"REGENERATION"
TOKYO, JAPAN
The show opens with CIMA making his way out, and the crowd are on their feet for the first ever IWL International champion! CIMA says that he may be in NJPW now, but he says he is still the biggest star ISPW has ever had and WILL ever have, and he has unfinished business! CIMA says he wants the chance to regain his championship, a chance he never received, and he demands a match with Buddy Murphy for the International title! This brings out Taka Michinoku to a very loud, mixed response, and the tension can be felt throughout the building. Taka says that CIMA should have stayed away, because this place now belongs to Taka, mamafucker! He says CIMA had his chance to keep his belt when he faced Naito, and he lost. It's that simple. He says CIMA needs to get out of the past, and more importantly, get out of his ring, because the face of ISPW now belongs to Taka Michinoku! CIMA says the only way he's leaving that ring is with a fight, and if Taka wants a fight, he can bring it tonight and send him out if he thinks he can! Taka contemplates this and says that he is on, but if he loses, he stays out of ISPW for good! CIMA says he doesn't care, because there is no way he is losing tonight, and he will hold his championship once again!
Hayato Jr. Fujita vs. Yoshitsune
This was a fast, quick opener to start. The hard hitting Fujita was able to ground the exciting, innovative flier Yoshitsune early. Yoshitsune would gain his footing and then leave his feet altogether, showing his impressive skills and eventually winning the match with a Corkscrew Imploding Somersalt Legdrop! This move destroyed Fujita and kept him down for the three count!
Winner by Pinfall: Yoshitsune
Akira Tozawa, Dragon Kid, and Magnum Tokyo vs. Ikuto Hidaka, Minoru Fujita, and Munenori Sawa
This six man match was another fast affair, but it saw a lot of action take place out of the ring and in the crowd! With Hidaka, Fujita, and Sawa using more heelish tactics throughout, the fans were solidly behind Tozawa, Kid, and Magnum, and it was Dragon Kid who was able to hit his DragonRana on Fujita to get the win for his team in the end!
Winners by Pinfall: Akira Tozawa, Dragon Kid, and Magnum Tokyo
Konami and Momo Watanabe vs. Hikaru Shida and Sonoko Kato
Konami and Momo would get the fans behind them early with quick tags and double teams, showing their striking skills and energy to keep these fans on their feet! Shida and Kato would try to slow things down and get rough with their opponents, with Shida even using a Kendo Stick on the outside to brutalize the ribs of Momo! Kato would find herself locked up in the Triangle Lancer from Konami and looked like she might tap, but Shida would hit the ring and deliver a flying High Knee to break up the submission! Kato would roll out of the ring and Shida would use her Shidax A roll-up to hold Konami down for the count of three!
Winners by Pinfall: Hikaru Shida and Sonoko Kato
Chris Hero and Oney Lorcan vs. Isami Kodaka and Jinsei Shinzaki
The Americans coming over from Prestige Pro Wrestling were very confident, with Hero trying to keep the "Mad Dog" Lorcan from going too wild at the opening. Kodaka and Shinzaki are highly battle tested and have been through many hardcore matches between them, so they were not afraid to get into a brawl with Hero and Lorcan. This was a very hard hitting affair, and Kodaka and Lorcan would get especially wild on the outside, with Kodaka hitting a Diving Crossbody off of a balcony to a big pop from the crowd! Back in the ring, Hero would attempt a Rolling Elbow on Shinzaki, only to get caught with a Chokeslam, followed by a deadlift Folding Powerbomb, allowing Shinzaki to hold down Hero and get the win!
Winners by Pinfall: Isami Kodaka and Jinsei Shinzaki
After the match, Hero would throw some chairs and make a scene before taking a microphone and challenging Shinzaki to a one-on-one contest! Shinzaki would say that Hero needs to learn to be humble, and accepted his challenge!
Dakota Kai and Toni Storm vs. Hana Kimura and Hazuki
Kimura and Hazuki were great heels in this match, working the crowd throughout and trying to embarrass their foes and ridicule them mercilessly! Kai and Storm are here from Prestige Pro Wrestling and showed that they belonged here in ISPW, using their very tight wrestling skills, hard strikes, and exciting offense to keep Kimura and Hazuki reeling, and eventually deliver a solid Air Raid Crash/Head Kick combo to Kimura, leading Storm to pin her for the win!
