Broken City Championship Wrestling by MadStepDad presents..."BiB2016 Kick-Off Show!!"LIVE from Historic Brockton Fair Grounds! Pyro! Explosions! Fireworks, loud music, gyros, slushies and Spicy Italian sausages on the Midway! This is Broken City Championship Wrestling by MadStepDad, and THIS is the "BiB2016" Kick-Off Show! Live from historic Brockton Fair Grounds on Saturday Night - exactly 24 hours before the *BIGGEST* event of the BCCW calendar year; "Bedlam in Boston 2016!" It's finally here! TONIGHT! Booker T takes on arch-rival MVP in a "Boston Street Fight!" Superstar Graham vs. Bobby Lashley in a Heavyweight clash! PLUS the 1st ever Mash-Up Wrestling Hall of Famer is inducted! TONIGHT! Stay tuned!** cut 2 ring ** ___________________________________________________Bray Wyatt (2016) def. "Masshole" Mike McCarthy (2016) w/ "Boston Bad Boy" Tony Rumble(Impromptu Beantown Challenge) With the sun setting somewhere in the background of Broken City, Bray Wyatt (and his Wyatt Family - Rowan/Harper/Strowman) take center ring for another cryptic promo. But surprisingly - the one man brave (or "crazy") enough to interrupt, is none other than local-area legend "MASSHOLE" Mike McCarthy, and his mouthy manager "Boston Bad Boy" Tony Rumble! Big pop for the hometown-flavored excursion, and Masshole's abrasive, mock-ignorant retort! Masshole's challenge leads directly to this next encounter, which basically amounts to a competitive squash match. Masshole himself is a former BCCW Middleweight Champion, but is no challenge when this match becomes 4-on-1. Just to completely put themselves over as heels, postmatch Bray directs his boys to grab up the "Boston Bad Boy" Tony Rumble, and orders Braun Strowman to SPIKE the manager with a Reverse ChokeSlam to end the segment! "The Buzzards have landed in Boston!"** cut 2 commercial ** ___________________________________________________Heartthrobs (2005) def. Love Bros (1965) (BCCW 6-Man Bout)"Sportz-Entertainment" shenanigans from the picket-sign wielding protestors (and former BCCW 6-Man Tag Team Champions) Love Bros and their flamboyant opponents the Heartthrobs, including local-area fan favorite Antonio "Promise" Thomas! Since coming under the tutelage of "Model" Rick Martel (circa 1991) in BCCW, the Heartthrobs have taken their game to a new level - and continue to own that real estate tonight with a resounding victory. Romeo, Antonio & Rick "the Model" Martel are the Mash-Up Heartthrobs!** cut 2 commercial ** ___________________________________________________Sheamus (2016) def. Slyck Wagner Brown (2016) (Heavyweight Bout)This is Boston, and it wouldn't be "Bedlam" without former Heavyweight champion, and BCCW stalwart (for better or for worse) Sheamus 2016 - megalomaniac Heel version. Sheamus can't believe he hasn't been properly booked on the biggest show of the year, and is here to voice his complaints and offer up an "Open Challenge"... it is answered by another former BCCW stalwart, and local-area Legend - returning to BCCW for one night - SLYCK WAGNER BROWN! I see SWB everytime we have a local show, including most recently right here in Brockton for a Turnbuckle Pro show (featuring Kevin Nash, Vader, Tommy Dreamer, Gangrel, Brutal Bob & others). That's when I took the above-picture. Slyck gets a hometown pop, and everybody throws up their "Ws" for the man bred from the camp of Killer Kowalski himself. Excellent Heavyweight duel tonight, and SWB acquits himself well. Of course Sheamus has to steal the victory with a blatant thumb to the eye/lowblow combo to keep up his Heel run, but SWB still gets the Standing Ovation treatment postmatch from the appreciative fans tonight in BCCW!! SWB! SWB! ** cut 2 commercial ** ___________________________________________________Superstar Billy Graham (1976) def. Bobby Lashley (2016) (Heavyweight Bout)HUGE Beantown reaction for Superstar Billy Graham tonight, and his flashy psychedelic Entrance. The Mash-Up Wrestling feud between Lashley & Graham has continued for months in BCCW, with each man trading wins. Tonight the strongman matchup continues with an aggressive showing. Mid-match, Bobby winds up splitting his face open on the ring post and the wound is constantly targeted throughout. Lashley is a former BCCW Heavyweight & Television champion, not to mention MMA-Fighting force. Which is why it's so impressive upon Graham's resume when he gets the victory tonight - outlasting Lashley, absorbing some wicked blows and finally coming out ahead with a Bearhug/Belly to Belly combo [Bobby was blinded by blood in his eyes; allowing Graham to slip free from a sure-fire match-ending Dominator attempt and secure the win]! The Superstar is in BCCW and climbing his way to the top! You will never see such a beautiful champion! Behold the glory of "Superstar" Billy Graham, making noise in the BCCW Heavyweight Division with a huge statement victory tonight in Broken City!!** cut 2 commercial ** ___________________________________________________Mash-Up Wrestling

