Cue the music! Cue the pyro! Another episode of RoH Wrestling is live on the air!
BURN IT DOOOOOOOWN!
Ring of Honor World Heavyweight Champion, Seth Rollins is out to kick of RoH Wrestling for the second week in a row, and once again is without the rest of Age of the Fall as he makes his way to the ring, looking slightly less unhappy then he was last week.
Rollins gloats over his victory against Christian last week before exclaiming that he never had any doubt he would walk out victorious before referring to Christian as nothing more than a warm up match. Rollins reminds the crowd of his “State of the Fall” address tonight and announcing he will deal with the AoF situation after he defends his title again tonight against another Team Angle member before voicing his disappointment that he was the only member of Age of the Fall that managed to get a win last week, before vowing that once again he’s going to retain his championship tonight by himself as he will not allow anyone from AoF stand at ringside with him until his State of the Fall Address.
Just then, the music of Kurt Angle hits the arena loudspeaker and out comes the Olympic Gold Medallist who is dressed to fight tonight. Rollins tells Angle he’s surprised that Kurt is his opponent tonight as he was sure Angle would make sure he was the last one to challenge Rollins so he could give himself the best odds at potentially winning, since that would be his only real chance to beat him.
Angle laughs at Seth’s attempt to get in to his head, before informing him that he is not his opponent tonight, and much like Edge did last week, Angle is only out here to play mind games of his own before bringing out Rollin’s true opponent. Angle then informs Rollins that although the thought of having the last shot at his title is tempting, Kurt decided to give that opportunity to Edge instead, meaning that if Rollins’ is able to win tonight, he’ll face Kurt Angle next week! Angle then tells Rollins that if he’s his opponent next week, and Edge has the final shot, by process of elimination he should be able to figure out who his opponent is tonight, before pointing at the ring. Just then, Ken Kennedy comes sliding in the ring from the crowd and as Rollins turn around, plants him with a Mic Check!
Kennedy stands over Seth Rollins and holds the RoH World Heavyweight Championship up in the air as Angle watches from the ramp, laughing at Rollins’ misfortune.

{While we wait for Rollins to get back to his feet and leave the ringside area, we get a video package recapping Big Show vs. Bobby Lashley or at least what was supposed to be a match between the two of them at SuperCard. It is announced that both men will be here live next week.}

Match #1: Singles Match
Austin Aries (w/ Scarlett Bordeaux) vs. Matt Cross
Building off the events of last week, the commentary team announce that Matt Cross had demanded this match in order to get some retribution on Aries for his attack. Scarlett has accompanied her boyfriend to ringside, but does not look interested in being there at any point during this match, which is not missed by the commentary team. Matt Cross looks good in this one as he was allowed to showcase some of his moveset in this brief match, but ultimately it’s Austin Aries who comes out victorious after locking Matt Cross in the Last Chancery and forcing him to tap out.
Winner: Austin Aries by submission @ 7:12.
Instead of celebrating his victory, Aries decides to lock Cross in the Last Chancery again as he turns his attention to his girlfriend for approval. Scarlett, looking very unimpressed with Aries’ attempt to show off, instead decides to turn and head up the ramp as Aries watches her leave in confusion. Aries shouts at Scarlett to come back, but she continues to head towards the back causing Aries to break the hold and chase up the ramp after her.

We head backstage to see RoH Television Champion Kevin Owens arriving at the building, but he’s not alone. As Owens steps out of the car, he’s joined by Steve Corino! The commentary team joyfully react to the apparent return of Corino who had been suspended the last 2 weeks for getting involved in Kevin Owen’s match with Mike Bennett at SuperCard. Owens and Corino share a brief conversation about Corino needing to speak to Eric Bischoff about reinstatement before telling Owens he’ll see him after his match tonight. Corino and Owens walks off in opposite directions as we fade out to our first commercial break of the evening.
*** COMMERCIAL***
We return from commercial to see Aries finally catching up with Scarlett backstage. He asks her why she walked out on him, to which Scarlett explained she was unhappy with Aries’ decision to attack Matt Cross after the bell calling it “classless” and “unnecessary”. Confused, Aries asks her why’s she’s been acting so different lately, but before she can respond, Eddie Edwards appears from off camera. Edwards doesn’t look happy and tells Aries there was no need to continue to attack Matt Cross after the match as it didn’t prove anything. Aries tells Edwards to mind his own business before they have a problem of their own, to which Edwards quickly responds back to inform Aries that they already have a problem and if Aries continues to act like a moron backstage and after his matches, it’s going to become a serious one. Edwards then walks off as Aries turns to Scarlett and asks “Can you believe the nerve of that guy?” Scarlett just scoff at Aries’ response and walks off as well, leaving Aries standing in the hallway fuming.

