BCCW hosted an hour-long hype package (akin to an abbreviated Superbowl countdown show) featuring special analysts Rocky Marciano & Georges St. Pierre giving added insight and offering their predictions (Cena & Sheamus). Show culminates with the following main event match - the final hook before the PPV.** BCCW Television title **MARK HENRY © w/ Buddy Rogers vs… GOLDBERG!! (debut!!) w/ versus Hype package of Mark Henry’s intimidating reign as inaugural BCCW TV champion (alongside Agent of the Year “Nature Boy” Buddy Rogers) - including his defeat of local-area strongman Ted Arcidi on BCCW TV Episode #4 and subsequent friction with BCCW VP Sheldon Goldberg. It was that clash of authority that begat this match, as Mark Henry taunted Sheldon for his inferiority while Mr. Goldberg vowed to procure a worthy challenge tonight. Rogers & Henry get their all-important pre-match mic time, and their interplay with Sheldon Goldberg (safely on the entrance ramp) takes longer than the actual match! When the dramatic reveal is finally made, and the ominous theme song begins - the entire building comes unglued! GOLDBERG (1998) IS HERE! Chill-inducing entrance, awe-inspiring staredown, into a charging SPEAR by Goldberg that topples the mighty TV champion! Goldberg intensifies before the audience, stopping only to toss Buddy Rogers over the top rope by his immaculately-coiffed pompadour! Goldberg calls for it! He hoists a dazed Mark Henry into the air in a remarkable display of strength! JACKHAMMER! 1!.. 2!.. 3!!! WE HAVE A NEW CHAMPION just like that!!Winner (and NEW BCCW TV Champion): GOLDBERGThe perfect ending for the free TV portion - the live fans are electrified, the commentators are marking out and shilling for the PPV, Rogers & Henry are outraged and stunned - all the while Goldberg has crashed social media sites and trended everywhere with his impromptu, surprise victory! What a way to start off “New Years Evolution”! With a BANG! We close with Matt Striker having a few words with BCCW President Paul Bowser and imploring fans to purchase the PPV - you do NOT want to miss this!!! ** CUT ** __________________________________________________________________________** LIVE PPV **Special evening hosts FRENCH ANGEL & SAMMI LANE give it the New Years eve twist with their stylish and charming intro. They run down the card, list the championship matches and hype the event! This is BCCW!!Cut to Ringside Announce Team: Gordon Solie & Matt Striker Solie & Striker welcome viewers from ringside and hype the World championship main event. As a result of the events of BCCW TV Episode #4 (Axis of Evil postmatch beatdown) - Schmidt/DeBeers/Borga have been BANNED from the building tonight! Solie & Striker close by reviewing the BCCW MW title tourney brackets and hype the upcoming match...** CUT TO RING ** __________________________________________________________________________** BCCW Middleweight Championship **RVD 4:20 versus TOMMASO CIAMPA versus Recap of the entire MW tourney, all culminating in this Final challenge. RVD’s meteoric rise coincides with Tommaso Ciampa’s ascension - all the while his mysterious benefactor and sensei lurks in the background. Exciting, hard-hitting opener to start with both men coming to a series of close near-falls. But in the end, a black-hooded mystery giant appears ringside to pull Ciampa by the ankle out of the way of an RVD 5-Star Frog Splash (RVD crashes to the mat stunned). Tommaso Ciampa uses the blunder to toss RVD (and his now-damaged rib area) outside the ring and begin arguing with the referee. This allows the black-hooded giant to administer a devastating STOMACH-CLAW to RVD outside the ring! The high-flying fan favorite has been grounded, before being rolled back into the ring where a Project Ciampa backcracker seals the deal for good! Winner (and NEW BCCW MW champion): TOMMASO CIAMPAPost match, the black-hooded giant stands alongside the victorious Ciampa - but when RVD starts stirring they both lay a beating down on him. Finally, the black-hooded man unmasks to reveal… KILLER KOWALSKI!!In a grand closing sequence, Killer Kowalski proudly awards the BCCW MW title to Ciampa while cutting a vicious (if not somewhat rambling and nonsensical) promo putting BCCW on notice… there’s only one dominant camp in fantasy wrestling - and you’re looking at it! Killer Kowalski Camp is now open for business! And it’s off to a championship start!!New BCCW MW champion TOMMASO CIAMPA** CUT ** __________________________________________________________________________** BCCW Flyweight Championship **BLKJEEZ © vs. PAUL LONDON vs. RUCKUS vs. BRIAN KENDRICK(Ladder Match) vs. vs. vs. The