MVP (2015) w/ BDC (Boston Street Fight)As if the rousing BCCW debut and induction of STING wasn't enough to blow fans minds, we have this seminal Main Event clash. A violent brawl all around the Midway and ringside area as these two mortal Mash-Up enemies do war! MVP is an absolute heat-magnet, while Booker T's solo star is clearly on the rise in BCCW! Chairs! Tables! Popcorn Vending machines! These guys put themselves through Hell and the fans love it! Booker T even has to dispose of MVP's "Beat Down Clan" allies at certain points too (taking out Kenny King with a "Harlem Hangover" through a table - and sending LAX Hernandez face-first into the cotton candy truck!) In the end, Booker T stands triumphant & defiant over MVP, having put him down with a "Scissors Kick" combo! The King of the Streets is here in BCCW, and Booker T has only began his ascent! BOOOOOOKKKKKAAAAAAH TEEEEEEE is the latest sensation to take over the BCCW Heavyweight rankings! The former 6-Man Tag Team champion is ready to pursue solo glory! "BiB2016" Pre-Show LIVE on NESN!-- Video intro /Commentator open / Highlight Package from last night's Hype Show in Brockton MA --** [UN]officially sponsored by ** MARVEL CIVIL WAR!** cut 2 ring ** _________________________________________________________Beer Money Intl def. Doom 2.0 (BCCW 6-Man Tag Team Bout)Beer Money Intl are the loud-mouthed, heat-seeking Heel magnets whose stock (pardon the pun) has never been higher than in the wake of Election 2016. Former UCW Champion JBL alongside AWA Crockett Cup-winning Beer Money are a recipe for Mash-Up Wrestling success. Their foils tonight are ex-BCCW 6-Man Tag Team Champions Doom 2.0 - a contemporary Mash-Up in their own right. Apollo Crews (2016) is the clear singles stand-out of the trio with his glaring athleticism, but his demeanor also clashes with the much serious and more dour duo of Simmons & Reed. Tonight, Beer Money Intl picks up with the win after a thumb to the eye/Clothesline from Hell combo to pin Apollo Crews and send their stock plummeting. Meanwhile, Beer Money Intl stays on the rise and have a very stern postmatch warning of their own for reigning 6-Man Champions The New Day... your bubble is about to burst! ** cut 2 commercial ** _________________________________________________________ ** BCCW Television Title **
AJ STYLES (2016)© vs. SETH ROLLINS (2015) (Middleweight Bout) June 2016. I'm deep into the throes of my newest addiction - comic books! It started with "Superman vs Batman" and crystallized with "Marvel Civil War". Suddenly I was at New England Comics every Wednesday peeping the brand new Marvel series "Civil War 2". From the debut of Ulysses to the death of Bruce Banner & acquittal of Hawkeye, I am hanging on every word & brazen image. So has begun another obsession; one I had tried to shield myself from for so many years before. Meanwhile in a shared universe not far away, AJ Styles was defeating John Cena @ WWE "Night of Champions" in Las Vegas & sinister Seth Rollins was wrestling the WWE World title away from Roman Reigns. All 4 men also cohabit our great BCCW soundstage. Tonight, history rewinds to clash with the future - as reigning BCCW Television Champion AJ Styles (2016) defends against Mr. MitB Seth Rollins (2015). Flashback 10 years for a snapshot of the action: In the end however, destinies diverge and new conquerors emerge. One unseen BLAST from Rollins' "Money-in-the-Bank" briefcase to Styles' FACE sets forth a chain of events. The "Styles Clash" finisher AJ hoped to use was reversed into a pedigree / Curb stomp combo from Seth Rollins for the pin! Oh my, we have a NEW Television champion crowned @ "Bedlam in Boston 2016!!" And we haven't even made it to PPV yet! What's going to happen next! Stay tuned! Winner (and NEW Television Champion): SETH freakin ROLLINS!!![BUY THE MUTHAPHUCKKIN PPV!!] ** Fade Out ** _________________________________________________________

"BiB6"Bedlam in Boston 2016Ringside Commentators I do it for the passion. I do it for the history. I do it for the love, and I do it for selfish indulgence. But most of all I do it for *YOU* - the Mash-Up Wrestling universe! Welcome to another BLAZING rendition of "B.I.B.", in historic SIXTH edition! What began "Baptized in Blood" has returned from the past to bring "Bedlam in Boston" back to the future! TONIGHT! Broken City Championship Wrestling returns to the HEART of the City... Beantown itself! For the biggest SuperCard of the BCCW-year! "Bedlam in Boston 2016!!"
TONIGHT!
