We open tonight’s show with a ring full of heels. The Jersey Shore, “Killer” Karl Krupp, “The Acadian Giant” Kurrgan, Shannon Moore, Johnny Devine, Owen Hart, “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase, Virgil and “No Class” Bobby Bass (making a rare appearance) are all assembled in the ring for this week’s episode of the Honour Roll with “The Genius” Lanny Poffo. In the middle of the ring are two large throne chairs. The Genius announces that his special guest is none other than Sensational Sherri! She has asked everyone to join her on The Honour Roll for this momentous occasion as she has arranged a very special ceremony to officially crown Randy Savage as the “Macho King” of professional wrestling! Savage makes his entrance and in the following minutes, he is crowned the Macho King and Sherri is crowned the Sensational Queen! There is a swearing in ceremony on the throne by the master of ceremonies, The Genius, and gifts of a fabulous royal robe and a very expensive golden sceptre that is presented to the Macho King by the “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase.
Vince McMahon = Ed Whalen
Jesse Venture = Lord Alfred Hayes
But all ceremonies to swear in royalty cannot end on the right foot as the King of the World, Chris Jericho decides to crash the party. He is painfully outnumbered, but before he has his career ended in a 12-on-1 beatdown, Samoa Joe, “Mr. Wrestling” Kevin Steen and The Mounties show up to better the odds. The collection of assembled heel jobbers are quickly disposed of, while Steen, Jacques and Pierre brawl with Hart, Krupp and Kurrgan. Plus, Samoa Joe lends Jericho a helping hand in battling with the Macho King, Million Dollar Man and Virgil. After the ring is cleared of all of the heels, the faces regroup in the middle of the ring to bask in the adulation of the crowd. After the commercial break, we will learn that this show opening brawl has resulted in the addition of a blockbuster 10-man tag team match to tonight’s show: Chris Jericho, Samoa Joe, Kevin Steen & The Mounties vs. “Macho King” Randy Savage, “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase, Owen Hart, “Killer” Karl Krupp & Kurrgan!

VS.
Bo Dallas vs. Lance Cade
As the bell rings, Bo Dallas extends his hand to shake in an offer of good will and sportsmanship. Lance Cade accepts the handshake and then they begin. The beginning of the match is similar to the one Dallas had last week against Cade’s regular tag team partner, Trevor Murdoch. After a minute of feeling each other out with a series of headlocks ad reversals, Cade strings together a few quick power moves. Dallas is overwhelmed and he escapes to the outside. He comes back in and tries to catch Cade sleeping with a fast attack, but he sees Dallas coming and gives him a hip toss. Cade goes for a superkick attempt after that, but Dallas is quick to hit the mat and then chop block Cade to ground him. Dallas uses the same strategy as last week, employing some knee wrenches and giving him wrapped-leg knee twisters and elevated knee drops to Cade’s left knee. Dallas applies a figure four leglock that threatens to end the match. First, Cade tries to turn it over, but Dallas does a great job of blocking his attempts. Then, Cade drags himself to the ropes to force the break. Dallas looks to be in good shape to pick up the win, but when he attempts an Irish whip, Cade reverses it and executes a spinebuster. Limping around the ring, Cade mounts a short comeback as he executes an atomic drop and delivers a lariat to the back of Dallas’ neck. Cade goes out to the top rope and goes for a diving elbow drop, but Dallas rolls out of the way. When they both get up, Dallas grabs a hold of Cade and gives him the Bo-Dog! He pins him for the win and celebrates with his usual victory lap around the ring.
Official Decision: Bo Dallas wins by pinfall

VS.