history, rivalry, jealousy and competition between all 4 men is highlighted (including some footage from the XPW Remixed archives of their prior clashes). Exciting car-crash style match that pulls out all the stops. Space-age, insane spot fest made even better by everybody’s genuine intention of topping their opponents - and the crowds rabid appreciation of it all. 2 ladders get destroyed, a 3rd gets irreversibly bent, and Ruckus takes a big bump off a nearby scaffold through a stack of tables (they had been trying to shimmy the lighting grid overhang at one point). In the end, Paul London has sure victory in hand (with the title belt in reach) - but succumbs to the crowds thirst for adrenaline and launches a picture-perfect shooting star press from the top of the ladder to the floor onto Kendrick & BLKJeez! Tons of “HOLY SH**” chants and “THIS IS AWESOME!” Paul London survives the plunge, and with growing anticipation re-enters the ring and mounts the ladder. The crowd swells with every step until he reaches the top, unclasps the championship, and the building explodes!! PAUL LONDON IS THE NEW CHAMPION! He nearly breaks down into tears at the top of the ladder, clutching the championship belt to his face! The winds of change continue to blow here in BCCW as we’ve just seen our 3rd new champion tonight!!Winner (and NEW BCCW Flyweight champion): PAUL LONDON (2003)** CUT ** ** HOST INTERLUDE **Sammi Lane wants to get a word with new BCCW Flyweight champion Paul London, but gets Tommaso Ciampa and crew instead. Killer Kowalski bogarts the mic with another intimidating lecture before leaving with his troops (Angel & Ryback got into a tense stare down before Killer called him off)... they still have more surprises to come.** CUT ** __________________________________________________________________________DEAN AMBROSE vs. CRUSHER CASEY(First Blood Match) vs. Casey is the tough, resilient, “never-say-die”, Blue-collar working class hero… Dean Ambrose the shifty, paranoid, ultra-violent madman with an anarchistic bent. This match has been made personal by the promo work shared between the two men, as well as the mutually-spilled bloodshed (see BCCW TV Episode #3 and #4). Stiff, intense slobber knocker that’s all physical and takes us outside the ring and through the crowd area. Story of the match has Dean Ambrose taking Crusher Casey to a level of ultra-violence he's never been to before, only to be slightly taken aback when Crusher embraces the anarchy. Dean Ambrose winds up winning the match (with a crushing unprotected chair shot), but even he seems to realize it took everything he had to defeat the Legend. Despite the bloody loss, a sea of Irish flags continue to wave for Crusher as commentators wonder aloud how a battle of this magnitude will permenantly change both men. Winner: DEAN AMBROSE** CUT ** __________________________________________________________________________** BCCW Woman’s Title **TRISH STRATUS (2006) vs. MILDRED BURKE © (1946) versus Tough match with a “Fantasy Wrestling Through History” package focusing on the 1st time these woman clashed (XPW Remixed). Evenly contested with an emphasis on exciting submission attempts and acrobatic counters. In a tribute to their hard-fought bout, they even elicit a ref bump on a missed missile dropkick attempt - momentarily plunging us into lawlessness. At that point, leader of the Mean Girls clique SABLE tries getting a piece of the action… only to be run-off by the crowd pleasing entrance of local hero Alexxis Neveah! She gets a warm welcome from the New England crowd, only to turn and give mentor Trish Stratus the double-bird salute!(?!?) BAM! Alexxis nails Trish Stratus with a springboard bulldog! Crowd is stunned by the turn, and Alexxis just stares darkly upon Trish on the mat - with uncaring eyes. But Alexxis still isn’t done, and hits a hangman’s DDT on champion Mildred Burke for good measure! Alexxis is going solo and doesn’t give a damn about the booing crowd! She storms out of the arena - the referee eventually stirs from his slumber - and the match eventually resumes. Shortly thereafter Mildred Burke manages to reverse a Trish Stratus Sharpshooter attempt into an armbar! But Trish Stratus rolls through THAT only to wind up in an airtight Triangle choke! Mildred Burke torques it - Trish tries to fight it - but has to tap out!! Mildred Burke retains! Post match, both women share a moment of mutual respect - and while Trish is disappointed, she accepts Burke’s praise and raises the champions arm in victory. Winner (and STILL BCCW Womans champion): MILDRED BURKE** CUT ** ** HOST INTERLUDE **Words with the now disgruntled Alexxis Nevaeh who goes full-blown bitchy-catty-jealous heel on former mentor Trish Stratus. What about ME?? What about LEXXUS?? Sammi Lane starts to get wise with Alexxis when who should saunter into the scene once more? - Killer Kowalski and his championship camp. Turns out they were the ones who put the bug in Lexxus' ear about Trish and urged her to "assert herself". With her new backing, Alexxis promises to take down Trish on her way to reclaiming the Woman's championship...Alexxis Nevaeh turns heel and joins Camp Killer Kowalski.