Match 1
Tony Nese v. Brian Kendrick
“The Premier Athlete” Tony Nese is making his debut in this match against Brian Kendrick. Both men lock up and Nese shoves Kendrick into the corner and follows up with a huge running knee to the chin! Nese brings Kendrick down to the mat and starts working the neck with a side headlock. Kendrick makes a comeback and nails a few forearms followed by a big dropkick! The crowd starts rallying behind Kendrick who attempts to hit Sliced Bread Number Two, but Nese shoves Kendrick off, spins Kendrick around, and hits a huge brainbuster on Kendrick! Nese floats over into the pin for his debut win.
Winner: Tony Nese by pinfall
The crowd cheers as the new AEW World Tag Team Champions, Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson, appear on the big screen! Anderson begins to speak.
"Now that's how you make an impact, huh Docski? I mean that's just what we do. We go where we want, when we want, and we TAKE what we want! And in this case, we took these beauuuu-tee-ful AEW tag team titles! Tell them how it is, my good brother!"
"When we heard about AEW starting up we knew we'd have to show up eventually because you can't have an elite tag division without us! We're world traveled. We're pretty damn good in that ring. Our bald heads are in prestine condition. And we smell great! Something our opponents tonight- those nerds PCO and Brody King wouldn't understand!"
"What's a Kross Kult anyway? You know I was in a cult once, but then they told me I had to stop being so awesome in order to let other 'superstars' have their moments, so I moved on to bigger and better things. But that's just the kind of champions we are. Let it be known that me and Doc plan on holding these tag titles for many months- years -to come! Too sweet me, Docski!"
Gallows and Anderson do the "too sweet" and smile as we head to our next contest of the evening.

Match 2
Luchasaurus & Jungle Boy v. Motor City Machine Guns
Luchasaurus and Jungle Boy want to make the most of their first match in AEW as they stand across the ring from the Motor City Machine Guns. It’ll be Luchasaurus and Alex Shelley kicking things off! Shelley tries to use his speed but the deceptively agile Luchasaurus is able to knock Shelley out with a quick roundhouse kick. Both men make tags to their respective partners and here comes Jungle Boy and Chris Sabin! Sabin and Jungle Boy go back and forth with quick moves including hurricanranas and arm drags. It’s Sabin who gets the mid match advantage with a big boot in the corner that rocks Jungle Boy. Luchasaurus tags in Jungle Boy from his corner and Luchasaurus enters like a man possessed! A huge kick to Sabin, then to Shelley on the apron, followed by the kneeling reverse piledriver he calls the “Dinodriver” gets the win!!
Winners: Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus by pinfall
Mark Henry appears on the big screen as the fans cheer! Henry smiles and begins to make his first declaration as AEW Dynamite’s General Manager. Henry states that the conduct displayed by Jay White at Double Or Nothing was far from elite behavior. He says that Adam Page deserves better and so do these fans. Henry says that a little birdie told him that AEW’s next pay-per-view is coming up in a few weeks and it’s called Fyter Fest. He says that Page deserves justice so he will get his rematch against Jay White at AEW’s second pay-per-view! The crowd cheers as Henry declares this will be a STEEL CAGE match in order to ensure neither competitor decides to run away without a fight!
Match 3
Ace Romero v. Marty Scurll
This was a fun match with Ace Romero getting several big moves in on The Villain! Scurll was able to break down the big man and bring him to the mat in order to work the arm. At one point, Scurll attempted to break the fingers of Big Ace but to no avail! Ace attempted to hit a POUNCE on Scurll, but the crafty Villain countered it into a crossface chickenwing! Before Romero was about to tap out, JOEY RYAN appears on the ring apron! He’s sucking a Blowpop making suggestive faces at Scurll who looks disgusted. Scurll has no choice but to break the submission and walks over to Ryan who suckerpunches Scurll right in the mouth! The fans begin to boo as the referee calls for the bell. It seems like Joey Ryan isn’t happy that Scurll won the first ever Dong Style Open Challenge at Double Or Nothing.
Winner: Marty Scurll by DQ
Cody and Brandi Rhodes make their way to the ring to a big pop from the crowd. Cody enters the ring and begins to talk about his match with Kenny Omega and Killer Kross at Double Or Nothing. Cody apologizes to the fans for letting them down. He goes on to say that he will continue fighting to make sure that the Kross Kult is extinguished from AEW. It’s at this time when…
Mike and Maria Kanellis appear on the stage! Mike says Cody SHOULD feel bad for letting everyone down, but he knows that’s the “Cody” thing to do - just ask Cody’s wife. Cody gets fired up in the ring wanting to fight! Mike Kanellis continues provoking Cody by calling him an overrated “Mike Kanellis wannabe.” Mike tells Brandi that if she wants to see a real man in action for a change, watch his in-ring debut next week on Dynamite. Mike and Maria leave the stage as Cody is fuming with anger. Brandi tries to calm him down as we head to commercial.
