ORDER TODAY
Match 1
Rhino def. Joey Ryan via the Gore in only 28 seconds. After the match, Joey Ryan got on the mic and said he’s suffering from ebola which is why he wasn’t on his A-game tonight. He says that he’s going to Med-Express to get some antibiotics and then promises that, at Full Gear, the Dong Style Open Challenge will return BIGGER than ever.
“Ace Romero, the fat sack of lard that he is, has no defining qualities that any professional wrestler should have. I am the total package and I am the quintessential professional wrestler. I am world-traveled, I am a technical mastermind, and I know how to manipulate the human body. The only thing Ace Romero knows how to manipulate is the cashier at McDonald’s in order to receive a discount on his half-dozen order of double cheeseburgers. Rest assured AEW, you won’t have to be victimized by this living, breathing heart attack much longer. I am ascending to the very top of the AEW roster and Ace Romero is simply a very LARGE stepping stone to catapult me there.
Ace, I hope you’re ready. Eat an extra order of fries, have three milkshakes instead of two- It’ll be the only highlight of your day come this Saturday.”
Match 2
“The National Treasure” Nick Aldis def. Tony Nese in a competitive back-and-forth match after making Nese tap to the King’s Cloverleaf.
HIROSHI TANAHASHI
IS
#ALLELITE
Match 3
Tessa Blanchard and Ronda Rousey def. Dakota Kai and Io Shirai after Tessa pinned Dakota Kai with a handful of tights. After the match, Io and Tessa began brawling until AEW officials flooded the ring in order to separate the women ahead of their championship match at Full Gear.
“This Saturday at Full Gear, I have the opportunity to take the AEW National Championship from Elijah Burke. All the smoke and mirrors aside, I respect Elijah and his in-ring ability. It seems that he doesn’t respect himself, though - and he certainly doesn’t respect the National Title. Burke walks around here cheating to keep that championship over his shoulder. He sees that title as nothing more than a prop. We all know why Burke is in AEW, and that’s for the paycheck. When it comes to heart, passion, and determination - Burke has NONE of those things. I bust my ass every day of the week training and trying to get better at what I love. Elijah Burke is resting on his laurels. Make no mistake - come Full Gear, he’s in for the fight of his life. And if Hangman Page has anything to say about it, there WILL be a new champion. How’s that for some cowboy shit, Burke?”
Match 4
Jurassic Express def. Jake and Dave Crist w/ Sami Callihan in a rematch from last week’s episode of Dynamite. Though Callihan tried to interfere, Luchasaurus knocked him out with a spinning roundhouse kick, leading to the mesozoic duo performing a Chokeslam/Moonsault combination on poor Dave Crist for the victory.
“People have been asking me, Mark Henry, what’s the deal with PCO and Brody King since Killer Kross ain’t around to tell his lackies what to do? Well I’ve been thinking that just because Kross is out right now don’t mean that PCO and King should get a free pass which is why this Saturday, we are gonna have ourselves a number one contender’s match for the AEW tag titles! The Guerrillas of Destiny will face off against the Jurassic Express. The winners of that match will face Brody King and PCO on the following week’s episode of Dynamite for the tag team titles! Good luck, gentlemen.”
“In just a few moments, I’m gonna step in that squared circle against the Switchblade himself, Jay White. Jay’s got himself a nice little title opportunity this weekend at Full Gear and I have a feeling he’s taking me lightly. White might not even make it to Full Gear after I’m done with him. You see, people seem to forget exactly what I’m capable of doing. In just a few moments, I’m gonna go out there and show you all just who the hell I am. The Machine is here to stay. Jay White, I’m gonna destroy your punk ass and take that title opportunity right out of your hands. Like taking candy from a baby…”
Match 5
“Switchblade” Jay White def. “The Machine” Brian Cage after an incredible bout. During the match, Brian Cage was able to execute a multitude of death-defying moves much to the crowd’s delight. However, it was the Blade Runner from Jay White that was able to overcome the power from the Machine for a clean victory in the center of the ring.
Daniel Bryan appears on the stage holding the AEW Championship over his shoulder. He grabs a mic and begins to speak.
“Congratulations, Jay. What a hard fought victory against the Machine. I heard what you had to say last week. You had the nerve to call ME a transitional champion. Listen here Jay, and listen real close. When I put pen to paper on my AEW contract I had no intentions of just being flavor of the month. I’m here for the long haul, I’m here for my family, and I’m here for all these AEW fans! You’re here for YOURSELF!”
And with that, Jay White exits the ring and runs up to Bryan who meets him halfway down the ramp! The two men begin brawling and the crowd is going wild!
Kevin Kelly:
"WE HAVE AN ALL-OUT BRAWL HERE ON DYNAMITE! But we’re OUT OF TIME! Folks if you haven’t yet, make sure to order Full Gear live this Saturday, only on pay-per-view! SOMEONE STOP THESE MEN!"
"WE HAVE AN ALL-OUT BRAWL HERE ON DYNAMITE! But we’re OUT OF TIME! Folks if you haven’t yet, make sure to order Full Gear live this Saturday, only on pay-per-view! SOMEONE STOP THESE MEN!"
The cries of Kevin Kelly coupled with the visual of Bryan and White laying into each other on the ramp is the final scene we get from this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite. Next stop - FULL GEAR!
