BCCW TV Episode #91 (Origins)
LIVE from the BCCW Slaughtahouse in Brockton MA
Attendance: 13740
Happy belated New Year & holidaze-cheer for all! I'm behind on the calendar, yet I'm never late (check the time stamp). I can't believe we've made it through another season of spectacular Mash-Up innovation. Seems like only yesterday I was still booking matches for my GI Joe collection during math class. Fast forward through years of backyard wrestling, followed by arm-chair quarterbacking and now this - the pinnacle of Fight-Fiction itself. "Broken City Championship Wrestling"; the result of a hundred years of research and lineages encompassing every angle of the game, from MMA to 'wrasslin and back to sportz entertainment again. This is dedication. This is devotion. This is LOVE. This is Mash-Up Wrestling and this is something we all share together. Salute to a new season of spills, thrills & chills! From the 1st Episode of the calendar year for BCCW!
But first - here's a quick origin story on the title "MadStepDad". No, it has nothing to do with children or being angry. So let me summarize. The story begins in the early 90s, when I was reigning Game-Master of the year in my hood. One day we were in a very intense session when young Jack X kept getting annoying phonecalls from some girl in his class who wouldn't leave him alone. Phone calls that were disrupting the flow of our precious game. So, being the leader, and the guy with the deepest voice in the room, I got on the phone the last time and read this girl the riot act. Telling her I was Jack's stepdad and that I was VERY MAD she kept calling the house and acting immature! Cut the nonsense immediately! The phone calls ceased, the laughs began and since that day, "MadStepDad" has stood for dedication to the GAME! Or as the great Chip Chimney once wrote...
"MAD-StepDad but not angry one bit..."
That folks, is the Origin Story of the "MadStepDad" name. Live from the What Would U Do Crew clubhouse where Mash-Up Wrestling is the game. Enjoy the show.

"Powerhouse" Frank Sexton (1942) def. Sheamus (2017)
[Heavyweight Bout]
Entrance & Theme of "Powerhouse" Sexton to start the show (HUGE pop!) with a promo, where he puts over "The Variant Edition PPV" & the Heavyweight Championship bout in particular. Sexton appears to be ready to formally announce who he will challenge as #1 Contender, when he is cut off by the Entrance & Theme of Heel loner Sheamus. One brief interlude on the microphone leads to the following encounter, in which Sexton reminds the world why he is one of wrestling's finest Historical prospects. The former 2x BCCW Heavyweight champion Sexton finishes Sheamus (another ex-BCCW HW Champion himself) with a Cesaro-like "Giant Swing", followed by a "Sedalia Cyclone" (Roman Reigns-like Superman punch) for the pin! But the big news comes postmatch, when Sexton finally completes his announcement by calling out -- BROCK FN LESNAR! -- Big pop! Sexton is the Wild Wild West lawman who will finally tame the Beast - IF Brock has the guts to accept his challenge @ "NYR2017!"
Is "Powerhouse" Frank Sexton crazy!? Or just the man to end Brock Lesnar's fearsome WORLD title reign for good!? Stay tuned to see if Paul Heyman & Brock Lesnar will accept!

"Wyatt Era"
Entrance & Theme of Bray Wyatt and his "Family" (consisting of Luke Harper / Braun Strowman / *NEW* Nikita Koloff, who took the place of injured Erick Rowan). Video recap and creepy promo from Bray centering around his "burial" of STING at "The Variant Edition PPV". All the insane chattering leads to a creepy visual display, in which the spirit of Sting apparently "raises from the dead" to torment the Wyatts.
It starts with a lone Sting impersonator showing up in a beam of light, only to be swallowed by the Wyatt Family in a gang beating. But then another "Sting" shows up. Then another. And another, until all these "Stings" are sprouting like dandelions - frustrating Bray Wyatt beyond belief! This rage consumes all of them until they are ransacking ringside and destroying the set! Finally security intervenes and Bobby Lashley shows up to get a piece of the action for himself! Either way, it's clear that Sting is inside the head of the master psychologist himself, Bray Wyatt!

Braun Strowman (2017) def. Bobby Lashley (2017)
[Impromptu Heavyweight Bout]
versus
This match is an off-shoot of the prior encounter, and commences immediately after our return from commercial break. Super-Heavyweight Titanic Clash and mini-WWE vs. TNA contemporary Dream Match. Both men battle to a near-stalemate, but we're living in the "Wyatt Era" now - so eventually the numbers game catches up with Blaster Lashley. Crazy Luke Harper reappears to spike Bobby Lashley (referee sight unseen) with a Big Boot to the face and send him directly into a Braun Strowman Head/Arm vise into-a-reverse chokeslam for the pin! Strowman is the Monster Heel tonight, but somebody else appears post-segment that can out-crazy the Wyatt's themselves!...

