In a fun match to get the crowd going, the E.N.D. was able to secure a victory over Jurassic Express around the eight minute mark when Moose connected with a terrifying lariat nearly decapitating Marko Stunt.
Fight For The Fallen opens with an impressive pyro display as the camera pans around the arena showing a capacity crowd filled to the brim of the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach. The crowd is excited holding up various signs supporting their favorite wrestlers while shunning the ones they despise. We get a shot of AEW’s commentators, Don Callis and Kevin Kelly, giving us a breakdown of tonight’s card. Shortly after, we head to the ring for our opening contest.
Match 1
AEW World Tag Team Championship
Good Brothers v. PCO and Brody King
The Good Brothers are out first to a big reaction from the sold out crowd. They enter the ring and pose as the fans are show their support. Out next are two core members of the Kross Kult, the AEW Tag Team Champs, PCO and Brody King and it is evident the fans to not like these two individuals. As the bell sounds, it’s Brody King and Luke Gallows kicking things off. Several minutes elapsed and no clear dominance emerged from either wrestler during this time as both men trade off power moves with King hitting a middle rope missile dropkick. Worn out, both men tag in and here comes PCO and Karl Anderson. Anderson gets the better of PCO for the first few seconds until PCO connects with a big boot almost knocking Anderson out cold. PCO continues to dominate the match working over Anderson with various ground and pound techniques. The finish of the match came when Anderson attempted the Stun Gun on PCO, but PCO countered with a boot, tagged in Brody King, and King hitting a running yakuza kick knocking Anderson out. PCO knocked Gallows off the ring apron as King got the victory.
Winners and STILL AEW World Tag Team Champions: PCO and Brody King by pinfall
We see the “National Treasure” Nick Aldis backstage. He says that he decided not to partake in any in-ring action tonight because he doesn’t believe the fans in Daytona Beach are worthy of seeing him wrestle. He calls himself the best pure athlete to come from the United Kingdom and goes on to say several disparaging things about the United States. Aldis says he’ll wrestle when he comes back from vacation, despite the fact that he’s barely competed since signing his AEW contract.
Match 2
Three Way Dance
Logan Shulo v. Drew McIntyre v. Tommaso Ciampa
All three men begin to have a three-way brawl in the center of the ring as the crowd begins to cheer, loving the mayhem and violence before them. Eventually McIntyre shoves Shulo with such force he falls through the middle rope. Ciampa goes on the attack with clubbing blows to the back of McIntyre but the Scottish Psychopath absorbs the blows like nothing. McIntyre overpowers Ciampa and plants him with a powerbomb in the center of the ring. Shulo runs back in and tries the roll up on McIntyre, but only gets a two count.
The conclusion of the match came after McIntyre had continued to dominante Shulo but Ciampa saw an opening to roll up McIntyre for a huge win!
Winner: Tommasso Ciampa by pinfall
Daniel Bryan is standing backstage moments before his AEW World Championship match against Killer Kross. Bryan says that tonight the fun and games are over for the Kross Kult. He states that AEW deserves better than Killer Kross running roughshod over the roster. This was a very short and focused promo from an intense Daniel Bryan highlighting his newfound aggression.
Match 3
AEW National Championship
“The Premier Athlete” Tony Nese v. “The Pope” Elijah Burke (c)
Both men begin circling the ring as the bell sounds. The opening of the match highlights the chain wrestling and mat ability of both men until Burke nails a few nasty elbows the back of Nese’s head knocking him silly. Burke hits an impressive sequence of moves including a suplex, dropkick, and even a DDT but only for a near fall. Burke starts to get frustrated as Nese rolls him up out of nowhere! 1! 2! Burke kicks out! Nese continues on the offense with a dropkick of his own as well as a belly to back suplex for another near fall. The finish of the match came when Tony Nese was going for a death valley driver but Burke was able to counter into the Elijah Experience to retain his National Championship.