It doesn't take Ulysses or Hyksosa to tell you the FUTURE is changing in BCCW! Since the arrival of General Manager Shane McMahon, BCCW has taken on a more mainstream sheen. More WWE talent, more WWE sabotages and unfortunately, more WWE enemies. The idea of course is to grow the business, and nowhere better than following the blueprints of those before you who have been most successful. But what happens when that carefully laid future is ripe for the picking by a new host of unforeseen forces? The Mash-Up Wrestling universe is alive with action as new accounts spring forth and old relics fade into history. But it all continues to swirl around the epicenter - the nucleus of this very game itself - BCCW. TONIGHT! Rivalries, championships & blood feuds will settled! New cathedrals will be raised and old Gods will die in battle! But one thing will forever remain constant - the iron core of BCCW! Who will control it!? When the HEART of BCCW forever belongs to YOU! viva la Mash-Up Wrestling! May you live forever! ** cut to video montage / pyro & commentator intro **_________________________________________________________CACTUS JACK (1996) vs. KEVIN OWENS (2016) (Xtreme Rulez Grudge Match) vs. Long-standing BCCW rivalry that began during the aftermath of the Montreal Mafia wars, when BCCW was still dealing with their toxic clean-up. Mick Foley became BCCW Commissioner and one of his first acts was to strip Kevin Owens of the Middleweight Championship for flagrant weight-class violations. This sparked a chain of events that finally led to KO snapping on Commissioner Foley and injuring him severely. Foley may have been "broken" but Cactus Jack rose in his stead, pursuing KO to the ends of the Earth - and then right back HERE, to Boston MA! (cheap pop) Match itself is a mix of WrestleMania 22 -meets- Ladder War 2012. Just sheer unadulterated mayhem that gives the fans a chance to stomp & chant "BCCW! BCCW!" Of course Kevin Owens has the most longterm potential here, so he picks up the win tonight. But it's not without scars & stripes and a helluva opening match... and we're just getting started! It's already Bedlam in Boston! "BCCW! BCCW!" Winner: KEVIN FN OWENS ** video recap / commentator summary / KO is too exhausted to speak ** ** CUT SCENE **
Upstairs in the Luxury suite, BCCW President Paul Bowser proudly presides over the show alongside his invited guests, Mash-Up Wrestling elite - AGPW owner Emile Dupree & WWE Commissioner William Muldoon. One big ol' boy network - when suddenly we are interrupted by an UNinvited guest... PAUL HEYMAN (2016!) The evil herald Heyman brings a foreboding darkness when he warns of an encroaching storm, and threatens the old guard with submittal - or submission! Instead, President Bowser has security escort Heyman out of the building and out of Boston entirely. Yet the threat is real, and everybody knows it. As evidenced by the grim expressions worn by Bowser/Dupree/Muldoon soon after Heyman is whisked out... which way are the storm winds blowing??"The [Devil's] Advocate" Paul Heyman makes a brazen proposal of extortion & blackmail... and gets tossed out of Boston by BCCW President Paul Bowser!!** cut to ring ** _________________________________________________________** BCCW 6-Man Tag Team Titles **THE NEW DAY (2016) © vs. HARDY BOYZ (2002) versus Both teams come to us tonight at the peak of their respective popularity - which means this match has white-hot crowd participation. From the dueling crowd chants to synchronized cries of "THIS IS AWESOME!" and "BCCW!" the air is electric in Boston tonight! The New Day have really hit their stride in BCCW since becoming 2x 6-Man Tag Team Champions, even dropping their own line of breakfast cereal (called Booty O's! - you can buy them from FYE for about $13! But I *won* mine in a Summerslam betting pool when I went *UNDEFEATED* that night in predictions; winning a championship belt & money pool honors, not to mention the box of aforementioned Booty O's!) Both teams have fought under stipulation before, and even in this match they find themselves swayed to the will of the hyped crowd who is begging "WE WANT TABLES!" Lita winds up scoring spot of the night with a moonsault to Xavier Woods *through* a table in the ring! But in the end it's still not enough, as Big E literally *catches* Jeff Hardy in mid-air while attempting a Swanton Dive - and along with Kofi, spikes Jeff with their "Midnight Hour" finisher! 1! 2! 3! The New Day retain their titles for the 8th straight month! Winners (and *STILL* 6-Man Tag Team Champions): THE NEW DAYBoth teams *shake hands* postmatch and raise each others arms in a display of mutual respect! The voracious fans roar in approval! ** video recap & commentator summary ** ** CUT SCENE **
BCCW President Paul Bowser meets backstage with GM Shane McMahon, and warns him of Heyman's encroaching treachery. But Shane McMahon is obstinate in his beliefs and will have no concern. President Bowser believes there is strength in numbers and that Shane McMahon made a mistake by "excluding Eric" from their discussions. This may prove to be fatal as gathering forces sweep through Mash-Up Wrestling bringing massive change. Speaking of massive change - GM Shane McMahon excuses himself from the room to take a meeting with *HIS* very special invited guest this evening... Dario Cueto, "promoter" for AGPW has been angling to BUY his way into the Mash-Up Wrestling elite! Is he here to solicit GM Shane McMahon's support? Or for something far more sinister?? Stay tuned to find out!! ** CUT 2 RING ** _________________________________________________________

