Edwards turns and Scott pokes Tully in the eyes. Inverted stunner. Scoop slam off the ropes for a cover and Arn does come in. This distracts Edwards and Wilder flies in with a leg drop from the top rope.
Dawson goes to pick Tully up, but gets suckered with a small package. They go rolling around the mat with each man getting several two counts. They finally break it up and as they stand Blanchard scores an arm drag. He gets an arm bar to ground Dawson and reaches out to tag Anderson. Arn with a series of stomps and a belly to belly suplex. Whip into the ropes and AA gets a super high angle spinebuster with extra stank. Woman gets up on the apron to distract Edwards. Wilder runs in, but Blanchard cuts him off with a flying clothesline. Ron Fuller is out with Stacy Keibler on the entrance stage.
SK: Ron, on the Superstar Saturday Special Edition, Andy Kaufman made a challenge to you for sole control of Continental Championship Wrestling. He admitted he couldn’t beat you in a wrestling match, but said he could defeat any woman you chose to face him at Kaufmania in March.
RF: Saying he could never beat me in a wrestling match is probably the smartest and most truthful thing Andy Kaufman has ever said. He’s also right about something else. CCW can no longer survive with the two of us feuding over it. Do you think, I chose the name Kaufmania? No, but there’s not much I can do about it with getting a gaggle of lawyers involved. While I would love to get Kaufman in the ring myself, I’ll gladly stand at ringside while a woman beats his brains in, cheering all the way.
Andy Kaufman comes out to a chorus of boos. Rhodes and Fuller turn to him.
AK: I’m glad that you accepted my challenge. I didn’t think you’d be man enough to send a woman to do the job that needs done, which is jobbing to me at Kaufmania. Tell me, is it Stacy Keibler here, you’ve chosen? I’d love to get her in a headlock.
Kaufman mimics a headlock and Stacy looks disgusted. The crowd stirs as out of the entrance way emerges…
ODB!!!
ODB spins Kaufman around, plants a kiss on him and then rubs his face into her massive cleavage. She holds up her flask to the fans and bellows. They yell back. She takes a big swig and exits.
RF: There’s your opponent for Kaufmania…ODB!
Kaufman is frantic and wild-eyed.
AK: That was a woman? That’s no woman…that’s a monster…that’s a crazed maniac…that can’t be a woman….it can’t be!
The camera does a crossfade on the panicked and confused face of Kaufman.

Mug Root Beer Truth or Consequences Match
Jake “The Snake” Roberts vs. “Universal Heartthrob” Austin Idol with Missy Hyatt
Referee: Joey Marella
If Idol wins, Roberts reveals the accomplice. If Roberts wins, Idol and Hyatt can never marry
Idol is disheveled with a scraggly beard. He paces the ring like a caged panther. Once the bell rings he charges at Roberts, who slyly sidesteps him. Idol nails the corner, but quickly turns around. Roberts works the boxing style punches and follows with a short-arm clothesline. He plays to Missy Hyatt on the floor while picking Idol up. Austin fires three shots to the gut and backdrops Roberts as he stands. He mounts Roberts and punches the crap out of him. Marella warns him. He shoves Marella and Idol just keeps punching away. Marella comes back and Idol shoves him again. More and more punches. Then out of the crowd emerges a man dressed all in black with a black hood on. He grabs Missy Hyatt from behind and tries to cover her mouth with his hand. Her partially muffled screams are still heard by Idol. He turns to see what is happening and jumps to the floor. The man backs up, keeping Hyatt between himself and Idol. Roberts comes off the apron with a double axe handle. He throws Idol into the outside ring post. Body slam on the steps. Marella hits the floor and warns Roberts. He shoves Marella away. Roberts pulls up the floor mats. He teases the DDT on the bare floor. The crowd roars as Tommy Rich, Idol’s stablemate, runs out and attacks the masked man from behind, freeing Hyatt from his clutches. Jake turns as Rich charges and backdrops him onto the floor. Idol charges and spears Jake. He rains down the punches again. The masked man pulls Roberts out and they go up the aisle to the entrance stage. Idol wants to chase, but Rich holds him back and Hyatt begs him to stay. Marella throws the match out with no other choice. The commentators ponder if the accomplice who broke up the wedding is the man in black. The camera cuts to Roberts with an evil smile on the stage.
WINNER: No contest at 4:45 (all stipulations void)