Leo Burke w/ Rowdy Roddy Piper vs. Christopher Daniels w/ Kazarian & “Classy” Freddie Blassie
Last week, Rowdy Roddy Piper took on Kazarian in singles action and won the match. During that match, Leo Burke and Christopher Daniels got into a brawl at ringside and they eventually took their fight out into the crowd. Now, it is Burke and Daniels’ turn to compete against each other in singles competition before both teams battle for the third time, next week at TAKEOVER IN TORONTO. Piper, Kazarian and “Classy” Freddie Blassie are all at ringside to watch this one. The match showcases both wrestler’s smooth technical wrestling skills. The opening minutes of the match are a clinic of submission holds, how to escape and counter out of them and how to counter out of the counters. Daniels attempts to pick up the pace with a series of running attacks, but Burke eventually stops Daniels in his tracks and gives him an overhead belly-to-belly suplex to get the first decisive advantage in the contest. After a few minutes of dictating the pace and dominating the offense, a decision to by Burke to go for a superplex proves to be a mistake as Daniels shoves him to the mat. He appears to be going for the Best Moonsault Ever, but lands on his feet when he sees Burke roll out of harm’s way. However, Daniels quickly connects with an enzigurri kick and takes control of the match. After hitting several of his moves, Daniels applies a crossface submission hold. Burke flips him over on his side and gets a 2-count before Daniels breaks the hold. Next, Burke avoids a clothesline and takes him down into a backslide for two. This starts a chain of quick pinfall attempts by both men, including pins that are countered into pins, but neither man gets the victory. Finally, when the pinfall rally ends, Burke tosses Daniels across the ring with a gutwrench suplex! Sensing the worse, Blassie decides that it is time to get involved in the match. Piper won’t have any of it. But he also won’t run around the ring to stop Californiacation’s shenanigans. Instead, he slides into the ring and runs across to attack. Blassie decides to run for safety, but he has Piper in hot pursuit. He leads Piper right into an ambush as Kazarian meets him with a superkick! Back in the ring, Burke goes for the sleeperhold, but Daniels slides to his side and breaks it with a side belly-to-back suplex. When they both get up, Burke whips Daniels. He goes for a back body drop, but Daniels lands on his feet and gives Burke a back kick to the stomach right before executing the Angel’s Wings! He pins. 1…2…3! Daniels picks up the win! He celebrates with Kazarian and Blassie. They look into the camera and tell us to expect the same result next week. Who will go home with the North American Tag Team Titles at TAKEOVER IN TORONTO? Tune in next week to find out!
Official Decision: Christopher Daniels wins by pinfall

Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch are seen in their locker room. They’re having a discussion in which both of them express frustration over their recent inability to win matches. They’re not sure what they should do to stop the slide they’ve been on, but they know that they have to do something. Then, suddenly, Bo Dallas arrives to offer some helpful advice. He tells them that he understands that they have been frustrated by their recent losing streak. However, he says that he knows that from having wrestled both of them in the last week, they’re just one lucky break away from turning their four wheeler around and taking it down the right path – the path to North American Tag Team Championships and glory. He believes that their misfortunes can be turned into bountiful fortunes if they do the following three things: 1) always display superior sportsmanship in every match; 2) hire a manager whose voice is as motivating as his; and 3) Don’t Stop Bolievin’! They thank Dallas for his advice. After he walks away, Cade says, “Do you believe that guy?” and Murdoch responds, “You know there might be something to what he was just sayin’ there.”
VS. w/
Kaientai vs. Maximum Brute Force w/ Maryse Ouellet
This is a short contest. Taka Michinoku and Sho Funaki and completely overwhelmed by the impressive array of power wrestling maneuvers that are put on display by Magnus and Rusev. The match clocks in at around 4-minutes with 90% of the offense coming from Maximum Brute Force. They win this match in dominating fashion when Rusev forces Funaki to submit to the Accolade.
Official Decision: Maximum Brute Force wins by submission
At the end of the match, Cesaro appearances by the entrance set and asks for MBF’s music to be cut. Then, he challenges both men to a match at TAKEOVER IN TORONTO. Maryse is happy to have them compete in a 2-on-1 handicap match. However, Cesaro says that it won’t be a 2-on-1 match rather it will be a tag team contest. She wants to know who his partner will be. Cesaro says he still hasn’t found one, but he’ll find one, and if he doesn’t, he’ll take them on by himself. Maryse, Magnus and Rusev are game. Maryse warns Cesaro that just as has been the case over the last two months, Magnus and Rusev will prove to the world that the Swiss Superman has so many holes in his game that he really ought to be called Swiss Cheese. Maximum Brute Force will battle Cesaro and a partner of his choice at TAKEOVER IN TORONTO. Who will his partner be? Tune in on August 2 to find out!