Match #2: Singles Match – 10-Minute Time Limit
Eric Young (w/ Alexander Wolfe & Killian Dain) vs. Kevin Owens (c)
Ring of Honor Television Championship
Eric Young makes his return to RoH after a long absence to take on Kevin Owens tonight. Young looks to be in significantly better shape than he was last time we saw him on tv, but it’s all for not as this match is still all Owens for the most part, with Eric Young playing hard to put away thanks to some help from Sanity as well. With the numbers game really beginning to play a factor, the referee decides to send both Dain and Alexander to the back which opens up this match a little as Owens has two less men to worry about. The ending come just shy of the 10-minute limit, as Owens puts Young away with the KO Stunner just seconds before the buzzer to retain.
Winner & STIIIILLLLL RoH Television Champion: Kevin Owens by pinfall @ 9:52.
Owens celebrates his victory in the ring, but it is quickly interrupted by Drew Gulak who makes his way out to the top of the stage with a microphone in his hand.
Gulak congratulates Owens on yet another Championship defense before getting down to business. Gulak states that as advocate for his best friend and colleague Mike Bennett, he is officially out here on his behalf to challenge Kevin Owens for another shot at the RoH Television Championship!
Owens takes a moment to think about Gulak’s challenge before responding with a “No!”. He informs Gulak that both he and Bennett have had their opportunities for this title while constantly stepping in front of the many talented members of the RoH roster to try again and again. Owens puts over names like Keith Lee, Sheamus & Matt Taven, as opponents who are more deserving, yet have not had an opportunity before bringing up Apollo Crews who is no longer on the RoH roster and saying he may still be here if he was given a fair shot. KO informs Bennett and Gulak that it’s time to let the rest of the roster shine before giving them another title opportunity. Disappointed at first, Gulak smiles before telling Owens “I knew you’d say that”.
A video appears on the jumbotron showing the backstage area where Mike Bennett is currently beating the hell out of a bloody Steve Corino who does not appear to be in the condition to fight back at all. Bennett smashes Corino in to the wall, before placing his head in a nearby equipment truck, threatening to slam the door shut on the head of Corino if Owens doesn’t give him what he wants. Not wanting to see his friend suffer any longer, Owens agrees to another match with Mike Bennett who after thanking KO, proceeds to slam the trunk door on the head of Corino anyways. Owens leaves the ring and rushes backstage as Mike Bennett leaves the scene.

We head backstage to Alicia Atout who is standing by with Age of the Fall co-founder and self-proclaimed “Co-Leader” Jimmy Jacobs. Alicia brings up the recent shortcomings of the faction and Seth Rollins’ comments that changes are going to need to be made following the loss at SuperCard before asking Jacobs what he thinks Rollins’ decision tonight is going to be. Jacobs confirms to Alicia that much like the rest of AoF, he has had no contact with Rollins since their match at SuperCard and he has no idea what he plans on doing tonight. Alicia brings up Jacobs’s quick elimination at SuperCard, and his miscommunication last week that cost Brodie Lee the Television Championship before alerting Jacobs to the backstage rumblings that he may be the weak link in the chain. Jacobs takes offense to this before admitting to some of his short comings, but follows up with a rather confident prediction that his spot in Age of the Fall may be the safest of everyone else’s. Jacobs ends the interview and turns to leave, but sees Brodie Lee standing there, not looking to impressed with Jacobs’ comments. No words are exchanged as Jacobs slowly walks passed Lee who follows him with his eyes. Lee then turns and shoots a look at Alicia which startles her before walking off himself as we head back to the ringside area.