ROMAN REIGNS (2016) vs. STEVE "Crusher" CASEY (1946) (Heavyweight Bout) versus WWE Roman Reigns is the 2016 Golden State Warriors. Pushed to the top, sparkling babyfaces who are championed by the establishment, woman & children alike. Titleist. Poster boy. "Splash Brothers" Superman Punch to every critic & naysayer. In BCCW, Roman Reigns is a heel and acts like one (think Diesel circa 1995-1996) but the end result as still the same as his WWE-timeline alternate version: overwhelming commercial support. T-shirts, logos, commercials - and victories. Lots of victories, just like the historic 73-win 2016 Golden State Warriors. They came from 3-1 down against the Oklahoma City Thunder like WWE Roman Reigns did against HHH & the Authority. In BCCW, since unsuccessfully challenging Ric Flair for the WORLD title, Roman Reigns has thundered up the Heavyweight rankings including a "victory" over Crusher Casey @ "[Next] Scene of the Crime" (click here). Tonight will be Roman's final seal of approval towards his coronation as King of the BCCW Heavyweight division. On opposite ends of the coast/timeline/spectrum we have Steve "Crusher" Casey, straight outta WWII-era America (or, roughly the last time Cleveland was at all relevant to the American sporting scene). In BCCW, Crusher Casey is the grizzled veteran with a long lineage of glory & honor, though recently times have had many fans speculating he is nearing retirement. But the allure of the squared circle and honorable competition continues to stir his athletic bloodlines. Tonight, Crusher Casey (in the heartland of Boston; home to his greatest professional glories) is seeking revenge for a despicable "loss" his suffered in LA @ "(Next) Scene of the Crime". Match itself is played straight up as a Heavyweight slugfest, and very early & very quickly we establish that Roman Reigns is just of a completely different thoroughbred stock. Reings is smoother, faster & even more athletic than the historic fighting Casey's themselves. Much prettier too. This is no doubt. But Crusher Casey has something else in common with the 2016 Cleveland Cavaliers (no, not a lowblow suspension that may or may not have swung the balance of the series) - heart, grit, determination. In other words, Crusher Casey is "all in" from beginning to end. The 2016 Cleveland Cavaliers came all the way back from 3-1 down against the Warriors in the NBA Finals to WIN the title for their city. Something that seemed unfathomable just days prior. Just like Crusher Casey losing on hometown soil against the hated interloper Roman Reigns. Impossible. Anybody by Roman. But in the end, that's just what happened. Reigns sinks a *LOWBLOW* that winds up turning the tide of the match, before finishing Casey with a Superman Punch / Spear combo. You can hear from the roar of disapproval from the crowd, and rain of debris that showers Reigns that something amazingly preordained has taken place in Boston tonight. Destiny divides us all. Roman Reigns may have triumphed, but it is Crusher Casey who gets the postmatch standing ovation and ever-lasting love of the BCCW fans. Winner: ROMAN REIGNS ** cut to exasperated commentator outro & summary / Roman Reigns parting words for BCCW fans ("kiss my azz...") ** _________________________________________________________** BCCW Middleweight Championship **"Diehard" EDDIE EDWARDS © vs. LOS GRINGOS GUERREROS (Handicap Gauntlet Match) vs. Ultimate culmination of the long-standing "Bullet Proof" vs Los Gringos Guerreros gangfight, as "Diehard" Eddie Edwards cuts through the Latin street thugs like he's Punisher Frank Castle. The battle is not without struggle, but Edwards certainly lives up to his moniker "Diehard" - even when he's reduced to a bloody mess in this grueling process. Pinning Chavo Guerrero seems as a miracle after such an onslaught, that the arrival of Art Barr as final competitor is certain nail in the coffin to Eddie's Middleweight title reign. Instead, Edwards fights back against all bloody odds to use Art Barr's own ego against him (reversing a top rope powerbomb attempt after WAY too much jabbering from Art Barr * sinking in a Half-Crab for the finish!) Edwards manages to tap out Art Barr in the final minute of the 4th quarter! Unbelievable victory that is just as exhausting for the fans to watch as it was for Edwards to endure! Eddie will need an IV to hydrate and a trip to the Emergency Room tonight! Winner (and *STILL* Middleweight Champion): "Diehard" EDDIE EWARDS!!BUT NO!! Instead of a nice warm hospital room and some well-deserved rest - Eddie Edwards is immediately booked into another match! A SECOND TITLE DEFENSE! Yes folks, that's the vulture Seth Rollins (2015) running to ringside where he is cashing in his BCCW "Money-in-the-Bank" contract! Oh my, the brand-new Television champion (see Prelims tonight!) Seth Rollins is cashing in on another member of Bullet Proof! The bloody, defenseless & exhausted Middleweight champion Eddie Edwards! He won't quit but he has no chance! Seth Rollins snipes Eddie Edwards while the crowd is still trying to figure out what is happening! Flying knee! Curb Stomp! 1! 2! 