SoCal Val catches up with an irate “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase and his personal assistant, Virgil, backstage. DiBiase cuts a promo talking about how last week he offered Samoa Joe all of the riches in the world to come to work for DiBiase. And what did the Samoan Submission Machine say? No thanks. DiBiase likes to think of himself as a reasonable man. Nobody says no to the Million Dollar Man. Everybody has a price and eventually everybody cuts a deal with him. So although Joe turned down his first offer, he was nice enough to let Joe walk away from the ring and think about it. And what does the Million Dollar Man get in return for his generosity? This week, he gets attacked during the Macho King’s very special swearing in ceremony! That is unacceptable. For that very reason, the Million Dollar Man’s offer is now off the table and he’s going to teach Joe a lesson in humility next week at TAKEOVER IN TORONTO!

w/ VS.
Trish Stratus w/ “Classy” Freddie Blassie & Awesome Kong vs. Fabulous Moolah
This is a non-title match with a lot riding on it. For one, if Moolah wins, she ought to be in line for a future title shot. However, if Trish Stratus wins the match by pinfall or submission – neither of which anyone has been able to do to Moolah – she gets to handpick her opponent at TAKEOVER IN TORONTO. If Stratus loses the match or wins by countout or disqualification, Chyna will remain the challenger to the title at TAKEOVER IN TORONTO.
With that in mind, the bell rings and after circling the ring in anticipation of the opening grapple hold, Moolah suddenly backs away, drops and rolls out of the ring. She’s outsmarted everyone! Moolah is walking away from the ring. Stratus and “Classy” Freddy Blassie both lose it. Fortunately, their insurance policy, Awesome Kong runs over and catches up to Moolah, grabbing her by the hair and bringing her back to the ring before she could be counted out. After Moolah is tosses into the ring, Stratus puts the boots to her. Stratus works her over with punches, chops, kicks, clotheslines and arm drag takedowns. But when she finally goes for a vertical suplex, Moolah blocks it and executes one of her own. Moolah gives Stratus a few of her patented Moolah whips (hairpull toss across the ring). Then executes a bodyslam and an elbow drop from the second turnbuckle. Moolah pins her for a 2-count. After that, she decides not to waste any more of her time and turns to leave the ring, but this time Awesome Kong is blocking the entrance aisle. Moolah exchanges a few words with her and then gets pulled down into a roll-up. 1…2… kick out! Moolah goes for a lariat, but Stratus ducks it and executes a neckbreaker! She pins but Moolah kicks out. Now, Stratus gets back in the driver’s seat as she executes a few snap suplexes and delivers some more kicks and forearm shots to Moolah. Stratus picks her up and places her on the top turnbuckle. She goes for the Stratusphere, but Moolah grabs her legs to block and hops down, dragging Stratus out of the corner, applying a Boston crab as a counter! Stratus is struggling and crying out in pain. Blassie decides that his champion needs a helping hand. He starts to distract the referee and Kong climbs onto the ring apron, but Stratus calls her off, knowning that if the referee catches the interferences, she won’t get to choose her challenger in next week’s match. Stratus slowly crawls to the ropes, but the damage may be done. When Stratus finally gets to her feet, Moolah attacks. She executes a vertical suplex and then goes for a frog splash, but Stratus rolls out of the way! They both get up at the same time and much to everyone’s surprise, Stratus connects with the Chick Kick! She goes for the pin.
Chyna breaks it up by pulling her to the floor and clubbing her with a lariat, saving her title shot! Awesome Kong tries to come to the rescue, but gets a series of right hands for her troubles. Chyna backs off and goes for a running clothesline, but Kong lifts her up and sends her to the floor with a back body drop! Now Kong starts to put a beating in on Chyna until Moolah cracks her in the back with a steal chair and then sends her head first into the guardrail! Moolah looks at Blassie and tells him to show up with Awesome Kong at TAKEOVER IN TORONTO because she wants to teach the monster what a real fight is!
