"Business Matters to be revealed..."
Sick little mini-movie intro that features footage and soundbytes from NWA Worldwide 12-14 (on FX). There, a tense dialogue was exchanged between Crockett and Cyrus -with soundbytes from that exchange being woven together tonight to create an ill tapestry of deceit, power, corruption and justice. With the dramatic music swelling in the background it’s like watching a preview of your favorite shows season finale episode - compelling you to stay tuned…
JIM CROCKETT: Everything is going great. We got the big unification and the big deal to bring XPW to FX. You guys at the network should be thrilled…
CYRUS: XPW has their last show next week before they come to FX and as my good friend Ed Lewis announced, Dusty Rhodes will appear on that show…
JIM CROCKETT: I think you are looking out for your buddies in XPW as you want a big confrontation to happen on their show and not ours so they spike a big rating before they come over to FX and try to sabotage us.
CYRUS: Next week’s show when the XPW World Champion, Lou Thesz will take on Terry Funk…
It unfolds with video montages of Thesz, Cena - and then previous footage of DUSTY RHODES in XPW Remixed! Finally, it climaxes with these ominous parting words - fading off into an echo of darkness…
JIM CROCKETT: Boston is also a lovely place as well…
** FADE IN **
XPW President Strangler Lewis opens up his show with an in-ring presentation. It is about the FX channel move, to be finalized this evening. Huge company news. But before he can give any further information he is interrupted by JOHN CENA (booooooo!!!)
John Cena cuts into the Strangler on the mic like he’s Vickie Guerrero 2012 with a stack of “Cena kissing AJ” photos & videos - downplaying his own involvement with GDT Inc and alluding to a long, unsettling backstage history between the two of them. But Strangler Lewis breaks the tension with a smile and cues up footage of the new XPW Remixed brand advertising strategy (with their face of the company)…
Crowd boos heavily. Strangler Lewis wants to give Cena the night off. Cena refuses to be coddled and demands action - he wants to fight the Headhunterz TONIGHT! Lewis issues a handicap match tonight - John Cena versus the HEADHUNTERZ! Just then… we get the entrance of XPW WORLD champion Lou Thesz!
Nobody ever accused Thesz of taking a night off… and Thesz takes heavy umbrage to the events of John Cena’s match on NWA TV (photo stills are shown on the big screen). On that night - John Cena beat Mike Awesome by CROOK - using the interference of Territory War mercenaries the Headhunterz! More fodder for the “Cena sold out / Creative control” train of thought. I mean hell, one thing every fantasy wrestling writer wants to see is the perfect John Cena heel turn. So Strangler Lewis plays on the two champions’ emotions to now book Cena AND Thesz together (former tag team champions) in the main event tonight! But Strangler already said it would be a “handicap match” - therefore he’s adding some names to the opponents column… the VOODOO MURDERS! Taru, Big Daddy Voodoo + Headhunterz against Thesz & Cena! All hell appears to be breaking loose between Cena & Thesz (violence Strangler Lewis encourages) - when we get our final interruption…
NWA Champion!
American Dream!
DUSTY RHODES!!
The reigning, defending NWA champion Dusty Rhodes holds the crowd captive in the palm of his hand with his mic work. He goes from everyday comman man just grateful to be living his dream - to vengeful warrior who vows to stand his ground or die trying. Commentators cover Rhodes previous bid at a Unification match in XPW Remixed (Dusty Rhodes lost Pollard's version of ROH title under somewhat dubious circumstances) - so the NWA vs XPW match @ "Chi-Town Rumble" is ultra-important to him. Rhodes is on the scene tonight and teases being privy to some kind of inside information that really gets President Lewis mad. Strangler Lewis is about to remind Rhodes who the "boss of all bosses is", but Rhodes beats him to the punch by volunteering his services alongside Thesz & Cena in tonight's main event! 3-on-4 means it's still technically a "handicap match" (per Lewis order), but Rhodes just has evened the odds significantly! Segment ends with all 3 champions (and Lewis) eyeing each other hard as the crowd goes bonkers and commentators shill tonight's huge main event!!