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN…….ELIAS!
Elias sits on his stool in the middle of the ring strumming his guitar. He welcomes everyone to his Thank You concert before reminding the RoH audience that they are here tonight to thank him for removing Jeff Jarrett from Ring of Honor after beating him at SuperCard, which results in loud boos. Elias questions the crowd’s decision to boo, before saying the blame is solely on Jeff Jarett. Elias explains that Double J’s decision to constantly stick his nose in Elias’ business put him in the position that he is in now. Elias says if Jeff Jarrett stepped aside on his own year ago when he should have, he wouldn’t have needed to end his career for him before stating that he’s now officially done discussing the matter and it’s time to start the concert, as he begins to tune up his guitar. Elias strums the guitar, when suddenly….
I’M BACK, AND BETTER THAN EVER!
The music of RoH Owner Eric Bischoff blares through the arena speakers as he makes his way out to the stage. Bischoff apologizes to Elias for having to interrupt his concert, but due to time restraints on tonight’s broadcast and a scheduled flight out of the country in a few hours, he needed to get out here as soon as he could. Bischoff announces that he will be leaving the company for the next 6 months in order to work on a potential expansion deal in Japan. With that being said, Bischoff decided he needed to hire a person to look after things while he is away to make sure this company doesn’t fall apart. Bischoff says he interviews many potential suiters, but it was someone who contacted him that initially got the ball rolling. Bischoff says that person is a Hall of Fame calibre professional wrestler who is not going to take nonsense from anyone. This person is a RoH veteran and someone who Bischoff considers a deal friend. He then asks the audience to please welcome the new Ring of Honor General Manager…….
DOUBLE J, JEFF JARRETT!
Elias can’t believe it as Double J walks out from behind the curtain causing the crowd to go nuts! Jarrett shakes hands with Bischoff before turning his attention back to a shocked Elias who is still in the middle of the ring.
Jarrett is handed the microphone from Eric Bischoff who then heads backstage, presumably to catch his flight to Japan. Double J tell Elias he looks like he’s seen a ghost, before reminding Elias of the old saying “Be careful what you wish for”. Jarrett explains that once he had his wrestling contract terminated, he went backstage to ask his god buddy Eric for a job backstage which is when Bischoff offered him a newly created General Manager position instead. Jarrett then asks Elias to leave his ring, but before he can, Double J has a change of heart. The GM announces that instead he wants Elias to stay in the ring, because he’s going to have a match right now. Jarrett tells Elias that his opponent, or should he say “opponents” have been waiting for an opportunity to get their hands on him for a couple of weeks now.
The New Age Outlaws make their way out to the ring as The Roadie is now back to his Road Dogg persona fulltime and joined by his longtime tag team partner Billy Gunn as Mauro and Tazz confirm that the New Aged Outlaws are now in RoH on a fulltime basis and it looks like their debut match is going to be against Elias in a handicap match.
Match #3: Handicap Match
Elias vs. New Age Outlaws
Elias tried to get the jump on Road Dogg as he enters the ring, but Billy Gunn is able to save him, which ends up being the only offense Elias manages to get in this match. Nothing too special here as this was more or less just used for Elias to finally get his comeuppance for the attack on Road Dogg and for ending the career of his new boss, Jeff Jarrett. Road Dogg and Billy Gunn lay the boots to Elias before putting him away with the Spike Piledriver for the easy victory, much to the delight of the RoH crowd.
Winner: New Age Outlaws by pinfall @ 2:37.

