Cue the music! Cue the pyro! Another episode of RoH Wrestling is live on the air!
BURN IT DOOOWWWNN!
We start off tonight’s episode with an appearance from Age of the Fall, lead to the ring by RoH World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins and Jimmy Jacobs.
Rollins voices his displeasure of both Eric Bischoff’s SuperCard match announcement, and the stipulations of Rollins possibly having to defend his RoH Championship against 4 different opponents in 4 straight weeks if somehow Age of the Fall aren’t able to walk away with a victory next week. Rollins assures his faction mates that he has the upmost faith in all of them, but questions whether Kurt Angle and Ken Kennedy will plan to cheat in order to guarantee them both another shot at Rollins’ title.
Just then, the music of Kurt Angle plays as he makes his way out to the stage. Angle laughs off Rollins’ attempt to mask his insecurities by painting false narratives about Kurt Angle trying to cheat for another shot at the RoH World Championship. Angle says his team is going to walk away victorious, and he guarantees that Rollins won’t be RoH Champion by the end of March. Angered, Rollins tell Angle that he’ll beat him any day of the week, before challenging Kurt Angle to fight him right now. Not one to back away from a fight, Angle begins to walk down towards the ring where he is clearly out numbered 4 -1, before stopping on the ramp and telling Rollins that he’s not going to let Age of the Fall take an opportunity to weaken him before next week. Angle tells Rollins if he wants a match, he can pick any of his “cronies” and take him on later tonight in a tag team match with him and Ken Kennedy. Rollins quickly accepts, before promising that after tonight, Angle and Kennedy won’t make it to their match next week.

Match #1: Singles Match – 10-Minute Time Limit
Kevin Owens (c) vs. Ace Austin
RoH Television Championship Match
Owens is angry after what happened to him backstage last week and he takes it out on Ace Austin who is making his RoH return as KO’s opponent. Austin could not have picked a worse time to make his first RoH appearance since RoH’s debut episode, as a highly motivated and completely enraged Kevin Owen is able to quickly dispose of his challenger, finishing him off with a KO Stunner to retain his title just over the 7 minute mark.
Winner & STIIIILLLLL RoH Television Champion: Kevin Owens by pinfall @ 7:12.
No celebration for KO after his title defense, as he grabs Ace Austin and tosses him out of the ring before demanding to be handed a microphone from the ringside area. The commentary team mention that Owens is clearly still fuming from last week as he’d never yell at his old friend Steve Corino like that for any other reason.
Owens grabs the microphone and yells to Mike Bennett and Drew Gulak to get down to the ring right now so he can kick both of their asses for attacking him last week. As expected, there is no response from wither Gulak or Bennett which causes the fans to boo in frustration, but Owens just laughs it off. KO tells the crowd he knew they wouldn’t show up tonight when he’s actually expecting them, but informing everyone that KO spoke to Eric Bischoff this afternoon and although he was unable to get Bischoff to make next week’s match a no DQ match, he was able to do one other thing. Kevin Owens announces that next week’s match between him and Mike Bennett will no longer take place under the regular 10-minute time limit rule. Owens vows to take his time to not only get his revenge on Mike Bennett, but to beat the hell out of Drew Gulak as well, before slamming the microphone on the mat and storming off.

We head backstage to Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin talking to each other in the hallway, when all 4 members of Age of the Fall suddenly show up. Before anything can be said, Benjamin assures Rollins that they are not the other two members of Kurt Angle and Ken Kennedy’s team for next week’s match, before having his statement backed up by Charlie Haas who informs AoF that after what The Kingdom did to them last time, they aren’t interested in having Kurt Angle’s back anymore. When Rollins questions whether they have any information on who the other two opponents might be, Benjamin simply tells them they haven’t spoken to Angle in weeks. Rollins thanks the two men for their honesty before AoF walk away. Haas and Benjamin go back to their original conversation, before Brodie Lee and Joey Mercury come rushing back in to view and jump Haas and Benjamin. The two men proceed to beat down the World’s Greatest Tag Team as Jimmy Jacobs joins the assault as well. With Haas and Benjamin now down on the floor, Rollins walks back in to view of the camera and says “Just in case.” Before walking off with the rest of AoF as we fade to our first commercial break of the evening.

