proudly presents...NIGHT of CHAMPIONS 2016
from Oakland CA!

"Batman vs. Superman"We saw this movie opening night with Jax and his crew, and while not being the *best* move I've ever seen, it was far from boring and didn't feel long at all. Somewhat disjointed and confusing (to simple-minded non fans such as myself), and way too fantastic for my liking (typical of a DC product, which is why I've always subtly preferred Marvel). Though my favorite aspect of the movie was the nationwide furor over Superman leading to philosophical and religious debates. That certainly seems like a somewhat "realistic" approach to something as ridiculously out-of-this-world as Superman. Plus I like Ben Affleck so you won't get that automatic reaction of hate from me due to his involvement here. Overall it did pique my interest slightly in the whole "versus" superhero genre, which would ultimately explode in "Civil War". More to come on that later.
But for now, sit back relax & enjoy the BCCW version of an epic "Superman vs Batman" clash when "LIGHT" (HW Champion Frank Sexton) clashes with "DARK" (the brooding Mil Muertes & his poisonous valet Catrina!) The reigning and undisputed WORLD CHAMPION of ALL FANTASY-WRESTLING & Fight-Fiction, the "Nature Boy" Ric Flair will defend the most important title in the game against the Roman Empire, ROMAN REIGNS! All that and so much more, on the one night/year when ALL Championships are defended!! Broken City Championship Wrestling by MadStepDad proudly presents... Night of Champions 2016! ** Cut to video hype / promo / Solie & Striker intro **

Davey Richards © w/ Alexxis def.
Art Barr w/ Shelley vs.
Adam Cole w/ SablePerfect mix of art, drama, expertise & azz. Story of the match ping pongs from Sable pu$$y-whipping Adam Cole to Art Barr and fiery Shelley Martinez coming to odds themselves. In the end, "American Wolf" Davey Richards displays expert form - Alexxis nearly steals the show with her climatic showdown opposite Sable - and Adam Cole gets ground into the mat and tapped out! Davey Richards retains his title for "Bullet Proof!" After that shine, our big post-match angle takes place between Sable and Adam Cole, who finally disintegrate into a shoving, pushing match before Sable *SLAPS* Adam Cole in the face and knees him in the crotch! OOOOOO! Adam Cole is left writhing in pain on the mat while Sable signs off with two middle-fingers! PS - there goes more of Ric Flair's back-up for the night! The World Champion is working with less and less cronies here in BCCW!
** cut to PPV countdown & preview **_____________________________________________________________** Money-in-the-Bank Ladder Match **
Sheamus vs. Gino Hernandez vs. Crusher Casey vs. MVP vs. Booker T vs. Ivan Koloff (w/ Lana)Perfect all-star studded Demolition Derby to set the PPV portion off proper. All 6 men are BCCW veterans with their own intertwined angles & agendas. TNA MVP & WCW Booker T continue their heated street rivalry. Ex-League of Nation comrades Sheamus & Ivan Koloff battle over betrayal, and BCCW legend Crusher Casey remains in the thick of each fray. Meanwhile, the wildly popular Gino Hernandez continues his upward ascension ever since splitting from Ric Flair and challenging him for the WORLD title at WWEFan Wrestlemania 3. Tonight Gino aims to win the bout and cash in the contract for another match against Flair. But all of our carefully-laid plans go up in smoke with the arrival of an explosive new force... Enter
Seth Rollins 2016 (super mega-pop)!!!! He appears out of nowhere - cuts Gino off right before he can win the match - and *CURB STOMPS* Gino into oblivion!!! From one chapter to the next! OMG Seth Rollins has retrieved the MitB briefcase!!! This place is going crazy!! But what does this mean for BCCW?? Is this even legal??
Seth freakin Rollins steals certain victory from the grasp of Gino Hernandez!!
--Video recap / commentators are agog / backstage correspondent Renee Young vows to get answers --_____________________________________________________________** Middleweight Championship **
"Diehard" Eddie Edwards © vs. Adrian NevilleTraditional "Dream Match" in the Ring of Honor mold. Both men respect each other tremendously and it shows. But that never for one second detracts from the ferocity in which these two competitors clash. Neville more than lives up to the immense hype of his initial BCCW debut, even though he doesn't win tonight. Instead Edwards finishes Neville off a top rope miss and confirms the superiority of BCCW wrestlers over any others in the Mash-Up universe....