Winners by Pinfall: Dakota Kai and Toni Storm
Storm and Kai would get the microphone thanking the fans and saying they would be back, only to have Hazuki and Kimura attack them from behind with chairs! Hazuki would retrieve a spike from under the ring and bludgeon Storm's forehead with it, leaving her bloody in the ring and showing her ruthlessness as Kimura clapped and cheered her on! Hazuki gets on the microphone and tells Kai and Storm that the next time they come to ISPW, they go home in body bags!
Great Sasuke vs. Masaaki Mochizuki
Mochizuki and Sasuke have been involved in some very intense battles in the past here in ISPW, but this was easily their best match up to date. Sasuke would pull out all of his biggest dives and moves, trying to put Mochizuki down, but Mochizuki would show his iron toughness is withstanding whatever Sasuke had and asking for more! Mochizuki would go on a run, using his lethal striking and high impact arsenal of head dropping Brainbusters and brutal head kicks to try to keep Sasuke down, but somehow Sasuke would keep getting the shoulder up, also not wanting to give Mochi the satisfaction! These two would end up trading blows to the face and low kicks near the end, with Mochizuki seemingly getting the better of it, but Sasuke would surprise him, ducking a High Kick and hitting a Reverse Hurricanrana! Mochizuki looked out on his knees, but Sasuke lifted him up and delivered the Thunder Fire Powerbomb, holding his legs down as he folded him up, and he would get the three count! The fans are on their feet chanting for Sasuke after that win!
Winner by Pinfall: Great Sasuke
Sasuke can barely get to his feet after that battle. Mochizuki regains his footing, and Sasuke offers a handshake. Mochizuki turns his back on him, however, with his issues obviously not resolved here with Sasuke.
Ayumi Kurihara and Mariko Yoshida vs. Hiroyo Matsumoto and Yoshiko Tamura
All four of these women have history with the other here in ISPW, with different threads of his feuds stemming from each, so there was a lot of emotion in this contest. Tamura and Yoshida would have an excellent mat based back and forth for a good portion of the opener, as these two have perhaps the longest running feud of the bunch and it's always interesting when they step into the ring with each other. Yoshida is the superior mat wrestler, and may be the best mat wrestling female in ISPW, but Tamura knew the exchange would take some gas out of her tank and took the opening for an eye gauge to turn the tides. Matsumoto would come in and use her size to put a huirting on Yoshida, but Yoshida would manage to use her fists and low center of gravity to throw Matsumoto to the mat hard and ring in Kurihara to inject some energy into this match! Tamura would manage to grab her foot as she was coming off of the ropes towards Matsumoto, tripping her up and causing her to get leveled by a Matsumoto Lariat! Yoshida would fly in to break up the pinfall, but Tamura would deliver a Spear and then chuck her out of the ring! Matsumoto would get Kurihara up into a Powerbomb, and Tamura would fly off of the top rope with a Flying Elbow Smash, Matsumoto delivering a Sit-Out Powerbomb combo to take Kurihara down for the pinfall!
Winners by Pinfall: Hiroyo Matsumoto and Yoshiko Tamura
Shingo Takagi vs. Tiger Mask
Shingo may still be considered a smaller wrestler, but "The Dragon" is quite imposing and very powerful, and this posed a lot of issues for Tiger Mask. Tiger Mask is very fast, very charismatic, and tried to get under the skin of Shingo with his agility and striking prowess, but Shingo's power and innovative wrestling made for an awesome clash between the two. Tiger Mask would try to flip off the ropes onto Shingo and Shingo would catch him and slam him. Tiger Mask would try to fly out of the ring onto Shingo, and Shingo would catch him and slam him. You see the pattern, and Tiger Mask would take quite a bit of damage as Shingo gained in confidence. The fans would rally behind Tiger Mask, who would show his heart, getting knocked down but kipping up and showing his vitality, egging Shingo on, turning his confidence to frustration. Shingo would manage to deliver a Pop-Up Death Valley Driver to an oncoming Tiger Mask, and got a two count. "The Dragon" would deliver a couple of big Lariats to Tiger Mask, but he wasn't done, lifting Tiger Mask off the mat at the count of two, showing his arrogance. Shingo would drive Tiger Mask into the buckles and place him up top, looking for a big finisher. Tiger Mask would fight his way out, blasting Shingo with fists and a big headbutt behind getting behind him and delivering a BIG German Suplex off the middle turnbuckle, shaking the ring! Tiger Mask would hang on, though, pulling Shingo back up and hooking his arms behind him, before delivering a Stalling Bridging Tiger Suplex, plowing Shingo onto his neck and shoulders and holding him down for the three!