Official Decision: Trish Stratus wins by disqualification

10-Man Tag Team Match
Chris Jericho, Samoa Joe, Kevin Steen & The Mounties vs. Randy Savage, Ted DiBiase, Owen Hart, Karl Krupp & Kurrgan w/ Virgil & Sensational Queen Sherri
Chris Jericho, Samoa Joe, Kevin Steen & The Mounties vs. Randy Savage, Ted DiBiase, Owen Hart, Karl Krupp & Kurrgan w/ Virgil & Sensational Queen Sherri
This is a huge 10-man tag team match that was announced after Jericho, Joe, Steen and The Mounties crashed Savage’s swearing in ceremony as the new Macho King of professional wrestling. Several feuds are criss-crossing in this preview of three TAKEOVER IN TORONTO matches. Kevin Steen and “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase start out for their respective sides. They both exchange armbars and headlocks as they try to gain an advantage. Eventually, it is Steen that gains the upper hand when counters an Irish whip attempt into the corner and follows in with a running clothesline. He puts the boots to DiBiase until he’s seated on the mat, then runs in and executes a cannonball senton. From there, Steen tags out to Joe, who comes in and gives DiBiase a series of jabs to the jaw followed by an overhead head-and-arm suplex. He tags out to Pierre Ouellet, who executes a few moves before bringing his partner Jacques Rougeau into the match. Finally, Chris Jericho gets tagged into the match. Everyone has had a turn throwing DiBiase around the ring, but that comes to a stop after Jericho gives him a running one-handed bulldog and then attempts a lionsault. DiBiase gets his knees up to block and quickly tags out to “The Acadian Giant” Kurrgan, who simply stares down Jericho and urges him to charge straight at him. He taunts the other corner and dares the entire team to try to dance with him. Jericho runs at him and swallows a big boot. Kurrgan punches him around the ring with some nasty uppercuts before scooping him up and giving him a sidewalk slam. He pins, but Rougeau makes the save. “Killer” Karl Krupp tries to come into the ring, but the referee stops him. Kurrgan brings Jericho back to his corner and tags in Owen Hart. Kurrgan pins hi against the turnbuckle with a foot across the throat as Hart comes in and delivers some shots to the ribs. Hart puts the boots to him and takes him out of the corner with a bridging northern lights suplex. Jericho shoulders out of the pin. Hart tags in Krupp and he just pounds away at Jericho with punches, kicks and running clotheslines. Krupp bodyslams Jericho and tags the Macho King, who decides to clumb the turnbuckle. He points to the sky, signalling for the flying elbow drop, but Kevin Steen grabs Jericho by an arm and a leg and drags him away from the corner. Savage hops down and runs straight across the ring to knock Steen down with a running elbow. The Macho King elbows everyone standing on the ring apron and then kicks Jericho as he’s getting up.
With the referee trying to get Steen out of the ring and keep Jericho’s other teammates from entering it, Savage gives Jericho the old snake eyes and chokes him on the top rope. He releases the hold before the referee sees anything. Savage gives him a vertical suplex and then starts climbing the turnbuckle. He sees Joe walking closer to him on the apron and turns to take him down with a diving axehandle smash! This gets Ouellet to hop off of the apron and get into a fist fight with Savage, which in turn draws Hart and Krupp to run around the ring and get into a fight with The Mounties. A brawl starts up with everyone on the floor, except for Jericho who is down on the mat, and DiBiase, who has Virgil enter the ring and help him work over Jericho in a 2-on-1 situation. DiBiase holds Jericho while Virgil takes a number of shots to his ribs and abdomen. This continues unabated for nearly half a minute until Samoa Joe enters the ring and frees up Jericho by powering DiBiase to the mat with a German suplex. Virgil tries to attack him, but he receives a savate kick and then a folding powerbomb. Joe then kicks Virgil out of the ring. When he turns around, he receives an enzuigiri kick from Hart! When he gets up, Ouellet kicks him and gives him a death valley driver! When he gets up, DiBiase hits him with a diving back elbow from to the top rope! When DiBiase gets up, Jericho gives him a flying forearm smash and then the lionsault! When he gets up, Kurrgan chokeslams him! Then Rougeau dropkicks Kurrgan over the top rope and out to the floor! Krupp grabs Rougeau in the Iron Claw, forcing him down to the mat, but then Steen breaks that up with a superkick! Steen picks him up and gives him an F-Cinq! But then he receives a diving axehandle smash from Savage, followed by an inverted atomic drop and a clothesline. The Macho King goes to the top rope and executes the flying elbow drop! He pins Steen. 1…2…3!