Winner (and STILL Middleweight Champion): EDDIE EDWARDS** CUT BACKSTAGE **
-- After some investigation, Commissioner Foley learns the disturbing truth - Seth Rollins is in fact on the BCCW roster, and his MitB "victory" shall stand. But who let Seth Rollins into BCCW, and signed a secretive contract under shadow of night?? Commissioner Foley has a theory that may be even more disturbing than the last... --** Cut 2 Ring **
_____________________________________________________________** Woman's Title **
Charlotte Flair © vs. NatalyaExtra special shout out to Mash-Up Wrestling co-founder Slade who made the intercontinental voyage to Wrestlemania and shared those exciting details. It is also a proud tradition of BCCW Night of Champions to include a cameo from AGPW. So on with the show!Brie Bella helps chase the Woman's Champion Charlotte right back out of BCCW! #BellaArmy wants a title shot!!** CUT BACKSTAGE **
Confirming most suspicions (but leaving room for wonder... or "fear"), new BCCW GM Shane McMahon does indeed confirm the prior signing of Seth Rollins. The reason for secrecy? There's a war going on outside no man is safe from. Shane McMahon is building an Empire starting with BCCW, and the Seth Rollins signing is just the first warning shot. We may be in for an even *bigger* surprise later tonight, Shane teases. "Happy Anniversary"... ** cut 2 ring **
_____________________________________________________________Bobby Lashley vs. Superstar Graham (DEBUT!!)
(Heavyweight Bout)Classic "power" match, with a variety of strongman moves, poses & lifts. Tests of strength and even bearhugs abound (causing scattered cries of "BORING!" from some lame drunken fans who can't wait for the TLC Match). As the only "non-title" match on the card, this bout still radiates Heavyweight hierarchy. Lashley is a force in BCCW, and former multi-time Titleist across boundaries. But tonight he serves as the launching pad for a new tye-died rocket about to blast off into BCCW outerspace. The SUPAHSTAH, baybee! After rocking Superstar with a series of body blows that had him wilting in the corner, Lashley was being restrained by the referee. So the cagey veteran Superstar Graham scooped Lashley by the legs and pinned him with his feet on the ropes for illegal leverage, unbeknownst to the ref!
"I am the sensation of the nation! The #1 creation!!”Winner: SUPERSTAR GRAHAM!!-- cut to recap & electrifying post-match promo from the Superstar!! --_____________________________________________________________** BCCW 6-Man Tag Team Titles **
The New Day © vs. Doom 2.0 vs. Hardy Boyz
[TLC Match!!]Showcase bout for all 3 teams, who unleash the stunts & anarchy very quickly. Tables break, ladders bend and chairs clash! All the while, Doom 2.0 valet Woman remains a constant meddling nuisance, until Lita has enough and takes Woman OUT with a moonsault from a ladder to the arena floor!!! (HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!!) This leaves the door open for Booty O's to retain their titles, but the "future" clearly lies with the Hardy Boyz & Lita... Brace yourself for the next series of Dream Match clashes for BCCW's coveted 6-Man straps!!!
Winner (and STILL 6-Man Tag Team Champions): THE NEW DAY (2016)** cut 2 music video recap to the rise of "Bullet Proof" in BCCW **_____________________________________________________________** BCCW TV Title **
AJ Styles © vs. Kevin FN Owens
(Catchweight Bout)Winner (and STILL Television Champion): AJ STYLES (2016)
** Cut 2 Frank Sexton promo / creepy Muertes & Catrina vignette **_____________________________________________________________** BCCW Heavyweight Championship **
"Powerhouse" Frank Sexton (1946) © vs. Mil Muertes (2016) w/ Catrina"Prince Puma" = Frank SextonMinus the top-rope dives from Sexton, his "Powerhouse" moniker is on apt display - as is the ferocious fighting spirit, and cinematography of BCCW. But as you can bear witness, darkness has overtaken the BCCW Heavyweight division...
Winner... and *NEW* Heavyweight Champion: MIL MUERTES!!
** cut to video recap / stunned crowd reaction / somber Commentary analysis of what this means for the future of BCCW **_____________________________________________________________** WORLD Championship **Ric Flair (1986) © vs. Roman Reigns (2016)
[Heavyweight Bout] vs.