Winner and STILL AEW National Champion: “The Pope” Elijah Burke by pinfall
We see “Hangman” Adam Page on the screen as the fans in attendance cheer in the background. Page congratulates Burke for retaining his championship but says that he’s next in line for a title shot. Hangman says that Burke isn’t National Championship material. He says he’s ready to uphold the National Championship to its actual value unlike Burke who is using it as a mere prop to “get chicks” and “make money.” Hangman taunts Burke and facetiously wishes him “good luck” in their upcoming confrontation.
Match 4
Last Man Standing
“The Villain” Marty Scurll v. Joey Ryan
The time has come - the final showdown between Scurll and Ryan. As the bell sounds, both men rush to the center of the ring and begin exchanging rapid punches! The crowd is loving it until Joey Ryan goes low and kicks Scurll right in the gonads drawing an immense amount of heat. Ryan poses to the audience and yells back at them. He wastes no time by rolling out of the ring and grabbing a steel chair. He slides into the ring but Scurll is about to snatch the chair away and starts cracking it over the back of Ryan! Over the next several minutes, multiple weapons are brought into this match including singapore canes, another chair, and a trash can. After a massive trash can shot to the head of Joey Ryan, Scurll rolls out of the ring and finds a table! He slides it into the ring and proceeds to set it up. He grabs Ryan and attempts to powerbomb him through the table, but Ryan wiggles free and attempts to backdrop Scurll through it, but Scurll hits a nasty uppercut rocking Ryan who is practically knocked out on top of the table now. Scurll sees an opportunity as the fans encourage him to go up top and finish this. Scurll concedes and heads to the top, but Ryan rolls off and quickly grabs Scurll, throwing him off the top rope into the table! From here, the referee begins his count once again….and reaches the ten count. This match is over.
Winner: Joey Ryan via ten count
“Switchblade” Jay White appears backstage. Again, he mentions that AEW is failing to live up to their end of the deal in failing to provide him with the opportunities he was promised. White guarantees that if things don’t change, he’ll find a way to get noticed, whether that’s in AEW or another company that can actually appreciate his talent. After this slightly awkward segment, we cut to the next match.
Match 5
Kenny Omega v. Sting
Omega and Sting are ready to charge at each other but patiently wait for the bell to sound. “STING!” chants fill the arena but Sting is focused in on Omega. The bell sounds and we’re off! Sting charges out of the corner and begins unloading on Omega causing the fans in attendance to erupt.
Sting is on fire as he nails three successive clotheslines rocking Kenny Omega. Sting attempts a forth clothesline....
But Kenny snaps back with a swiftly executed hurricanrana. This changes the tide of the match as Kenny works a grounded headlock on the Icon. Several minutes pass of Kenny working the headlock and Sting begins to make a comeback. As the fans continue to support Sting, he makes it to his feet, his three elbows to the sternum of Omega, and sends him into the ropes. Omega bounces back, and Sting LEAPS into the air with a big dropkick! Overall the next several minutes, both men continue to do battle until we begin to reach the conclusion of the match. Kenny Omega attempts to hit a V-Trigger on Sting who ducks and then attempts the Scorpion Deathdrop! Kenny manages to hit a knee to the forehead of Sting breaking free. He grabs him to try to hit the One Winged Angel, but Sting counters into the SCORPION DEATH DROP!
He locks in the Scorpion Deathlock! Fans are going wild and Kenny can’t escape...KENNY TAPS OUT! Sting celebrates as the fans go wild and it seems that this chapter has come to an end.
Winner: Sting by submission
Match 6
AEW Women’s Championship
Jordynne Grace v. Tessa Blanchard (c)
The crowd is firmly behind Jordynne Grace as Tessa Blanchard looks across the ring from her, disgusted. As the bell sounds, both women lock up and begin a series of chain wrestling moves showing off their technical prowess. Grace is able to use her power advantage to work over Tessa for the next several minutes, but out of nowhere, Tessa was able to connect with a huge hammerlock DDT essentially incapacitating Jordynne Grace to retain the championship.