The 3-count is registered right before Joe lunges at Savage to try to make the save. Savage and Joe are fighting until Joe goes for a clothesline to take him over the ropes, but he ends up falling to the outside with him. There is no real victory celebration for the bad guys and everyone continues to brawl in and around the ring until a number of referees and security personnel flood the area to try to put an end to it as we go to commercial break. Macho King vs. the King of the World – the Samoan Submission Machine vs. the Million Dollar Man – the King of Harts, Killer & Acadian Giant vs. Mr. Wrestling and the Mounties in a street fight – all of these matches will happen next week at TAKEOVER IN TORONTO! You don't want to miss any of them!
Official Decision: Savage, DiBiase, Hart, Krupp & Kurrgan win by pinfall
*Commercial Break 6*
We find “Superstar” Billy Graham, “Classy” Freddie Blassie and the bizarre one Goldust discussing their strategy for tonight’s main event. They come to an agreement on what their game plan will be, but at the end of it, Graham cautions Goldust not to screw it up. He looks taken aback by the comment. Blassie asks him why he’s taking that tone with his teammate and the Superstar points out that Goldust has lost singles matches to both Christian Cage and Édouard Carpentier in two of the last three weeks. Goldust mentions how he didn’t lose in the 8-man tag team match from two weeks ago, but Graham insinuates that Christopher Daniels, Kazarian and himself carried the bizarre one on their backs in that match. Graham wants him to shape up because a loss tonight would stop his momentum going into the title match against Christian Cage at TAKEOVER IN TORONTO, and he can’t have that. Blassie says that’s a good point. He adds that it is important that they get a clean sweep in AGPW title matches because it will mean that Californiacation has truly taken over and it will pave the way for their new investor to come in and do whatever he wants to this company.
VS.
Eric Young vs. Sylvain
It’s the return of Sylvain Grenier to AGPW. He was last seen here a year ago in a loser leaves town match. Since then, he took a break from wrestling to focus on his other career – modeling. The Québecois supermodel couldn’t resist the allure of the ring and after the 1-year no return clause on his loser leaves town match had finally elapsed, he jumped at the opportunity to return to AGPW. Upon his return, he has chosen to drop his family name and simply go by the name Sylvain. Here, he faces Eric Young in his first match back. Young gets off to a hot start, suggesting that Sylvain may be suffering from ring rust. Young works quickly, using arm drags, dropkicks, and running clotheslines to keep Sylvain from getting any offense started. However, a decision to go for a moonsault proves to be a bad one when Sylvain gets his knees up. From there, Sylvain drops Young with a few clotheslines, then gives Young a flapjack, neckbreaker and a spinebuster. Young kicks out of a pair of pinfall attempts. Then, Sylvain picks him up and gives him his finisher, 3 Seconds of Fame and pins Young for the victory.
Official Decision: Sylvain wins by pinfall

Christian Cage & Édouard Carpentier vs. “Superstar” Billy Graham & Goldust w/ “Classy” Freddie Blassie
Our main event is yet another preview of next week’s main event title match between Christian Cage and “Superstar” Billy Graham. It also marks the third consecutive week in which Édouard Carpentier and Goldust have competed in the same match, on opposite sides of the ring. Last week, they squared off in a singles match that Carpentier won. The week before, Graham pinned Cage to earn a victory in an 8-man tag team match. Coincidentally, in the past two weeks one wrestler on each side of the ring has pinned a wrestler from the opposing team to pick up a victory.