** CUT ** __________________________________________________________________________** BCCW 6-Man Tag Team championship **TRULY BAD INTENTIONS © (w/ Killer Kowalski) versus ELIMINATORZ w/ versus So now the story of the night has been the growing unification of Killer Camp –a roster swelling with gold. Counting Tensai and now Alexxis Nevaeh amongst their ranks they are formidable and united (with Ryback’s earlier divisive transgressions against the team brushed aside). Truly Bad Intentionz surge of momentum was answered head-on by Low-Ki & the Eliminatorz. Low-Ki’s ominous pre-match promo helped set this stage as a battle of honor & respect vs. underhanded villainy. Newly-crowned BCCW MW champion Tommaso Ciampa is fully credited as a 2-division champion and mentor extraordinaire Killer Kowalski accompanies them to ringside. His looming presence is the story of the match. Eliminatorz are sharp and crisp – TBI resolute and ferocious. Everybody looks good (even with Killer riding Ryback hard at ringside one point about following up an attack), but in the end TBI are just too strong. Kronus gets back-cracked into a Ryback shellshock for the pin. Eliminatorz were game, but TBI took it to another level – and their head coach Killer Kowalski touted their championship greatness to put Mash-Up Wrestling and BCCW on BLAST. Winners (and STILL BCCW 6-Man Tag Team champions): TRULY BAD INTENTIONZ ** CUT ** __________________________________________________________________________** MEGA BRAWL!! **(Winner chooses championship!!)1) “Dangerous” Danny Davis (tossed out by a rampaging Wild Samoans team)2) Big Daddy Voodoo (combination elimination via everybody in the ring)3) Heath Slater (Eliminated to huge cheers by Mil Mascaras)4) Elia “The Statement” Markoupolus (chased by Wild Samoans & backdropped out of the ring by Mike Awesome) 5) Gus Sonnenberg(A ton of fight in the Flyweight sensation, but tossed by the Headhunterz (w/ Awesome) in an outmatched brawl)6) Headhunter A(Wild Samoan double-clothesline!)7) Damien Sandow(Mil Mascaras springboard dropkick propelled Sandow off the ring apron where he crashed directly into manager Wild Red Berry)8) Wild Samoan SIKA(Remaining Headhunter w/ Mike Awesome + ringside assist from Tamina Snuka… but Sika got a small measure of revenge by literally chasing Tamina all the way backstage!)9) The MIZ(Tricked by Gorgeous George into double-teaming Mil Mascaras, only to be sneak-dumped from behind! Miz is outraged! Gorgeous George gesticulates with a flourish!)10) Gorgeous George(… but the Human Orchid is quickly eliminated by a charging Mil Mascaras dropkick from behind – while simultaneously being pulled to the ground by a vindictive Miz! George’s valet Gentleman Tornado seemingly *misses* that entire exchange and now his master is eliminated! And furious!!)11) TARU(Alberto Del Rio from behind)12) Dick Shikat(He – and his entire “Combination” crew of Axl Keegan & Tony Altomare) were run off by the surprise entry of a head-bandaged, chair-wielding Necro Butcher! His revenge for being taken out by the Combination! (see BCCW Fight Night III) Necro Butchers wild and wooly run-in amped up the intensity level for the matches end-game) 13) Headhunter B(He and Wild Samoan Afa tumble over the top rope together)14) Wild Samoan AFA(He and Headhunter B tumble over the top rope together)15) D-Von Dudley(Aces & 8s leader gets backdropped over the top by Mil Mascaras)16) Chase Del Monte(After making the Final 5 by clinging onto every rope in sight in hilarious fashion, he’s finally pried loose and deposited over the top rope (in powerbomb fashion right onto his manager Tony Rumble and Pitbulls tag team at ringside) by Mike Awesome in an AWESOME elimination)17) Titus O’Neil(Impressive showing for the muscle-half of Prime Time Playaz, but he’s caught boasting and bragging – before being thrown over the top rope by Alberto Del Rio)18) Mike Awesome(Big man gets an impressive run, using dominant strength offense on both opponents. It takes Mascaras and nephew ADR briefly teaming up (to GREAT cheers) to eliminate him with a tandem double dropkick!)19) Alberto Del Rio(Great finale, with a tense stand-off and growing anticipation even before the first clinch. Crowd going ballistic over the match up, with Solie & Striker providing a brief “Fantasy Wrestling Through History” on commentary (Mascaras & ADR had a violent clash in XPW Remixed that resulted in Mil Mascaras leaving that Territory in shame). But he is redeemed tonight against his egotistical nephew by eliminating him for the win!!)