BCCW presents:"Back in Boston 2017"BCCW's Premier Showcase of the Year!
Boston Garden
July 2nd 2017
LIVE on PPV!Welcome home dear readers! If you missed what was happening in BCCW over the month, then hit "play" on your DVR recorder and enjoy this brief primer! It has recently been revealed that Mash-Up Wrestling committee member Stephanie McMahon was the mastermind behind her own brother Shane's usurpation as BCCW General Manager. Even worse, Shane's own partner and proud BCCW Commissioner Mick Foley was duped into being an unwilling participant in Shane's ouster. Stephanie used her power and influence to install HERSELF as new BCCW GM. But before she could settle into the throne, Commissioner Foley used pro-wrestling logic and the court of public opinion to launch one last ditch effort to regain control of the ship. Commissioner Foley and Shane McMahon want to reinstall the honor and direction of BCCW as a business enterprise and founding father of Mash-Up Wrestling. Hence the formation of the "Slaughter Series" - our annual "Best of 7" contest between both brands... "Team Stephanie vs. Team Shane". Now the sides have aligned in what amounts to be a Mash-Up Wrestling version of "The Shield vs. The Clique" with the very future of BCCW at stake. Shane wants to continue on his mission to merge BCCW into more of a hybrid shoot-fighting style reminiscent of golden-era Mid South Wrestling or Pride Fighting. With an emphasis on "workrate" and athletic competition. Stephanie meanwhile wants to continue the legacy of her father's "Sportz Entertainment" model, and get herself over more as a Media darling and Hollywood sensation than any kind of sports hero. Will BCCW become just another vanity project under her control? Or something else entirely? Many fans are scared to find out. All-important Match #7 of this historic drama goes down TONIGHT! Stay tuned! ** DARK MATCH **
Matthew Riddle (2018) def. Antonio Thomas (2005)
[Middleweight Grudge Match]** Mash-Up Wrestling Hall of Fame Induction 2017 **
LOU THESZ (1955)!-- cut 2 ring --
______________________________________________________________________ ** Vacant Flyweight Title Finals **Neville (2017) def. Tye Dillinger (2017)Finn Balor had been on the rise in BCCW, peaking as Flyweight Champion. Unfortunately Balor suffered a shoulder injury during his title defense at "Scene of the Crime" and had to give up the belt. Now the Flyweight division has been reset with an 8-Man Invitation-only tournament to crown a new champion, culminating with these two finalists: Bitter Neville (raging at sacrificing his body for BCCW against heavier opponents and not receiving adequate remuneration) vs. "Perfect 10" Tye Dillinger (surprise entrant and reigning WCW Cruiserweight champion!) Huge crossover appearance here! Only in Mash-Up Wrestling and only from BCCW! Scintillating opening bout reminiscent of a hard-fought NXT classic! Tye Dillinger is the plucky underdog, but in the end Neville proves to be on another level - squashing Dillinger for the pin and taking BOTH Championship belts with him!... the newly-crowned BCCW Flyweight title *and* the WCW Cruiserweight Championship! Neville considers himself King of ALL the Flyweight wrestlers!
Winner (and **NEW** Flyweight Champion): NEVILLE (2017)-- cut to commentator recap / summary --______________________________________________________________________ Black Panther (??) def. Rick Martel (1986)
(Heavyweight Bout)Black Panther is a mysterious masked-figure unrelated to the Marvel comics character. In this BCCW universe, Black Panther is a real character with familiar yet unrecognizable attributes. Strong male 6'2 to 6'7ish. Anywhere from 220 to 250 lbs. Wrestles with straightforward old-school aggression like Matt Classic (Wrestling Society X) or William Regal. BCCW Black Panther burst into the picture at "Scene of the Crime" when he was revealed as John Cena's mystery attacker. Nobody knows who he is, though everybody has an opinion. Opposite him tonight is AWA-era Rick Martel who earned even more recent valor with his showing against Seth Rollins in a "Best 2 out of 3 Falls" bout at "Scene of the Crime". Tonight, the Panther puts away Martel after an impressive showing (including a Cesaro-like "Giant Swing" that totaled 13 complete rotations before Panther let Martel fly). Black Panther is on the prowl in BCCW, and he has reigning BCCW Heavyweight Champion John Cena in his sights!!
