Chris Jericho enters Antonio Cueto’s office. He tells Cueto that it is now 3-weeks into the new lucha season and he is tired of not having his calls or e-mails returned. He reminds Cueto of how he was supposed to have a title match in the main event of Ultima Lucha Tres until it was stolen from him and that the only way to make this right is for him to finally get his title match. Since he’s here now, he tells Cueto to get that chump Prince Puma on the phone and order that ass clown to come down to the Temple to defend his title against “the Greatest of All-Time – me, Chris Jericho!” Antonio insincerely tells him that he must have forgot to call him back. He tells him that he has bad news for him. He was going to give him a match against Prince Puma tonight, but last week, John Cena turned in the Gift of the Gods for a title match, so now that is tonight’s main event. Jericho is pissed. He tells Cueto that he wants his title match against whoever wins next week then gets up and storms out of the office as Cueto tries to tell him that next week’s show is already fully booked.

SANTANA & ORTIZ vs. THE AUTHORS OF PAIN
The first match of the show saw the debut of four new luchadores to the Temple. On one side, there was Rezar and Akam of the Authors of Pain. They were accompanied to the ring by Truth Martini and Braun Strowman. On the other side of the ring was Santana and Ortiz. The match went nearly ten minutes. Santana and Ortiz put up a good fight and there were moments in which you could believe that they might pull off the victory. However, the power of Rezar and Akam was such that it only took a single big move to turn the match in their favour. In the end, they would give a combination side Russian legsweep and lariat combo known as the Last Chapter to both Santana and Ortiz before making stereo pins to win the match.
WINNERS : The Authors of Pain

Mercedes Martinez vs. Shayna Baszler
Mercedes Martinez vs. Shayna Baszler
The opening couple minutes of this contest went back-and-forth. The advantage went in Baszler’s favour when Martinez went for a running big boot in the corner. Baszler moved out of the corner just in the nick of time, leaving Martinez’s leg hung up on the top rope. Then, Baszler grabbed her by the hair and pulled her into a neckbreaker. From there, Baszler picked apart at Martinez’s limbs. An attempt to execute the Kirifuda Driver was escaped and countered into a German suplex by Martinez, who then executed her Three Amigas – an homage to Eddie Guerrero – and then applied a butterfly lock. Baszler got a rope break. When Martinez put her on the top rope to go for a superplex, Baszler fought back with headbutts, elbows, and palm strikes before executed a gutwrench powerbomb off the top rope. When that wasn’t enough to win the match by pinfall, Baszler applied a rear naked choke to force Martinez to submit.
WINNER : Shayna Baszler

Awesome Kong vs. King Cuerno vs. Mustafa Ali vs. PJ Black
These four luchadores were all making their first appearances of the season in this fatal fourway match. Awesome Kong held the weight and power advantage over her three opponents, who were all far more adept at the high flying aspects of lucha libre. Kong exercised her power to her advantage, with big impact maneuvers executed on everyone, including a snap powerslam on Ali, a spinebuster on Cuerno, and a Samoan drop on Black. Plus, she gave everyone big chokeslams. It took Ali, Cuerno and Black to collaborate to knock Kong out of the ring and out to the floor. After they did, they turned their attentions to each other and the pace picked up dramatically. Cuerno had the first opportunity to go for a pinfall but chose not to in favour of taking Kong off her feet with a Arrow from the Depths of Hell. After doing that, Cuerno was taken down with a topé con hilo by Black, who was then taken off his feet with a tope suicida transitioned into a tornado DDT by Ali. That got a huge pop from the Believers. Ali immediately sent Black into the ring and climbed the turnbuckle to give him an imploding 450-splash, but he was shoved off the turnbuckle by Kong, who went to the top turnbuckle and gave him an Awesome Splash. Her pinfall attempt was broken up by Cuerno who used his wits to get Kong to chase and then drop to the mat while pulling down the top rope and sending Kong flailing over the ropes and out to the floor again. This gave Cuerno the opportunity to strike Black with a front dropkick that sent him crashing into the turnbuckles, then running in for a double-knee smash to the face, before bringing him out of the corner and giving him the Thrill of the Hunt to collect the win.
WINNER : King Cuerno