** WINNER ** Mil Mascaras (1975)!!(Mil teetered on a loss many times, before firing back with the fans support. He hurricanrana’d ADR’s assistant Ricardo Rodriguez right out of the fray. He skinned the cat in highly-athletic fashion (like Steamboat used to do) to stave off elimination, and charge back at his evil nephew with a charge from behind that propels him of the ring! Mascaras has done it! A huge burst of red, white and green confetti falls from the sky! Mascaras falls to his knees in thanks and prayer, gracious for the victory – and soaking up the crowd acclaim! Mil Mascaras has earned a BCCW title shot in any division he chooses!!)** CUT ** ** HOST INTERLUDE **Joyous backstage celebration with Mascaras. Angel even speaks a few phrases in Spanish, showing off his multilingual talents. Mascaras doesn't reveal what belt he will target just yet, but promises to announce it on BCCW TV Episode #5!! Stay tuned!!** CUT ** __________________________________________________________________________JOHN CENA (2013) versus STRANGLER LEWIS(Xtreme Rulez Grudge Match) versus Co-main event time. The controversy and history between both contenders is well established, if not ever completely understood (but it goes back to literally Day #1). The contempt between the men has escalated into outright hostility. Strangler Lewis is on his undefeated comeback tour and managing director of the Mash-Up Wrestling WORLD champion Lou Thesz. His credentials are a mile long and his MMA-styled walkout is part Cain Velasquez part Mike Tyson. Strangler’s unholy association with the so-called “Axis of Evil” is discussed tonight – including the ultimatum to BAN Schmidt, DeBeers & Borga from the building tonight! John Cena meanwhile is on a comeback tour of his own – righting the epic-level wrongs that ended XPW Remixed. HUGE reaction to Cena’s homecoming tonight. We start with some major-league stalling from Strangler and his cornermen that only draws the crowds ire further. So by the time Lewis & Cena finally make contact in a test of strength match (only to break apart again) it gets a huge reaction. Cena has enough and turns the offensive dial up to 2013 and we’re off into the mix. Cena overpowers Lewis to start, only to become aggressively out-wrestled by the Strangler. Cena drop toeholds him for the STFU, but Lewis flees the scene by rolling out of the ring. They keep the pace measured, until back in the ring Cena gets caught in a sick T-Bone Suplex that lands him awkwardly on his head and suddenly it’s all Strangler. Somewhere in there (a hard headbutt perhaps), Cena bleeds a little from the top of the head. But the steady stream of crimson accentuates the violent offense of Strangler (hangmans DDT, hanging suplex and even an attempted Kimura attempt). Commentators continue to cover the highly volatile and personal feud between Lewis & Cena, culminating in a disgraceful public relations ploy by the Strangler when he mocked Cena for his “Make A Wish” aspirations and put a deadly stretch hold on one of Cena’s young “fans” (see below) that hit the social media circus in seconds. Cena soaks up the blood lust and crowd fervor to rebound on offense. He finishes his rally with a top rope leg drop that bounces Strangler’s head off a nearby steel chair! They brawl around ringside a bit, using the guardrail and steel steps to engage the fans. Back in the ring, a Five-Knuckle Shuffle sets up an FU attempt – but Lewis counters into his Dragon Sleeper! About 1/3rd of the crowd explodes into cheers. A rising “Let’s Go Cena!” chant begins. It encourages Cena to continue fighting, but a Torture Rack Drop from Lewis lays Cena out again (as commentators discuss NWA friction Ed Lewis shares with Lex Luger). The Strangler tries playing to the crowd like Cena but draws only loud boos instead (infuriating him further). Strangler goes for the kill but Cena pops up into a desperation FUAA that hits successfully! Crowd pops, Lewis is down, but Cena can’t get to the cover in time. 1!.. 