-- cut to video promo / vignettes -- ______________________________________________________________________ "Broken" Matt Hardy vs. Bray Wyatt
(Clockwork Orange Massacre)Both men spent all month haunting each other through various vignettes and soliliques, helping make this feud go viral. Classic TNA-era Broken Matt sketches on the ranch where he regained his memory and chanelled his aggression upon cult Bray. What started as a near-religious disagreement over the symbolic meaning of the Icon STING turned into a bloody and personal jihad. During the course of the build-up, Bray took out Brother Nero, leaving Broken Matt to face Bray alone here tonight (Broken Matt later returned the favor by taking out Luke Harper with a harpoon net). Now they battle to the doom with a hardcore assortment of weaponry at their disposal. Both men bleed. Fans chant "THIS IS AWESOME!" and "BCCW!" at certain intervals. In the end, both men crash to extinction off a tower of ladder through a death trap of tables/chairs/barbed wire and other hardcore accouterments. Neither man can recover, and eventually both are carted out on stretchers. Some critics can complain about their biggest card of the year blow off being a non-decisive unfinish - but the live fans more than appreciated the effort both men gave tonight. Especially considering this match is actually the turning point for Broken Matt to turn WOKEN over the summer and actually form a TEAM with the madman Bray Wyatt! Stay tuned!
[No Finish]
-- cut to stunned commentator recap & summary -- ______________________________________________________________________ ** BCCW 6-Man Tag Team Titles **American Alpha [Jordan & Gable + Shelton Benjamin]
def. Beer Money Intl © [JBL + Storm & Roode]
[BCCW 6-Man Tag Team Titles]Beer Money Intl has been a red-hot heel trio based around their pro-Trump "Make BCCW great again" mythos. Their version of America (and in turn, the 6-Man Tag Team title scene) has been one of monopolistic greed and condescending bullying. JBL flaunts his Canadian and International superiority over anything that's Made in the USA today - namely American Alpha. The 6-Man BCCW version consisting of Jason Jordan & Chad Gable (2017) + Shelton Benjamin (2007). *THEIR* version of America is blue-collar hard work with unwavering belief in oneself. American Alpha has been chasing the 6-Man straps in an uphill struggle, made even worse by the ascension of Stephanie McMahon to BCCW powerbroker. Now Beer Money Intl has suckled onto Stephanie's administration like barnacles, with JBL hoping to earn a favorable position in her cabinet. JBL pledged his teams allegiance to Stephanie, even after it was revealed that she was behind the Canadian Outlaw strikes that plagued BCCW over the winter. But one person disagreed with this blind subservience - Bobby Roode, of Beer Money Intl. Roode is NOT pleased with the idea of being caught in the crossfires of political sibling warfare - especially when Beer Money Intl and their precious 6-Man straps were nearly collateral damage (Canadian Outlaws stable targeted Beer Money Intl in some of their random attacks). The subtle dissension between Roode & JBL (with Storm caught in the middle) plays out over the course of the match tonight, ultimately allowing American Alpha to use their well-oiled teamwork to exploit the fissures in Beer Money Intl. BOOM! "Grand Amplitude" to Storm (after JBL accidentally took out Roode with a "Clothesline from Hell") by American Alpha picks up the pinfall! Finally! American Alpha have won the 6-Man titles! Right here in Boston at the biggest show of the year! "BiB2017!"