MILDRED BURKE w/ TRISH STRATUS & ALEXXIS NEVAEH
versus
AWESOME KONG w/ SABLE & ANNIE SOCIAL
versus
The Woman of XPW Remixed started as a freak sideshow attraction that blossomed into much more over time. These 6 women, in some way, represent the entire history of fantasy wrestling (past, present and future) and contest a match tonight that seems to reference all of it. Trish is the plucky underdog, Kong the devastating war hammer, Burke the wily veteran, Sable the evil seductress and Lexxus & Annie Social are on the come up. Heavy emphasis is placed on reigning champion Mildred Burke and the seemingly unstoppable ex-champ Awesome Kong. 3 times she has regained her title after seemingly “fluke” losses. Is Mildred Burke #4 in Kong’s rearview? Everybody looks good but in the end (after Kong bulldozes Trish & Alexxis at ringside) - Burke locks on an airtight arm-triangle forcing Annie Social to tap out.
Winners: MILDRED, TRISH & LEXXUS
Post match, while the appreciative baby faces applaud their victory - Awesome Kong grabs a house mic for the first time in XPW Remixed history - to personally declare her rematch against Burke @ “GRAND CONJUNCTION!” The Awesome One wants her belt back! Mildred Burke is happy to oblige!

JACK BRISCO versus KILO
versus
Commentators cover the Brisco TV title loss to Mark Henry and all the fallout. This is an unofficial "XPW science vs death match chicanery" match. In action, Kilo is a frenzied warrior who bulldozes Brisco with power moves - but finds himself gradually worn down and out over time by Brisco’s science. In desperation, Kilo tries resorting on some of the Xtreme measures that got him to the dance in the first place - but finds himself the subject of ring posts and guard rails instead at the hands of a furious Jack Brisco. Back in the ring, Jack gets the win with a sunset flip counter for 3 after another short but intense exchange.
Winner: JACK BRISCO
Post match, Brisco's victory is cut off by Alberto Del Rio's elaborate entrance. On the mic, ADR speaks of unfinished business and glass ceilings until he has Jack Brisco lathered up for a match @ "GRAND CONJUNCTION". When suddenly, we're interrupted by the entrance of...
TOMMASO CIAMPA!
The young man cuts the promo of his life - putting himself on the same fantasy wrestling plateau as Brisco & ADR! If anybody knows anything about "glass ceilings" it's Tommaso Ciampa! The challenge is drawn and laid! XPW VP Joseph "Toots" Mondt shows up on the entrance ramp to fan the flames further and make it official...

** BACKSTAGE INTERLUDE **
Lewis & Mondt have a meeting (with Mondt voicing concerns over Jim Crockett's surprise appearance earlier in the show). Cyrus (of the FX network) is suddenly unavailable, and Mondt is sniffing something fishy in the air. But Strangler Lewis assures him he has provisions in place to prevent the NWA, Dumont Network or Paul Bowser from legally blocking this move. And the Strangler has one last chess move in place to get rid of Onita & Ambrose once and for all. Skit finally ends with Gorgeous George Wagner bursting into the office in a tizzy. He is outraged over the antics of his opponent Human Tornado, but finds no sympathy from Mondt or Lewis. President Lewis reminds George he set this whole "Best of 7" thing up for him to wrap up early - but he choked and stretched it out to 6 matches. And George better win tonight, because he won't like the result if this thing goes the whole 7 (Mondt & Lewis are major betting men). Gorgeous George looks concerned, but still cocky and arrogant. Stay tuned....

"The King of Cable"
Speaking of Mark Henry and the XPW TV title fallout - we get this brief backstage vignette. Tensions have boiled over completely in the locker room area with Mark Henry and Matt Morgan (over Morgan’s ploy to become #1 contender behind Mark’s back). Finally - after a key absence - “Nature Boy” Buddy Rogers is on the scene too, trying to restrain the two men. He deftly avoids allegations from either side, seemingly playing the middle and keeping the men separated. Mark Henry accuses Nature Boy of double-crossing him while Morgan claims to not have Buddy’s blessing in his move against the TV title. “Nature Boy” (prized agent to the stars) is noncommittal either way but assures them the entire situation is taken care… because he’s been assigned “SPECIAL REFEREE” of their match @ “GRAND CONJUNCTION!” Rogers smiles and glad hands both men - who exchange shifty, uneasy glares with both him and each other… Morgan vs. Henry for the TV title.. . With Rogers as special referee! Which way will the wind blow @ “GRAND CONJUNCTION!”

