International Pro Wrestling "Friday Night Lightning" on Paramount TV 11/06/2020 Manhattan, New York
The show opens with CM Punk making his way out with his newly won Heavyweight title. Punk gets a strong reaction from the crowd and gets on with what he wants to say.
Punk makes some rude comments about Seth Rollins, but says he gave him a hell of a fight. Now he looks forward to fighting and defending his championship against Jeff Hardy, who gets a pop. He says he and Hardy don't see eye to on lifestyle choices, but after years of facing him in the ring, he respects his heart.
Just then, three men in black hit the ring and attack Punk! They take him to the apron and the biggest one hoists Punk up into powerboat position while another is on the turnbuckle, and they deliver a Powerbomb/Double Stomp combo off the apron through the announcers table!
The three men make their way back to the back as the fans boo. Punk is carefully escorted out by medical staff as Joey Styles and Mick Foley wonder and discuss what this might mean for the IPW Heavyweight title.
Match One The Urban Legends (Eddie Kingston & Homicide) w/ Low Ki defeat The Southern Death Squad (Adam Page & Cameron Grimes) after Homicide hits Grimes with a Cop Killa for the pinfall.
Match Two Jay Lethal defeats MJF with the Lethal Combination to earn a pinfall.
Match Three Buddy Murphy defeats Will Ospeary and Bandido in a three way match after hitting a Murphys Law on Bandido to earn the pinfall.
Match Four Excelsior (Bobby Fish & Roderick Strong) defeats The Renaissance (Cesaro & Gulak) after hitting a Sick Kick/Legs weep combo on Cesaro to earn the pinfall.

All strong matches. I think Lethal vs. MJF is the one I'd like to see most.
Interested to see who the three mystery men are and how that ties in the upcoming Punk vs. Hardy match. I like how you're positioning Punk as a face, but true to his character. He disagrees with Hardy, but can respect his heart in the ring.
I know it's a typo, but the Powerboat should be the name of that powerbomb/double stomp combo.

Those are some excellent contemporary matchups. I'm sure Lethal and MJF would be really good. Fish & Strong vs. Cesaro & Gulak is a fantastic main event and the far more appealing tag match of the two. But the match of the night has got to be Murphy vs. Ospreay vs. Bandido. Those three would put on a fantastic show in the ring.

A new Shield? I'll have to inspect your roster and play detective. Interesting that they attack Punk, the man that originally recruited them way back when.
The triple-threat was definitely match of the night, and I'm glad Murphy won. Also glad MJF was on the card; it seems like you'll build him up slowly, befitting his young age and status, surrounded by so much talent.
