Live Attendance: 13 000
First Match: In his first match back after recovering from an ankle injury, Ultimo Dragon, with Rey Mysterio Jr., Rhino & Yoshihiro Tajiri, defeated the team of Test, Tyler Breeze and the Fabulous Rougeau Brothers in 8-man tag team action. Rhino nailed Test with the GORE! Tajiri gave Raymond Rougeau a Japanese Buzzsaw kick. Mysterio gave Jacques Rougeau the 6-1-9 and a springboard diving crossbody. Ultimo Dragon executed the Asai DDT on Breeze and pinned him for the win. Ultimo Dragon, Rey Mysterio Jr., Rhino and Tajiri have claimed spots in the Rocky Mountain Warfare match!
Jeremy Borash is backstage with Cesaro, who talks about how the International Heavyweight Championship continues to allude him because Dario Cueto won’t let him have a title shot and the champion, “Nature Boy” Ric Flair keeps ducking him. Therefore, he says that if he can’t get what he thinks he is rightfully owed – the title that he believes he rightfully won and was controversially stripped of by Cueto - then he’ll just have to take the Mash-Up World Championship from the “Nature Boy.” That’s right! Cesaro announces that he is entering the Rocky Mountain Warfare match!
Second Match: reDRagon defeated The Crew by pinfall after they gave Mr. Cisco their double team finishing maneuver, Chasing the Dragon. After the match ended, Castro Cortez whacked both Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly multiple times with a kendo stick. Mr. Cisco took out some tables, set them up on the floor, they powerbombed both members of reDragon from the ring apron through the tables!
Vampiro has left the broadcast position for an in-ring interview with AGPW Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair. After cutting a brief in-ring promo about how she’s the greatest female wrestler in the world today and how Sexy Star doesn’t stand a chance of beating her at Rocky Mountain Warfare, Flair tells us that today is our lucky day because her father, Mash-Up Wrestling’s World Heavyweight Champion and AGPW International Heavyweight Champion “Nature Boy” Ric Flair, is here. The Nature Boy comes to the ring. He boasts about how he’s the best male wrestler in the world. He says that he has no problem defending the International Heavyweight Championship against two wrestlers in a triple threat match at Rocky Mountain Warfare because he’s faced them, he’s beaten them all, and he’ll beat them all again. Woooo! Finally, the Nature Boy has a special message for the “Swiss Superman” Cesaro – the World’s Heavyweight Champion didn’t get to be where he is today by fearing anyone. He has the nicest house in the Carolinas, the finest clothing, shoes that cost more than his house, a private jet and a long line of ladies waiting to get in his limo because he’s cashed hundreds, if not thousands, of cheques by wrestling everyone and beating them all. Then, the Nature Boy says that next week, he’s going to be in Buffalo and he challenges Cesaro to walk down to the ring and just try to tell him he’s a chicken shit to his face. “Cesaro, I dare you to come say it to my face! But I know you don’t have the balls to do it, Superman! Woooo!”
Third Match: The Vachon Brothers and the Brain Busters brawled their way to a double countout. Both teams were unrelenting and after neither team made an effort to return to the ring, the referee had no choice but to count them out.
Trish Stratus comes to the ring and she reminds us that last week she issued a challenge to Gail Kim for a match, tonight. Kim comes out and says that she has nothing to prove to anybody. There’s nothing in it for her to take this match. Stratus insinuates that Kim is afraid of her. Kim’s pride is hurt, so she comes to the ring and gets up in Stratus’ face, then leaves the ring. Then, from out of the crowd, Stratus is hit from behind by a woman who is easily twice her size. This large woman puts Stratus in a bearhug and then releases her with a spinebuster. After that, she gives her multiple leg drops before leaving the ring and walking out of the arena with Kim. Who is she?
Fourth Match: Big Ryck defeated The Acadian Giant by pinfall after giving him the Ryck Bottom. Big Ryck received a generous assist from The Crew, who attacked Rhino on the outside, while Ryck distracted the referee inside of the ring. With that win, Big Ryck earns a spot in the Rocky Mountain Warfare match.
Chris Jericho walks into Dario Cueto’s office to complain about the fact that he was left out of the International Heavyweight Championship #1 contender’s picture. He argues that just like, Bret Hart, he was just a Tag Team Champion, and besides, he is the best in the world at what he does, do you understand what he is saying to you? And why is Kurt Angle taking his place in a tag team match, and – Cueto cuts him off and says that he was a victim of circumstances, which was that he asked for the last two weeks off to go on a small tour with his band Fozzy, so he missed out on the opportunity. However, he will make it up to him by giving him a spot in the Rocky Mountain Warfare match. In fact, he’ll do him one better and let him enter the match last, but only if he can beat last year’s Rocky Mountain Warfare winner, “Macho Man” Randy Savage, in a match next week on The Titans of Grand Prix!
Fifth Match: Bret Hart and Kurt Angle beat Batista and Samoa Joe when both Hart and Angle covered Joe for the 3-count, after he was mistakenly speared by Batista. The Animal was lining up Hart for a spear, but he moved, causing Joe to get hit. Angle immediately grabbed Batista and gave him an Angle Slam and then piled on top of Hart and Joe to secure the victory. Now, at Rocky Mountain Warfare, Ric Flair will defend the International Heavyweight Championship against Bret Hart and Kurt Angle.