We return from commercial break to welcome the first RoH Tag Team Champions to the ring. The crowd showers the Motor City Machine Guns in cheers and “You Deserve It” chants as Sabin and Shelley soak it all in. Sabin thanks the crowd and tries to settle them down before telling everyone that he’s been chasing gold since he came back to Ring of Honor and words can’t describe how happy he is to have finally gotten his hands on some alongside his best friend Alex Shelley. Shelley appears to want to address the crowd as well, but before he can, the music of Jay Lethal plays from the arena speakers as both Lethal and Michael Elgin appear from behind the curtain and make their way down to the ring.
Lethal first congratulates that champions on their victory, and promises no hard feelings for defeating them last week before telling both Sabin and Shelley they have earned their respect. Lethal then mentions that he and Michael Elgin would be out here as the Tag Team Champions if it wasn’t for the third team in the match who he believes didn’t even deserve to be there, to which both Sabin and Shelley agree. Lethal then mentions that MCMG are scheduled to make their first title defense next week at SuperCard, but have not had their opponents announced yet, to which Lethal suggests that he and Elgin get another shot at the tag titles.
The crowd seems to agree, but All Night Express do not as Kenny King and Rhett Titus make their way out to the stage. King apologies for interrupting Jay Lethal’s ass kissing of the new Champions, before saying that he believes they had their shot, and now it should be someone else’s turn. King mentions that Lethal and Elgin are all about bringing Honor back to RoH, yet here they are holding the rest of the tag team division down so that they can get another shot at being champions. King tells Lethal that the honorable thing to do would be to step aside and let a real team challenge for the titles next week, before stating that ANX should be the team to face Sabin and Shelley at SuperCard.
Sabin looks at Shelley and says he’s not trying to get involved in this as they’d be happy to take on either team next week, before proposing that since both ANX and Unchained Honor are already in the ring, why don’t they just wrestle each other right now to see who gets to face them next week at SuperCard? The crowd agrees with that decision, and so do the teams. With no apparently interjection from Eric Bischoff, a referee comes running down to the ring to make this match official as Sabin and Shelley join the commentary team for this match.
Match #2: Tag Team Match
Unchained Honor (Michael Elgin & Jay Lethal) vs. All Night Express
Winners Face Motor City Machine Guns for the Tag Titles Next Week at SuperCard
A great match between 4 long time RoH veterans as Elgin and Lethal once again show their ability to work together against another established tag team. ANX look good in this match, especially Kenny King who just shines with an opponent like Jay Lethal, but it is Michael Elgin’s sheer size and power that neither member of ANX has the ability to get passed. Elgin puts Rhett Titus away with an Elgin Bomb for the victory as the Motor City Machine Guns applaud their next opponents.
Winners: Unchained Honor by pinfall @ 14:35.

{We see a video package showing Big Show’s journey back to RoH after the vicious assault from Bobby Lashley on the debut episode of RoH Wrestling. Big Show narrates the video, describing the pain and anguish he went through when the doctors told him he may never wrestle again as we see clips of Big Show rehabilitation process. Big Show promises that at SuperCard he’s going to do more than just break Bobby Lashley’s jaw, he’s going to break him in half!}

“LADIES AND GENTLEMEN……….
ELIAS!”
We head to the ring where Elias is sitting on a stool with his guitar in his hands. Elias brings up his dismay with being stuck in the cold Toronto winters each and every week before taking shots at the accents of Canadians and the state of the Toronto Maple Leafs which draws the loudest reaction from the crowd. Elias tells the RoH audience that after 4 long and painful months here in Toronto he finally has the perfect song written to sum up his experience here and he’s ready to play it for you, but before he does, he’s got a very special guest he’d like to bring out to assist him.
The music of Jeff Jarrett plays through the arena speaker, but instead of Double J it’s The Roadie who appears from behind the stage to a thunderous ovation from a surprised RoH crowd. As The Roadie makes his way down to the ring, the commentary team explain that he was allowed to appear tonight as a favour from WWF who had Orange Cassidy appear at one of their PPVs. The Roadie gets in the ring and has a few friendly words with Elias before beginning to sound check all of Elias’ equipment for him. Once everything is deemed satisfactory to The Roadie, he and Elias do a countdown to start the song, but instead of strumming his guitar, Elias instead breaks it over the back of The Roadie to a monstrous boo from the crowd.
Match #3: Singles Match
Elias vs. The Roadie
This impromptu match begins with Elias standing over the downed Roadie and yelling for a referee to get down to the ring. The referee rings the bell to signify the start of a match as the RoH audience shows their distain. Elias picks up The Roadie and works him over in the corner before dragging him to the centre of the ring and hitting the Drift Away for the 3 count.
Winner: Elias by pinfall @ 1:24.
After the match is over, Elias picks up The Roadie and hits him with another Drift Away much as the crowd continues to boo. Elias stands over The Roadie, soaking in the jeers from the crowd before pulling him back up to his feet and setting him up for a third Drift Away, but before he can execute the move, Jeff Jarrett comes charging down to the ring and goes after Elias, who retreats up the ramp while Jarrett checks on his old friend.
Enraged, Double J grabs a microphone and tells Elias that enough is enough before challenging him to match at SuperCard next week in order to end this once and for all. Elias tells Jarrett that he accepts his challenge, but on one condition. Elias agrees that this needs to end, but the only way it can is if one of them leaves RoH for good. Elias tells Jarrett that he’ll face him next week at SuperCard, but the loser of the match has to leave RoH. Double J doesn’t even take a second to think about Elias challenge before telling him he accepts as we fade out to our final commercial break of the evening.

