AEW Dynamite
December 4, 2019
Live from St. Louis, Missouri
The AEW World Champion, Daniel Bryan, is already in the ring as the fans are chanting his name. Bryan looks fired up as he grabs a microphone and begins cutting a promo to kick off this week’s episode of Dynamite.
“First of all, Jay White, I kicked your ass and retained this AEW World Championship. So my advice to you moving forward is to get to the back of the line, put the work in, and keep your mouth shut!”
The fans cheer but are also surprised at this impassioned version of Daniel Bryan standing in the ring.
“Now, onto business. For those of you who didn’t have the chance to catch Full Gear, the show ended with Killer Kross making his presence felt. Kross had some choice words for me, my championship, but most importantly...my family. Kevin, I’m going to make this crystal clear for you right now. You keep my wife and my daughter’s name out of your mouth. They have absolutely nothing to do with this, nor do they play a part in you losing this AEW Championship and getting suspended as a result of your own ignorance. I have busted my ass for years to get to this point, to be able to hold a world championship and represent a company. What have you done, Kross? What have you done to warrant yourself to be AEW champion, let alone get another shot at what you call ‘your’ championship. You’ve done nothing but terrorize this AEW roster, you’ve surrounded yourself with goonies who don’t know their ass from a hole in the ground, and you’ve plagued All Elite Wrestling with your cryptic bullsh-t for too long!”
The fans begin going wild in the crowd as Bryan begins pacing back and forth in the ring.
“So I’m going to say this, you want a shot at this title? Then you got it! And I’m not going to wait around forever while you lurk in the shadows like a cheesy eighties villain. If you want a shot at this title, I’ll be in the ring tonight for the main event and I will face you one on one tonight and I WILL DEFEND THIS CHAMPIONSHIP to shut you up once and for all!”
Bryan’s music hits the PA as the fans are going wild. The announcers can’t believe that Bryan would go to such extremes after such a physically grueling match he had at Full Gear. We go to commercial break, on eggshells.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
Match 1
AEW World Tag Team Championships
Guerrillas of Destiny v. PCO and Brody King (c) (Kross Kult)
The bell sounds and it’s going to be Tama Tonga and PCO kicking things off. After earning this championship opportunity at Full Gear, GoD is not willing to let it slip through their fingers as Tama immediately goes on the attack. Several minutes of vicious attacks from Tama gets the crowd going, but it’s an eye rake from PCO that stops his momentum. Upon tagging Brody King, the big man is able to beat down Tama for what seems like an eternity, causing the fans frustration. As the crowd cheers for Loa to make the hot tag, Tama seems to gain some energy back enough to eventually roll to Loa and get that tag! After coming in with a hot sequence, King is able to stop Loa in his tracks and dominate some more. The finish of the match came when Loa was building his momentum back up, but Brody King was able to roll him up for the three and escape with the tag titles!
Winners and STILL AEW World Tag Team Champions: PCO and Brody King (Kross Kult)
“The Pope” Elijah Burke is standing backstage holding his AEW National Championship. He says that he proved the world wrong by defeating “Hangman” Adam Page and retaining his title. Burke says that he understands why people hate him. He’s got fame. He’s got fortune. He’s got women. And he’s got looks. Burke says now that he’s retained his title yet again, it’s just a matter of time before another idiot challenges him.
Chris Benoit appears on screen as the fans in attendance cheer! Benoit looks at Burke, down at the National Title, then back up at Burke. Benoit claims he’s far from an idiot, before walking out of the frame, leaving Burke with a scared look on his face.
Match 2
“The Premier Athlete” Tony Nese v. Kota Ibushi
Kota Ibushi is making his AEW debut in this matchup as the die-hard fans in the audience are already well acquainted with his talent, cheering him on. Tony Nese is standing in the ring rolling his eyes, waiting to pummel Ibushi. As Ibushi enters the ring, the bell sounds. Tony Nese charges at Ibushi looking to make quick work of him, but Ibushi stops Nese with a roundhouse kick! Then…
Ibushi hits the GOLDEN STAR POWERBOMB! 1! 2! 3! Ibushi makes quick work of Tony Nese!
Winner: Kota Ibushi by pinfall
After the match, Kota Ibushi celebrates his AEW debut victory in the ring as we go to commercial break.

