Mr. McMahon starts the show off in the ring with a couple of important announcements. He begins with the unpopular announcement that he has sought and been granted a restraining order on Sting. He has ramped up security in the building, and if Sting enters the building tonight, he will be arrested.
Second, because of Sting’s interference in last night’s main event, Mr. McMahon is ordering a rematch between Ricky Steamboat and Triple H for this Friday on Smackdown. This time it will take place inside a steel cage! Mr. McMahon will once again be the special guest referee. And if anyone tries to interfere, Ricky Steamboat will be automatically disqualified and Triple H will get his shot at the UWA Men’s Universal Championship at Wrestlemania III.
Speaking of Wrestlemania III, Mr. McMahon is bringing the WWE Universe the biggest Christmas gift imaginable: WrestleMania! WrestleMania III will take place December 24 and December 25 from SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, and it will be at WrestleMania III, on Christmas Day, where “Stone Cold” Steve Austin will defend the WWE World Championship versus Roman Reigns!

Coming back from commercial, Mean Gene Okerlund interviewed Ricky Steamboat to get his reaction to Mr. McMahon’s announcement that he must once again put his title shot on the line against Triple H. Steamboat said that Mr. McMahon can do whatever he wants to try to give his title shot to Triple H, but it won’t work. He will keep his shot at the UWA Men’s Universal Championship. He’ll fight Triple H every day for the next month if that’s what it takes to get a shot at becoming the most celebrated champion in the Universal Wrestling Association.

Rey Fenix and Sheamus were the final two men standing in a tag team battle royal after Sheamus tossed Jey Uso over the top rope at 19:22. By being the final two men in the ring, they earned their tag teams an opportunity to get a title shot for the UWA Universal Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania III. This Friday on Smackdown, Lucha Bros. and The Bar will face off in a tag team match to determine which team will challenge FTR for the titles at WrestleMania III. Other teams participating in the battle royal included The Usos, Harlem Heat, Hardy Boyz, Men of the Year, The Elite, Street Profits, Los Matadores, and Deuce ‘n Domino.

Mean Gene Okerlund interviewed the WWE Tag Team Champions Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano, who although disappointed not to be included in the battle royal for a shot at the UWA Universal Tag Team Championships against the team they defeated for the WWE Tag Team Championships, aren’t dwelling on it. They are getting ready to defend at WWE against any team that wants the shot. #DIY will take on all challengers and remain the champions, day in, day out.

Trish Stratus defeated Toni Storm by pinfall at 12:17 after executing a Chick Kick on her.

Dr. Britt Baker, DMD was interviewed by Mean Gene Okerlund. Baker said that she feels she should be rewarded for being the sole survivor of the women’s Survivor Series match. She wants a shot at the big prize – she’s coming for Sasha Banks and the UWA Women’s Universal Championship.

The Miz hosted MizTV. His extra special guest was supposed to be WWE World Champion “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, but he has cancelled the guest – to a sweeping disapproval from the WWE Universe – to use the entire time to complain at length about how Brock Lesnar ruined his chance to win the UWA Men’s Universal Championship. The Miz said that if Lesnar were here, he would challenge him to a match and utterly humiliate him inside of this very ring.
Brock Lesnar surprised The Miz by being in the arena and coming out to the ring. The Miz turned pale and started backtracking. Lesnar accepted his challenge. The Miz tried to get out of it, but a referee was on hand and so it was set to take place right away.
Brock Lesnar defeated The Miz by disqualification at 4:36 when he was kicked in the crotch by Maryse Ouellet. After Lesnar got his hands on The Miz, he took him to suplex city. He dragged out the punishment about 2 minutes longer than was necessary. When he lifted The Miz onto his shoulders, Maryse made a shocking appearance, climbing into the ring and slapping Lesnar in the face. Lesnar laughed at her, but then she kicked him below the belt, causing him to crumple over. The Miz gave Lesnar a Skull Crushing Finale. Then he and his wife put the boots to Lesnar before mocking the audience by striking some victory poses. Lesnar got up and looked like a raging bull. The Miz and Maryse made eye contact with him from across the ring and quickly scrambled out to the floor and fled.

