AEW Dynamite
September 19, 2019
Live from the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado
AEW Dynamite opens up to an impressive pyro display on the stage and above the ring. We pan to a shot of the live crowd holding various signs like “KENNY SUCKS!” and “Hangman Has My Heart.” We head ringside to Don Callis and Kevin Kelly who begin to recap last weeks shocking ending of Dynamite.
Kevin Kelly: Welcome to Dynamite! What a night we have in store for you folks at home. But first, Don, we have to recap last weeks ending.
Don Callis: In a shocking turn of events, PCO and Brody King defeated the Good Brothers for the tag team titles! But it didn’t end there.
Kevin Kelly: Hangman Page promised to get to the bottom of the drama surrounding the Kross Kult and that’s exactly what he did. Kenny Omega was exposed and his allegiance to Killer Kross is now public knowledge.
Don Callis: Sting was right about Kenny all along, Kevin! He’s on Team Kross.
Kevin Kelly: I have a special sit down interview with Kenny Omega later tonight, but if you haven’t heard the news yet, Hangman Page introduced the one and only Daniel Bryan as the man who has pledged to eliminate the Kross Kult from AEW! Let’s head down to the ring!
“Flight of the Valkyries” hits the speakers and the arena of the Pepsi Center nearly comes unglued! Daniel Bryan heads to the ring to a massive ovation.
“A few weeks ago, I got a call from a good friend of mine, Adam Page. Hangman told me about the trouble going on in AEW. He told me about this man...this force...called the Kross Kult, led by Killer Kross. I was told that AEW’s saving grace, Kenny Omega, was a wolf in sheep’s clothing and despite Hangman’s best efforts, he and Sting couldn’t fight alone. Despite being contractually obligated to another company, I knew it was time to make a move on behalf of the greater good of professional wrestling. So first, I watched. I went back and watched Dynamite, watched the pay-per-views. I saw this man named Killer Kross and I saw his goonies PCO and Brody King. I saw his decrepit ‘father’ James Mitchell and I knew INSTANTLY that Killer Kross is a scared, scared man. Anyone who has to surround themselves with ‘yes-men’, no pun intended, is afraid and when I stepped into this ring last week, I saw it in his eyes. I knew instantly that Killer Kross is nothing more than a facade!”
The fans begin cheering for Bryan who is getting fired up!
“Now that Kenny Omega has been exposed as a fraud and a liar, I think ‘The Icon’ Sting has a few words left to say to Kenny so I’m going to leave that issue alone. But you, Kross? You want to prance around All Elite Wrestling and pretend to be the guy? I hope you find your balls before Fight For The Fallen, because that’s when I plan on taking your World Championship!”
This gets a HUGE pop from the crowd followed by massive “YES!” chants.
“KROSS! You are a cancer to AEW and to professional wrestling as a whole. You have pissed off the wrong guy and now it’s getting ready to bite you in the ass. They said I could say whatever I wanted, so that’s what I’m going to do. Killer Kross, come Fight For The Fallen, you are f*cked!”
Bryan throws the mic down as his theme song hits back up. The fans are going wild and the intensity radiating from Bryan’s eyes is unlike anything we have seen before in All Elite Wrestling.
Match 1
Mike Kanellis w/ Maria v. Lance Archer
In a rematch from last week, Mike Kanellis has a fire in his eyes after Archer’s brutal attack on Maria. Kanellis charges out of the corner throwing blows at the much larger American Psycho. Archer shoves Kanellis off with ease and begins to dominate the match for several minutes. After a boot from Archer, Kanellis no-sells and stands up to Archer daring him to punch him. Kanellis begins to absorb the blows from Archer as the crowd gets behind him! The conclusion of the match came when Archer attempted to throw a lariat at Kanellis, but Kanellis ducked and got the big man down to the mat...THE CROSSFACE IS LOCKED IN! Archer taps!
Winner: Mike Kanellis by submission
Tommaso Ciampa is standing backstage. He says he doesn’t know what’s going on with the situation in regards to Drew McIntyre and Logan Shulo. He says McIntyre, Shulo, and himself all seem to be vying for the spotlight every week. He recognizes that in AEW, there is a lot of talent trying to rise to the top and he says this situation is no different. He says that, as a result of this, he’s going to send Shulo and McIntyre right back to that “piss-ant” company they used to work for while Ciampa proves that he truly is all elite.
Match 2
Jordynne Grace and Gail Kim v. Tessa Blanchard and Ronda Rousey
In a unique match up, Blanchard and Rousey dominated quite a bit of this match. It wasn’t until halfway through the match that the tides began to turn when Grace started using her power to get the better of Rousey. Delivering a fallaway slam and a powerbomb, Rousey was forced to tag her partner Blanchard getting a pop from the crowd as Grace and Blanchard began to trade blows! The conclusion of the match comes with Tessa and Jordynne in the ring. After Tessa dominates the match for a few minutes, it’s Grace who manages to get the roll up victory over Tessa, shocking the world!
