that will rule the MUW and not some shriveled up piece of s&%^$$ like McMahon!
Gorilla and Jesse are appauled and they turn it over to what they describe as the B Team of MUW, Mark Lowrance and Jim Ross from the WWE and Matt Striker from BCCW. Mark says that they will ignore those comments and remain professional and do their jobs in calling the rest of the pay-per-view.
7th Match: BCCW Six Man Tag Title Match: New Day and Doom II/Apollo Crews battled to a double countout in 15:03 when both teams fought all over ringside and ignored the ref's count. It took several officials to break up the fight near the back of the stadium.
Then, Jim Ross received word from WWE President William Muldoon who is in attendance tonight at Battleground III that due to his statement and actions earlier tonight, Jake the Snake Roberts is fired from the WWE and we wish him well in his future endeavors.
8th Match: WWE World Television Title Match: The Rock (WWE) beat JBL (BCCW) in 14:45 with the Rock Bottom and then the Rock gained back possession of the title after it was stolen by JBL several weeks earlier.
9th Match: Last chance match for the WWE World Tag Team Title: If the challengers do not win the titles, they will leave the WWE for life.
Road Warriors beat the Dudley Boys in 15:00 when Hawk beat Devon after delivering the 3D to the shock of the crowd. This was a bloody affair as both teams pulled out all the stops in this match.
10th Match: Battle of World Champions: Gino Hernandez (WWE) beat Big Van Vader (WWF) in 13:22 with a shot to the head form a pair of brass knuckles handed to him by Adam Cole of BCCW who distracted the ref and Vader.
Main Event: MUW World Title Match: CM Punk beat Daniel Bryan (WWF) in 27:33 with the GTS after countering the Yes Lock. This was considered a match of the year candidate as both men countered each other's finishers throughout the match and the fans chanted " This is Awesome"
Mark, Matt and Jim thank everyone for joining us at Battleground III and to stay tuned tonight for BCCW's Halloween in Hell 4 pay-per-view here in Hawaii!