Winners (and *NEW* 6-Man Tag Team Champions): AMERICAN ALPHA-- cut to video recap / summary / postmatch interview with the new champions - followed by dejected losers (the friction between JBL & Roode explodes!) -- ______________________________________________________________________ Mickie James (2005) def. Brie Bella (2015)
(w/ Nikki Bella special referee)Brie has spent the last few weeks of her return in confusion over the sneak attack that originally shelved her. Meanwhile suspicions fall upon newly-arrived Mickie James, who quickly ingrated herself to Nikki to become BFFs. James built "Team Nikki & Mickie" around the premise that Brie is jealous of them and trying to sabotage her own sisters rise to success in BCCW. Thus this match was signed with a reluctant Nikki thrust right into the middle. Exciting match between the two, with Mickie pulling subtle heel tactics - Brie getting fired up - and Nikki struggling to call the match fair. Eventually, a turnbuckle pad removed by Mickie during the course of the match turns out to be the difference maker - as Nikki was distracted fixing it, she completely missed the eye-rake / Chick Kick combo that nearly took poor Brie's head off! Nikki had no choice but to count the pinfall over her unfortunate sister, while Mickie used the "win" to prove her innocence and dedication to being Nikki's "BFF"... which would shortly start to include Mickie dying her hair black and wearing backwards baseball caps like Nikki too.... To be continued.
-- cut to video promos and package for epic Sting/Undertaker BCCW feud --______________________________________________________________________ Sting (1997) def. Undertaker (1997)
(Supernatural Heavyweight Grudge Match)Undertaker Entrance with the Vulture. Sting Entrance with the Crow. Undertaker claims no allegiance other than to himself and his darkside principles. Those beliefs were violated by happy-go-lucky Neon Icon STING and his exuberant buoyancy. So Undertaker acted by attacking Sting and dragging him to Hell at "Scene of the Crime" - literally burying Sting's career in a casket once and for all. Undertaker thought it was finished, until he was plagued by a rash of pop-up Crow Sting sightings in various arenas around the country. Eventually it was revealed that Surfer Sting was indeed dead and buried - but in his stead, Crow Sting was resurrected! The original Savior of WCW returns from the Darkside to tackle Undertaker head-on in immortal Mash-Up Wrestling combat! Revenge match for Sting who proves tonight - on the anniversary of his ascension into the Mash-Up Wrestling Hall of Fame - that he is indeed the one true ICON. Sting kicks out of a Tombstone piledriver by mimicking the Zombie sit-up no-sell, which completely mesmerizes Undertaker. One steel chair-assisted "Stinger Splash" later (followed by a Reverse DDT from Sting to Taker onto the same chair) and Taker rolls out of the ring, not to return! It looks like Undertaker can clearly make it back into the ring by the 7-count... but chooses not to! In the final touch of true Heel heat, Undertaker balks at returning to the ring and takes the countout loss instead! BIG BOOS for that - until Sting literally chases Undertaker down on the Entrance Ramp and bashes him into oblivion with the steel chair! Sting is left alone in the ring to soak in his spotlight on the biggest show of the year! Regardless of what happens in our Main Event tonight, Sting will remain a vigilante for justice within in BCCW!!!
Winner (via countout): STING!!-- commentator recap and summary / backstage interviews with Champion & Challenger coming up next! -- ______________________________________________________________________ ** Mash-Up Wrestling WORLD Championship **Brock Lesnar (2017) def. Diamond Dallas Page (1999)
[Heavyweight Bout]Ladies and gentlemen.... BROCK LESNAR swoops in for another historic, climate-altering victory tonight in our co-Main Event. Another cross-promotional masterpiece that came together under the auspices of GM Stephanie McMahon and her husband HHH (who has a controlling stake in the new WCW Mash-Up Wrestling franchise). DDP is the massively-over babyface homegrown underdog with a serious chip on his shoulder. Plus he has the "Diamond Cutter" - which has clearly been established as a split-second absolute finisher. Nonetheless it is Lesnar who bullrushes all false pretenses to put his emphatic stamp on this encounter. One F5 later we have one clear-cut winner, as Brock Lesnar now holds both the Mash-Up Wrestling WORLD Championship *and* WCW title.
