Battle of the Belts Results
Jade Cargill comes out to start the show, with the UWA Women’s Championship on one shoulder and the AEW Women’s Championship on the other. She gets to the ring and basks in a sea of cheers and boos.
"I stand before you today as the undisputed, dominant force in women's wrestling. I am the best wrestler on the planet. I proved it against Sasha Banks this past weekend. I’ll prove it against Thunder Rosa at Starrcade. And I’ll continue to prove it week in and week out. I am Jade Cargill, the champion of champions, and there's no one who can stand in my way. So brace yourselves, because the reign of That B**** has only just begun!"

Coach and Taz run down tonight’s card, including The Acclaimed vs. Los Parks, an 8-man tag match between the Chosen Bros, Hurricane and Mick Foley against The Apex, plus Sammy Guevara faces Cody Rhodes for the AEW World Championship. Our first match of the night features Paige VanZant’s return to the ring following her injury at the hands of Ronda Rousey.
Match 1 - Paige VanZant (8-4) vs. Velvet Sky (1-3) w/ The Beautiful People
VanZant gets the win with a Pedigree at 4:28.
The Beautiful People attacked after the match until Ronda Rousey wandered out, holding a baseball bat. Sky, Rayne and Love looked at her warily, but she just smiled and asked them to hold onto VanZant. They grabbed onto VanZant, and Rousey buried the bat into VanZant’s stomach. Rousey spits in her face and walks off angrily.

We come back from the break to a backstage attack as The Apex are laying into The Hurricane. JBL gives him the Clothesline from Hell and Shawn Spears plants him with the C4, knocking him out.

Match 2 - Jungle Boy (4-1) w/ Luchasaurus vs. The Blade (1-1) w/ The Butcher
Jungle Boy defeats the Blade with the Snare Trap in 3:12. Following the match, the lights flicker and “failure” appears on the big screen in red.

Coach and Taz give an update on The Hurricane, who will be unable to compete tonight after the Apex’s attack. It looks like the Chosen Bros and Mick Foley will be shorthanded.
Match 3 - Jeff Cobb, Matt Riddle & Mick Foley vs. Beer Money, Shawn Spears & JBL w/ Jeff Jarrett
The Apex has the upper hand early and is able to isolate Riddle until he gets a hot tag in to Foley, who gets a brief run until he’s hit with a James Storm superkick. After about 10 minutes, The Apex are getting the upper hand due to the numbers game. Jon Moxley’s music hits, and he walks out in his wrestling gear. He gets onto the Chosen Bros’ side and holds out his hand for a tag, while Jarrett complains to the ref. The ref allows it.
Foley eventually gets Mox for a hot tag, and Mox runs the table, eventually pinning Roode after a Paradigm Shift at 16:48. The Apex scatters after the match, and Jarrett is seething.

After the break, Taz is in the ring and says he has an announcement. He’s been dancing around this for the past few months, but Raven’s unprovoked attack on him at Battle of the Belts has reawakened the beast. Taz wants Raven in the ring one more time, at Revolution. This time, Raven will be the one left laying when the One Man Crime Spree takes him out.
This brings out Hook, who has his new FTW Championship slung over one shoulder. He gets to the ring and appraises his dad. Then he nods his approval and they shake hands.

Match 4 - The Acclaimed (5-3) vs. Los Parks (5-6)
Caster pins L.A. Park Sr. with the Mic Drop at 6:32

Main Event - AEW World Championship: Cody Rhodes © (12-2) vs. Sammy Guevara (12-4) w/ Tay Melo
Rhodes and Guevara have a back-and-forth match. Melo tries helping Guevara from the outside, but she eventually gets sent to the back. Guevara gets one nearfall after hitting a GTH. The end of the match comes after Guevara hits a falling DDT and goes to the top rope. As he jumps off into a 630 splash, Rhodes recovers and hits the Cody Cutter on a rotating Guevara. He picks Guevara up for a CrossRhodes and the pinfall victory at 16:49.
An exhausted Rhodes celebrates with the belt and walks up the ramp. As he gets to the stage, he turns and raises the belt in the air. Goldberg emerges from backstage and spins Rhodes around. He kicks him in the gut and delivers a vicious Jackhammer on the stage. Goldberg picks up the belt and stands with his foot on Rhodes’ chest, holding the belt high as the show ends.