"Broken" Matt Hardy (2016) def. Luke Harper (2016)
[Heavyweight Grudge Match]
Continuing our trend of impromptu ECW-like medley of segments melding into contemporary Fantasy Wrestling Dream Matches. In this case it's another mix of TNA vs. WWE, all occurring under the great banner of "BCCW!" After a serviceable bout between the two die-hard BCCW rivals, Broken Matt ducks a big boot-attempt from Harper and deletes him with a "Twist of Fate" for the pin! After all the dust settles, we are left with Broken Matt & Brother Nero holding court in the center of the ring, while an irate Bray Wyatt and Family stares them down from the Entrance ramp (and continue to watch the rafters for Sting with great paranoia!!) Broken Matt & Brother Nero will DELETE the "Wyatt Era" in BCCW! DELETE! DELETE! DELETE!!

"Money in the Bank"
Backstage interview segment with BCCW 6-Man Tag Team Champions Beer Money Intl turns heated when the topic of politics comes up (particularly immigration status). Anytime JBL and team are on the mic it turns into a hostile work environment!
Which leads to a little tete-a-tete between loud-mouthed Beer Money Intl, and the foreign-born "Model" Rick Martel, followed by his Heart Throbz team of Romeo & Antonio. Words exchange and the Heart Throbs vow to prove they belong in BCCW. #1 Contender Bout next BCCW Fight Night Special! Stay tuned!

AJ Styles def. Harvard Chris Nowinski
[Middleweight Bout]
"Harvard" Chris Nowinski is in the ring to start with an aggrandizing promo disparaging the local Brockton Boxers... rogue 'tweener AJ Styles earns the fans cheers when he bumrushes the ring (through the audience) in his street clothes to thoroughly beat Harvard Chris in another impromptu bout tonight... Angry AJ Styles takes the win for the sole purpose of expressing his discontent on a live mic during the winners portion postmatch. AJ Styles is disgusted by the games in politics in BCCW (starting right at the top with GM Shane McMahon & Commissioner Mick Foley) and within his own group of "friends" (ex-stablemates in "Bullet Proof"). AJ Styles demands a one-on-one rematch against Roman Reigns for the Television Title, and we're interrupted by the Entrance & Theme of TV Champ Roman Reigns himself!
Cocky & arrogant [Heel] Roman Reigns *DECLINES* AJ Styles and rebuffs any future challenges for his TV title until he himself fights Brock Lesnar once and for all for the WORLD Title! Roman Reigns scoffs at BCCW in comparison to WWE, and remarks that he would rather be in the Royal Rumble than compete at "New Years Revolution 2017" for BCCW! Big boos for Roman Reigns, but he's holding the Television title hostage in a political standoff between two companies! Who really has the juice in Broken City Championship Wrestling!?

"War of the Worlds"
Backstage segment filmed shoot-style. It starts with a shoving match in the hallway between Lana & Alexxis Nevaeh, and finishes in the BCCW board room where GM Shane McMahon & Commissioner Foley are deliberating the fallout from "The Variant Edition PPV" as we head into "NYR2017". The board room is stormed by a hostile Kevin FN Owens (alongside Rusev + Lana) who plan on taking Shane & Foley hostage (if not worse) - until an enraged Steve "Crusher" Casey & Booker T rush to their rescue! Even BCCW Middleweight champion Eddie Edwards winds up getting involved, on account of defending his girlfriend Alexxis Nevaeh's honor! A wild fracas erupts that literally demolishes the BCCW board room, and requires the assistance of security and off-duty police to shut down! Neville! Killer Karl Kox! OH NO, the Acadian Giant!! This is an absolute RAMPAGE! GM Shane McMahon & Commissioner Foley have no recourse but to sanction a massive fire-fight at "NYR2017"... Team BCCW vs. Canadian Outlaws! Elimination Tag Team Bout!

