They then introduce ring announcer Christy Hemme & backstage announcer Charly Caruso. Ross & Thatcher immediately inform the fans on what happened last Sunday night in St. Louis at the NWA Resurrection Pay-Per-View.
They inform the viewers who missed the action last Sunday at the Resurrection PPV. Jim tells the fans that MUW World Champions Samoa Joe & Asuka successfully defended their titles against Nikita Koloff & Alexa Bliss. Les follows with the news that Bob Backlund beat Lou Thesz for the NWA World's Heavyweight Belt, 'Bruiser' Brody & Stan 'Lariat' Hansen won the World's Tag Team Belts by beating the Freebirds & Danny Hodge, after recovering a near-career ending injury a year ago, came back to beat Les Thornton to win the World's Junior Heavyweight Belt. Jim concludes with the Women's World Champion Gail Kim & World's Tag Team Champions Canada's Finest (Natayla Neidhart & Taylor Wilde) all successfully retained their titles.