There’s a slow pace to the match from the moment the bell is rung to start the action. Carpentier and Goldust exchange armbars, wristlocks and headlocks. Eventually, but combatants end up on the mat after they each go running to the ropes and hit each other with clotheslines. When they both get to their feet, they exchange blows. Goldust connects with a hard uppercut and then a jumping clothesline. He gives Carpentier a snap suplex and then makes the tag. Graham comes in and immediately cuts off Carpentier from reaching his corner. After some punches and chops, Graham drops Carpentier into the mat with a bodyslam and gives him a standing leg drop. He makes the first cover the match, but Carpentier easily kicks out. Graham puts him back on the bat with a headlock takedown and really applies the pressure on it. He works it tightly and uses his huge arms to squeeze on the Flying Frenchman’s head and cut off his circulation. He keeps Carpentier down for a good long while, but not forever. He battles back to his feet and breaks the hold with some elbows to the mid-section. Then he gives Graham some stiff shots directly to the jaw and goes for an Irish whip Graham reverses it and goes for a running big boot. However, Carpentier avoids contact with a somersault. When Graham turns back around, Carpentier knocks him down with a dropkick! Then he goes to his corner and makes the tag. Graham also tags out and the pace of the match immediately picks up with Cage and Goldust colliding in the ring. Cage pulls off a succession of quick moves to incrementally slow Goldust down. However, a whip attempt and back body drop set up prove to be a bad idea as Goldust drops to his knees and gives him a hard uppercut! Now Goldust builds some momentum with some punches, chops and a pair of running clotheslines to Cage after sending him into the corner. Goldust climbs the turnbuckle and punches him nine times. Before the tenth he rubs his hands up his chest, but stopping for the pose gives Cage the opportunity to lift him out of the corner and execute an inverted atomic drop. Cage tries to surprise Goldust by going for the Unprettier, but Goldust is able to shove Cage chest first into the turnbuckle and then run to his corner to tag out. Graham comes in and works over the champion with a few power moves before applying a bear hug. Cage fades and nearly loses the match, but he reawakens before his falls for a third time. He tries to power out of the hold, but he’s simply not strong enough to break it, prompting Carpentier to come into the ring. Goldust also enters the ring. Graham drops Cage and joins Goldust to give Carpentier a two-on-one beat down. Then, Graham turns his attention back to Cage, who surprises Graham with a small package. 1…2… kick out! Graham levels him with a clothesline. He whips Cage across the ring, into the corner. He goes to the far corner and then starts to charge at him. However, Cage charges out of the corner and takes the Superstar down with a spear! Both guys are down and slowly crawl towards their corners to tag out. Graham makes the tag and Goldust runs over just in time to grab prevent Cage from making the tag. Then, he slaps the Flying Frenchman across the face, drawing him into the ring. They battle until Goldust gives him a powerslam. He takes Carpentier into the corner and sets him for Shattered Dreams, but Cage is finally back on his feet and he comes at Goldust from the side to knock him down with a spinning heel kick. Then, Cage gives him the Unprettier! He pins. Graham comes into the ring, but Carpentier tackles him to stop him from breaking up the pinfall. 1…2…3!
Christian Cage and Édouard Carpentier are victorious! They celebrate their win while “Superstar” Billy Graham and “Classy” Freddie Blassie show their frustration at the loss. Cage and Graham shout back and forth at one another while Cage and Carpentier celebrate in the ring and Californiacation make their hasty exit after an embarrassing loss. Who will walk out of TAKEOVER IN TORONTO as the AGPW International Heavyweight Champion? Will it be the hometown hero and “Instant Classic,” Christian Cage, or will it be the Tower of Power, “Superstar” Billy Graham? Tune in next week to find out!
Official Decision: Christian Cage & Édouard Carpentier win by pinfall