GORGEOUS GEORGE versus HUMAN TORNADO
(Pimp-Suit Match)
versus
Another thoroughly entertaining affair that broke out after a Twitter/viral war between the two over brand name clothing and personal style. Even big-name fashionistas and legit street pimps had hilarious cameos in some of the online vignettes. In action, Gorgeous George gets humiliated Goldust-style, right down to his silk boxers and thong undergarment! The natty, 1920-era ball and gown style of Gorgeous George winds up in shreds at the alligator shoe-wearing feet of the pimp-strutting Human Tornado! The fans laughter is uproarious over George's public disgrace.
Winner: HUMAN TORNADO
Post match George is freaking out while the crowd goes bananas. Finally XPW Remixed VP Toots Mondt shows up on the entrance ramp to sarcastically applaud alongside them. He pops the crowd even further when he announces the stipulation for their Do-or-Die "Game 7" match @ "GRAND CONJUNCTION"...

"End of the Line"
Series of 3 intersecting vignettes - Onita (bandaged and bruised) in the Lil’ Japan LA underground - Dean Ambrose (bandaged and bruised) in some seedy, dark LA locale - and finally XPW President Strangler Lewis - smug behind his desk, chuckling over the promotional coup he has just pulled… Dean Ambrose versus Onita in a “No Holds Barred/Exploding Ropes/ Barbed Wire Murder Match” @ “GRAND CONJUNCTION!” 2 men will enter but only 1 will survive! Onita & Ambrose separately fume while Lewis puts his official seal of approval on the matter.

The story continues with a nightmarish exchange between Strangler Lewis and the sudden apparition of Sami Callihan! “The New Horror” applauds Lewis for his will to exterminate his enemies (harkening back to the end of Death Match wrestling, and his just-signed “Ambrose vs. Onita” match) - but reminds the Prez who the *REAL* “King of the Death Match” (still) is… In this exchange the table has turned, and Lewis seems to be the one slightly intimidated! In the end - we get another certified fantasy wrestling banger signed for “GRAND CONJUNCTION”… Sami Callihan versus Strangler Lewis in an Xtreme Grudge Match! Oh my! The sneer on Sami’s face proves he got what he came here for… while Lewis stoic expression belies a bit of genuine concern - and maybe fear!!

Former compatriots Cryme Tyme 2.0 happen by Rashad Cameron in the locker room area. They clown him and question his street cred after apparently collaborating with "the man" (Ed Lewis) on the last episode. But Rashad Cameron sticks to his guns and says he's the realest n****a in the BoB2 tourney! And @ "GRAND CONJUNCTION", Rashad Cameron will prove who the REAL HNiC is when he becomes BoB2 champion!!

GENERATION ME versus USO's
versus
PRIME TIME PLAYAZ (w/ GG)
versus
versus
w/
XPW Remixed gets props in the fantasy wrestling sphere by hosting some of the hottest tag team action in history - with a division that runs deep with talent. Here - XPW Remixed shines the light on 3 of those up-and-coming teams. Generation ME (2010), PtP (2013) and Uso’s (2011) combine for a non-stop adrenaline rush - accentuated by the beauty (and head cheerleader of PtP) GG at ringside. In the end Prime Time Playaz prove their push is for real with a pin on one of the Buck boys for the finish. All 3 teams look good (with the Cali Crippler USO’s being native West Coast favorites) but Prime Time Playaz let the beat bang.
Winner: PRIME TIME PLAYAZ
Tag team action continues however with a brutal, and sudden post match attack by the HEADHUNTERZ! Kaos, Titus & GG wisely skip town - as GenME get violently pitched over the top rope and the HHz focus their attack on the Uso’s (see The 5-Point Show: BoB2 cont). But before the Uso’s can be completely crushed - their valet Tamina runs into the ring from backstage! At first the Headhunterz pause, and stalk her like savage animals… until Tamina smiles and reveals the swerve. She’s working with them now after all (enamored by their animalistic fury). She directs the twin behemoths to lay waste to the Uso’s with twin 400+ moonsaults - before having their bodies stacked upon each other - where Tamina hits a top rope Superfly splash for good measure. Tamina holds the Headhunterz arms aloft in victory, as they are set to face Cena, Thesz & Rhodes TONIGHT!