Hosted by (the *RETURNING* to BCCW)...
MadStepDad!!
MSD: Welcome to the Main Event Hot Seat, where we sign the contract for our epic Heavyweight Championship Rematch @ "NYR2017!" Superstar, you intend to make another run at John Cena's BCCW Heavyweight Championship, yet you've already failed once [at "The Variant Edition PPV"]. Why do you think you'll be more successful this time?
"Superstar" GRAHAM: I don't think, I know it! I beat him in most of the matches we wrestled! He got a few breaks which must have cost him a pretty penny, but you expect referees to be in the bag. I consider my past matches learning experience. I now know exactly what it takes to kill Cena! Mapped out the perfect strategy! Oh Cena's belt will look good around my waist! I'll be even prettier than I am now, if such a thing is possible. How can you improve on perfection?
MSD: If we can forget your physical splendor for a moment, I'd still like to talk about wrestling. You've called Cena things alternating between "washed-up has-been" to "up-and-coming wannabe"...
JOHN CENA: Son, I became a veteran the day after I debuted. People wasn't taking me seriously, but now they recognizing!
MSD: But surely John, even you can see that Superstar Graham holds the advantage in ring experience...
JOHN CENA: Yeah he's got more experience than I do, but I don't sweat him. I'm not scared of his legend, his fury... You know what? Seriously though, he's someone that I've tried to model myself after. A competition between him and I would be like Darth Vader vs Obi-Wan Kenobi.
"Superstar" GRAHAM: Facts are facts. There can be no other logical explanation.
MSD: Well it certainly seems logical, in the grand scope of Mash-Up Wrestling and historical counterparts, that you two would ultimately find yourselves on opposite sides of the ring.
JOHN CENA: And you know what? If I struck him down, I, too would become even more powerful than you can possibly imagine.
MSD: Your last title match at "The Variant Edition" ended in a count-out loss for the Champ John Cena...
"Superstar" GRAHAM: Look you don't get to my ranking in a sport because you choke! I've beaten the best all over the world! I make more than $250,000 a year. You don't get where I am today by folding under pressure!
MSD: Pressure turns coal into diamonds. Somebody who knows more about pressure than anybody in the business is "da Champ" himself John Cena...
JOHN CENA: I got my ass whipped from the time I was eight years old. I've never been afraid to go toe-to-toe with anybody! I'm not saying that I could whoop everybody's ass, but I've never backed down from a battle. Yeah as a kid, I lost many more than I won, but I still never backed down.
MSD: Mister Graham, pardon the pun - but you were a "Superstar" in Canada, winning the AGPW Championship. You've won countless other illustrious titles during your run as well. You're targeting the BCCW Heavyweight Championship, but why now?
"Superstar" GRAHAM: So I can stop people from saying stupid things like I fold under pressure. A man's reputation is immortal, living on long after he's dead. I want history to say Billy Graham was the greatest! I don't want any "buts" to destroy my legend. That's why I have to win the title. History demands it!
JOHN CENA: Believe it or not, I may have started a trend! This is a chance for everyone to represent. Everybody wearing a lock and chain is saying that they have their lives under control. When I come down to the ring, I got shit under control. I'm holding shit down!
MSD: Speaking of "holding shit down", what about the rampant rumors you're using backstage clout to "hold down" the Heavyweight division...
JOHN CENA: Man, I've held more shit down than another other Superstar! I've been holding shit down since way back in the day; people just didn't recognize it. They took me as a joke. Now they're recognizing that I'm not giving up and that I got skills. I've finally been given a chance to represent myself and to educate the world...
"Superstar" GRAHAM: It'll look best if I'M the man who beats John Cena! That's going to do a lot for somebody's reputation, and it might as well be mine! For me, this is the right time to be here. Even corrupt referees can't save him anymore!
MSD: Can either one of you speak on your individual strategies heading into our epic rematch at "New Years Revolution 2017?"
"Superstar" GRAHAM: Well I won't get into specifics. You don't have the intelligence to understand me! But I can tell you a few generalities. I'll be depending on my strength mostly. However, my phenomenal speed will also be used to great advantage! Many people don't appreciate how swift my movements are. They'll sure learn quickly enough! Watch out for my speed! Of course, it'll be too fast to do anything about it! But it'll be nice to know what finished you!
JOHN CENA: Well there is an advanced course in "Thuganomics" but I don't know if anyone can handle it yet. Maybe I'll reveal it when I reach legendary status..."
"Superstar" GRAHAM: I don't know what you're talking about! I'm treated like a champion! I feel like a champion! I'm going to be a champion soon! Bet on it! I plan great changes! First of all, when I enter an arena I expect the fans to fall to their knees! Then I want to have final say over my opponents and the referees!
MSD: Ok ok, this is getting a little too intense. We need to wrap this up!
JOHN CENA: What? You're wondering when I plan on becoming a WWE Legend? Let me tell you something; I'm on fire ya heard?? I'll be a legend, just give me two weeks [until NYR2017!!]