3! OMG we have a NEW Middleweight champion! WTF is going on!? Seth Rollins is suddenly carrying TWO BCCW Championship! The crowd is going bananas in Boston!! Winner (and *NEW* Middleweight Champion): SETH ROLLINS (2015)!!** segue ** Finally we get the Entrance & Theme of BCCW GM Shane McMahon to bring some sense to this confusion. They break off the Guerreros, get medical help for Edwards and divert *DUAL* Champion Seth Rollins away from the carnage. But in that time, we are cut off by the Entrance & Theme of Queen Bee SABLE (2003!) Sable confronts Shane on the microphone with another attempt at an extortion angle; promising him ruin if he doesn't allow EC3 to "buy into" BCCW and own a portion! This is Shane's last warning! But of course this is "Bedlam in Boston" and Shane is ready for a fight! Cue magnificent Entrance & Theme of his deadly opponent tonight - Ethan Carter 3rd! ** ACTION! ** _________________________________________________________

SHANE McMAHON (2016) vs. ECIII (2016) w/ Sable (Interpromotional Grudge Match) versus Every universe has a beginning. Some say the shell of our game was born in Boston back in 1963 when a group of degenerate sports writers & editors created it in their downtime. Others say it truly began in the 70s with play-by-mail, or the 80s when tape-trading was in vogue. The Internet boom of the 90s co-mingled with historic, dog-eared & yellowed relics of the PWI paper era. Or perhaps it was the revival of BCCW in 2010, which led to the boom of Mash-Up Wrestling. The Lou Thesz title reign that unified denizens of Fantasy Wrestling & Fight Fiction everywhere. Perhaps this universe truly began on April 1st (no fools!) when the official "Mash-Up Wrestling Network" was launched and seceded States became solvent once more. Either way you count time; via Mayan Calendar or otherwise - one universal Truth cannot be denied. June 2016 was the month everything CHANGED... and a NEW Universe was born. Welcome to the new era of Mash-Up Wrestling! The NWA has folded, giving way to a huge dispersal of talent and influx of "crowned champions" in the universe. Meanwhile #DivaRevolution continues to build steam with the Mash-Up Wrestling Woman's Championship being defended internationally and inter-promotionally, and new all-woman's orgs like LPWA springing up. The tenuous working relationship between BCCW & WWE (referenced earlier with the meeting between BCCW President Paul Bowser & WWE Commissioner William Muldoon - longtime chummy partners) gives way to the upcoming "Big Event 3" in Toronto, but everybody knows what kind of trouble BCCW always runs into in Canada. Speaking of the Great White North, seismic shocks ripped through the universe when rumors of financial impropriety & other economical concerns had Canadian fans worrying they may lose their most beloved Mash-Up Wrestling franchise, AGPW (much like Seattle fans when the Supersonics fled to Oklahoma). AGPW President Emile Dupree is here tonight with President Bowser still basking in the success of their last show, AGPW "Journey to Greatness 2016". All the while, a much-hyped behind-the-scenes Television contract renewal has longtime Mash-Up Wrestling stockholders giddy - and everybody else looking to buy in (think the NBA salary cap exploding in the 2017 season as the result of new TV money). Old foes & faces from Cowboy Bill Watts, Dixie Carter & Eric Bischoff to Verne Gagne, Jack Pfefer & even Stu Hart have been rumored to be launching new start-ups. Everybody wants a piece of the almighty "Infinity Gauntlet". Tonight, epic-level supervillians unite to TAKE their piece of the pie! The almighty "Mount Rushmore of Mash-Up Wrestling" claims EC3 and his vast Carter fortune as their own. Something they planned to use for the purchase of BCCW itself! But when that offer was soundly rebuffed by GM Shane McMahon, EC3 has declared war! He will bring BCCW to ruination! The battle itself is incredibly intense, despite the lack of actual "wrestling" work. It's all Attitude-era brawling and stunning spotfests. Sable gets herself TOSSED from ringside after interference! In the end, BCCW President Paul Bowser's ominous warning from earlier in the show comes back to haunt Shane - when an old ostracized foe returns to seek vengeance! [Re]Enter ERIC BISCHOFF (2010!) The demented madman who jumpstarted WCW, led the NWO & helped sculpt the fearsome Mash-Up Wrestling Illuminati! Eazy Eric Bischoff is back under the umbrella of Mount Rushmore, with a brand new dance! Do the $$$ Dance! Eazy Eric Bischoff is the secret ace-in-the-hole who shows up through the crowd at the most opportune moment to help EC3 steal victory over Shane McMahon on his home turf! If Mount Rushmore & Eric Bischoff can't buy their way into BCCW - then they'll roll the dice, launch their own org - and bring BCCW to it's knees! Welcome to a new era in Mash-Up Wrestling! Welcome to TNA REBORN!! [click here]Winner: ETHAN CARTER 3rd** cut to shocked & outraged commentator recap / video replay -- "WE ARE HERE!" unification speech from EC3 before Eric Bischoff is removed from the building by security -- Shane McMahon too dazed & confused to retort ** -- CUT SCENE -- Backstage, while Shane McMahon is being tended to by medical personnel - BCCW President Paul Bowser, who is checking on Shane, has a verbal confrontation with EC3 & Sable as they leave the building. It serves to further hype the upcoming WORLD title match and sway of power balance in Mash-Up Wrestling. The cameo outro appearance from Dario Cueto hammers that point home further, when Cueto reappears to politely *decline* Shane McMahon's earlier proposal of unity in order to pursue his own agenda! Dario Cueto & EC3 shake hands to signify a new era in Mash-Up Wrestling... in which the old guard will be washed away forever! ** CUT TO RING ** _________________________________________________________