Coming back from commercial break, Mean Gene Okerlund interview the Heenan Family. Triple H hijacked the interview to talk about how Sting keeps cheating him out of win after win, and said that the Heenan Family would ensure that he will get what is rightfully his. When he told the other members of the Heenan Family they had to make a plan for Friday, Adam Cole scoffed. Triple H asked him what the problem was and he said he had his own business to tend to. Triple H called him out for not being a team player, but Cole questioned why everything had to be about Triple H all the time. Why are all the champions always asked to do things for Triple H, but he never has to do anything for them? Bobby Heenan stepped up to stop any more infighting from happening. He said that the family always does what is in the best interest of the family, and right now that is making sure Triple H gets the UWA Men’s Universal Championship title shot at WrestleMania III. Heenan then told Gene that the interview was over and ushered his family away from the interview set.

Lita and Bayley defeated Peyton Royce and Billie Kay of IIconics by pinfall at 9:22 to retain the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships after Bayley executed a Belly-to-Bayley suplex on Billie Kay, setting her up to receive a Litasault for Lita.
Bayley and Lita’s victory celebration was interrupted by Rhea Ripley and Shayna Baszler, who said they wanted to get a shot at their titles. Ruby Riot and Liv Morgan and then Dakota Kai andIyo Sky came out to make their own claims to be the next challengers. Finally, making their surprise return to WWE, Nikki Bella and Brie Bella said that they deserved to have the next shot at the champions (even though they haven’t been in WWE for quite some time). The disagreements led to pushing, shoving, and fighting among the prospective title challengers, which had to be broken up by referees and other security officials.

The Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns, came to the ring accompanied by the Wise Man, Paul Heyman, Umaga, and The Usos. Reigns was booed for asking the WWE Universe to acknowledge him. He said the fans didn’t deserve to hear him speak, so he gave the mic to Heyman, who spoke on his Tribal Chief’s behalf. Heyman admitted that Survivor Series didn’t go according to plan. Reigns was without question the most talented superstar in the men’s Survivor Series match. If anyone needs proof, look to the Titantron. There, a replay of Reigns spearing “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and pinning him for the 3-count was played on what seemed like an infinite repeat. Heyman said that Reigns pinned the WWE World Champion, and he will do it again at WrestleMania. But Reigns isn’t willing to wait that long for Austin to acknowledge that Reigns is better than him. His Tribal Chief is in a foul mood because Austin acted every bit the poor sport by later giving him a Stone Cold Stunner and costing him the match. Reigns then grabbed the mic from Heyman and said that he wanted Austin to acknowledge his transgressions and apologize, and then acknowledge that he is better than Austin or else he and his family might just have to go force it out of him.
The sound of shattered glass brough out the WWE World Champion ”Stone Cold” Steve Austin, who marched right down into the ring. He took a mic and said that he ain’t got shit to say to Reigns. He got what was coming to him and if he thinks he can order Ol’ Stone Cold around, then he’s fixin’ to get a big ol’ can of whoop ass opened on him. Heyman barked that no one speaks to his Tribal Chief that way. The Usos threated to punish him for his disrespect. Stone Cold offered another sign of disrespect with a couple of raised middle fingers for everyone in the ring. The Usos and swarm Austin, but he eventually gives a Stone Cold Stunner to each of them. Umaga, however, drops him with a Samoan Spike, after which Reigns picked up Austin and put him in a guillotine choke. The ring filled with officials, but they were powerless to stop anything. Reigns released Austin as soon as he felt like it, took the mic and said that Austin could expect this happen again and again as long as he fails to show his family the respect it deserves.

“Macho Man” Randy Savage defeated Randy Orton by pinfall at 17:30 to retain the WWE United States Championship. Orton nearly pulled off the win a few minutes before the match ended when Savage went for his first attempt at the diving elbow drop. Orton popped up off the mat to execute a RKO from out of nowhere. Unfortunately for him, Savage hit the mat with such an impact that he turned over and rolled near the ropes, where he was able to get a foot on the bottom rope during Orton’s pinfall attempt. Orton attempted a punt kick, which failed to connect, and Savage gave him an atomic drop and a neckbreaker to start his comeback. Two minutes later, Savage went for another diving elbow drop. This time it didn’t miss.