CCW Wild Card Title – Throw in the Towel Match
“Mr. Perfect” Curt Hennig with Ric Flair vs. Sycho Sid Vicious with Ole Anderson
The second at ringside has to throw in a towel and give up on their wrestler’s behalf.
Referee: Tommy Young
Lock up to start. Sid throws Hennig out of it into the near corner. Hennig bounces out like he’s got a super ball in the rear of his tights. Sid hip tosses him and that super ball bounces Hennig high off the mat. Sid slam Curt back down and works a nerve pinch with both hands. Ole yells at Ric to throw in the towel now. He just yawns. Sid goes for a powerslam, but Hennig slips off the back into a backstabber. He works a camel clutch. Flair encourages Ole to throw in the towel. He just yawns. Sid powers up with Hennig hanging off his back. Sid rams Hennig into the near corner to break. He sits dazed on the top turnbuckle. Superplex. Sid covers, but Young tells him there are no counts. He points to Flair holding the towel at ringside. Sid goes to the floor and yells at Flair, Anderson comes over to calm his man down. This allows Mr. Perfect to come off the apron with a double axe handle. He pitches Sid into the ring steps, then comes off the steps with a double stomp to smash Sid’s face into the stairs even more. Hennig rolls Sid back into the ring. He climbs the outside ring post, but takes too long and Sid slams him from off the top. Leg drops misses. Curt with a snap suplex and he goes to a Sharpshooter. Sid crawls and makes the ropes…but, yeah, there’s no rope breaks here. However, Sid manages to pull himself up by the ropes like the rungs of a ladder and Curt can’t keep the move on. Hennig kicks the legs as Sid stands. He upends Vicious and pulls him out into the center of the ring. He tries a figure four leglock, but Sid kicks him off. Hennig flies into the corner and posts himself. Sid pulls him out of the corner into a German suplex with bridge. Yeah, Sid, no pinfalls. Sid seems frustrated now.
He choke lifts Hennig, throws him into the near corner and charges for an avalanche, but Hennig gets a foot up. He skips up to the second turnbuckle and comes off into Sid’s outstretched arm for a choke slam. He hits a second choke slam and looks out at Flair. No reaction. He hits a third and there’s still no reaction. Sid then goes to the floor and gets in Flair’s face. Ric, with no emotion, drops and nails Sid in the nuts. Ole comes over and Flair backs off. Ole helps gets his man back into the ring. Hennig catches him coming in with an Overdrive and then a rolling neck snap. He gets the figure four leglock and cranks it on. Sid turns it over and works it from the other side. He fall out of it. Back up, Curt tries a suplex, but Sid reverses. Whip to the ropes and Hennig runs right into a massive bearhug. Sid runs into the corner smashing Hennig’s back, but still holds onto the bearhug. He does this several times.
On the outside, Sting repels from the ceiling dressed in all black with a black trench coat and white face paint. He’s carrying a black baseball bat. Sting smacks Flair with the bat and the towel in his hand goes flying. Sting goes back up into the rafters. Ole runs over and points at the towel laying in the ring, while showing his. Young sees it and calls for the bell. The commentators not only reminds the fans about the long history between Flair and Sting, but that Flair facilitated a 3-1 handicap match with his Elite Horsemen against Sting, at Kaufman’s request, a few weeks ago.
WINNER and NEW CCW Wild Card Champion: Sycho Sid Vicious and 16:17 via referee stoppage from thrown in towel.
Stacy Keibler is with Nick Aldis in the back.
SK: Nick Aldis, many people feel you don’t belong in the main event tonight for a shot at the MUW Men’s Title with CM Punk and Edge.
NA: Many people? Who are these people? You better not be one of these people.
SK: (changing the subject) I notice your voice is raspy, but you’re speaking again.
NA: I have my voice back and I will make it heard here tonight loud and clear. My time is now. And that’s one reason you won’t see Kamille at ringside tonight, because I don’t need my insurance policy for something I have in the bag. Edge and CM Punk are yesterday’s news clinging onto their spots. I’m on the rise and tonight I will rise up and take what is rightfully mine. First, a shot at the MUW Men’s Title and then that strap itself from Samoa Joe. By end of the evening every fan in this arena and watching at home will know why I AM the National Treasure.

