Event: Monday Night Nitro!
Date: 11-18-2013
Announcers: Jim Ross and Jerry "The King" Lawler
JR: Welcome to the return of one of the biggest nights in all of professional wrestling. This is the return of Monday Night Nitro!
King: JR! I can't believe that we are back, and in primetime. We have been waiting for months to comeback on the air, and I am so glad that we under the ownership of somebody that matters unlike that weasel Ted Turner. I would like to get him in the ring, and teach him a thing or two.
JR: Fired up already, and we are only at the start of the broadcast here. I have heard that Eric Bischoff will be coming out in a few short moments to address the title situation. We have heard that we are going to start right over new. All titles are vacant, and we are back in business.
King: I am so excited Ross. I can't wait for our first match of the night here tonight.
Singles Match
Chris Benoit vs Koko B. Ware
This match is sheer destruction. Usually the jobber will get some defense, but Chris Benoit just doesn't care tonight, and he just beats the hell out of Koko. He picks him up, and drops him with a nasty snap suplex. Benoit picks him back up, and drops him with a German Suplex. He climbs the top rope, as Koko is distracted. Benoit leaps off the top rope, and drops a Diving Headbutt right across the chest of Koko. He finally has had enough, and locks on The Crippler Crossface! Koko is tapping out as fast as he can, as Benoit finally lets go of the hold. Ross, and King push that Benoit is making a very strong statement in his debut.
Your Winner Chris Benoit by Submission!
{Chris Benoit walks away from the ring with his hands raised in the air, as we see Koko begins getting checked on. We head to the back as coming to the ring is CM PUNK!!!!}
*Commercial*
{We come right back from commercial. We see the fans buzzing, as right down the ramp comes this man the absolute " BEST IN THE WORLD" It's the man that will take over this company. The man who is going to take WCW to the next level. The one, and the only CM PUNK!}
Punk: My name is CM Punk, and I am the absolute Best in the World! I don't need to come out here, and talk to you about becoming a World Champion, cause after what we saw all that title is nothing, but a paperweight, but all the matters is CM Punk getting what is rightfully his. So Eric Bischoff come on out here, and give me the title that I would have won against Sting at the first ever Clash of the Champions. These fans know that I am their champion, and they know that out of everybody here that I deserve the WCW Championship. Do the right thing Eric. Come down here, and put that title right in my hands.
{Punk just takes a seat right in the middle of the ring, as he is waiting for Eric Bischoff to come out, but instead of Eric he gets.....
{It's Paul Heyman! Punk is standing right in the middle of the ring, as Paul comes right into the ring. He doesn't waste anytime getting into the ring, as Punk finally gets to his feet, and leans against the ropes.}
Punk: Well, look who it is everybody. It's the greatest failure in all of wrestling. It's Paul Heyman!
Heyman: Some would see it as failure, but I see it as taking something from nothing, and making it the biggest thing in all of wrestling. CM Punk you know that if it wasn't for ECW. You would still be working in your backyard, and you would never be in this business.
Punk: Paul, you can toot that little horn you have, as much as you want, but that doesn't answer my question. What are you doing here?
Heyman: See, CM Punk "Best in the World" I have a question for you. What ever happen to "Revolution"
{Right as those words come right out of Paul Heyman's mouth. The fans explode as KEVIN F'N STEEN comes from behind, and almost takes CM Punk's head off with a Kendo Stick across the head. Punk is trying to get back to his feet, but Steen is just kicking away at Punk. Paul is giving this a round of applause, as Punk is trying to make it to the ropes, but Steen is just nailing Punk with that kendo stick over, and over again. Steen finally grabs Punk, but he gets nailed with a stiff right hand. Punk isn't going down without a fight, but suddenly a Paul Heyman Low Blow! Punk falls right to his knees, as Steen comes walking right over. He grabs Punk, and levels him with a STEENALIZER!}
JR: What the hell is going on?
King: Well JR if you have eyes you would have already found out. Kevin Steen has seemed to join sides Paul Heyman
JR: I saw that, but the question is why did Keving Steen join with Paul Heyman though.
King: I guess we will have to wait, and see though.
*Commercial*
{We come straight back from commercial, and we see Todd Grisham come up to Kevin Steen, and Paul Heyman who are walking away. Paul, and Steen look at Todd, and just walk away as Heyman says "What happened tonight was nothing, but revenge."}
Handi-Cap Match
The Big Show vs Danny & Arin Grump
This match is nothing, but a pure squash. The Big Show has shown why he is one of the strongest, and baddest men on the planet. This man 7 feet tall, and 425 pounds. He looks to be in amazing shape. He grabs Danny, and throws him right into the turnbuckle with so much force that Danny can't even move from there. Show then grabs Arin, and tosses him as well. Big Show comes charging, and nails both men with a Splash! Arin falls to the mat, as Danny comes back, but he gets nailed with a Side Kick! Big Show picks up Arin, and drops him with a body slam that tosses him across the ring. The Big Show looks dominant, as he lifts up his arms high in the air! He is waiting for Arin, and Danny to get up. He then demolishes both men with a Showstopper! 1,2,3!