CM PUNK vs. LOU THESZ (Heavyweight Dream Match) versus To understand where we are going, you must first understand where we've been. Why the hallowed initials "BCCW" mean so much in the spectrum of Fantasy Wrestling & Fight Fiction. BCCW was founded as the pro-wrestling offshoot of UFC 1 - 12. Mixing aspects of modern-day MMA with the shootfighting legends of lore. The *REALEST* IZH in Fantasy Wrestling today. Over the course of the last 3 1/2 seasons worth of programming, "sportz" gave way more to "entertainment" as the $$$ figures got larger and backstage drama became paramount. Never before was this new direction more exemplified than during the rise of the Illuminati & subsequent run of the Montreal Mafia. As the immortal Biggie Smalls once said; "mo money mo problems". BCCW became rivals to / then allies with the very force it was founded to oppose... World Wrestling Entertainment. Now, many critics & naysayers say BCCW is nothing more than a Boston-based version of the WWE, complete with circus sideshow acts & parodies. These opinions were solidified the day BCCW President Paul Bowser announced an actual MCMAHON was taking over GM responsibilities (enter Shane McMahon). But there are some who remember things they way they USED to be. When Territory Wars raged and lines in the sand were deemed uncrossable. Lou Thesz is one of those men, and he will remind the world what it means to be REAL. Back in the days there were strict Territorial borders, and hundreds of independent champions. Lou Thesz put an end to ALL OF THEM when he went on his crusade to unify these championships into one. This campaign climaxed at XPW Remixed "(Another) New Years Revolution" [click here] when the universally-recognized WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP was created. Many were unhappy with what they called a monopoly, and set about on a smear-trail to discredit, block or bar the World Championship from appearing in some of the biggest stadiums in the country. CM Punk was one of those spirited dissenters. For years CM Punk trashed Thesz in the media, yet denied every one of Thesz' personal challenges for a match. CM Punk blamed his pussy yes-men and managers for the oversight, but real fans knew the reason - CM Punk was *scared* to face a seasoned shooter like Thesz in a real fight. So Punk lobbed his shots from a glass house and at a safe distance, while Thesz fought, bled & defended his World title. After losing his cherished championship, Thesz took a hiatus from the sport he felt was being corrupted from within. Ruined by people like CM Punk, who talk with such swift disrespect while cowering behind the veil of pop media. That all changes TONIGHT. This match is a shout-out to the way things used to be. The way things SHOULD be. MMA to Sportz Entertainment and all the way back again. This is for UFC 199 when Bisping dropped Rockhold & Hendo KO'd Hector Lombard - all the way to UFC 204 where Bisping & Hendo will meet one-on-one again. Watching Stephen Thompson exorcise Rory McDonald from the UFC to seeing Eddie Alvarez capture once-rival company gold by pounding out dos Anjos. Looking forward to historic UFC 200 and the octagon return of Brock Lesnar. To UFC 203 when CM Punk makes his cage debut. Tonight, CM Punk *needs* this match to validate all his training, sacrifice & blood he's poured into this new endeavor. Fuck pro wrestling. This is as REAL as it gets. Punk vs Thesz! Only in Mash-Up Wrestling and only from BCCW! Let's get it on!! MMA-styled walk outs, crazy crowd pops and intensity before the staredown. Lou Thesz' cornerman Strangler Lewis once tutored Punk himself during his Mash-Up Wrestling WORLD title reign, but Strangler betrayed Punk when it was time to let in the 4 Horsemen. Immediately as the bell rings, CM Punk charges in for the shoot but Thesz defends with a sprawl and the two combatants get tied up in the ropes. CM Punk won't break though and tries hammering Thesz, but that only serves to infuriate the larger Thesz even more. Thesz reverses position in the ring and returns fire on the mat. Crazy frenetic pace to start, and as CM Punk tries escaping to his feet Thesz segues to a knee bar. Thankfully for Punk he manages to roll out, but lands right in deadly Kimura position! Punk is resisting but Thesz simply overpowers him! It's Frank Mir vs. Antônio Rodrigo Nogueira at UFC 140 all over again! PUNK TAPS OUT! PUNK TAPS OUT! No matter! Thesz holds on for just one brutally-sick second longer and *SNAP!!* The bone visibly BREAKS! Thesz leaves CM Punk writhing on the mat in pain, after proving how ravingly imperfect CM Punk really is!!! Winner: LOU THESZ [via Kimura submission at 2:14]