He goes up top but, Eaton shakes the ropes so he crotches himself. Rick tags Scott. He runs in and straight to the top for a pop-up belly to belly suplex that shakes the ring. She yells to get Young’s attention as Eaton has gone back to the apron and tags out Steiner. Alabama Jam. Demolition makes the save on the pin and start clobbering Eaton. All hell breaks loose again. Demolition, Rick Steiner and Johnny Smith all wind up on the floor and Scott suicide dives out onto everybody. Lane comes in for the Double Goozle. Then he dives out onto everybody as they start to get up and a second Alabama Jam moves the belts.

Stacy Keibler is in the back with CM Punk
SK: CM Punk, later tonight you face Edge and Nick Aldis for a shot at Samoa Joe and the MUW Men’s Title at Kaufmania in March. Your thoughts?
CMP: This match should never be taking place. I won the Terrific Tussle fair and square. Ok, maybe I didn’t have a contract and I just showed up and wandered into the match, but showing up and taking sh*t that doesn’t belong to you is what America is all about. Now, I have to win what is rightfully mine. They stole from me what I already properly stole to start with. There is no honor among thieves. Nick Aldis and Edge are just going to be collateral damage on my march to manifest destiny. And in closing…America, f*ck yeah!

Christopher Daniels is hanging out in the back at the craft services table when Edge comes up.
CD: They’ve got bacong wrapped shrimp. It’s my first favorite food around my third favorite food.
Edge: That’s awesome, Ron Swanson…but we need to talk about my match later tonight.
CD: Your match, did you see our match on the Superstar Saturday Special Edition. We retained the six man tag belts over Kerry Von Erich and Strike Force. We went in there…
Edge: Yeah, yeah, I’m sure it was great. I’ll catch the Sports Channel America replay later on. You know we haven’t been on the same page lately and I just want to make sure that we are. I can’t have you costing me an MUW Men’s Title Shot.
CD: I would never do that.
Edge: Well, you owe me one from that botch up where you beat me on Superstar Saturday in that special challenge match.
CD: I apologize for that again, we just got our wires crossed…
Edge pokes Daniels in the chest.
Edge: Let’s just make sure that doesn’t happen tonight. Like I said, you owe me one. So, if there is an opportunity to pay me back in the main even tonight, I suggest you take it. I’ve been pretty chill up to this point, but make me angry. You wouldn’t like me when I’m angry.
CD: Alright, Bruce Banner, you got it.
Edge: David Banner.
CD: What?
Edge: That’s from the television show. He was David Banner there, because Batman’s name was also Bruce and they didn’t want…never mind. Just keep your eyes on the main event and make sure you’re there if the opportunity comes up.
Edge walks off and Daniels chomps down on another appetizer, but his eyes narrow as he watches Edge exit.

Ric Flair is with Stacy Keibler in the back.
SK: Ric, Sting appeared for the first time in more than two weeks and looked a lot different than last time we saw him. He attacked you and cost Curt Hennig the Wild Card Title.
RF: No matter what Sting looks like on the outside, he’s still the same snot-nosed surfer punk on the inside. Sting and I have fought from one corner of the globe to another over countless years. It’s like Batman and the Joker, Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader, Sherlock Holmes and Professor Moriarty. You can’t have one without the other and everyone knows the only way it can end is with both going out at the hands of the other. Well, that’s not how the Nature Boy is going out. I want Sting one last time at Kaufmania and I mean it. They say nothing is permanent in wrestling, but I am guaranteed to make this stick whether it’s him or me. But, I’ll be damned if it’s me. Loser leaves CCW. One fall to a finish and you, Sting, will be finished. Woo!