Your Winner by Pin-Fall The Big Show!
JR: Boy, The Big Show looked like a true giant in that ring. I can't think of anybody that can stop that man.
King: You know I have to agree with that, cause I have never seen a man so set in his ways. The Big Show has sent a message to all the guys in the back. I hope that they all head loud, and clear.
JR: Well fans I have some great news. Eric Bischoff is coming out next with some big news.
King: I can't wait to hear what he is going to say.
JR: Seems like business is about to pick up.
King: You can say that again.
Eric: Ladies, and Gentlemen, let me take a second to welcome you to the new, and improved Monday Night Nitro! See, in the past we came back big guns blazing, and we took this Mash-Up by storm. That was until one man decided that he didn't like the wrestling business, and wanted to venture out onto other things. So as I sat at home trying to find a way to bring myself back up. So I made a business deal, and Ted agreed to sell me this company. So now I am the Owner, and Operator of World Championship Wrestling! So welcome to my company this is now the house of true Revolution! This is the house that Eric Bischoff built. I am the one who is calling the shots, and I am the man that is going to take us to the promise land. We run this city, town....hell we OWN THE WORLD!
{The fans are going crazy right here in the heart of WCW in Atlanta, Georgia!}
Eric: Now, first things first. I am sure that you see this Big Gold Belt across my shoulder...Well this right here is the reason that we are all in this business to be the very best. I thought for weeks how I was going to make my Champions, and I finally came to the decision. See, I believe we have superstars that are either going to float along, or we have those ones that are going to rise to the occasion. So that is why I am going to announce our newest champions. First up let me introduce you to the brand new WCW Tag Team Champions!
{It's Cody Rhodes, and Ted Dibiase JR. They come down the ramp, and they are playing the crowd, as they are just smiling. While Eric hands them the gold. These two both hold the titles, and head up the ramp, as Eric Bischoff is smiling from ear to ear.}
Eric: Look, now I know that these may not just be the popular choices, but you know what. I don't care what you guys say this is all about making history. So without further waiting. Our Brand New United States Champion, and you will see this man in our Main Event tonight when he faces AJ Styles. So that means our new WCW United States Champion is.....
{Dolph Ziggler comes out, and the fans are actually cheering him. They are going crazy for him, as he just makes his way down the ramp, and he is playing the crowd. He enters the ring, and Eric hands him the United States Championship. Ziggler takes the title, and holds it high in the air before coming up the ramp, and out of the scene. All that is left is Eric Bischoff standing in the middle of the ring with WCW Title across his shoulder.}
Eric: See, I told you people that I am not hard to get along with, but now I think it's about time to show the world our brand new WCW Champion!
{The building is actually shaking, as The Man Called Sting is coming down the ramp. Eric though doesn't seem to thrilled about Sting coming down the ramp though. The fans are starting a huge "Sting" chant, as he comes right into the ring. He enters the ring, and he is staring at Eric, but unlike the other times we don't see Eric handing the title to Sting. The fans are starting to give it to Eric Bischoff.}
Sting: Look Eric, we are sick and tired of seeing this. The fans don't want you to just hand the title to the superstars you think deserve the title. The only good decision that you have made is making Dolph Ziggler an United States Champion. See, Dolph is a man that deserves to hold some gold, but you gave the Tag Team Titles over to two rookies, and it's over a team like The Road Warriors. What is going on Eric?
Eric: You listen here Sting, I don't give a damn what you think. When I bought this company from Ted Turner it was to make my decisions. So you know what Sting. How about you just do what I pay you to do. I pay you to wrestle, I don't pay you to make any decisions. So do your job, and I will do mine....YOU GOT THAT STINGER!!!!
{Sting is smiling, as Eric looks at him, and just smacks Sting right across the face. This changes everything, as Sting takes off his jacket, and tosses it across the ring. Sting is walking right at Eric, but wait a minute....Sting grabs Eric, but he doesn't notice that right behind, and coiled to strike is....RANDY ORTON!!!!}
{Sting doesn't see Randy right behind him though, and Eric finally breaks free, as Sting turns around, but Orton blasts him with a RKO!
JR: My God! That damn Viper Randy Orton just gave Sting a RKO! What is going on here.
King: Sting is a madman...Thank god for Randy Orton saving our boss.
{Orton is standing right above Sting, as Eric takes the big gold belt. He looks over at Randy Orton, and he puts the WCW Title right his shoulder. Sting is laid right out on the mat, as Orton holds the WCW Title high in the air, as Eric is raising his other arm high in the air!}
JR: The Age of Orton is upon us!
King: I couldn't think of a better WCW World Champion then Randy Orton!
{Sting is getting looked at, as Randy Orton is still standing right above him.}
*Commercial*
{We comeback from commercial, as we see Todd Grisham standing with NEW United States Champion, Dolph Ziggler!}
Ziggler: Now Todd, I know what you are going to say. What is the reason behind myself becoming the new United States Champion, but you see Todd the reason I became the US Champion is because that Eric BIschoff knows talent when he sees it.
Todd: Well, I am glad to hear that, but I was going to ask about Revolution,
Ziggler: What about it?