LUCHA UNDERGROUND CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Prince Puma vs. John Cena
LUCHA UNDERGROUND CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Prince Puma vs. John Cena
Prince Puma’s second title defense put him up against arguably the toughest opponent he will ever face during his Mash-Up Wrestling career: the most prolific sports entertainer of the 21st century, John Cena. Known for his Hustle, Loyalty and Respect, Cena is also known for never giving up, which is a quality you don’t want to have in an opponent. All of which amounted to the improbable case where the defending Lucha Underground Champion could rightly be viewed as the underdog in this match. With that in mind, a successful title defense would surely silence the champion’s naysayers.
The Believers were on their feet even before the opening bell rang. Melissa Santos gave the challenger and the champion special introductions, giving this match a big fight feel. It was shaping up to be a lucha libre classic. As it surpassed the 20-minute mark, each luchador had several close pinfall victories, and even a couple of attempts at submission wins with Cena going for the STF and Prince Puma attempting to submit Cena with a figure-four leglock. They were pulling out all the stops to get the win. Puma attempted to win the match using a frankensteiner followed by a running shooting star press, a bridging northern lights suplex transitioned into a deadlift vertical suplex, a corkscrew 450-splash, a spinning Michinoku Driver II, and a tombstone piledriver. Cena attempted to win the match using a diving leg drop bulldog, a hurricanrana, the rarely seen emerald flowsion, a last ride powerbomb and a frog splash. None of these moves worked, not even the ones the high impact finishers they borrowed from the playbooks of other legendary luchadores.
As the match hit the 25-minute mark, they were kicking out of each other’s respective finishers, with Puma kicking out of the Attitude Adjustment, and about a minute later, Cena kicking out of the 630-degree senton bomb. Puma’s next effort to get the win was to try executing his own Attitude Adjustment on Cena, but he got a shoulder up just in the nick of time. When Puma went up top to attempt another 630-senton bomb, Cena rolled out of the way. Puma did a somersault roll back to his feet and charged at Cena, who gave him a spin-out powerbomb. This move was normally the precursor to the Five Knuckle Shuffle. However, on this occasion, Cena signalled with his hands that he was going to go for a spin. He went outside the ropes and started climbing the turnbuckle. It looked like he would be attempting a 630-degree senton bomb.
But once he reached the top rope, he looked around and saw the Worldwide Underground running down the Temple stairs, with Johnny Mundo leading the charge with a steel chair in hand. As a result, Cena chose to leap to the outside and take Mundo down with a diving crossbody! Hulk Hogan and Roman Reigns quickly emerged from the shadows to attack PJ Black and Taya Valkyrie, so Rey Mysterio Jr. came out to make the save, as like Mundo, he was a victim of the brutal attack by the Pinnacle of Sports Entertainment last week. As they brawled on the floor, Puma took the entire pile down with a running over-the-top-rope corkscrew moonsault plancha!
After recovering, Puma picked up Cena and rolled him into the ring. As he tried lifting himself onto the ring apron, he was hit from behind with a steel chair by Roman Reigns, who then took him over to the hardwood announce table and gave him a powerbomb onto it. As the referee was trying to get Reigns to leave, Cena was attacked from behind by Pentagon DARK, who gave him a couple of cracks to the back with a chair, followed by a package piledriver onto the chair. Then, he put Cena into a grounded hammerlock and gave him an inverted armbreaker – The Sacrifice! Cena was writhing in pain as he had just had his arm snapped. Neither Hogan nor Reigns could come to his aid as they were overwhelmed by Mysterio, Mundo, Black and Valkyrie. This left him vulnerable to Puma, who almost had nothing left in the tank, but came back into the ring. With one arm, Cena managed to lift Puma onto his shoulders and attempted an Attitude Adjustment. However, Puma flipped through, landed on his feet, and staggered Cena with a Pele kick, before giving him an Attitude Adjustment! Then, he went to the top rope and landed the 630-degree senton bomb. 1…..2…..3!
WINNER : Prince Puma

We descend upon the Polanco section of Mexico City. This is an affluent district dotted with mansions, embassies, upscale shops and expensive fine dining. A taxi comes down a quiet street and pulls to a stop. Dario Cueto, Paul London, and El Bunny get out. They stand in front of a mansion that is mostly obscured from the street by 12-foot cement walls and a large metal gate. London tells Dario that this is the place. Dario presses the button on the intercom. A voice asks who is there. He says his name. The voice responds to enter, and he is buzzed in. The gates open. He takes a couple steps in, then turns around and asks if London and El Bunny are coming. They say that this is the end of their journey together. London tells Dario that his future awaits him in there, but that his own future is waiting for him elsewhere. Dario pleads for London to come with him. London says that he has nothing to fear and that inside that mansion is the key to his redemption. The gate begins to close. Dario steps back towards the street but London urges him to stay, saying that if he leaves now, he’ll never make it back to his Temple in one piece. Dario stops and just before the gate closes, he thanks them both. Once the gate is shut, he turns around and looks at the large, dark mansion and begins up the walkway towards the front entrance.