Winners: Jordynne Grace and Gail Kim via pinfall
After the match, Tessa gets pissed and begins assaulting Grace. This rivalry is certainly starting to heat up, and Tessa isn’t about to let the women’s championship out of her grasp.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
Match 3
Rhino v. “The Pope” Elijah Burke
In this match, Rhino looked great against the National Champion Elijah Burke. Burke was able to use his speed advantage to corner Rhino and hit the Elijah Express driving the wind out of the Man Beast. Burke followed up with the Elijah Experience for the win.
Winner: "The Pope" Elijah Burke
After the match, Burke grabbed the mic and began to run down Tony Nese, calling his win a fluke. Burke promises that at Fight for the Fallen, he will retain his title and Nese will go back to obscurity where he belongs.

We come back from commercial break to find Kenny Omega joined by AEW commentator, Kevin Kelly, in a pre-recorded segment.
“Kenny, thank you for joining me here today. I know you have a HUGE match tonight as you face Daniel Bryan, who is making his AEW in-ring debut. I have to start off by asking, after your actions last week, do you consider yourself a member of the Kross Kult?”
Kenny strokes his chin and smirks before rolling his eyes.
“You just don’t get it! Killer Kross is the hottest thing going in AEW, besides myself of course. Who wouldn’t want to be aligned with such a magnetic and beautifully destructive personality such as him? Let me put it to you like this - if you’re not with the Kross Kult, YOU are...AGAINST the Kross Kult.”
Kenny laughs as Kevin Kelly looks puzzled and alarmed.
“Kenny, I don’t know if you realize, but the attack you made on Sting was prior to the inaugural AEW World Championship match featuring you against Kross. So, wouldn’t that mean that the match between you and Kross for the AEW title was essentially a hoax?”
Kenny glares at Kevin Kelly and begins snarling, a side of Kenny we have not seen before. He stands up and kicks over the chair he was sitting on, before ripping off his microphone, and exiting the scene as Kevin Kelly looks distraught, fearful, and disgusted.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
We come back from commercial where the former tag team champions, the Good Brothers, are standing. They say that they feel cold and naked without the AEW tag team titles. They mention that the Kross Kult is making a lot of enemies lately and that they can add the Good Brothers to that list. They vow revenge against PCO and Brody King at Fight for the Fallen.
Match 4
Marty Scurll v. Nick Aldis
In a match that was technically impressive, “The Villain” Marty Scurll was able to get the better of Nick Aldis after a back and forth battle. Scurll was able to incapacitate Aldis using the Crossface Chickenwing.
Winner: “The Villain” Marty Scurll
After the match, JOEY RYAN ran down the ramp and begun assaulting Scurll, not letting their feud die. In an impressive display of dominance, Ryan delivered a massive reverse tombstone piledriver to Scurll.
Afterwards, Ryan grabbed a mic and said last weeks confrontation wasn’t enough for him. He wants to end Marty Scurll. He wants to decimate Marty Scurll. He wants to ensure that Marty Scurll cannot walk out of the arena on his own free will and that is why he wants Scurll in a final showdown at Fight for the Fallen - in a LAST MAN STANDING MATCH!
Match 5
Daniel Bryan v. Kenny Omega
In what can only be described as an incredibly competitive match, Daniel Bryan managed to get the huge win over Kenny Omega after about twenty minutes by making Kenny tap out to the Yes Lock. Bryan begins celebrating until Killer Kross runs down the ramp! Kross and Omega begin to beat down Bryan until the lights go out…
Then, the lights turn back on…
STING IS HERE! THE CROWD GOES CRAZY! Kross and Omega immediately roll out of the ring and the crowd is loving it!
“We all know that Killer Kross is going to herald his OWN doomsday come Fight For The Fallen, and that leaves YOU...Kenny Omega! Me, and you, one on one, boy! And I can guarantee that it's gonna be SHOWTIME!”
Sting drops the mic leaving Kenny infuriated. Bryan nods and shakes his head while pointing to Kross, reminding him of their own match at the next pay-per-view. Kross and Kenny exit as Bryan and Sting continue playing to the fans!
This weeks episode of Dynamite comes to an end with Daniel Bryan and Sting celebrating on the ramp. Sting has laid the challenge for Fight For The Fallen to face Kenny Omega. Will he accept the challenge? What does the next chapter of Bryan and Kross contain? There is only one way to find out - tune in next week!