Winner by Pinfall: Tiger Mask
Tiger Mask gets on the microphone afterwards and says he is ready to fight and claw his way to the top against any man! He says Shingo showed him no respect, and he was ripped apart, and now a man like Taka Michinoku and a braggart like CIMA tries to claim they are the best and they deserve titles! He says he is ready and willing to attack, and prove that he is ready to be the International champion! The fans were chanting for Tiger Mask in the end as he leaves, slapping the hands of fans as he goes and looking great after that contest.

Satomura is widely considered one of the best wrestlers in the world, regardless of gender, and showed tonight that she could withstand a beating and still come out on top. Hokuto would deliver a Northern Lights Bomb on the floor and send Satomura back into the ring, thinking she had it one by pinning her down with her knees across her chest, but Meiko kicked out and yelled out, telling Akira that she needs to show some respect! Hokuto would deliver a series of quick, snapping Piledrivers before trying for a Northern Lights Bomb inside of the ring, but Meiko would reverse it into a high angle Fujiwara Armbar! Meiko would land some devastating kicks and hit a Death Valley Bomb, but Hokuto would kick out and tell Meiko to bring it on! Meiko would land a few more kicks, but Hokuto would catch one and bring her down with a Dragon Screw, followed by series of kneedrops to the knee, and then just a vicious, blatant choke! Hokuto would deliver multiple head stomps and then a Pumphandle Powerbomb, but Meiko still kicked out! Akira would show her rage, slapping Meiko repeatedly before trying for a Northern Lights Bomb once more, but Meiko would reverse it and deliver a High Speed Dragon Suplex, followed by her Scorpio Rising kick, knocking Akira out cold for the three count!
Winner by Pinfall: Meiko Satomura
Meiko Satomura looks beaten and exhausted, but she takes the mic after her match. She says that it has been a long road, but she almost had that International title once before in the finals of the inaugural tournament. She says she has watched challenger after challenger fail to take down Mayu Iwatani, and she continues to reign supreme. Meiko says she hopes to get another shot at that belt, because it is clear Mayu is the best woman wrestling today, but Meiko says she wants that honor, and she knows she will have to earn it.
CIMA vs. Taka Michinoku
CIMA and Taka play a feeling out game early on, and it's clear these fans are torn between these two greats of the ring. Taka is the first to use underhanded tactics, raking CIMA's eyes and then delivering a Snapmare, followed by a kick to the spine. CIMA answers in kind later, delivering a series of armdrags, followed by a beautiful Dropkick, but then he takes his boots and scrapes them across the face of Taka before blowing his nose on him while he's writhing in pain on the mat. Taka delivers a low blow and sends CIMA out of the ring before springboarding out and taking him down with a big dive! Taka proceeds to hit a Suplex on the floor, and mocks the crowd and CIMA, choking him against the guardrail and trying to start a mocking "CIMA" chant, earning him boos and actually starting the CIMA chant. CIMA is able to reverse a whip and send Taka into the guardrail before Superkicking him over the railing. CIMA positions the railing closer to the ring and heads up to the top turnbuckle, where he decides to jump off and hit a Front Flip Dive that smashes Taka in the crowd and gets the fans going wild for him! CIMA takes things back into the ring and heads up top, where he flies off and delivers his Mad Splash, but only a two count... and Taka shows his resilience, actually rolling him up in a Small Package of sorts for a sneaky two count! Taka hurries and hits a wild Palm Strike on CIMA to knock the taste of his mouth, and then whips him into the corner. Taka comes rushing in, delivering a low knee, followed by a High Kick to the face, and then a spin kick to the back of the head!
Taka heads up top and looks to maybe be thinking Moonsault, but CIMA is back up somehow and blasts his legs out from under him, hanging him up in the Tree of Woe! CIMA then gets on the apron across the ring and springboards back in, hitting a Coast to Coast Dropkick to his face! CIMA goes for the cover, but still just a two count! Taka grabs CIMA and goes for a Butterfly, lifting CIMA up, but CIMA reverses and twists out of it, Superkicking Taka in the gut and grabbing him, crossing his legs and delivering a Cross Legged Scoop Driver, a similar move to the Michinoku Driver II, but only a two count! CIMA grabs Taka up and looks like he might be thinking Schwein, but Taka reverses it, using a Sunset Flip, and when CIMA kicks out, he's right back into the Just Facelock!
