"La Resurrección"
Live from MEXICO CITY!!
[original airdate Monday September 28th, 2015]Ringside Commentary Team: Gordon Solie & Matt StrikerPyro! Loud music! Roaring fans! Bienvenido a la Ciudad de México! "Welcome to Mexico City"! Welcome to "Resurrection!" Tonight, BCCW blows doors off the hinges with its very first cross-border production! Viva la Mexico! Home of lucha libre and the 6-Man tag! Tonight BCCW brings its own brand of patented 6-Man mayhem to Mexico City with a main event of Mash-Up Wrestling *LEGENDS*!! Plus! The cross-promotional borders are blurring in anticipation of "Battleground 3" in October... WWE TV Champion the ROCK is in the building tonight! For the *very first time* in company history! All this and so much more! Stay tuned!
** CUT TO VIDEO PACKAGE & Ring Intros ** _____________________________________________________________Mil Muertes (w/ Catrina) def. Sugar Dunkerton (w/ Naomi) (Catchweight Bout)Los muertos se elevará a caminar de nuevo ..."The Dead will rise to walk again". ** BACKSTAGE INTERLUDE **BCCW President Paul Bowser is spotted in the skybox alongside Dorian Roldan Peña (AAA) & Dario Cueto (Lucha Underground). As "Battleground 3" nears, strategic alliances are being put in place against combined forces of the ever-present VKM Jr Mafia (including World Wrestling Federation / WCW & ECW). Everybody already knows how tight President Bowser is with WWE Commissioner William Muldoon, and how the two companies (once bitter rivals) banded together during the great Canadian Wars of 2014 - 2015. Can they do it again @ "Battleground 3" in October?? And where does Strangler Lewis (advocate to the WORLD CHAMPION) fit into all of this?? Stay tuned to find out!!** CUT TO RING ** _____________________________________________________________Beat Down Clan def. Houston Heat (BCCW 6-Man Tag Team Bout)Match of the Prison-yard bullies. Hay un nuevo sheriff en la ciudad. "There's a new sheriff in town". BDC take advantage of the injuries they caused (by jumping Houston Heat last Fight Night special) to steal the win. Postmatch promo from MVP & crew is akin to 50 Cent 2003, wearing a bullet proof vest and taking shots at all his old enemies. MVP is a very wanted man (because of the scores of high-powered enemies he burned during his crooked run as BCCW Commissioner). But the BDC got his back now, and their reputation is beyond reproach. The rest of y'all are shook ones. Bring it on if you think you can hang... (yet BDC will never show up in Canada, specifically Montreal, ever again as dryly notated by our commentary team). ** CUT TO VIDEO RECAP & Commentary ** _____________________________________________________________