Winner and STILL AEW Women’s Champion: Tessa Blanchard by pinfall
"As the time draws near, I have to ask myself, am I supposed to be afraid? Daniel Bryan is nothing special. He is the epitome of a common man. I am not. My presence is enough to make a common man tremble. My words manifest a physical reaction and invokes horror, dismay, and trepidation in the hearts and minds of millions of people every week. Hearts racing, brows sweating, men cowering under my unwavering power and my frightening yet superior existence. What does Daniel Bryan do? What power - authority - does he actually have? Make no mistake about it that, as the time draws closer, I become excited at the thought of the pain and torture I will inflict upon Daniel Bryan. When Bryan falls - just like the rest of them - he will fade back into obscurity and I will continue my reign of dominance over the All Elite Wrestling roster. Oh Danny Boy, your windpipes will be calling...screaming...begging for mercy as I force the air out of your lungs and send you straight to the pits of Hell. See you in a few moments, Daniel."

Main Event
AEW World Championship
Daniel Bryan v. Killer Kross (c)
The crowd is electric as Kross hands his AEW World Championship to the referee. The referee proudly holds up the championship indicating that this is an official World Championship match. The crowd is already chanting “DANIEL BRYAN” before the bell even sounds. Kross is snarling in the corner with a sinister facial expression. As the bell sounds, both men begin to circle the ring. A collar elbow tie up in the center is the way the match begins. Kross uses his power to shove Bryan down to the mat as the boos reign down. Bryan gets up and both men lock up again. Bryan uses his speed to go behind Kross and begins using clubbing blows, but Kross nails a nasty back elbow straight to the nose of Bryan, knocking him down again. The perseverance of Bryan coupled with the charge from the crowd brings Bryan back to his feet again who manages to hit a flurry of kicks on Kross. Bryan gets Kross in the corner and continues kicking away.
Bryan then hits a running dropkick to Kross in the corner, knocking the big man down. Bryan goes for a quick pin but is met with a mere one count much to his dismay. Bryan attempts to lock in the crossface on Kross, who rolls Bryan over. Both men stand again and continue to engage in war for the next several minutes.
Bryan hits the big running knee for a near fall! The fans continue to chant for Bryan.
NO! It’s Father James Mitchell! The sinister father of the Kross Kult hops onto the ring apron and begins distracting Bryan, until Bryan lays him out with a huge right hand! The crowd goes crazy!
Bryan turns around and walks right into a HUGE roundhouse kick from the shockingly athletic Killer Kross. This only gains a near fall for Kross. He stands up and yells at Mitchell on the outside to check on him, but Father Jim is KO’d. This pisses off Kross, who turns around…
And begins to pummel Bryan with devastating blows. The fans boo as Kross is relentless in his attack. Eventually, the referee pulls Kross away as Bryan is unable to defend himself. After Bryan signals he’s ok, Kross grabs Bryan…
DOOMSDAY SAITO! Kross hits the finisher!
1….
2………
NOOOOO! Bryan gets the shoulder up and neither Kross nor the fans can believe it! Kross lets out a primal scream and begins punching himself in the face. He brings Bryan to his feet again to attempt another Saito…
BRYAN REVERSES INTO THE YES LOCK! Kross begins screaming in pain and the atmosphere is absolutely electric! Kross reaches for the ropes….
And reaches…
BUT HE CAN’T TAKE IT ANYMORE AND KROSS TAPS OUT!!!!
DANIEL BRYAN HAS WON THE AEW WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP!
The fans are practically moshing ringside as Bryan holds up the AEW World Championship in disbelief! He can’t believe that he has finally put an end to the reign of Killer Kross, but HE DID IT! What a huge night for Daniel Bryan and Sting both effectively shutting up Killer Kross and Kenny Omega respectively. Although we saw the tandem of PCO and King retain the tag titles, you cannot deny this has been a horrible night for the Kross Kult collectively. What will happen in the fallout of this amazing pay-per-view? Tune in to Dynamite next week to find out!