2!.. KICKOUT! Both men struggle to their feet where Lewis hits a low blow and sets up a spear attempt… but at the last moment, Cena hits a drop toe hold into an STFU! Shades of WORLD champion Lou Thesz himself and the 2012 Mash-Up Wrestling “Finisher of the Year”!! Lewis claws and scrapes his way to a break, ultimately using the discarded ringbell nearby as a weapon. Strangler Lewis grasps Cena in a front facelock like he’s restraining a wild alligator, and crotches him on the top rope. Strangler Lewis tries setting him up for a super-plex – but gets reversed into an unbelievable TOP-ROPE FUAA!! The Strangler crashes down with mighty impact, and Cena is on him for the cover! 1!.. 2!.. 3!! Cena pinned the Strangler!!Winner: JOHN CENA John Cena cuts a serious promo on his place in Mash-Up Wrestling, BCCW and the end result of his run in XPW Remixed. Regardless who wins tonight, John Cena wants a piece of Lou Thesz. This is personal. Then he becomes World champion and assumes his rightful place in history.** CUT ** __________________________________________________________________________** MASH-UP WRESTLING WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH **LOU THESZ © vs. SHEAMUS versus Big time wrestling main event hype. Everything has led to this climatic match. “Fantasy Wrestling Through History” takes us back to XPW Remixed “Night of Champions II” when Thesz & Sheamus clashed the first time - a rematch destined to come. But now the stages have changed, and the repercussions have grown. Sheamus and team may have won the 6-man tag team match on BCCW TV Episode #4, but the post match attack by the Axis of Evil left many things up to question. Will the Axis of Evil still have a vested interest in this match, despite being banned from the building? Will Sheamus bad knee (the source of constant Thesz attacks on BCCW TV Episode #4) come back to haunt him tonight? In training vignettes, Touts and you tube clips - Lou Thesz has demonstrated about a dozen different counters to the Brogue Kick. But will he have enough strength to lock Sheamus in the Mash-Up Wrestling “Finisher of the Year”? (STF).
They go back and forth with early crowd momentum going either way, like Rock vs. Punk at Royal Rumble 2013 (there are small but vocal pockets of obnoxious pro-Thesz fans). Sheamus thunders through the earlier assault, putting Thesz on his heels. But he’s not able to put the champ away quick enough, and soon his wounded appendage becomes the focal point of Lou’s attack. He wraps that bandaged knee around the ringposts, off the ropes and stomps the heck out of it. Yet Sheamus can’t quit and the fight continues in earnest. The Pale Swordsman drops Thesz with his finishing sequence of moves, but in an expert last-second counter Thesz maneuvers a charging Brogue Kick from Sheamus into his own STF! Thankfully for Sheamus he was able to get a rope break (at the count of 4 of course) and continue the match. Sheamus fights back from the brink of defeat and actually puts Thesz THROUGH a ringside table with his Celtic Cross (in the spot of the match)! Sheamus drags Thesz all the way back into the ring where he goes for the pinfall. 1!.. 2!.. SUDDENLY - BLACKOUT!
The arena goes dark - Striker is screaming into the headset that the “AXIS OF EVIL IS HERE!” and under the cover of darkness, they grab Sheamus up and Triple Bomb him through the remaining announce table - WWE Shield-Style!! By the time vision resumes - the lights come up - all you can see is Thesz lying dumbfounded in the center of the ring, while Sheamus is collapsed in a heap outside the ring scattered with table debris! The crowd boos voraciously. Solie & Striker question the injustice. Thesz drags Sheamus all the way into the ring and gets the 3 count!
But Paul Bowser interrupts! He restarts the match! Bell rings! Strangler Lewis objects and winds up getting into a brawl with Sheamus at ringside! Everybody is fighting! Now JOHN CENA runs in to tackle Strangler Lewis! They battle away into the night! Somebody tries lunging at Sheamus from the crowd area… it is HANS SCHMIDT! The German and the Irishman get into a pull apart brawl! Meanwhile, Lou Thesz has crept back into the ring as the referee has been counting the entire time - and sure enough, Sheamus doesn’t makes back into the ring at 10.5... Ring the bell, we have a finish.Winner by count-out (and STILL World champion): LOU THESZSheamus is outraged. Thesz raises the belt and is ushered backstage by handlers where they get into a car (engine running) and disappear from New England, World championship still in tow. Meanwhile Strangler Lewis is left in the ring to feel the wrath of a vengeful Sheamus… and gets smited. The real Brogue Kick is ultimately unleashed upon Strangler, allowing Sheamus to pose with his BCCW HW championship and send the crowd home as happy as they can be…** FADE OUT ** __________________________________________________________________________