Main Event: Tag Team Match
Age of the Fall (Rollins & Jacobs) w/ Brodie Lee & Joey Mercury vs. Kurt Angle & Ken Kennedy
Age of the Fall with a real throwback tonight as Seth Rollins chooses his co-founder Jimmy Jacobs to be his partner tonight as the commentary team remind those at home that Rollins and Jacobs were once RoH Tag Team Champions during the original run of AoF 10 years ago. Kennedy is still out for blood in this match as he makes a bee line for Seth Rollins as soon as the bell rings, but Rollins is not interested in wrestling and tags in Jacobs immediately. A very entertaining Main Event sees Jacobs act as the whipping boy for AoF while Seth Rollins only chooses to get involved when his team has the upper hand. Kennedy’s constant distractions from Brodie Lee and Joey Mercury really cost the momentum for him and Angle in this one, as they have to rely on Angle’s hyper focus in order to do much in the ring. The end of this match comes with Rollins tagged in, and Angle the legal man as well. Rollins tries to tag out to Jacobs, but Kennedy has knocked him off the apron. Angle goes for an Angle Slam on Rollins, but as soon as he hits it, Brodie Lee and Joey Mercury charge in to the ring and attack both Angle and Kennedy, causing the referee to call for the bell.
Winners: Kurt Angle & Ken Kennedy by DQ @ 21:54.
Lee and Mercury pounce on Angle and Kennedy as Jacobs and Rollins soon join the assault as well. The 4 members of Age of the Fall begin to beat down the defenseless Angle and Kennedy. Jacobs rolls out of the ring and grabs a black bag that had been left by the steel steps, pulling out his signature spike before rolling back in the ring with it. Lee and Rollins hold Angle in place and Mercury continues to work over Kennedy in the corner. Jacobs gets ready to jam the spike in to Angle’s forehead when suddenly…..
Christian is here! He comes running down to the ring as Rollin and Jacobs both let go of Angle, backing up to align themselves with Jimmy Jacobs as Joey Mercury soon joins them. The 4 members of AoF stare at Christian who helps slowly Kurt Angle back up to his feet, before going to help up Kennedy as well. Though tired and hurt, Angle and Kennedy both stand beside Christian appearing ready to try and take on Age of the Fall, which causes Rollins to laugh as AoF still has a very clear advantage if a fight were to break out right now. Christian looks at Angle, then over to Kennedy before all 3 men turn their attention to the stage......
YOU THINK YOU KNOW ME!
IT’S EDGE! EDGE IS HERE! The Rated R Superstar appears on stage to a thunderous roar from the RoH crowd as he makes his way in to the ring with an evil smile on his face. Rollins is beside himself in disbelief as Edge gets in to the ring. Joey Mercury comes charging at Edge but very quickly eats a Spear for his efforts!
Still in shock, Rollins quickly leaves the ring, leaving Brodie Lee and Jimmy Jacobs alone in the ring with Angle, Kennedy, Christian and Edge, but Lee and Jacobs soon decide to remove themselves from the ring as well, not wanting to put themselves in a situation where they are the outnumbered team. The 3 remaining members of Age of the Fall begin backing their way up the ramp as Joey Mercury now slowly begins to get to his feet. Realizing he is all alone in the ring with his 4 opponents next week, Mercury tries to retreat, but is grabbed by Christian who hits the Killswitch before tossing Mercury out of the ring and at the feet of his fellow Age of the Fall stablemates.
RoH Wrestling comes to a close with Team Angle standing tall in the ring while the announce team hype next week’s SuperCard and question whether or not things have finally swayed in Kurt Angle’s favour.