Match 3
Tessa Blanchard v. Dakota Kai
This match started off with the AEW Women’s Champion, Tessa Blanchard, asserting her dominance over the underdog Dakota Kai. Tessa was noticeably cocky throughout the match until a near fall roll up from Kai sent Tessa into a fit of rage. It was this fit of rage that led to Tessa’s downfall in the match, creating a situation where Dakota Kai was able to take advantage and connect with the Kai-Ropractor on Tessa! Kai made the pin and successfully defeated the AEW Women’s Champion before immediately rolling out of the ring, shocked!!
Winner: Dakota Kai by pinfall
We see Killer Kross standing backstage in his full villainous attire. He turns around, removes his sunglasses, and smiles.
“Daniel Bryan, thank you for this opportunity. I promise you will enjoy it every step of the way. When it’s all said and done, you will feel a sense of relief and the world will understand why I am the most dominant force in professional wrestling. But that’s enough chit-chat for now. Enjoy the show.”
And with that, Kross chuckles sinisterly while we fade to the next scene of AEW Dynamite!
Match 4
America’s Most Wanted v. E.N.D. (Moose and Big E)
Chris Harris and James Storm are making their AEW debuts tonight against the formidable yet controversial tag team of the E.N.D. The match starts off with Harris and Moose trading heavy blows until a big boot from Moose launches Harris into his own corner. Storm makes the blind tag and enters the ring, going to town on Moose, but his strength his too much for Storm as he falls to the mat. Moose pulls Storm to the corner where Big E tags in and begins to deliver heavy offense of his own. At the midpoint, Storm is able to turn things around with strikes to the head of Big E, followed by a Last Call Superkick, sending Big E down! Storm makes the HOT tag to Chris Harris who comes in and begins to clean things up, and even send Moose to the outside! As Big E is rocked, he turns around and falls victim to the Fall Away Slam from Harris! In an impressive display of strength, Chris Harris manages to hit the Catatonic on Big E for the huge victory!
Winners: AMW by pinfall
COMMERCIAL BREAK
Upon returning from commercial, we see “Switchblade” Jay White standing backstage.
“I have a hard time understanding why I can’t get a fair shot around this company! I was screwed out of the AEW World Championship and now we’re just moving on? Killer Kross and his big goofy ass just marches to the front of the line and we all have to just accept it? Meanwhile, what is being done about Daniel Bryan cheating to retain his title against me? There is a conspiracy here in All Elite Wrestling and it’s against ME! I’m getting very...sick...and...tired of it. What do I have to do for some justice around here? Maybe it’s time I take the law into my own hands.”
And with that, Jay White walks away, angry.
Match 5
AEW World Championship
Killer Kross v. Daniel Bryan (c)
Daniel Bryan makes his entrance to huge fanfare. He gives his championship to the referee in the ring and stands in the corner, waiting for the menacing Killer Kross to make his entrance.
The lights in the arena darken with a purple spotlight, until the arena goes completely black.
Kevin Kelly: What’s going on here?
Don Callis: I don’t know but I don’t like it!
Static fills the big screen in the arena until we come to an image of a darkened room.
As the eerie feeling begins to settle in the arena, fans sit in silence as we see what appears to be a morgue.
We zoom in one two of the morgue’s refrigerator doors, one reading “PCO” and the other reading “Brody King.” We hear a man screaming and crying in the background with words that are unintelligible and garbled. Then, a man steps into the frame…
“He told me to be strong and courageous; for HE...is my strength and my shield. I have been rescued and my life has become new and it is my life that I now owe him, forevermore.”
Kevin Kelly: Is that ALEISTER BLACK? WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE?!
Aleister Black steps out of the frame, and we hear a strike echo in the morgue. Aleister walks back into the frame holding a red suit jacket, which could only have been owned by “Father” James Mitchell.
“Verily verily I say unto thee, lest a man be faithful to Him, they shall be cast into Hell to dwell for the rest of eternity.”
As soon as Black finishes uttering his disturbing words, we begin to hear police sirens in the distant background. Black smirks, before slinging the red jacket over his shoulder, and walking out of the scene. AEW Dynamite comes to a screeching halt, leaving the fans in attendance unsettled and afraid…