** WORLD Championship **RIC FLAIR (1987) © vs. DAVEY RICHARDS (2013) [Catchweight Bout] versus Epic level entrance for WORLD Champion Ric Flair who arrives via chartered helicopter with a literal red-carpet walkout. Former Boston-area World Champions like Rocky Marciano, John L. Sullivan & Marvin Hagler are shown in attendance and watching on in rapt attention. Davey Richards has his face heavily bandaged from the recent attack by Flair that broke his nose. "American Wolf" Davey Richards is reigning BCCW Flyweight Champion. Let's get it on! Flair struts and stalls to start, but Davey goes right for the champs face in a literal re-telling of "eye for an eye". Flair is the visibly larger man and tries boxing Davey in the corner, but Richards fires back with new-millennium kickboxing & MMA striking to break free! Back down on the mat, Davey proves himself to be near-equal to the champ - until Flair grinds his already-broken nose into the canvas! Once again the striking of Davey Richards comes to the forefront, causing Flair to retreat once again. Only this time Davey catches him by the trunks, revealing the champs full moon! Ten count punches in the corner! Head kick combo! The angry & violent Davey Richards is laying waste to Ric Flair tonight in Boston! Flair flop out of the corner! After another series of body-rocking blows and a near-fall, Flair fights back dirty with the Greco-Roman Nose lock. Knee drops / chops / WHOOOOO! The bandages are coming off Davey's face and Flair is going to work! But in another display of rabid determination, Davey Richards fights free with a HEADBUTT of his own! Off the ropes, Richards ducks a clothesline and hits a Hurricanrana for a close fall! Flair is begging off but to no avail! The Flyweight champion Davey Richards is fired up! So much, that after another bevy of blows the ref actually has to step between the men to peel Davey off Flair... and that's when Flair strikes with the unseen mule kick! WHAM to the family jewels! Davey goes down like he was shot and Flair takes control again! Flair is mocking Davey as blood pours from his face. Flair grates Davey's face into the ropes as the crowd is going crazy. Flair plays to them all the while dismantling Davey Richards. But the "American Wolf" still won't quit! Flair tries a cocky cover after a snap mare, then another with an atomic drop. Suplex from Flair sets up the Figure-4! Davey won't quit so Flair resorts to using the ropes for leverage. The referee sees this dirty play and breaks the move! Flair argues briefly before stalking Davey for another Figure-4... only to fall victim to a small-package roll up on the mat! 1! 2! KICKOUT! This match continues! Back and forth they go, exchanging shots & counters. In the end, Davey hits a missile dropkick off the top rope - but gets reversed into a slingshot from Flair on the mat. The move catapults Davey over the top rope where he SMASHES his already fragile face off the steel ringpost! BLAM! Flair sneaks in for the pinfall, with handful of tights! 1! 2! 3! Flair retains! Flair retains! Loud chorus of boos (with a smattering of cheers) washes down upon him in Boston tonight! Either way, everybody knows they just witnessed one HELLUVA World Title match! "BCCW! BCCW!" Winner (and *STILL* WORLD Champion): RIC FLAIR!!_________________________________________________________

** BCCW Heavyweight Title **"Powerhouse" Frank Sexton (1946) © vs. John Cena (2016) vs. Welcome home, BCCW. This is the big one Boston has been waiting for. 70 years in the making. Undisputed Heavyweight Champion "Powerhouse" Frank Sexton vs. John Cena. Tonight BCCW goes all-out on the production tip. Along with sterling video packages and pyrotechnic displays, John Cena comes out with an entire Navy regime for his entrance. Not to be outdone, and to show the continued patriotism this match exemplifies, Frank Sexton answers with an Entrance adorned with WWII-era army soldiers & regalia. This is war. Main Event bout is a massive amalgam of everything you've witnessed so far this evening. The pageantry, the majesty and the magic. Incredible competitiveness, superhuman strength & endurance, raw emotion. This is SPORTS! This is ART! This is BCCW! BCCW! BCCW! Sexton is the former 2x AWA Boston champion, Pacific Northwest, Montreal & BCCW Champion. John Cena is another BCCW original on a crusade for his historic 7th Heavyweight title reign!! Red white & blue! Let's get it on! The "sportz-entertainment" X-Factor of course remains the mysterious CATRINA, of Lucha Underground fame who has made herself quite an integral part of the Main Event scene (think: AJ Lee circa 2012ish but with TNA Rosemary's sentiment). She does not accompany either man to ringside, but the commentators don't stop wondering about her the entire time, until she finally shows up about halfway through. Sexton & Cena are caught in the throes of battle. These two timeline counterparts are equally-matched, though Sexton may hold the advantage in sheer fan sentiment. After much confusion and misdirection (it's still not completely clear what Catrina's motivations are or where her loyalties lie), the truth is revealed under cover of darkness. A ref bump ensues (that may or may not have been "accidental"). There are a lot of unfortunate coincidences surrounding this match. During this time, Catrina makes her agenda crystal-clear when she dramatically summons *two mysterious masked forces* from the hidden recesses of the backstage area! A terrified Matt Striker on commentator identifies the two figures as Barrio Negro and El Sinestro de la Muerte!! "The Disciples of Death!" Catrina's intentions are clear - this will be unholy matrimony! Catrina is giving her power to Frank Sexton, in exchange for his commitment to lead her "Disciples of Death!" It's a pre-mediated Heel Turn right here in Boston tonight! BUT NO! In *another* shocking swerve, immediately following on the heels of the Disciples of Death reveal, "Powerhouse" Frank Sexton reveals his true colors when he soundly REBUFFS Catrina's offer! Frank Sexton is a hero, never a heel! Sexton & Cena temporarily team-up like Captain America & Iron Man to drive the Disciples from ringside! But Catrina has one last gift for Sexton... a SPRAY of some foul liquid in his eyes! Sexton flails wildly, and falls backwards into an unsuspecting Cena - where John instinctively hits him with an FUAA! Right in the center of the ring! The referee has stirred from his slumber, and now Catrina is shoving him right into the center of the ring for the pinfall! 