Match 4
The Good Brothers v. The Kross Kult (PCO and Brody King)
PCO and Brody King have a huge opportunity tonight to prove themselves against the new AEW Tag Team Champions. The Good Brothers have full fan support tonight as they chant for them. Doc Gallows and Brody King start things off! An exchange of powerful moves from both men wow the audience, but it’s a missile dropkick from the top rope from Brody King that turns the tides in favor of the Kross Kult! The fans continue to rally behind the Good Brothers, hoping for a big comeback. Doc Gallows makes the hot tag and in comes Karl Anderson! Anderson uses his speed advantage to stay on the offense against a worn-out Brody King. King finds an opening and makes the tag to PCO who immediately comes in and hits a dropkick on Anderson. Both men continue fighting for a good amount of time when PCO hits a huge piledriver on Anderson. Gallows tries to reach for the tag but Anderson is too far away. Brody King suddenly tries to enter the ring and the referee is distracted when JAMES MITCHELL enters the ring and hits Anderson with his cane! The fans begin to boo! Gallows attempts to help his partner but Mitchell takes the cane and swings it at the head of Gallows, taking him down! The referee finally turns around and sees Anderson on the mat and PCO climbing to the top rope - MOONSAULT! PCO covers...1…...2…..3! KROSS KULT WINS! All thanks to Father James Mitchell.
Winners: PCO and Brody King by pinfall
The New Day is backstage and appears on the screen. As Big E and Kofi Kingston look on, Xavier Woods begins to speak.
“Listen. The fact of the matter is we don’t owe any of you an explanation. In fact, that’s why we did what we did at Double Or Nothing. Each and every one of you are always expecting something out of us but you have never once stopped to consider what any of you do for us. Why is that? Could it be because you so called fans are selfish? Or could it be another reason? Let’s face it. The likes of Big E, Kofi Kingston and myself have ALWAYS owed one of you people an explanation. Our entire lives, we’ve owed someone an explanation for our actions and yet we’re never questioned as long as we do what we’re expected to do. But the ONE TIME we do something that’s even slightly questionable, people turn their backs on us. Persecuting our kind. Speaking for Big E and Kofi over here, it’s been that way since as long as we can remember. We have busted our asses for YEARS and that’s STILL not enough. You believe we still owe you an explanation. The fact of the matter is, we don’t owe you shit.”
The camera abruptly cuts off from the New Day’s backstage segment. The arena is in complete silence as the audience has no idea why Xavier Woods is saying the things he’s saying. We then go to our next contest.
Match 5
Io Shirai v. Jordynne Grace
Io Shirai and Jordynne Grace both have a good amount of fanfare behind them as both women lock up and begin a series of chain wrestling. Grace hits a neckbreaker for a near fall but Shirai makes a firey comeback with multiple forearms to Grace! Grace’s power is too much for Shirai as she connects with a massive powerbomb nearly driving Shirai through the mat. Jordynne Grace tries to set up for a lariat but Shirai comes out of nowhere with a rolling front kick! A near fall causes Shirai to feel the desperation at this part of the match. Shirai brings Jordynne back to her feet but control over the match is short lived as Jordynne nails the Fall From Grace for the victory!
Winner: Jordynne Grace by pinfall
Logan Shulo is standing backstage and receives a huge ovation from the audience!
“The most exciting rhythms seem unexpected and complex, but the most beautiful melodies simple and inevitable. When I finally make my debut on the big stage, I hope that you all come to understand what it is that makes a melody so beautiful to begin with. The Virtuoso of Violence, yours truly Logan Shulo...coming soon to AEW Dynamite."
Match 6
Killer Kross v. Alberto Del Rio
AEW World Champion Killer Kross is out first as an overwhelming amount of boos fill the arena! Out next is Alberto Del Rio to a fair amount of cheers, likely due to the disdain the audience has for Kross. The bell sounds and Del Rio is out of the corner throwing fists towards the head of Kross! This just makes Kross angry who throws a huge left hook right at Del Rio, connecting squared in the side of Del Rio’s face. Del Rio is wobbly as Killer Kross takes him down with a huge double leg takedown and begins pounding away at the face and head of Del Rio. The fans boo as Del Rio is defenseless. Kross continues pummeling away at Del Rio before the ref is forced to pull Kross away. The fans boo as a sick smile develops on the face of Kross. Del Rio is busted open! Kross sees his opening…
And locks in the KROSS JACKET! Del Rio refuses to tap out, but eventually fades away and the ref has no choice but to call for the bell.
Winner: Killer Kross by submission
Kross stands up as his music hits. The fans boo viciously as Kross laughs. He walks over to the fallen Del Rio, wipes his own hand across Del Rio’s bloody face, and then masks his own face with Del Rio’s blood.
Kevin Kelly: This man is sick! He’s no champion, he’s a monster!
Don Callis: Who can stop this guy, Kevin?
Suddenly out of nowhere…
IT’S KENNY OMEGA! AND HE JUST DELIVERED A HUGE V-TRIGGER TO KILLER KROSS! The fans are going wild as Kenny has just laid out the AEW World Champion!
Kevin Kelly: Kenny Omega has seen enough, thank God!
Don Callis: Well I guess somebody had to stop this guy, he’s insane!
Kenny Omega grabs Kross’s championship title and poses with it, making his intent clear that he wants a one-on-one match with Killer Kross for the AEW World Championship. The fans are sent home happy as The Cleaner stands tall to conclude this episode of AEW Dynamite.