It was assumed that Lesnar would bring prestige and acclaim to the WCW title while making more appearances for the fledgling brand. Rumors state WCW Executive Eric Bischoff was actually promised a bigger stake in the company and a chair on the Mash-Up Wrestling committee for feeding his champion to Lesnar... instead, Heyman Hustle and Gold Dust Trio Inc. (namely Strangler Lewis who sold Lesnar's BCCW appearance contract to Heyman - in a move we will examine later) held the title hostage and helped drive WCW back into insolvency and extinction once again. Is it no coincidence that the only person within the WCW hierarchy that benefited from this was HHH, who sold his stake for a hefty percentage and laughed his way to the bank with all the defunct trademarks and intellectual property? We think not. It's actually all part of Team Stephanie's goal to consolidate the Mash-Up Wrestling power base and install themselves at the top. To be continued...

[Match #7]Team Stephanie McMahon[Roman Reigns © / Seth Rollins © / Ethan Carter 3rd / Kevin FN Owens / Triple H (mystery partner)]
versus
Team Shane McMahon[Shane McMahon / John Cena © / HBK Shawn Michaels / Big Daddy Cool Diesel / AJ Styles]
[5-on-5 Elimination Rules Tag Team Bout]In the end it all comes down to this. It was a winding, twisted road to the doorstep of BiB2017 tonight. "Superstar" Billy Graham was originally scheduled to be part of Team Stephanie but after an undisclosed behind-the-scenes blowout between the two, Graham quit the team and stormed out of BCCW for good. That left Stephanie without a 5th member, but she promised to unveil her choice when the time was right. That time happened to be tonight, when her husband (and part-owner of WCW + UWF Authority) HHH was revealed as the mystery partner. For months these two warring factions traded victories and one-ups upon each other, selling more tickets each time they clashed. ** Best of 7 "Slaughter Series" Results **Match #1

[Xtreme Rulez Bout]Match #6
BCCW Heavyweight Champion John Cena (2017) def. Acadian Giant & Killer Karl Krupp
[Handicap Bout]Match #7:The Atmosphere is electric, and the commentators Solie & MSD have relived all the history that brought us to this point. Match is an exciting back-and-forth affair with multiple storylines interconnecting.
AJ Styles (#1) is the first elimination (after "accidentally" catching a Sweet Chin Music from HBK) and landing in HHH's pedigree for the pinfall.
HBK (#2) is eliminated next, after angrily protesting to the referee and being SMASHED with a Flying Knee / Curb Stomp combo from Seth Rollins for the pin! BCCW Heavyweight Champion John Cena steps up to score the first elimination for his team when he hits the FUAA on
Kevin FN Owens (#3). Next up, KO's running buddy in the Canadian Outlaws (Acadian Giant aka Kurrgan) attempted a run-in, but was quickly dispatched by Cena & Diesel. That massive distraction helped in part to score the next elimination for Team Shane, as Diesel nearly took
EC3 (#4)'s head off with a big boot for the pin! We're down to Shane / Cena / Diesel vs. Rollins / Reigns / HHH.
BCCW Television champion
Roman Reigns (#5) and
Diesel (#6) are the next to go, as they get caught up in an Xtreme brawl that cannot be pulled apart! Both men are counted out as they brawl all the way backstage! Stephanie McMahon (still watching on from ringside) is NOT pleased! BCCW Heavyweight Champion
John Cena (#7) winds up getting his nose busted by Seth Rollins, en-route to a wicked *SLEDGEHAMMER* shot from HHH that ends his night! John Cena is eliminated! That leaves BCCW Middleweight Champion Seth Rollins & HHH against Shane McMahon for control of the company! Bring it on! Suddenly... it's SWERVE CITY as we enter the end game...
HHH actually blindsides his own partner Seth Rollins and BLASTS him with a pedigree, allowing Shane McMahon to pick up the pinfall and eliminate Rollins! WTF!? Has HHH swerved his wife and sided with Shane McMahon all along! The eye contact between HHH and Stephanie at ringside is so tense you can cut it with a KNIFE! BUT NO! After lulling Shane into a false sense of security - (and having the crowd buzzing) - HHH sneak attacks Shane with a lowblow / Pedigree combo for the pin! NOOOO! HHH has done it! He has triumphantly rode back into BCCW on his big white horse and WON the company for his wife Stephanie McMahon!! Winners (and NEW General Manager of BCCW): TEAM PRINCESS!![Fade Out]