Todd: Well it seems that Kevin Steen, and CM Punk are not seeing eye to eye, and we are wondering if you can give us a little insight.
Ziggler: Listen real good Todd. I don't care if CM Punk, and Kevin Steen kill each other. I have no part in that, and I don't want any part in that. The Revolution was something in the past, and that's where I put it. I am on to bigger, and better things. Why, Cause I am a Show-Off!
Hennig: Hold it right there kid! You see you have to learn something you can be a show off all you want Dolph, but you will never beat Perfection!
Dolph: What are you thinking Curt? This isn't an old man's game anymore. This is all about the new age, and Curt you are looking at someone that is about to take this company by storm. This title around my waist is my ticket to bigger, and better things, but don't worry Curt. You will always be the "Perfect" running mate.
{Dolph walks away from the scene, as Perfect is standing right in front of him with a grin on his face.}
Curt: It seems it's time to show this rookie how the game is played "Perfectly"
Tag Team Match
Legacy (Rhodes & Dibiase) vs The Basham Brothers
This match is your standard tag team match. Legacy comes out with their newly award Tag Team Titles, and they play the crowd, as The Bashams are waiting inside of the ring. This match doesn't last too long, but it does show you that Dibiase, and Rhodes are a legit Tag Team. They just destory The Bashams and they show off some really great tag team moves. Dibiase lays out Doug with a stuff clothesline, as Rhodes plants Danny with The Cross-Rhodes! 1,2,3!
Your Winners Legacy!
JR: I have to say I was actually impressed by these youngsters. I believe that if they can get some more ring time together, and I have to believe that Legacy can become one of the best teams around.
King: What are you talking about Ross. This team is already one of the best in the company today. You are just blind, because you are only seeing what you want.
*Commercial*
{We come straight from commercial, and we see Randy Orton coming into the scene. The fans are buzzing, as Todd tries to stop him, but Orton just stares at him and he holds the title right into the camera before he heads out of the scene. We then head to the Main Event of the night Dolph Ziggler against AJ Styles.}
Main Event
Singles Non-Title Match
Dolph Ziggler vs AJ Styles
This is what WCW is all about making history, and putting on the best matches of all time. Ziggler and Styles lock right into tie-up. Styles goes a hold, but Ziggler gets out of it and he is quikc to put on a show for the crowd, as he makes a strut across the ring. Styles looks not impressed, as the fans are cheering on Ziggler. Styles comes running, but Ziggler with a clothesline. Styles springboards off the ropes and he catches Ziggler with a Crossbody! He drops Ziggler ont he back of his head. Styles is putting the boots to Ziggler before dropping him with a bodyslam. Styles climbs the top rope, as we see Ziggler looking up at him. Styles teases the go flying, but Ziggler saw it coming, and he slide right underneath the ropes away from AJ. Styles sees this, and he just drops from the top rope back to the mat. Ziggler rolls back into the ring, and he is charging right at Styles, but he leapfrogs over Ziggler. He turns around, and Styles drops him with an Armdrag. Ziggler back to his feet gets dropped with another Armdrag...Styles is on fire here, as he goes for another, but Zuggler sees it coming this time, and Styles this time meets a super sweet dropkick right on the jaw! Ziggler plays the crowd before he quickly locks on a headlock on the jaw of AJ Styles! Wait a minute.....We see him lock on the headlock, but here comes CURT HENNIG!
*Commercial*
We come straight back from commercial, as we see Ziggler still has the hold locked on. He looks at Hennig, and he begins to do a headstand, as he has the hold locked on Styles. Hennig doesn't look impressed though as he spits his gum right at Ziggler. The United States Champion isn't happy, as he lets go of Styles, and Zigger is staring over the ropes at Hennig, and he is demanding Hennig come in the ring, but Styles is waiting for Ziggler, and he just demolishes him with a PELE KICK! Ziggler is out like a light, as Styles makes the cover 1....2.....shoulder up by Ziggler! Styles thought that he had it won there. Ziggler is still woozy, and he isn't all there as we see Styles just lay out Ziggler with some high impact moves. He finishes Ziggler out with a Powerbomb. Styles climbs the top rope, and he sets up for the Spiral Tap, but at the very last second Ziggler rolls out of the way. Both men are out on the mat, as we see Ziggler and Styles both trying to make it to their feet. Ziggler gets on the second rope, but as the referee checks on Styles. The fans are letting Hennig have it, as he blasts Ziggler with a United States Championship with a shot right across the eyes! Perfect fixes his collar "Perfectly" and he heads up the ramp, as Ziggler out on his feet turns right into The STYLES CLASH! 1,2,3!
Your Winner AJ Styles by Pin-Fall!
{AJ Styles is playing the crowd, but he isn't getting that many cheers though. You can see that Styles isn't too happy though about Hennig "helping" him though. We see Hennig at the top of the ramp he just shugs his shoulders before leaving through the curtain. What is going to happen next week? Will CM Punk confront Kevin Steen, and Paul Heyman? Will Ziggler call out Curt Hennig? What does the Era of Orton have planned for Sting? TUNE IN NEXT WEEK TO FIND OUT!}