Art Barr (1994) def. Davey Richards (2012) vs. Jushin Liger (1995) vs. Don Eagle (1952) (Flyweight Fatal 4-Way)Si Art Barr pierde nos disturbios!!"If Art Barr loses we riot" - read on a very prominent sign hung by the Mexican Cartel.** CUT TO VIDEO PACKAGE & Promos ** _____________________________________________________________** BCCW 6-Man Tag Team Titles ** The New Day vs. Doom 2.0 (w/ Woman) ©The New Day have been on a roll in BCCW, and the reformation of DOOM 2.0 (Ron Simmons & Butch Reed) is like the Dudley Boyz coming back for one more glorious run against them in WWE 2015. In the Mash-Up march to "Battleground 3", when cross-promotional borders are blurred, there was perhaps no bigger crossover surprise than the appearance of the ROCK as Doom's 3rd partner! See WWE All-Star Wrestling for complete details. Tonight is their fully-advertised, much-anticipated rematch. Showcase bout primarily for New Day to get their 3-man hilarity over with the fans, before letting Rock wrap it all up with his greatness. The mid-match interplay between Rock & New Day alone is worth the price of admission. In the end, to nobodies disappointment, Rock hits the Rock Bottom / Peoples Elbow combo on Xavier Woods for the pin! Doom retains the titles and WWE-contracted Rock helps bring a huge PPV buyrate in his *first ever* BCCW appearance! Postmatch, reigning WWE TV Champion the Rock uses his victory pulpit to *accept* JBL's very-public challenge for his title! Rock will defend his WWE TV title against Montreal Mafia / ECW / UCW / BCCW turncoat John Bradshaw Layfield! At "Battleground 3" from Hawaii!! "Welcome to the Smackdown Hotel!" If you smell what The Rock is cooking!!** CUT TO VIDEO REPLAY / Hype Package / Face-to-face promo from allies turned competitors, Roman & Sexton ** _____________________________________________________________Roman Reigns (2015) vs. Frank Sexton (1945) (Heavyweight Bout)Epic Dream Match encounter that is pure BCCW. Not only will historians & modern day fans alike recognize the symmetry, even non-fans can grasp their parallels after being compared since each of their BCCW inceptions. Sexton & Reigns are two timeline peers cut from the same cloth. Sexton is usually more popular in the Boston region - Reigns more out West. Their match tonight in "neutral" Mexico City is split 50 / 50 in fan sentiment. They conduct a thrilling Heavyweight slugfest that turns out to be but a mere preview. At around the 7-minute mark or so, the two combatants spill outside the ring - where they are *attacked* 3-on-2 by bitter rivals Beer Money Intl!! Booooo! Match ruled "no contest!" After the beatdown, Beer Money Intl. commandeer the house mic. JBL cuts a hysteric answer-promo on the Rock that nearly incites the Mexican people to a riot! Thankfully, an audible is called, and Roman / Sexton recover enough to clear the ring and distract the fans long enough for JBL & company to be police-escorted out! But the crowd sentiment is very clear at this point - they want blood!** CUT TO VIDEO REPLAY ** _____________________________________________________________Triple Towers def. Wyatt Family 2.0 (6-Man Clockwork Orange Bout)Perfect timing. Blood you shall receive. This match plays out like a Mexican horror movie. Plays off every sick & demented encounter these two teams have had (starting when the Towers crippled Erick Rowan). Black Sheep Braun Strowman is a sizable difference-maker as usual, until paired opposite Andre. The Giant is in complete control during his brief forays into action. Most of the damage is done by work horses Bray / Luke versus Kane / Abyss. In the end, after a bloody Xtreme Rulez-flavored bout, the Towers triple-powerbomb Bray Wyatt *through a flaming table* littered with thumbtacks for the pin! "HOLY SHIT!" and "BCCW!" chants abound in Mexico City!! ** CUT TO BACKSTAGE PROMO **
Diamond-studded promo from 2x BCCW Heavyweight Champion Ric Flair and his Mount Rushmore stable. Tonight is a celebration for all their hard work & glory! The sun goes down on the rest of BCCW tonight in Mexico City!!** CUT TO RING ** _____________________________________________________________Bobby Lashley (2015) def. Kevin FN Owens (2015) (Heavyweight Bout)Another Dream Match, but with more contemporary relevancy. This is a true-life "WWE vs TNA" fantasy match-up. MMA-fighter & former TNA (and BCCW Heavyweight & Television) champion BOBBY LASHLEY (2015) versus the current-day WWE IC (real-world) & BCCW Middleweight Champion KEVIN FN OWENS. KO has bullied his way through the BCCW Middleweight division for nearly 10 months during his reign. He drew comparisons to GSP / Anderson Silva / Jon Jones as guys that "cleared out their division". Now he steps it up another level to compete with the big dogs. Its not such a huge difference in between the BCCW weight classes to think KO can't cut a few pounds to meet the Middleweight limit. A few pounds more and he's right up in the Heavyweight division. Still, the super-powered Lashley outweighs him by 20 to 30 lbs. Great match, hard-hitting duel. Comes off as very MMA-oriented, shoot style. Scientific chain grappling meets strong-style suplexes. Lashley wins clean with a Dominator / Spear combo after nearly 15 minutes of back-n-forth action. Un hombre comienza cortando sus muelas del juicio la primera vez que muerde más de lo que puede masticar..."A man begins cutting his wisdom teeth the first time he bites off more than he can chew" ** CUT BACKSTAGE ** Sheamus still lurks as MitB-holder... he may cash in at anytime! Will it be tonight?? ** CUT TO Renee Young Backstage promo w/ Cena / Crusher / AJ Styles - WAR TONIGHT in Mexico City!! **_____________________________________________________________

I know we've discussed it before, and you took a stab at further explaining it here, but I'm sorry. I'm just not buying Kevin Owens as a "middleweight" champion. The guy weights 250 lbs plus. So to even fit the weight class division you're asking him to lose over 25 lbs which I find somewhat unbelievable. Kevin Owens is a Heavyweight wrestler, anything else and he's just throwing his weight around, so to speak. Otherwise, I thought this was another excellent show. The main event finish tread a little too close to your Chicago show, but it still fit the momentum of the show. I'm really digging the Mount Rushmore gang and I'm looking forward to what you and WWEFan have planned for Halloween.

Terrific PPV. You have so much going on with the big invasion with the big names & cross teaming up & such. I still really like using the older names with/against the younger know names. It gives this board a unique & entertaining flavor. And the upcoming Vancouver PPV is going to be great. Good work.