1!.. 2!.. 3! Half the crowd pops! The other half BOOS voraciously! BUT WAIT! When the video replay is made, Cena *refuses* to accept the championship! Not like this! Now the WHOLE crowd is cheering his sportsmanship! Cena won't accept this finish. Crowd is chanting LET THEM FIGHT! Sexton comes to, clears his eyes, and accepts the challenge! Sexton demands the ref restart the match and we're off to the races again! HUGE pop from the crowd! Both men are battle-weary at this point, with Sexton showing signs of age & fatigue. He misses a Sedalis Cyclone attempt (no doubt still remnants of that blinding mist) and gets posted on the top turnbuckle. A brief skirmish ensues but the end is drawing near for the old warhorse. Cena outduels Sexton on the top rope, and hefts him into position for a huge FUAA off the top rope! BLAM! Sexton goes down hard like a Patriot Missile hitting the middle of the mat! Crowd senses the climatic finish and counts along with the ref! 1! 2! 3! Now everybody cheers! JOHN CENA is once again Heavyweight Champion!! Winner (and NEW Heavyweight champion): JOHN CENA!!Crowd gives a standing ovation to both men after such a titanic struggle. Even in defeat, Sexton is gracious - offering the handshake of mutual respect and then holding Cena's own arm aloft in victory! But Cena is just as humble, and makes sure to show Sexton the proper dignity & class! These are two world-class champions that represent Boston with pride! Sexton powders out leaving the lasting image of his pained expression as he gazes back towards the ring where Cena is celebrating amid confetti & screaming fans. John Cena has won the Heavyweight Championship a historic SEVENTH time tonight! Proving beyond the shadow of a doubt that in a literal Land of Champions, John Cena is the greatest of them all! Good night from Boston and God Bless!![FADE OUT] _________________________________________________________

John Cena truly is the face that runs the place! A record setting 7th Heavyweight Championship! He's the most prolific wrestler in BCCW history. However, there are no shortage of big names on the rise. It is an arguable point to make, but BCCW may have the best collection of possible Heavyweight Title contenders in its already storied history. Granted, some are much closer to being title contenders than others. However, Seth Rollins just won two titles, Booker T is on the rise, Lou Thesz is still the master, Flair remains the World Champion but is still under contract to the Broken City, Ethan Carter III is here, Kevin F'N Owens made a huge statement tonight, Roman Reigns is on fire, and then there's even Bray Wyatt jerking curtains and the likes of Sting milling around (will he or won't he ever compete for BCCW?). I suppose there is also CM Punk, but he just had his ass handed to him (couldn't have happened to a nicer guy).
This was another epic event and it did an excellent job of paying homage to the past while celebrating the future of BCCW and Mash-Up Wrestling. I love the way you connected the timeline events of other organizations shutting down and opening up into some of the stories you were telling. I appreciated the additional context. Plus, the way you recounted the history of fantasy wrestling from the news rooms to the age of the internet and make reference to another time and another place where Lou Thesz and CM Punk were fantasy wrestling foes. This is the kind of stuff that I love about your writing style. You do it better than anyone else. Most of us don't try to tell stories in this fashion. I have tried from time to time, but I don't think it is my strength. When I do it, I feel like I'm the pretender. You are the king of writing like that and so it should come as no surprised that my favourite moments of the entire event were Shane McMahon vs. Ethan Carter III and Lou Thesz vs. CM Punk.
Having said that, it would be criminal of me not to recognize AJ Styles vs. Seth Rollins (on the pre-show!), the Xtreme Rules Grudge match between Cactus Jack and Kevin F'n Owens, Roman Reigns vs. "Crusher" Casey, and the main event: Frank Sexton vs. John Cena as strong contenders for match of the night. While I admire the way you wrote Thesz vs. Punk and enjoyed reading it more than any other match, let's be honest about it: it wasn't the match of the night. It wasn't in the same ballpark as these other contests. Although, seeing CM Punk get destroyed in little over 2-minutes maybe ought to give it serious match of the night consideration.
BCCW never fails to disappoint. Just another in a long line of smash hits! And I'm sure there are many more to come!
