THE DUDLEY BOYZ vs. FTR (FEAR THE REVOLT) : Bubba Ray and D-Von executed the 3-D on Cash Wheeler about 10-minutes into the contest, but Dax Harwood was able to break up the pinfall to save the match for his team. Fighting continue and during a brawl outside the ring, Harwood rung D-Von’s bell by hitting him over the head with the ring bell. Bubba Ray was dumped over the barricade, and when Harwood and Wheeler returned to the ring, they gave D-Von the Shatter Machine to pick up the win in their WWE debut. (14:53) -- Winners: FTR (FEAR THE REVOLT)
THE UNDERTAKER vs. THE MIZ : The Miz got in over his head when he started a feud with the Deadman. His best friend John Morrison tried to help him throughout the match, but it wasn’t enough to make a difference, and in fact, all it got Johnny Drip-Drip was a Last Ride. The Miz was given a Tombstone piledriver and pinned for the victory. (8:47) -- Winner: The Undertaker
WWE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: RICKY STEAMBOAT {c} vs. “MILLION DOLLAR MAN” TED DIBIASE : Ricky Steamboat retained the WWE Intercontinental Championship when he lost to the “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase by disqualification. DiBiase’s business partners John Bradshaw Layfield interfered in the match by giving Steamboat a Clothesline From Wall Street when the referee’s back was turned. DiBiase made the cover and looked poised to get the win, but Rowdy Roddy Piper ran to the ring and jumped on DiBiase to cause the disqualification. JBL came back in to fight, but Sting descended from the rafters and chased DiBiase and JBL from the ring with his baseball bat. (13:06) -- Winner: “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase
BIANCA BELAIR, MICKIE JAMES & EMBER MOON vs. BAYLEY & THE BELLA TWINS : Bayley removed the bottom turnbuckle pads in her team’s corner without being seen. A few minutes later, she executed an arm-trap headlock driver on Bianca Belair into the exposed turnbuckle to knock her out and pin her for the win. (9:20) -- Winners: Bayley & The Bella Twins
LAST MAN STANDING MATCH: KEITH LEE vs. MARK HENRY : This long-standing feud between these two behemoths was set to finally come to an end in a battle that would leave only one man capable of getting up off the ground. They were fighting it out tooth and nail through the contest. Incredible feats of power and strength were met in kind. Keith Lee executed a Big Bang Catastrophe through the Spanish announce table, but the wasn’t enough to keep The World’s Strongest Man down. Likewise, Henry executed the World’s Strongest Slam on Lee through the English announce table, but that wasn’t enough to keep the Limitless one from getting to his feet before the count of ten. They fought up the entrance ramp and onto the entrance stage, where the biggest spot of the match saw Lee block an attempt to slam him off the side of the stage and instead execute a Spirit Bomb on Henry off the side of the stage through a table of electrical gear. Sparks flew and it appeared that no one would get up from that. Lee managed to crawl out of the wreckage. He was wobbly on his feet but stood long enough to be declared the winner. (18:11) -- Winner: Keith Lee
WWE WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: RHEA RIPLEY {c} vs. BETH PHOENIX : Rhea Ripley put Beth Phoenix in the Prism Trap in an effort to get her to tap out. Phoenix was too strong and managed to pull Ripley to the ropes to force a break. However, the move did plenty of damage and Phoenix could not keep up the fight for much longer. She tried but failed to lift Ripley off the mat, then got a discus lariat, a punishing big boot and the Riptide. Ripley covered her for the win. (17:25) -- Winner: Rhea Ripley
WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS MATCH : HARLEM HEAT {c} vs. WORLD’S GREATEST TAG TEAM : Harlem Heat defeated the World’s Greatest Tag Team to retain the WWE Tag Team Championships even after Charlie Haas hit Stevie Ray in the back of the head with his manager Jim Cornette’s tennis racket. That move let to Haas and Shelton Benjamin executing a bridging German suplex and superkick combo. Booker T made the save and about two minutes later, Booker T and Stevie Ray executed the Towering Inferno on Charlie Haas leading to Booker T pinning him for the win. (12:53) -- Winners: Harlem Heat
WWE UNIVERSAL CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: JOHN CENA vs. ROMAN REIGNS {c} : It was a Wrestlemania rematch of sorts – minus Hulk Hogan – when Roman Reigns made his first title defense since winning the Universal Championship at the Showcase of the Immortals. Cena was more than up to the challenge. He avoided more than one spear attempt and kicked out of pinfalls that followed various powerbombs and a Samoan drop off the turnbuckles. Reigns made sure that he wouldn’t fall victim to the Atittude Adjustment, always finding a way to break free from the fireman’s carry set up to the maneuver. He even once slid free and applied a rear naked choke, but Cena got out of that and managed to transition that hold into a STFU. Reigns survived over half a minute in the hold before flipping over into a pinning predicament to force Cena to break the hold. The match finally ended after Reigns tried to bring a chair into the ring. He got into a tussle over the chair with the referee. When Reigns was forced to give it up, he thumbed Cena in the eyes, ran to the ropes and executed the spear, after which he pinned him for the win. (21:27) -- Winner: Roman Reigns
LOSER LEAVES WWE MATCH: BRET “THE HITMAN” HART vs. CHRIS JERICHO : These two Canadian legends battled out in the biggest city in their home country for the right to remain in WWE. After feuding for half a year, the blood feud came to this. While they fought a highly technical contest early, they eventually brawled with impunity. The referee gave them leeway to fight around ringside and into the crowd. Both superstars were eventually bloodied. Bret Hart applied the Sharpshooter, but Chris Jericho refused to quit and forced a rope break. Chris Jericho, in turn, applied the Walls of Jericho, but Bret Hart refused to quit and forced a rope break. As the match wore on, they traded big moves and made multiple pinfall attempts, failing at each and every one of them. Jericho went for the Judas Effect, but Hart ducked it and took a page out of his brother’s book by executing a step-up enzuigiri kick. Jericho kicked out of the pinfall attempt. Hart went to the second rope and tried for a pointed elbow drop, but Jericho rolled out of the way. Jericho waited for Hart to get up and tried to attack with a Codebreaker. Hart managed counter by planting Jericho into the mat and immediately placing him in the Sharpshooter. Jericho tried to get to the ropes, but Hart pulled him back to the center of the ring when he just fingertips away. Jericho never gave up, instead losing consciousness in the hold. The referee called for the bell and declared Bret Hart the winner of the match. The Hitman celebrated with his family as the show went off the air. (42:17) -- Winner: Bret “The Hitman” Hart