Oakland Athletic Commission is on hand for the Title fight (per ordinances from the Flair camp earlier in the month). Ric Flair is greeted by the voracious fans of BCCW in Oakland like a Conquering Hero. Confetti, pyro, lasers and streamers. Contrast that with the vitriol Roman Reigns (2016) inspires from the same crowd and you've got a recipe for an explosive Dream Match! Flair whoos and struts and primps, while Reigns absolutely no-sells everything Flair throws at him! Reigns is not in a playful mood tonight, and immediately starts hurling Flair from pillar-to-post and scoring a nearfall off a powerful clothesline! Suplexes - Press slams - shouldertackles! Flair comes back with some forearms but still no affect against the cold, calculating "Big Daddy Diesel-lite" Roman Reigns. Flair is forced to escape and discuss strategy with his ringside Svengali and JJ Dillon-equivalent,
STRANGLER LEWIS. Roman Reigns simply bashes both their heads together and continues his reckless assault upon Flair!
Eventually Flair takes over on the floor after a crucial distraction from Strangler Lewis. Flair bangs Reigns face off the steel ring posts, actually drawing BLOOD from the "Hound of Justice!" Now back inside the ring, Flair is going to school on the leg/knee of Reigns. WHOOOOO! Stretches, kicks & knee drops. Flair hits a suplex but gets only a 2-count. Now back in the corner, Flair lights Reigns up with chops but it only seems to invigorate the big man! Reigns reverses Flair into the corner and pummels him, leading to a classic Flair flop! Flair begs away but eats another 10 punches in the corner! Now Flair is busted open too! It's a bloody BCCW Main Event Dream Match! Flair fights out of the corner with an Atomic Drop, but it misses the mark and Reigns flattens him with another clothesline! BAM! Reigns sets him up for the Superman punch, but his knee buckles! Suddenly Flair is all over him like a rabid dog, tearing into the leg and knee! It all climaxes in a Flair Figure-4 leglock! WHOOOOO! Blood is pouring from Roman's contorted face as he screams and hollers! Strangler Lewis even reaches in to grab Flair's hands and pull back, giving added (illegal) leverage! But the fans love it! The referee finally sees it though, and calls for the break! (Big BOOS from the BCCW faithful on that one!)
Flair uses this opportunity to head up to the top rope, but of course Reigns recovers enough to pitch him right off the top! Now a limping Roman Reigns is making a Superhuman comeback! Flair flip in the corner off an Irish-whip (shout out to Danno O'Mahoney!) But still only a 2-count on the World Champion! The crowd is going crazy, booing Roman's every move! Strangler Lewis reacts by retrieving a metal folding chair, like he's going to slide it into the ring for Flair. But the referee stops him at the last moment. Now the Oakland Athletic Commissioner is waving frantically to get the referee's attention! Inside the ring, Reigns hits a SPEAR and hoists Flair up over his shoulders in a titanic "Torture Rack" attempt! Flair is like a rag-doll in Roman's grasp! Referee calls for the bell! Fans instantly BOO the submission finish!!
-- but wait! --
Further review shows the Oakland Athletic Commissioner conferring with the ref right before he called for the bell... apparently this match has been *STOPPED* due to excessive blood loss! WHAT!? Suddenly the fans CHEER the decision like they just won the NBA Championship! Flair retains the title! Flair retains the title! Reigns is PISSED!
Winner (due to ref stoppage) and *still* WORLD Champion: RIC FLAIR! Reigns goes ballistic as Flair celebrates his victory! Roman even grabs the referee and threatens bodily harm upon him! But Strangler Lewis finally catches Reigns upside the back with the steel chair! THWACK! Reigns goes down and both Flair & Strangler Lewis stomp him into wine on the mat! Yet another vicious, cowardly heel move that is blatantly CHEERED by the fans due to *who* it's being perpetuated on! [Heel Roman Reigns!] Suddenly - the mood changes...
Flair is ATTACKED from behind by a hoodie-wearing, pipe-wielding maniac from the crowd! BLAM he takes Strangler Lewis out with a pipeshot! WHACK WHACK WHACK he turns Flair's face into a bloody beef pie! The mystery man continues his assault while the fans start to realize exactly what is happening. Their CHEERS grow even LOUDER and more profound! Could it be?? YES IT IS! It's CM PUNK!!CM Punk has returned to BCCW on the Anniversary of his last history-altering appearance here! Last year at this event he helped spark the "Montreal Mafia" wars and disrupted the "Best of 7 Series!" Tonight he has returned to target Ric Flair, the man who "stole" the World title from Punk! CM PUNK has followed Flair halfway across the country for REVENGE!
What a shocking conclusion! Stay tuned for more action and drama from BCCW and the entire Mash-Up Wrestling universe! Good night!
