* Matches taped for Sunday Night Heat to be aired on July 10, 2022. *
The Usos defeated Psicosis and Super Crazy of Mexicools by pinfall at 6:33 when Jimmy Uso pinned Super Crazy after he gave him an Uso splash following a double superkick from he and his brother Jey.
Cesaro defeated Mark Andrews by pinfall at 5:15 after he executed the Neutralizer on him.
Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez defeated Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz (aka Fire ‘N Flava) by pinfall at 9:07 when Perez got the pinfall on Steelz after she executed Pop Rocks on her.
* Beginning Monday Night RAW. *
The Hart Foundation defeated the Young Bucks by pinfall at 11:38 when Bret “The Hitman” Hart pinned Matt Jackson after The Hitman and The Anvil executed the Hart Attack on him. After the match, Hart took the microphone and said that he and his brother-in-law were the best tag team in WWE, but they don’t have any gold to show for it. That’s all going to change at Money in the Bank because last night they won a shot at the UWA Universal Tag Team Championships and they plan on striking while the iron is hot. Then, they remembered that they never got their re-match for the Smackdown Tag Team Championships, so they want those belts, too. However, seeing as how FTR are the Undisputed Tag Team Championships, they might as well challenge for all three titles. FTR versus Hart Foundation for the UWA Universal Tag Team and WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championships, next week. What do you say? Next, the Dudley Boyz came out and said that if teams can just demand re-matches and get them, then they want they’re rematch, too. A few choice words were exchanged, then there was some pushing and shoving, which led both teams to brawling until officials entered the ring to separate the two teams.
Mean Gene Okerlund spoke to the Men of the Year, “All Ego” Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky, who told him that they were close personal friends of the UWA Universal Men’s Champion, Nick Aldis, and that is why two weeks ago, they came to the ring to show that ill-mannered prairie cowboy, Brock Lesnar, what happens when you disrespect the man who will have a 1-million-year galactic reign. When Mean Gene asked why they backed out of the ring when Lesnar came to the ring last week, they said they had to leave immediately after their match for an important engagement arranged months in advance by their agent – because the Men of the Year are always in hot demand!
Lita defeated Liv Morgan by pinfall at 5:22 after she executed a Litasault on her. With the win, Lita qualified for the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match.
Umaga defeated Keith Lee by pinfall at 7:24 after he gave him the Samoan Spike. Just before that happened, Lee got Umaga onto his shoulders, but Roman Reigns ran into the ring and hit him with a spear while Paul Heyman distracted the referee.
Mean Gene Okerlund met up with Bobby “The Brain” Heenan, who said that it was real cute of the Hart Foundation and Dudley Boyz to challenge FTR to a match one day, one continent, and one ocean removed from when they did what the Hart Foundation failed to do just two weeks ago, and that is beat Strike Force for the UWA Universal Tag Team Championships at the UWA Supercard. He said they were trying to make the best tag team in the world look like cowards by throwing out challenges they can’t accept because they are still in America. So instead, Heenan said he had a good idea – how about next week, the Harts and the Dudleys fight each other and the winner can get the next shot at the Triple Tag Champs?
WALTER defeated Adam Page by pinfall at 13:05 to retain the WWE United States Championship. WALTER received more cheers than boos in front of the German crowd. He thwarted a Buckshot Lariat attempt with a running big boot, then delivered a pair of folding powerbombs followed by a splash off the top rope to get the win.
Rowdy Roddy Piper was joined by WWE Undisputed World Champion Triple H, WWE Intercontinental Champion Adam Cole, and their manager, Bobby “The Brain” Heenan on Piper’s Pit. Piper asked them about their recent matches against The Undertaker and Sting, respectively. Triple H and Adam Cole claimed they beat them both, even though the matches ended in double DQs, and said that it was time to move on and let other more deserving competition get an opportunity to try to beat the best. Sting and The Undertaker both made appearances to correct the record. Neither of them were beaten in their matches over the last two weeks. They both have their sights firmly set on the World Championship but taking the Intercontinental Championship off Cole’s waist would be a nice consolation prize. Piper said that Vince McMahon gave him important news to break – Triple H and Adam Cole will wrestle Sting and The Undertaker in a tag team match at Money in the Bank with both the World Championship and the Intercontinental Championship on the line. If Triple H and Adam Cole win, they retain their respective titles, but if Sting and The Undertaker win, they become champions – but here’s the catch: whichever one of the two of them gets the winning pinfall or submission will be the new World Champion. Sting and The Undertaker were pleased with the announcement. Triple H and Adam Cole were upset until Heenan whispered something to both of them, then they both perked up, and said they couldn’t wait for Money in the Bank.
Bayley defeated Kairi Sane by pinfall at 8:43 to qualify for the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match. Moments before that, Bayley went for a running clothesline, but Sane ducked it, causing the referee to get it instead. Sane was then able to execute an Alabama slam and the In-Sane elbow drop, but with the referee knocked out, she couldn’t get the win. When Sane tried to revive the referee, Bayley hit her across the back with a chair and gave her the arm-trap headlock driver onto the chair. She got rid of the evidence and made the pin for the win.
Mean Gene Okerlund spoke to the Dudley Boyz, who accepted Bobby Heenan’s suggestion that they face the Hart Foundation next week for the next shot at FTR because now they weren’t just going after the WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championships but now they had a chance to take the Hart Foundation’s UWA Universal Tag Team Championship title shot from them. Mean Gene, you’re looking at the next triple-gold-plated Tag Team Champions of the Universe. Ah, testify!
“Macho Man” Randy Savage defeated Kevin Owens by pinfall at 13:52 after he hit his patented diving elbow drop on him. In the late minutes of the match, while they were brawling outside the ring, Owens put Savage through the play-by-play broadcaster’s table with a powerbomb. Savage returned to the ring just in time to beat a countout. Owens went for a stunner, but Savage pushed him into the ropes and hit him in the forehead with a running pointed elbow smash. As Owens tried to get up, Savage grabbed him and executed a piledriver, which was good enough to put him down long enough to climb the turnbuckle and hit his finisher.
Mean Gene Okerlund spoke to the Hart Foundation, who said it was funny that FTR couldn’t be here in Germany a day after winning the UWA Universal Championships in Philadelphia because The Anvil and The Hitman aren’t only here less than 24-hours after beating 19 other teams in Philadelphia, but they competed in a match and won. They shouldn’t have to wrestle Dudley Boyz next week to get at FTR, but they’ll do it because they are the best team in wrestling. PERIOD. The best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be!
Shayna Baszler defeated Becky Lynch by submission at 17:11 when she put Lynch in the Kirifuda Clutch and made her lose consciousness. Lynch made several attempts to execute the Manhandle Slam, but Baszler had an escape or a counter prepared every time she went for it. Lynch had to change tactics and go for the Dis-Arm-Her, which she was able to apply to Baszler, but the Queen of Spades was able to twist and turn enough to get a toe on the bottom rope. Baszler was a grinder. When she took control, she slowed the pace and worked holds to try to wear down her opponent. Big Time Becks showed enough resiliency not to give up and fight back. However, after all else failed, including all attempts to execute her finisher, Lynch went back to the well one more time, but Baszler countered with a crucifix. She didn’t hold it for a pin, however, letting Lynch get up so she could strike her in the face with a jumping knee lift and pull her in for a vertical suplex that she seamlessly transitioned into the Kirifuda Clutch. After the win, Baszler grabbed a mic and said, “Bianca Belair, I’m coming for you!” Belair’s music hit and the WWE Undisputed Women’s Champion came out on stage and said, “Congratulations! I’ll see you at Money in the Bank!”
