"The Lucha Dragon" Kalisto vs. Ariya Daivari
Kalisto is able to use his speed and skill to overcome the vicious Daivari, delivering the Salida del Sol to get the pinfall.
After the match, Andrade "Cien" Almas and Zelina Vega make their way out, along with Tyler Breeze. Zelina berates the fans, getting heat, before she challenges Kalisto to find a partner to face Andrade and Tyler Breeze at "Destiny". Kalisto accepts the challenge.
"The Alpha Female" Jazzy Gabert & Emma vs. Xia Brookside & Dakota Kai
The Alpha Femalae and Emma were very punishing of their spunky opponents tonight, but Brookside managed to take Gabert off of the apron with a facebuster, allowing Kai to catch Emma with a wicked Roundhouse Kick to get the pinfall.
After the match, Gabert hits Kai with a chair and says if she's so tough, she can prove it at "Destiny"!
"The Ring General" WALTER w/ Stokely Hathaway vs. James Gibson
Stokely Hathaway would come out before the match and tell these fans to show his client the respect he deserves, as "The Ring General" makes an impressive debut. Gibson is a veteran and very solid ring technician, but his strategy of taking out the legs of WALTER was not successful tonight. The much larger WALTER would chop Gibson inside out at one point, before delivering a Lariat to get the win.
After the match, Stokely says that Jay White and Adam Page should reconsider his offer from "Awakening". He says take a good look at this man, WALTER, and what he did tonight. He says if they were his clients, they never would have been put in the situation they were at "Awakening", and that together, domination is inevitable!
"The Punk Rock Razor" Ruby Riott vs. Taynara Conti
Conti tries to use her mat skills to keep Riott down, but Riott is very crafty and doesn't care about the rules, and used everything she could to get the advantage and take the win tonight. Riott would chop Conti to the throat before delivering her Riott Act kick to the face to get the victory.
After the match, Riott says she wants to prove she is the best. She says she pinned Kairi Sane at "Awakening", and at "Destiny", she wants Io Shirai!
Buddy Murphy vs. "The Premier Athlete" Tony Nese
This was easily the best match of the night, as Nese gave Murphy a great fight that went back and forth, with many near falls. Murphy would manage to get the knees up when Nese tried to come off the top with a 450 Splash, following up with a Bicycle Kneestrike and Murphy's Law to get the pinfall.
After the match, Pete Dunne would make his way out to the ring. Pete said that at "Destiny", he needs a tag team partner to take down Hiroshi Tanahashi and Juice Robinson, and says he thinks Murphy is the bloke for the task! Murphy says he accepts that proposition, and will destroy Tanahashi and Robinson as he rises to the top of PPW!
Out to the stage come Juice Robinson and Hiroshi Tanahashi! Juice says that Dunne and Murphy may be impressive, but they are no match for the thunder and lighting they are about to feel once the Juice is loose and the "Ace of the Universe" comes crashing down on them! Murphy says that Robinson is delusional, and that he's trying to ride of Tanahashi's coat tails, but that Tanahashi has no business being in the ring with the future of the sport in Buddy Murphy! Tanahashi takes the microphone and says that he's seen a lot of flash in the pans like Murphy come and go over the years, but he says he can outlast all of them, and will be at the top of the sport after Murphy and Pete Dunne have fizzled and gone! Pete Dunne takes the mic and says Tanahashi can back up that bullocks if he'd like! Juice tries to stop Tanahashi, trying to talk him down, but Tanahashi reassures Juice and says he has honor, and it's been challenged, and he won't back down. Murphy takes the mic and says he knows they are going to win at "Destiny", and says if Tanahashi is so sure, maybe he should put his contract on the line! If he still thinks he's so damn great, then make it interesting! Tanahashi says he will put his contract on the line, but if Tanahashi and Juice win, Buddy Murphy and Pete Dunne never step foot in Japan again! Dunne takes the mic back and says Bob's your uncle, geezer, cause you gotta fight!
Juice looks a little worried here, whispering to Tanahashi, but Tanahashi stands with his chest out as his music plays, knowing that "Destiny" has a whole new meaning now as we head into May 5th.