** BACKSTAGE INTERLUDE **
Cena/Thesz/Rhodes finally have the big backstage face-off and sparks fly. This is the last hard-sell for the Unification bouts at the end of the year and all 3 men raise the intensity level significantly. They team tonight - and go to war @ "GRAND CONJUNCTION" and "Chi-Town Rumble"!!

3 MAN BAND!! (feat. Heath Slater, Jinder Mahal & JC Ice Baby)
They do their little shtick, but predictably 3MB get run through like chainsaws by the LOD - who destroy all 3 men before performing a show-stealing Doomsday Device on JC Ice Baby for the self-counted “pinfall”. LOD get to bask in the glow of the appreciative crowd, but only for so long…
Enter TRULY BAD INTENTIONS (Ryback & Machine Gun)

"The Real Unification Fight"
Lewis & Mondt discussing business again in the back, but now their tone has changed. It is filled with anger and uncertainty - from Sami Callihan’s PPV challenge to the over/under on the main event line. Just then - NWA rep big Jim Crockett enters the picture! Lewis & Mondt had been expecting FX reps but get Crocket instead - and they’re not happy about it. Crockett has alluded to “business meetings” of his own on NWA TV, and he’s here tonight to personally deliver the following message: the FX meeting tonight must be rescheduled. The network has a few more numbers they need to go over before they can commit (and it’s regarding XPW Remixed financial sheets). Lewis curses Crockett for this paperwork pause, but seemingly has the last word when he reminds Crockett that he may have the power to postpone the merger - but he can’t stop it. And neither can the Dumont Network or old enemy Paul Bowser back east. Business is going down @ “GRAND CONJUNCTION” whether the Territory Wars wants it or not - and in a completely egotistical move, Lewis even offers Crocket skybox seats at the PPV. Jim Crockett politely declines, but cryptically mentions he may show up there after all… he exits and Lewis & Mondt have murderous glares in their eye…

THESZ, CENA & RHODES
versus
VOODOO MURDERS & HEADHUNTERZ
versus
All-star fantasy wrestling main event that lives up to the hype. The VMz and HHz are a formidable tandem - but Cena/Thesz/Rhodes is on another level of interplanetary funk. Thesz won’t trust Cena (but begrudgingly admits he owes Cena one after saving Thesz from a Doomsday Device) - Cena fights with a huge chip on his shoulder (as the “CENA SUCKS” chants are deafening as we speak) - and Dusty Rhodes nearly steals the show with his crowd-pleasing shucking and jiving! The only thing Cena & Thesz can agree upon is not letting the NWA champion outshine them on their own show. Meanwhile, the Black Army remnants of Taru, Big Daddy V and the Headhunterz use this dissension to carve out large portions of offense for themselves - forcing both Cena and Rhodes to play face-in-peril at certain points. Tamina is now seconding the HHz at ringside, and serves as a bitter distraction as well. But in the end - after what appears to be a miscommunication between Thesz & Cena that could end the match - the good guys finally get it together. All 3 men unleash their solo chains of moves upon their opponents at the same time - climaxing with a triple clothesline that takes Big Daddy V over the top rope. Taru eats a Bionic Elbow! The Headhunterz stagger into twin STF attempts from Thesz & Cena! They torque the move on their foes so hard, while angrily eyeing each other the entire time! HHz have to tap out!!
Winners: THESZ/CENA/RHODES
Post match Thesz & Cena once again go face to face and belt to belt... but this time Dusty Rhodes joins right in! Commentators are frantically shilling the "GRAND CONJUNCTION" PPV while imploring fans to check the local cable directories for information on the next XPW TV Episode! Cena vs Thesz with the winner meeting Dusty Rhodes the next night! HISTORY IN THE MAKING!!
