INTERNATIONAL LADIES PRO-WRESTLING
"DREAM QUEST"
TOKYO, JAPAN
The show begins running down some of the bigger matches and grudges we can look forward to. We get the awesome first time meeting between Akira Hokuto and Megumi Kudo, which promises to be intense. We also have the year long running International champion Mayu Iwatani perhaps making her biggest defense to date as takes on the GOAT MANAMI Toyota.
Let us begin "Dream Quest"!
TAG TEAM MATCH
Ayako Hamada & Sonoko Kato vs. Emi Sakura & Nanae Takahashi
Sakura and Nanae were able to get the fans behind them in this quick opener. Hamada and Kato would take control, but Sakura would manage to reverse a Kato Dragon Suplex attempt into a roll up for the flash three count!
WINNERS: EMI SAKURA & NANAE TAKAHASHI
SINGLES MATCH
Jaguar Yokota vs. Kyoko Inoue
Yokota is very fast and fierce, but the power and tenacity of the charismatic Inoue proved to be a lot for her to handle. Inoue would reverse a Double Underhook Pile-driver attempt with an Alabama Slam, and deliver a Lariat for the victory!
WINNER: KYOKO INOUE
TAG TEAM MATCH
Devil Masami & Mayumi Ozaki vs. Dynamite Kansai & Yumiko Hotta
This was a very wild match, as Masami and Ozaki had no intentions of fighting a clean fight in the ring against two very good shoot style stars. Kansai would end up bleeding quite a bit, but was able to break away from a Powerbomb attempt by Masami, delivering a high kick and then a Splash Mountain Bomb for the pinfall!
WINNERS: DYNAMITE KANSAI & YUMIKO HOTTA
TAG TEAM MATCH
Hiroyo Matsumoto & Mariko Yoshida vs. Meiko Satomura & Yoshiko Tamura
Yoshida and Tamura have been embroiled in a feud for years now, but have yet to have a proper blow off. Matsumoto is a great hand in the ring with big charisma, while Satomura may be the best wrestler on the planet today. Still, the story here was Yoshida trying to get a win over Tamura, but her attempt at a pin following the Air Raid Crash was broken up by Satomura. Satomura would deliver the Scorpio Rising Axe Kick to get the win over Yoshida!
WINNERS: MEIKO SATOMURA & YOSHIKO TAMURA
SINGLES MATCH
Akira Hokuto vs. Megumi Kudo
This was an absolute dream match. These two had met in tag team action in the past but never one on one. By the time Hokuto had made her rise in AJW, Kudo had been fired and had made her name in FMW as a death match queen. These two would brutalize each other, neither wanting to back down. Hokuto would use her size to try to break Kudo early, but Kudo is vicious and tactical, and made her pay later. Hokuto would attempt to put her down with a Northern Lights Bomb, but Kudo kicked out to the shock of everyone. Hokuto would get a chair and attpt her finisher on it, but Kudo would break free, dropkicking Akira and smashing her with the chair before delivering her devastating Kudome Valentine on it, getting the three count! The crowd goes insane, chanting for her!
WINNER: MEGUMI KUDO
After the match, and emotional Kudo gets on the mic and says she wants a shot at the winner of the main event! The crowd approves in a big way!
TAG TEAM MATCH
Aja Kong & Bull Nakano vs. Chigusa Nagayo & Lioness Asuka
The Crush Gals facing down an evil duo, now that's a familiar story, but the fans don't care. The chants for Nagayo and Asuka were huge here, as they tried will them through this uphill battle with the monsters Kong and Nakano. Try as they might, Kong and Bull couldn't keep down the charismatic duo and they seemed to grow stronger willed the longer the match went, while the monster duo seemed to tire. They would manage to knock Long from the ring with a double missile dropkick from the middle rope, before hitting a Spike Pile-driver on Bill to get the win as the fans went crazy!
WINNERS: CHIGUSA NAGAYO & LIONESS ASUKA
INTERNATIONAL TITLE
SINGLES MATCH
Manami Toyota vs. Mayu Iwatani (c)
A battle of the generations here and one that has been a long time in the making, as perhaps the greatest female wrestler of all time, Toyota, took on the year long running champion in Iwatani. Iwatani's toughness has been well documented, as she has faced many great challengers and eaten everything they had to offer and asked for more. Toyota has a very deep arsenal and seemingly an endless gas tank, so she really threw more at Iwatani than she has ever experienced. Toyota has been through some of the toughest wars in history and walked out on top, and this was certainly one of them. It was a second Japanese Ocean Cyclone Suplex that was finally enough to out away Iwatani, folded up and finally defeated, as Toyota got the win!
WINNER AND NEW INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION: MANAMI TOYOTA
Toyota takes the title and Mayu offers her hand out of respect... Only to have Mayu kick her and then smash her over the head with the title! Mayu looks at the belt she has held so long and uses it to bust Toyota open and then wipes her blood across her chest! The fans are in shock and booing as Toyota is left a bloody mess in the center of the ring.
OOC: I've been putting these shows out typing on my phone while walking on a treadmill at the gym, I don't have a computer anymore, so sorry about the lack of formatting or any typos, I'm just enjoying putting something out. Thanks guys.