We see Seth Rollins walking backstage. He defends his RoH World Heavyweight Championship against Mr. Kennedy in our Main Event, NEXT!
***COMMERCIAL***
Main Event: Singles Match
Ken Kennedy vs. Seth Rollins (c)
Ring of Honor World Heavyweight Championship Match
Another week, another amazing Main Event performance by Seth Rollins and his opponent. The narrative for this match was Kennedy finally getting a chance to get his hands on Seth Rollins after initially sticking up for him before he was revealed as the leader of Age of the Fall and it was the perfect build for this match. Both Kennedy and Rollins get their fair share of offense in on each other as the two men go almost 30 full minutes putting on a PPV quality match with enough near falls to give even the most casual wrestling fan anxiety. Kennedy lands the first big move around the 12-minute mark as he goes to the top rope, but Rollins gets up quickly and tries to cut Kennedy off before he can dive off the ropes. Rollins hops up on the turnbuckle to try and superplex Kennedy, but Kennedy manages to take control of the grapple and nails Rollins with the Green Bay Plunge!
Rollins though, still having his wits is able to roll out of the ring as soon as Kennedy executes the move, not allowing him an opportunity to try and cover the Champion, and give himself a moment to heal, much to the anger of the crowd who are 100% behind the challenger. The battle spills to the outside as Kennedy is hot after his opponent, and the two starts brawl briefly around the ringside area before getting back in to the ring. After Kennedy works over Rollins a little more, it’s the Champions turn to take over the match as he quickly reverses a hammerlock in to a Revolution-Knee, but Kennedy is able to kick up at 2!
Both men are still down and exhausted after the pinfall attempt that the referee begins a standing 10-count, but both men are able to get to their feet before the referee can reach 10. The pace slows down slightly with both men now running close to empty, but the energy from the crowd stays at a high. Kennedy ducks a clothesline from Rollins and goes for a standing Green Bay Plunge, but Rollins rolls off Kennedy’s back and catches his with an Avada Kedavra.
Seeing his opponent down and exhausted, Rollins sets up in the corner for the stomp and waits for Kennedy to begin to stir. Once Kennedy is in position, Rollins charges at him for the Stomp, but Kennedy using the last bit of energy he has left, springs to life and catches Rollins with a Mic Check instead!
The crowd erupts as Kennedy quickly covers the Champion and the referee begins the count.
1……………………
2………………………………………
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Rollins just manages to get his foot on the rope at the absolute last second, saving his Championship just in the nick of time! The crowd lets both men know how much they appreciate this match as a “This is Awesome” chant rumbles through the crowd. Eventually there needs to be a winner though, and that winner comes just passed the 27-minute mark when Rollins, who is being worked on in the corner, manages to sneak a low kick to the groin of Kennedy and nails him with The Stomp for the 3 count, retaining his Championship in an incredible match!
WINNER & STIIILLLL RoH WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION: Seth Rollins by pinfall @ 27:45.
Rollins hold his Championship high above his head, but is quickly back to business as he demands a microphone from Justin Roberts at ringside. Once getting the mic, he asks for his music to be cut and calls out his stablemates from Age of the Fall as it’s time for his State of the Fall Address to take place to close out tonight’s show.
Jacobs, Mercury and Lee all head down to the ring. Jacobs is quick to try and hug his longtime friend to congratulate him for retaining his Championship, but Rollins is not interested in having his ass kissed.
Rollins points out that for the second straight week he’s come out here alone and he’s successfully defended his RoH World Heavyweight Championship. Rollins questions why he should keep Age of the Fall around if he’s doesn’t need their help to keep the title around his waist. He then brings up Jimmy Jacob’s embarrassing elimination at SuperCard and questions why Jacobs can call himself a co-leader of the faction when the only precedent he’s setting is how to lose. He brings up Jacobs’ interference last week that actually ended up costing Brodie Lee the RoH Television Championship against Kevin Owens, before stating that Jimmy Jacobs is letting this team down each and every week which Rollins has had enough of. Rollins tells Jacobs that when they met to discuss an Age of the Fall reunion, he thought it would be just like the old days, but it isn’t. Rollins mentions how Jacobs used to be lethal with that spike he carries around, but he hasn’t seen him use it in months! Rollins tells Jacobs that Age of the Fall needs a shake up, and that’s what is going to happen right now. Jacobs drops to his knees, pleading with Rollins not to remove him from Age of the Fall when suddenly…..
The music of Erick Rowan plays from the arena and out he comes, holding a chain and walking slowly to the ring as the Jacobs, Mercury and Lee look on in shock. Rowan steps in to the ring and slowly walks passed Jacobs, taking a second to exchange a long glance with Brodie Lee before standing beside the RoH World Heavyweight Champion. Rollins tells Jacobs to get up and hug him. He tells Jacobs that he would never turn his back on his brother because there is no Age of the Fall with him. Rollins informs the men that he has personally recruited Erick Rowan to Age of the Fall and that they will now be getting back on track thanks to his addition. Rollins asks Jacobs to hand him the spike and motions to the sky as a hook comes down slowly from the raftors. Rollins puts his hand on Jacobs’ shoulder and vows that Age of the Fall will go back to their roots moving forward, but “We need a Sacrifice.” Just then, Rollins turns and spikes Joey Mercury in the face, causing him to drop to the ground screaming in pain as Jacobs looks on in shock. That shock soon turns to laughter as Jacobs and Rollins motion for Brodie Lee to attack. Lee shrugs his shoulders as Rowan picks up Mercury and sends him over to Lee for a Discuss Lariat.
Rollins and Jacobs then proceed to lay a beating down on Mercury, causing the puncture wound from the spike to open up as Mercury is now bleeding profusely. Smiling sadistically, Rollin wipes some of Mercury’s blood on his chest before picking him up and sending him over to Rowan who send him crashing back down on the mat with the Iron Claw Slam.
On Rollins’ command, he tosses the chain back over to Rowan and he and Brodie Lee tie it around the legs of Joey Mercury, before putting the other end of the chain through the hook, which slowly starts to raise back up towards the rafters, hanging Mercury upside down by his ankles as Mauro Ranallo mentions this act was a staple of the original Age of the Fall during their original reign in RoH over 10 years ago.
The RoH crowd is in stunned silence as RoH Wrestling comes to a shocking end with Seth Rollins standing alongside Age of the Fall’s remaining members, and their newest member Erick Rowan with a bloody Joey Mercury hangs high above them. We slowly fade out to the end credits with only small gasps heard from the crowd.
***END OF THE SHOW***
